Danny stared in disbelief at the small light blue creature right in front of him. He was very small and floating mid-air about a foot away from Danny's face. On top of his head was a large dorsal fin, as the fin went up it started to become a more navy blue until the point.

He had four limbs that resembled flippers. And a long tail that had a caudal fin on the end, like a shark. Something else that also caught Danny's attention was Finn's large eyes. They had bright yellow irises with a black cat-like slit pupil down the middle. The whites of the eye were dark blue in colour instead of being the normal white.

"...I'm Danny." He introduced back, finally registering that the creature had just introduced himself. "Are you… some kind of ghost or something?" He tilted his head looking at the small creature.

Finn grinned happily with a toothy smile. His teeth were extremely sharp, once again very similar to sharks. "No, I'm not a ghost. I'm a Kwami." He tossed his hand flippers to the side. "And now, I'm your kwami." He explained, also speaking in English instead of french Danny quickly realized.

Danny raised an eyebrow. "Kwami?" He had never heard of them before.

Finn spun around in the air in a circle around Danny. "Kwami's are magical beings that can grant their holders magical powers." He gestured to himself. "I am the kwami of the Shark. And I have been entrusted to you by one of the oldest guardians ever known." He did a flip in the air. "Isn't that exciting!"

Danny smiled at the kwami's fun personality before raising an eyebrow. "So you make people into superheroes?" He asked.

"Yes. With that magical piece of jewelry you have there." He pointed to the box that was still open in Danny's hand. He had forgotten about it for a second. He looked back down and then lifted up higher to look at it closely.

It was a shiny black box, and it had an intricate blue pattern on the top. The inside was coated in a blue silk fabric. And laying in that fabric was what appeared to be a shark tooth tied to a blue string. Danny carefully pulled it out and examined it. It was a necklace of some kind.

"It's a miraculous." Finn explained. "All you would have to do is say the trigger words and you would transform."

"Trigger words?"

"It's the words you need to say to activate your powers. 'Finn deep dive.' And you would transform. Oh, and 'resurface' if you want to go back to being human."

Danny looked back up at Finn with a light smile on his face. Is this what clockwork wanted him to do? Could this be his chance to still help people even if he couldn't use his core? Was Clockwork was giving him the opportunity he needed? "So, this… Miraculous. -You. Can give me powers that can help people?"

He paused. But what if anyone recognized him? What if anyone would be able to find him! How would he be able to protect people if he was on a dissection table? "Can it hide my identity?" He asked weakly. "No one can tell it's me?"

Finn nudged Danny's hand slightly in a comforting motion to help calm him down. He could tell he was starting to panic about this whole thing. "The miraculous were designed to help people all over the world. But that also means hiding the identities of the heroes in case bad people wanted to take advantage of them. They are designed with magic that makes it nearly impossible for someone to recognize you, even someone you have known for years." Finn reassured the boy. "That is unless you make it blatantly obvious." He smiled.

Danny lifted up the shark tooth necklace out of the case and put it around his neck. The moment it was on his body, the blue string turned into a much thicker black one. The tooth also turned silver and shiny. Making it look like it was made of solid metal. "So cool." He commented.

"You ain't seen nothing yet. Try it out."

Danny looked at the kwami and then back down at himself as if he was making sure it was okay. "Finn... Deep Dive?" He said unsure.

Suddenly Finn turned into a ball of light and was sucked into the shark tooth around Danny's neck. Danny stumbled back surprised when he was enveloped in a bright flash of blue light. Not unlike his Phantom transformation.

When he opened his eyes again he realized that Finn was nowhere to be seen. But something else was difant too. He was covered head to toe in a blue suit that was strangely comfortable despite how it looked. It also had navy blue boots and gloves up to his elbows and knees. Danny looked down at his hands and quickly noticed that they had sharp claws on them. His eyes widened as he turned his hands over. Also noticeing that there was also webbing in between his fingers.

Danny gasped; he felt something weird with his lungs. He quickly reached up to his neck and realized that he had gills. He froze for a second. Gills! He quickly sucked in a deep breath just to check if he could still breathe. To his relief, he could breathe in just fine. Maybe the gills meant that he could breathe underwater and on land? "Woah."

Danny also quickly noticed that he had a short dorsal fin on his back. Probably shortened so that it wouldn't get in the way of any fights. He had similar fins on his side and two short ones on the edge of his legs. Danny felt his core hum with excitement.

