Adagium and the Arena

"Tell me Kale, how do you know of Ifrit?" I questioned the amazon lady with intense expression on my face. It seemed there is one Astral from Kale's declaration of our marriage (even though I don't agree with it).

The amazon woman still had her eyes on me while still blushing before she became happy. "I'll be glad to give you my knowledge of the fire god husband." she answered to me as I let go of her and walked back a few feet's. This would take some time for her to explain.

Kale began to explain. "Long ago, when our tribe were still young we weren't untied as one with the other amazons. They were on constant war of each other, it was on the time we amazons were on the verge of extinction when our enemies had the advantage over us. Just as we were about to be surrounded by the enemy, a huge fire dropped down to the sky and incinerated our enemies."

That sounds like either it was a meteor since it's not that common for a meteor to drop down to Earth Atmosphere. But from the parts I'm getting it might be Ifrit.

Kale continued her explanation. "The fire that dropped down to the heaven has blessed us his protection over the other beings who wish to take an advantage over us. The heavens fire told us its name was Ifrit and he shall become our guardian until the time has come for him to depart."

Interesting, at least this version of Ifrit is more considerable. "Then what?"

"Then the amazon joined together, and with Ifrit's help, we were able to push back our enemies from our land. Afterward, it took our kind 4 generation to return from the brink of extinction and Ifrit taught my kind how to farm, how to make weapons, even took the leaders of the tribe to form a council that represent our kind."

So Ifrit managed to create a civilization for the amazon. That is very uncommon for him to do, but in some worlds he does often do this, so it wasn't that bad. "Ifrit gave us his weapon, his sword, to us for safekeeping when he finally departed from us."

"Interesting, and do you have this weapon, Kale?"

She shake her head, "No husband, my tribe is responsible for keeping Ifrit's sword safe until he's return."

Damn it, that would have been helpful but oh well. What to do. I think I might have to take the dark world a visit, though I need to be careful. "I will be in my room, do not bother me, I need to think on my next move." Kale nodded, her looks sadden as she wanted to spend some time with me but knows that she can't since she and I are just married and I need some time to process this, luckily for her I was going to process this, but I also need time to figure out what to do with my newly acquired wealth, and I need an army to beat Edwin and acquired as much firepower to delete False Bahamut from existence.

Judging by the number of stacks of money I counted, I have just about 80 million dollars, enough to set up my own company. And my army of drones won't be enough, in fact, they will be easily destroyed by False Bahamut and by extension, Edwin McBlackness.

But then I double checked the money again and saw I was missing 3.5 million dollars, so the total money is 76.5 million dollars. But I don't want to attract the attention of him, the Taimanin and their government buddy and the UFS. I began to think of some ideas before it came to me all of a sudden, I remembered that my brother told me how in business deals they first invest money on stocks and use them to make their companies or their own building.

Looks like I'm choosing the most icon business.

Hotels.

That's right hotels, I got the money that's all I need but I also need workers, a lot of workers to work on my hotels. It would take time to gather as many employees to operate a hotel which is what I don't have. But the question is, where should I gather employees to operate a hotel.

But I remember that Amidahara is full of people, even though that the city was nuked after the Chinese Union and UFS war. I quickly left my room and found Kale, sharpening her axe with her back towards me, showing me her huge ass. Damn, now that is a good quality ass, perhaps I should be a bit nicer to her. "Kale, I'm going out to do some errands I need to do, keep the place safe while I'm gone, got it?" Kale jumped a bit and turned around, blushing that I snuck up behind her.

"Yes husband, I will keep this place protected." She bowed to me slightly, making her large breasts bounce.

I nodded and left the warehouse to go to the main city. I got on the jeep and went to the city when I heard in my head, "Adrian, you there?"

"OH SHIT!" I accidentally turned my jeep to a wall, which I quickly hit the brake to stop it from crashing into the wall. "Who said that? Wait a minute, Bahamut is that you?" I asked the voice in my head, ok that sounded weird.

"It is Adrian, forgive me for the sudden surprise but I need to know what is your update with the astrals." Bahamut voice echoed on my head. I continued driving through the streets of Tokyo.

"Well, I did found where one of your astrals is." I answered to Bahamut as I stopped at the streetlight that turned red.

"You have?"

"Though it will a bit complicated for that because you know why?" I asked Bahamut for a little question before the light turned green as I press on the gas. "He's in another world called the dark world. A group of Amazon woman worship him as their guardian deity. So will it hard to reach him."

Bahamut became silent for a few minutes as I stopped at the red light again, another car drove next to me stopping as well, I did a quick glance and saw it was a group of men in a Lamborghini as they talk and laugh while begin with some woman there.

