A small version of Red-Eyes appeared trying to roar but only succeeding in chirping cutely.
"Cutie!" Blair gushed at that with Nanako just as excited but didn't call out.
"Glad you girls like him, but my baby dragon isn't just adorable he packs a punch." Atticus grinned. "I activate the spell Dragon's Gunfire."

The Dragon charged a blast firing it at Yubel which she didn't move taking the blast straight on with closed eyes, and a smirk. (Jesse/Yubel: 3200/Hand: 5)
"But like all infants there potential is much to be desired..." Yubel smirked with closed eyes not impressed from the little fireball that little lizard had done.
"We'll see, I set one card facedown and end my move." Atticus finished.

"Now that that's done..." Yubel drew looking at her hand before activating a spell, "A card you should be familiar with. A continuous spell known as Opening of the Spirit Gates!"
The same spell she used as Marcel rose in front of her.

"Ah man, Atticus watch out, you know how tough those things are!" Yosuke warned Atticus.
"I know." Atticus mentioned.
"Well let's keep things going with another Continuous Spell called, Cerulean Skyfire!" Yubel activated a second card showing Hamon attacking.

Surprised everyone else watched as Yubel's set cards were revealed to be Fires of Doomsday, and Sekka's Light before they, and Cerulean Skyfire itself turned to ice flying behind her as she raised the card, "So now, rise, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!"
At that a large ice crystal rose before breaking apart revealing Hamon roaring.

Yubel pulled a card from her graveyard with a smirk showing Cerulean Skyfire again before activating it, "For you see, since a Level 10 monster is on my field, Opening of the Spirit Gates allows me to take a Continuous Spell from my graveyard back to my hand. So Cerulean Skyfire is back in action!"

"And now Hamon attack that little lizard! Cerulean Skyfire!"
Hamon charged lightning as a storm cloud appeared above before lightning fired down at Red-Eyes Baby Dragon. Atticus braced himself as his monster shattered.

"And here is Hamon's special ability." Yubel smirked to Atticus, "Whenever he destroys your monster in battle, and sends it to the graveyard, you take 1000 more points of damage. Let him have it!"
Hamon sent out a second bolt of lightning at Atticus. He cried out as the lightning hit him.

"Atticus! Are you okay!?" Alexis cried worried for her brother.
"I've been better, but my dragon has it's own ability. Since Red-Eyes Baby Dragon was destroyed I can summon a level seven or lower Red-Eyes from my deck and equip Baby Dragon to it, so I'll bring out out the original Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" Atticus called as his ace monster appeared roaring.

The dragon charged a blast firing at Yubel only for her to smirk as Hamon intercepted the blast surprising them as she explained in her voice, "A good try, but due to the effect of Cerulean Skyfire, by changing Hamon to Defense Position, it negates the effect of a spell or trap card you use."

"By sending it to the graveyard after equipping it to my dragon, I can target any effect monster in play and that monster is equipped to my Slash Dragon in its place. Then my monster's attack and defense become the original points of whatever monster I equipped to it."
He then grinned. "Or if you need a more visual example, I send Red-Eyes Fang with Chain to the graveyard and equip Red-Eyes Slash Dragon with Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!"
Chains from the trap shot grabbing Hamon who roared struggling while Yubel watched on surprised before Hamon was pulled transforming into Hamon-oriented themed gear equipping onto Slash Dragon.

"So if he used Chain earlier, Yubel would've stopped it with Cerulean Skyfire so Atticus while dealing huge damage, would've been at a serious disadvantage." Zane said seeing this.
"But he only has 200 Life Points, and the regular Red-Eyes's points aren't high enough against one of the others." Chazz pointed out staring at this, "Unless Atticus has a strong plan, the next beast she'll summon will be her last."
"But hold on, she needs three traps to summon Uria right, and that would only give it 3000 points which means it isn't strong enough and she doesn't have a way to play four monsters in one turn so he's safe isn't he?" Chie asked.
"Exactly, I end my turn." Atticus grinned.

She shuffles the Deck before placing it back, and drew, "Then I draw 1 card." She looked before smirking, "And I summon Dark Beckoning Beast!"

"Actually, it is over." Atticus mentioned drawing his card. "I'll admit, you scared me for a second but this duel's over. Red-Eyes Slash Dragon attack Raviel, Lord of Phantasms and when Slash Dragon battles I can equip a warrior in my graveyard and equip it to Slash Dragon to give him 200 more points and guess what my Gearfried just so happens to be."

