Chapter 8: Destined Battle At The Lake Shore
Hamtaro and Serena are still walking around. They appeared to be near a lake. Then they hear a noise. Hamtaro saw Discord driving away with the trophies of Sakura Haruno, Yusuke, and Keroro. Discord did not see him though.
Hamtaro: It's Discord! What is he up to?
He turns to Serena.
Hamtaro: Sorry, but I gotta go! I gotta see what he is up to!
And he ran off.
Serena: Wait, Hamtaro!
Then she hears something behind her. She turns around and gasps.
Serena: FRIEZA!
Frieza: It's been awhile, princess.
He fires his Dark Cannon.
Serena: Oh no! Goku...
Serena was turned into a trophy.
Frieza: Now I will take you to our base. OK, Shadow Bugs. Clone her and get rid of Goku.
The Dark Frieza appears and it breaks into purple liquid and engulfs Serena. Meanwhile, on another path, Goku and Seiya are running across the field, trying to find Vegeta.
Seiya: Goku, do you know where were going?
Goku: My guess is to the Ham-Ham Clubhouse. Hamtaro must have brought her there to protect her. I gotta see if she is OK.
But while they were running, a Dark Serena appears with a Dark Cannon. She aims at Goku and begins to charge up her gun. But before she could fire...
?: RASENSHURIKEN!
A Rasenshuriken appears and slashes the cannon in half, which explodes, and the Sailor Scout skids back. She turns around to see who did that. It was Naruto. He used his Rasenshuriken to chop up the cannon.
Naruto: I can tell you're not the real Serena!
He got into his position. Twilight joins him.
Twilight: We'll stop you, faker! And then we'll find the real Serena!
The Dark Serena charges at them, but they leapt out of the way. Twilight uses Firaga, while Naruto uses Rasengan, doing some damage to Dark Serena. Dark Serena uses Moon Tiara Action on Naruto and Twilight, doing some damage to them. Twilight uses Thundaga, while Naruto uses Shadow Clone Jutsu to attack Dark Serena with his clones. They both did some more damage to her, but she uses Supersonic Wave on them, doing some damage to them, and taking out the Naruto clones. Naruto then uses Big Ball Rasengan on Dark Serena, knocking her out. The Dark Serena trophy fell to the ground.
Twilight: Is it over?
Naruto: Yeah, it's over. But why would Orochimaru make a clone of Serena?
But Naruto did not notice Goku, who spots them. He has stopped dead in his tracks and looked in shock.
Goku: Oh no!
Seiya: What?
Seiya stops too. He looks as well to see Naruto and Twilight over the Serena trophy. The Serena trophy turns into purple liquid and disappears.
Goku: Serena...Serena...No...
Goku watches in horror as he watches his loved one disappear. Then a mighty rage erupts within him.
Goku: NARUTO! THAT MURDEROUS TRAITOR! HE'S GOING TO PAY!
Hearing his shout, Naruto turns to see Goku charging at him in top speed and leaps up in the air, ready for a massive punch, but Naruto dodges out of the way in time, as Goku's fist hits the ground.
Naruto: Why are you attacking me, Goku?
Goku: DON'T PLAY DUMB! YOU KILLED SERENA!
Naruto: Uh-oh! He must have mistaken that fake Serena for the real Serena. That moron!
Seiya ran across the field to join Goku.
Seiya: What you've done is unforgiveable! Now you're gonna pay, Naruto!
Twilight joins Naruto.
Twilight: Looks like we have no other choice! We have to fight them, Naruto!
Naruto: Right! Maybe they'll understand.
Goku activates Kaio-Ken x10 to cover himself in red aura and increase his powers, while Seiya summons his Sagittarius Cloth and puts on the golden armor to increase his powers. Naruto activates his Sage Mode to turn his pupils yellow and increase his powers. Twilight activates her Rainbow Power Form to make her mane and wings grow longer and increase her powers. Goku flew towards Naruto and tried to punch him again, but Naruto blocks the punch.