He put his hand onto his hip only to notice that he had a dark blue utility belt around his waist. The first thing on his belt was some kind of hooked dagger. He pulled it out and held it in his hand. The blade looked like it was made of pearl with multiple engravings on it. Danny quickly noticed that it was practically weightless. He had never really used a dagger in a battle so he would have to train with it to use it properly. Maybe he could ask Finn for some pointers.

The other thing on the belt was really, well… interesting, to say the least. It looked to be the same material as the blade of the dagger. Only instead it was just a handle. There was nothing else on it. Danny swung it through the air a couple times to see if it would do anything, nadda. He put it back on his hip carefully. For some reason, it seemed that the utility belt made the weapons stick like a magnet.

After a couple seconds Danny decided to walk out of the Alley. He wanted to see his reflection, see what he looked like. After he was sure no one was going by he walked out and looked in the nearest shop window at his reflection. He stood wide-eyed for a second taking his new look in. The first thing he noticed was his ears. Now instead of rounded ears like a humans, these ones seemed more like pointed elf ears. He also quickly discovered he could move them by themselves and they also reacted with his expressions. Pinning against his head and perking up when he smiled.

He laughed slightly. He also leaned forward to get a better look closer to the window. He raised his hand up and pulled back his lip to reveal a row of very sharp teeth. Very similar to Finn's. Instead of being like vampire fangs all of them were the same length. When he would open and close his mouth they would interlock together perfectly. "Top that Plasmius." He commented with a smug grin, putting down his hand.

The last thing was his eyes. Around his eyes was a small domino mask. It was blue with two lips on either side up near the corners of his eyes, pointed upwards. The other thing was that his eyes were now transformed into the same ones as Finn's, Bright yellow with the black vertical slit. The rest of his eyes were dark blue. "This is so awesome."

"Let's try something here," Danny said to himself. He went back into the Alley and jumped up grabbing onto the railing of the fire escape. Just as Danny expected, he had enhanced strength as well. He pulled himself up until he was standing on the top of the railing before leaping again. This time grabbing onto the lip of the roof. He pulled himself up quickly before landing on his feet.

When Danny was on the top of the building he could finally see most of the city. It was beautiful, very different from his hometown. The first thing he noticed was the Eiffel Tower itself! He was in France! Why didn't he figure it out sooner? He had never been to France before, heck he had never really been anywhere outside of Amity before.

He took a few steps forward to the edge of the building. "How about we take a closer look." Danny hoped that Finn could hear when Danny spoke to him. He would have to ask later. He spun around and leaped across between two buildings. Landing while running slightly to catch himself.

"Wow, defiantly faster." He commented. He narrowed his eyes before taking another running leap across to the next rooftop. That landing was a little better than his first. He also quickly noticed that this 'miraculous' made it easier for balance and agility.

The more he ran the easier it seemed to travel across. He was surprised when no one had looked up at him yet. Despite how early it was there were still tons of people out. But then again most people don't often look up in their day-to-day lives.

Normally when Danny traveled around town he preferred to be invisible. People would either call the Fentons or run away screaming when they saw him. There were a select few who were interested in him and would like to follow him around trying to ask questions. But sometimes that ended up getting in the way of the fights as they would run towards the danger, instead of away from it.

After Danny had run about five blocks from where he had started he decided to sit down on the edge of one of the buildings. From there he could get a full view of the Eiffel tower. He sat down for about 10 minutes just thinking to himself.

What could he do next? Where will he live? Sure he has his obsession problem figured out now, with this miraculous thing. But how else will he survive? He pulled one of his legs up onto the other one, resting it across horizontally. He sighed and put his elbow on his leg and rested his chin on it with a sigh.

Suddenly Danny's ears perked up. Someone was talking-, two people were talking. A boy and a girl. He sprung to his feet and turned around just as two people landed on the roof. One of them had blond hair and a full-body black catsuit. His eyes were like Danny's only green instead of Yellow.

The girl was wearing a full-body red suit with black spots on it. She was also holding a red and black yoyo in her hand. Both of them had confused looks on their faces. And Danny did two. He had never seen these people before. But it also looked like they had similar suits to him. Did these people have miraculous too?

Danny put his hand at his side right above his dagger. He had no idea if these people were bad or not. The boy held onto a silver staff and the girl spun the yoyo around defensively. "Who are you?" She asked with a stern tone.

Quick note. Finn does not know that Danny is a halfa yet. Only that he was given to him by clockwork. ;)

I will be posting an update for this story about once every 1-2 weeks. I am just posting this one early because I want to know what you guys think early before I write a lot more. I am so proud of this story and have big plans for it, especially lots of new things about the shark miraculous that make it very different from others. I have hinted at a couple of things in this chapter. :3 Hope you are all liking it. Please tell me what you think.