I notice that their cloths was of Taimanin design and their expression was…broken. I turned away from the site and ignored them, though I did leave a little smirk as the light turned green.

"Thunder."

I did not look back at the site as I knew what already happened. So I continue driving while Bahamut finally spoke after some time.

"I notice that you area bit frustrated in your emotions, may I ask what is happening?"

"Speak for yourself dragon, I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. If you expected to find your companions then it will wait because apparently the fastest way to find them is by having minions on my side, that way I can discover the astrals much faster than wasting my time than looking for them by myself." I replied to Bahamut in a bit of a rude manner.

I heard Bahamut sigh, "Don't I know the feeling, Ardyn. Which is why I made this little thing. Admittedly, this was already made by someone else, but I manage to made a deal with him to let me have it in exchange for helping him on his little project of his. This should help you grow powerful in case some of these monsters decide to join you."

A laptop appeared besides me on the passenger side. "Thanks Bahamut, I'll made sure to check it out once I am done gathering my first round of employees. Over and out, you overgrown gecko."

"OVERGROWN WHAT – YOU LITTLE ^&&^((!"

I laugh out loud after the connection Bahamut made was cut off. I managed to make to a perking lot before getting off the jeep. I summoned a bunch of paper, along with tape and went to different areas of the main district of the city. I taped a bunch of hiring sheet containing the address of the location, which was near the warehouse, and the time where I will be available to interview them. After that, I went back to my jeep and open the laptop to see what did Bahamut gave me that would help me.

Achievements are what they are, however, the kick is that they give you rewards based on what you did. For example, killing your first human gives you a small bonus against human enemies.

However, some Achievement will be locked based on your choices at crucial moments.

You need to accept the achievements in order to get the rewards.

Reward: Businesses owned by you gets a 5% increase in revenue income to you.

Reward: Increase Daemon Summon to 5.

Interesting, this would proof useful to me whenever I want to get stronger, I can already feel my body growing stronger the moment when I had completed my personal task. I need to keep up with the work though I wonder, is this similar to a gamer system in those comics or fanfics? I typed down a question on the laptop.

Is this system similar to the gamer systems?

No, the purpose of this system is to give you a boost on your powers, the power of the adagium is too great and it will take a toll over your body if you use it unexperienced the corruption will take control over you.

I see, then it looks like I need to be more careful with my powers then. Maybe that why he wasn't active the past years after he was released from his prison and needed to train his adagium abilities before he takes action.

Now that's done with the clarification, I typed on the laptop to schedule an appointment with the construction manager so I can start with my building plan.

That long?! Damn, well that could give me enough time to planned out my next step of my is to make my own little army, which is somewhat possible thanks to the rewards I have gotten. I need to head to an isolated location and thanks my new daemon powers. Plus, I am pretty sure I will be attacking several gangs bases to steal their members and assets.

I feel like I forgetting some important piece of information. OH Shit! The Chaos Arena, I forgot about that place! That would be the perfect place to recruit some minions and even a powerful warrior or demon. But some of the gang members might be there and considering my attacks on what was apparently one of their major supply base, based of the money, weapons and drones that was there, they might get a little jumpy.

Might have to be careful with them. But I can shapeshifted at well, so that is a moot point, but one can never be too careful. I will have to visit the Arena soon so I can get a glance at the place in case I have to conquer it at a later date.

But first I need to test my ability before I take some action, so I turned to black wasp and teleported to the roof and reconfigured myself. I looked around for anyone who else was here but luckily there was no one.

"Good, now then." I don't know how to summon a daemon since Ardyn never showed the skill or even summon one daemon under his control. What are the odds of a daemon betraying me or attempt to kill me. I did the usual summon ritual.

I put out my hand and closed my eyes for a moment before black miasma smoke appeared. A small pale humanoid appeared, wearing ragged clothing and a red cap. It looked around before seeing and kneeling before me. It seems to recognized me as its master, then again, considering that daemons have a hierarchy based on power, I am not too surprised by this.

I smirked at the creature, and summoning the other daemon goblins, them just bowing to me as I summoned them. I send them away, thinking of ways to utilize them offensively and defensively for myself.

Now to find where the chaos arena might be in...oh wait I already know because of the location the Taimanin gladly gave to me. Mhmhmmhmhmhmhmmm what lucky and a coincidence day I just so happened to have.

"WOW! ANOTHER VICTORY FOR KINOM THE TOUGH! GIVE IT UP FOR THE THREE ALL TIME WINNER OF THE CHAOS ARENA!"

"COME ON! WHERE ARE THOSE DEMON SLAYER SLUTS!"

"I WANNA SEE THEM GET FUCKED! THATS WHAT I CAME FOR!"