Naruto: You idiot! Don't you understand? That's not Serena!
Goku: Shut up, blondie! You're just jealous because my Serena is better than Sakura!
Naruto: Shut up, you monkey! Don't you dare talk about Sakura like that!
Naruto pushed Goku back. Goku skids back and fires some ki energy spheres at Naruto, who dodges them and uses Shadow Clone Jutsu to create many clones again. They then used Rasengan Barrage to create a series of Rasengan and attack Goku, doing some damage to him. Goku then uses Kiai to knock back all the Naruto clones, destroying them. Seiya uses Atomic Thunderbolt to fire multiple energy spheres like the Pegasus Meteor Fist at Twilight, but she blocks the attacks with her magic barrier. Goku then activates his Kaio-Ken x20 to increase his powers even more.
Naruto: He has become more powerful! I better transform too!
Naruto transforms into his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to engulf his body in golden aura. Goku uses Kaio-Ken x20 Kamehameha to fire a more powerful Kamehameha at Naruto, while Seiya pulls out his Sagittarius Bow and fires a Sagittarius Arrow at Twilight, but Naruto and Twilight dodges their attacks. Naruto uses Planetary Rasengan to create a Big Ball Rasengan with three smaller Rasengan and threw it at Goku, creating a tornado sending him down to the ground, while Twilight fires her Rainbow Beam at Seiya, doing alot of damage to him. Both attacks created huge explosions and the trophy forms of Goku and Seiya fell down and landed on the ground. Naruto and Twilight reverts back to their normal forms and looks at them in pity.
Naruto: I guess I overdid it. Sorry, Goku. But you left us with no choice.
?: Well, well, what's this? You two did well during that battle.
Discord drove in at that moment. Naruto saw what was in the truck as he saw the Sakura Haruno trophy.
Sakura H.: Naruto...HELP!
Naruto: SAKURA!
Discord drove around and uses the crane to grab Goku and Seiya.
Twilight: Hey, come back here, Discord!
Discord: Sorry, Twilight. But these are my presents for my castle.
Suddenly, Hamtaro appears.
Hamtaro: That's what you think, Discord!
Discord: HAMTARO!
Hamtaro uses Blaze Kick to break the crane and revives Goku and Seiya.
Goku: Hamtaro?
Hamtaro: I'll explain after we stop Discord!
Discord growls and tried to make a break for it until Seiya fires his Pegasus Comet Fist at the truck, slowing it down, and making it smoke, but he still got away. Hamtaro explains everything to Goku and Seiya what happened. Naruto and Twilight also listens.
Seiya: So that was a fake Serena?
Hamtaro: Yeah. Frieza has kidnapped the real Serena and cloned her. She was about to turn you into trophies until Naruto and Twilight stopped her.
Goku: So we blamed him for nothing?
He turns to Naruto.
Goku: Naruto, I am sorry. I did not know that Serena was fake. I am willing to help you rescue Sakura.
Naruto: Hey, no worries, Goku. And I'm sorry that my anger got the best of me as well. Now let's go save Sakura!
Goku and Naruto shook hands.
Hamtaro: Come on! Let's follow Discord!
Goku, Naruto, Hamtaro, Seiya, and Twilight ran after Discord. Along the way, they got attacked by some Mites, Tickens, and small black enemies with bombs for heads called Bombeds. The Bombeds threw their bomb heads at the gang, but they easily dodged their attacks. Goku fires ki energy spheres at the Mites, Naruto uses Rasengan on the Tickens, and Hamtaro uses Flamethrower on the Bombeds. They took out the enemies and went up to a big platform.
Seiya: I wonder what that big platform is for.