"Destroy Raviel!"
The Slash Dragon charged in as Raviel watched as Slash Dragon slashed it's talons down destroying Raviel while Yubel watched. (Jesse/Yubel: 3000/Hand: 1) Cerulean Skyfire glowed upon Raviel's destruction but nobody else except Yubel noticed.
"Now to finish this and get Jesse back. Red-Eyes Black Dragon finish Yubel off with Inferno Fire Blast!"
Black Dragon charged a second blast firing at Yubel who only watched as suddenly the pieces of the destroyed Raviel flew up in front of Yubel blocking the attack.
"What?" Atticus questioned.
"Raviel doesn't have that ability!" Chazz argued.
"True, but my Spell has a extra effect." Yubel smirked as they finally noticed Cerulean Skyfire has an effect active. "If a Sacred Beast on my field left the field, I take no further damage this turn."
"First summons Hamon easier, then negates the effect of a Spell or Trap card, and now blocks damage?" Axel asked with gritted teeth, "Is there anything a Sacred Beast Deck can't do?"
"Well the Investigation Team were selected to guard it for a reason." Adrian pointed out.
"I have to end my turn." Atticus frowned.

"That's true." Bastion agreed. "Perhaps she misplayed?"
Yubel only smirked. "You honestly think Armityle, the Chaos Phantasm is my ONLY Phantasm monster of the Sacred Beasts?" That shocked them as she said, "Under my power with the Twilight of Virtue there true power has been unlocked. So with Uria on my field, and Raviel in my graveyard, I also banish from my hand," She threw the card up as it formed, "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms - Shimmering Scrapper!"
At that a different Raviel was formed while Raviel from her graveyard, and Uria from her field all flew up turning to block smoke together before forming together.
"Another Raviel?" Yukiko cried in shock.
"So now emerge from the depths of Chaos! Appear, Phantasm Emperor Trilojig!"
At that what rose was a large purple armored fiend with glowing yellow eyes, and encrested gems, and armor plates on it's body.

"So now after targeting Slash Dragon this duel's over!" Yubel called as Trilojig fired a large dark orb in between it's hands, and shot it at Atticus.
The blast hit as Atticus cried out getting sent flying back.

"And that's number two." Yubel smirked in her voice before healing herself.
"Great, anybody have any bright ideas?" Chazz questioned.
Jaden only stared before walking forward, "Yubel!"
"So you've finally decided to face me yourself Jaden?" Yubel asked. "I've been waiting for such a long time."
"Leave everyone else alone! I'm the one you want!"
"So true." Yubel smirked to Jaden, "Well, if your eager to face me yourself, I got no objections. But not here in this location," she turned as the large gate opened, and said to him with a smirk, "Follow me." She walked into the gate.
"Jaden wait, you can't fight her by yourself." Alexis told him.
"I have too Alexis... no one else here knows more about her then me... And I was the one responsible to why she's acting this way." Jaden said to her looking down.
"Even if that's true, you're not going by yourself." Teddie told him. "We're going with you because we're you friends."
"He's right, we might not be able to defeat Yubel but we can be there to support you." Syrus agreed.
Jaden turned over to everyone hearing that. Nearly all of them had encouraging smiles but Chazz, Zane, and Aster didn't though he could tell they were going to support him. He gave a short smile back nodding before saying, "Alright... let's free Jesse all together."
"Right." Yukiko smiled as they all followed Yubel through the gate.
Eventually throughout they find Yubel on a large chair looking like she's waiting with her head being supported by an arm on one of the arms of the chair with a smirk.
"Yubel..." Jaden whispered seeing her.
"Alright Jaden, I hope your ready to receive all the pain you had caused me. And this time nothing will stand in between." Yubel smirked standing up walking down some steps that materialized before she, and Jaden walked to either side looking at each other.
"Right here Yubel, I will make sure that your Twilight of Virtue will be purified from the Light of Destruction." Jaden said to her.
"And how you propose to do that?"
"I don't know, but I will find some way!" Jaden said activating his Duel Disk, "So go ahead, and get your game on Yubel!"
Yubel only smirked pulling the Deck out of her Duel Disk before changing it with the Advanced Crystal Beast Deck as it activated smirking at Jaden who stared determined.
"Does Jaden-san have a chance against Yubel, and the Advanced Crystal Beasts?" Teddie asked worried.
They watched before calling, "DUEL!"
bopdog111: Chapter isn't short but definitely could've have better events after the match. But not to worry the final battle with Yubel, and possible finale to the Dimension World Arc is next chapter.
Ulrich362: True, but even if they do defeat Yubel there are still several threats left... including one that's been hanging over their heads for a long time.