I was sipping my drink while watching a pair of female fighter fought each other before the muscular woman in a red leotard pinned down the petite woman and knock her out. She raised her fists and yell in triumph while the crowd roar. One of the female attendant refills my drink while people came out and grabbed the petite woman before dragging her away, most likely taking her to a room while orc or some other demonic creature would fucked her. But I wasn't here to rescue her or the Taimanin trapped in the arena, regrettable as it is. Nope, I am here to recruit some minions for myself as a starting point for my group.

Before I went inside, I summoned my daemon goblins and had them scout the place, see if there was an infiltrations point where in the future, I could conquered the place with some ease. Unfortunately for me, there were either too dangerous or would take too long. So I reluctantly stop my plan for this place for now, at least until I became powerful enough and have enough manpower to conquer this place.

But for now, I am looking for minions to act as my first small assault group, not a army since I need hundreds upon hundreds people working for me as my personal army but I don't need the attention for now, so a small group, maybe 9 or 10 will do. I looked around and saw a group of orcs looking at the fight with some smirks at their faces by my left. While to my right, I see five humans leaning against the railings, drinking some beer and soft drinks.

I put out my hand and closed my eyes for a moment before black miasma smoke appeared. A daemon goblin appeared beside me. So I have made my decision as I went to the group of humans, when I was near them I began to hear their conversation.

"Man I'm honestly getting tired of this shit."

"What do you mean Jim? Don't you want to see some slut Taimanin getting fucked by orcs? I'm pretty sure you even had a taste of one of them."

"That's just it, I do my job, I watch, fuck and go to sleep then the next day I repeat. I'm honestly getting bored of this shit."

"Same man, I work here hoping I could have sex with those big breast woman without any restrain. I did eventually but the pay is not good at all."

"Speak for yourself my rent is due next week and I'm doing night shift just to pay for my rent. I really regret spending my money on those sluts."

"Come on guys there's no need for any negativity here. How about this, after we drink we can go and find a job somewhere in Tokyo."

"Thanks Peter. Glad you have some common sense here."

"No worries, even I know about the harsh reality of the word, even if we don't get caught by the government we're pretty much fucked if we don't find a way to get more money."

Wait a minute, Peter? As in the guy I mugged a few days ago, ops. Well, considering what I did to him, and I have the money, I should hired him and his buddies. And those orcs as well, despite the fact that they're somewhat stupid, they are smart enough to use weapons, gun included, and plan well enough. I quickly changed into Ignis without anyone seeing it, well if they did saw, they just assumed it was just the beer that they drank.

I now wears a purple and black patterned dress shirt with a black suit and black shiny, red-soled shoes. He wears shimmery silver driving gloves. I also wears glasses and has short, light ash brown hair swept up at the front of my hairline and green eyes. I stood up and walked to the humans, "Hello gentlemen, I couldn't help but overheard about the problems you are facing. I believe I can help you with your money problems."

Peter and his pals looked at me with caution, and one of his friends spoke to me, "Oh, and how exactly will you help us with our money problems?"

"Why that's simple, my boss sent me to this arena to locate potential gunmen to work for him. He is willing to pay 20 thousand a month if you work for him." They eye-widen at the amount of money they earn. They huddled around each other and started whispering to each other about the payment, least from I overhear about it.

They split apart, and stood in front of me, their expression desperate for money, "Okay, since we are in a bind, and in desperate need of money, we will take this job."

I smiled at them, "Very good, you will locate my boss in this location, be there in an hour, or you won't get the job, understand?" I pull out a envelop and give them it while they nodded, taking the envelop and taking off, hoping to get the job.

One of them had asked. "Though even if we do get the job, how will we know that its not a trick or a scam?" he furrowed his brows at me in suspicious. It seems that he did bring out a good point but luckily, I had something to deal with whenever this topic came up.

"It's quite simple my good friends, you see this is a new corporation that is coming up in a few weeks. I'll give you a little hint." I beckoned them to come closer which they leaned forward. "You'll never know who's going to come for you whenever there is a big shot around this place, I even heard that there's a chance that multiple faction are starting to take actions."

That got them convinced by words, they stepped back and nodded. Seeming to agree with my little gossip, heh. Too easy if I say so myself. "Alright gentlemen, I'll take my leave now. Better take my offer when you think about it."

"We will."

"oh! Before I would leave, I would like to know where I could 'avoid' the orcs. They are almost everywhere and its bad news when I'm near them. Not that I'm scared or afraid of but just to make sure." They nodded and pointed to a group of orcs, six of them, sitting by the railing, drinking beers, and smoking.