The gang went up to the platform and it starts floating up. Suddenly, they got ambushed by more Bombeds. Seiya uses Pegasus Meteor Fist on them, while Twilight uses Firaga to make them blow up. After the Bombeds were taken out, a Greap and some Spaaks appeared. Goku uses Kiai on the Spaaks, while Naruto threw his Rasenshuriken at the Greap's head. After taking out the enemies, the platform starts to shrink.
Twilight: Is it me, or is the platform shrinking?
The gang looks around the platform.
Hamtaro: I think it is shrinking! Let's get out!
Before they could jump off the platform, they saw some Saibamen flying towards them.
Goku: Now we're fighting some Saibamen? We better take them out first!
Hamtaro uses Flame Burst to take out all the Saibamen. The gang jumps down the platform and proceeds forward. They go through a tunnel with platforms that go up and down and some more enemies like the Bucculus, Jyks, and Mites. Seiya uses Pegasus Comet Fist on the Bucculus, while Twilight fires her Harmony Beams at the Mites. They took out the enemies, dodged the Jyks, and proceed to a cave. The truck was parked outside.
Hamtaro: I know this sounds strange, but apart from Sakura, I saw Keroro and Yusuke in there as well.
Goku: What? Keroro and Yusuke are trophies too?
Naruto: More reasons for us to help them.
Seiya: Let's go inside.
The gang went inside the cave, where they got ambushed by black humanoid shadows with a red core and carrying two blades called Shaydas.
Twilight: What are those things?
Goku: I don't know, but they look pretty tough.
Goku pulls out his Power Pole. The Shaydas attack with their blades, but Goku blocks their attacks with his Power Pole. He then hits their cores with his Power Pole, taking them out. The gang jumps down a pit, which takes them to a minecart. They ride the minecart until it lands on the pond, making them all get out. They jumped on some platforms and took out some Feyesh along the way. They keep jumping up the platforms until they reached the ledge and got in, where they saw molten rocks going up and down. They dodged the molten rocks and proceed to the next room, where there is a key and three doors.
Seiya: Well, there are three doors and a key. Which door are we gonna open?
Hamtaro uses his ears to listen to the doors. He hears a sound in the top door.
Naruto: Do you know which door it is, Hamtaro?
Hamtaro: Yes. It's the top one.
Hamtaro grabs the key and opens the top door. The gang went through the top door, where they got attacked by a Shayda. Hamtaro uses Flame Wheel on the core, taking it out. The gang proceeds to a wall with a Bomb Block. Naruto uses Rasengan on the block and it explodes, making a path for the gang. They proceed through the tunnel until they got ambushed by more Feyesh, Tickens, and Shaydas. Twilight uses Thundaga on the Feyesh, Seiya uses Pegasus Meteor Fist on the Tickens, and Goku uses Kamehameha on the Shaydas. After taking out all the enemies, the gang made it out of the cave and saw Discord's Castle on a cliffside.
Seiya: So that's Discord's Castle?
Twilight: Right. We have to get there before Frieza does.
Naruto: Yeah, and I have a feeling that Orochimaru is behind all of this.
Goku: What? First Crocodile, then Frieza, and now Orochimaru? What is this? The bad guys' reunion?
Hamtaro: We should go in there and rescue our friends.
They made their way to the castle. Unknown to them, the Battleship Maximus is approaching. Meanwhile, in a secret lab, a dark figure is talking to Frieza, who is on screen.
Frieza: Hey Orochimaru. We got Serena. Now where can I find Sakura Haruno?
The figure named Orochimaru points to a map on the screen.
Orochimaru: You may find her at Discord's Castle. And make sure Goku and Naruto don't get to them first. Then you can play with the Straw Hat Pirate and the Autobot Supreme Commander.
Frieza: Right! Let's go, troops!
Frieza left with the Frieza Force following him. Orochimaru is a pale ninja with long black hair, wearing a white shirt, and black pants. He smiles evilly.
Orochimaru: It won't be long now.
That's it for chapter 8. Next time, Gon and Yugi will get their revenge on Crocodile in the desert.