I smirked and thanked them while I walked away from them. I quickly changed into Gladiolus when I was far away from them and went straight to the orcs. One of the orcs noticed me and subtlety warn his friends by tapping one of them and pointing at me. "The hell do you want, human? No one sane enough would want to meet with us unless they want to hire us for a job."

I crossed my arms, making myself looked bigger and started leaking my daemonic powers to them, making them eye-widen and stiffen as they stood up straight. I smirked, "Simple, my boss is forming his own criminal groups and he wants you orcs as his first members of his groups."

The orcs nodded, afraid of upsetting me. Good, don't need them to do anything except obeying me. But they aren't so useless, considering women like Oboro and people like her, they might be good at destroying their will so I can rebuild the. Hey, while I hate rape by a huge margin, women like Oboro being rape, I can tolerate it for a bit.

I also informed them of something else. "You see gentleman, he is also starting a new company and constructing a building for his cooperation. But he will have some enemies, like the Taimanin and Nomad coming after him and he cannot allow that."

"Well you already have us for the job but what are you telling us?"

"Oh it's simple, very very simple." I leaned forward to the orcs. "He knows as well as I do some of them involve with you people."

"(GULP)!" One of them gulped as the orc sweats.

"Whenever you get the chance, meet with some of the orcs you know from different gangs. And show them these." I pulled out a suitcase from my storage, unlocked it and opened it, revealing cash in it which made them awe at the site of it but also with greediness. "He wants to make a deal with them, providing them a business deal you can say." Just as they were about to reach it. I slammed the case hard making them flinch. "There is something else you would want to know, my boss is cautious you know, so he put in a special spell on it that if you were to try even steal the money, then have a look at the consequences."

I pointed at a random slut Taimanin making them glance at her with confusion before it turned to horror.

"Doom."

A claw came out of the portal and grabbed her soul before disappearing, making her fall to the ground an instant, they literally saw her soul getting pulled by death. A few people screamed at what just happened. The orcs were paled at what happened even when medics came out to check on the Taimanin slut. "I believe you now know what would happen if you disappointed me, correct?" I gave the orcs a glare that made them nodded rapidly.

"Good, now I am going to give you this envelop that contain direction to the location my boss wants to meet you at. You need to get there within a hour but if you don't, my boss will assume you don't need the money. I really suggest getting your asses in gear and get moving." The orcs quickly ran from me, taking the envelop and past the medics who place the now dead Taimanin on a stretcher and took her corpse away. I laugh a little and turn back into my original form and left the arena.

50 Minutes Later

I was talking to Kale about my trips to the Arena, I was starting to like her somewhat. Despite the sudden marriages, she actually knows a lot about the world. She told me that the reasons why was because some of her sisters and cousins often went to the human world and came back with knowledge of it. She actually went to the human world to find a 'strong' husband, strong being the keyword since Amazon demons often went to the human world to find husband and bring him back to her home to live there.

But her capture pretty much ruined that, since in the culture of the amazons, being captured by someone after being defeated in combat is essentially cause for exile. However, if she defeat a powerful person, like a Taimanin that is powerful, she can return home. Damn, that's rough even for me.

I told her I will find someone that will prove a challenge for her. Needless to said, she kissed me and hugged me to her chest, making me feel her giant breasts. I mentally giggled like pervert before reluctantly ripped myself from her chest.

"Alright Kale, I'll have some guest tonight and I wa-"

"Oh! Should I greet them husband? I'll make sure our guest is satisfied." she said cheerfully.

I deadpanned at her. "No,I want you to stay hidden for some time now and before you would refuse." I put my hand up, stopping her from interuptting me again. "This is important for me to handle alone, if you're there then it would make things a bit complicated and I'm not taking any chances Kale so please."

"I...understand husband." she frowned before nodding her head to me, acknowledging my decision.

"Good, I expect you too." Sastified with her answer, I suddenly stood up straight for a second before I straighten my collar. "It seems our guest is here now."

The reason I stood up straight was because one of the daemons I send out to look for the groups I hired was here. It poof itself away to send that message to me. I walked to the railing above the entrance to the warehouse.

The door opened aside, with the orcs and humans walking in, glaring at each other. "Why the hell are you? I bet the only reasons you're here as if Nomad put you up for it." Peter told the orcs, which one of them replied in response,

"Shut up you faggots! One of the boy our new employer send to hired us has demonic powers, insanely fucking powerful demonic energy at that." One of the orcs shivered in fear at the display, I (Gladiolus) used my powers to killed the servant girl without many problems.

I was above them when they stopped just below the railing. Deciding to mess with them, I summoned my sniper rifle, spinning it around before firing it above me. They jumped, and some pulled out their guns, looking around to looked for the one who fired that shot. I smirked at them from above, "Hello boys, I am Ardyn Inzunia, your new boss."
