While the morning for both Izuku and Barbara definitely had its ups and downs, they believe it's now safe to say that things are back on track. Well, with a slight hiccup on Barbara's end.

Luckily for Izuku, he made it to homeroom in just the nick of time for roll call. With the aid of Felicia, of course. Boy, was he ever grateful for her assistance. As for Babs, she'd managed to find her way there all on her own, having reserved a pair of desks for both her and Izuku near the back of the room. Y'all better believe she took the window seat!

Let her tell you, she'd been worried sick over Izuku and his little disappearing act, as from the moment he sat down with her upon his arrival, she promised she wouldn't let him out of her sight again from now on. She really needed her friend there. At least, for now until she got used to the place. Izuku assured that he wouldn't lose her again either after telling her his side of the story, but still, she was adament on keeping her personal promise.

After that, the morning continued on without another hitch. With Felicia's guidance between classes, the new students got to their other classes just fine and without getting lost again, the blonde having showed them all that she can about their new school along the way.

Now, this is where Babs' hiccup comes into play. During the very short breaks they had to get to their next classes, she didn't know how to feel about the young Hardy. Sure, she was thankful for the help, but something about how well she seemed to get along with Izuku just made her feel... not too good. Compared to her own newly formed friendship with the boy, it was like Felicia's bond with him had already surpassed their own somewhat. It's just that, with the way they seemed to casually flirt? every now and again had her rather... curious and perplexed. And kinda feeling like a third wheel. She pouted in annoyance at the conclusion. She came into his life first, damn it!

...Wait, what is she even thinking?

Anyway, while she doesn't know what had happened during their initial interaction to get them so close like that, something tells her that it wasn't all that innocent. Ultimately though, the things that were said and done between the two of them were all in good fun. However, that did not mean any of it hadn't bothered her.

Thankfully, lunch had come around. When it was time for Felicia to finally depart from their little trio, Barbara was, to say the least, relieved. Not to sound ungrateful or nothing, but she's glad to finally have her new best bud all to herself again. At least, for the time being..

As now, it was time to commence with phase 1 of!

Operation: Assemble!

In the cafeteria..

"Um, Barbara? You all right there? You're um... looking awfully intense all of a sudden." Said Izuku, anxiously observing as Babs was currently looking around at all the other students sitting in the cafeteria with seriously narrowed eyes. She sipped on a small milk carton she had gotten for herself, along with a dish of spaghetti and meatballs, and looked as if she was on a very important mission. Which in her eyes, she was.

"Oooh, don't you worry about me, bestie. I'm doing just fine. Trust me." Babs responded suspiciously after her drink, smirking rather mischievously.

"Er, ooookay then..." Izuku wasn't entirely convinced. Something was most definitely up with the redhead, that much is certain. But as to what exactly it is she's up to, he had no clue yet. Hoping to get a clear idea, he followed her gaze as she appeared to be looking out for someone, or some people.

After a few seconds, he found her gaze to be shifting from left to right across the room, deeply focused on four different people who were seated at other tables within their field of vision. Upon closer inspection, he immediately recognized three of them, but wasn't at all familiar with one of them.

First, there was Jessica. The latina who Barbara somewhat had an encounter with right after he had unintentionally ditched her. She appeared to be braiding some random girl's hair in the seat next to her, actually looking happy to do it for her. While Babs sort of knew who she was, Izuku didn't know a thing about her.

The second one was little Karen, who was contently reading a book whilst enjoying her own plate of pasta.

The third one was Kara, who looked to be minding her own business while chilling at her seat, her feet kicked up over the table.

Lastly, there was Zee, who was simply texting about on her phone.

The first question that came to Izuku upon taking in what he knows so far was, why is she so interested in these four particular girls? Then, it hit him. Of course! He had nearly forgotten what had happened with them earlier in the morning. Although, he could understand her interest in Kara, Karen and Zee. Jessica's situation was still unknown to him. But, he'll find out soon enough.

'Just what are you thinking, Babs?' He pondered as he returned his gaze to Barbara, who now stared intently at Kara after she had started laughing out of nowhere, seemingly at a joke told by one of those sitting with her.

He was about to receive an answer. But, not in the way he'd hoped..

Suddenly, he was struck with confusion upon seeing Barbara grab a handful of her pasta, her smirk morphing to that of a devious grin.

Then, the next thing Izuku knew, he sharply gasped as a sudden alarming ring echoed in his head, a powerful tingling sensation erupting throughout his brain. 'Oh, crap..' Whenever that happened to him, it only ever meant one thing.

All hell was about to break loose.

He had every right to start showing immense concern as he witnessed Barbara raise her food, looking as if she was about to... throw it? As for her target? It was Kara.

He was too late to prevent what happened next, as before he could voice out anything that would stop Barbara from carrying out her intentions, she had already launched her food at the blonde with a merciless toss when no one was looking. Doing so while whispering an ever so devilish, "Yeet."

Splat!

'AAAAH! What the hell, Barbara!' In a panic, the boy internally shrieked when the food had hit its target dead on, a victorious smile appearing on the redhead's lips. Now more than ever, he wondered just what in the heck Babs was thinking! What? No heads up for him at least?

With Kara, the sound of the food making contact with her face had echoed throughout the cafeteria, her head reeling back slightly from the impact as she was about to take a bite out of her burger. While it barely caused any pain, it was still a very annoying thing to have happen to her.

"What... the friggin'... hell!" Furious, she pulled the food from her face before looking to identify it. 'Spaghetti? Really!?' She thought angrily, snarling as she looked around to see who could've tossed it. Almost instantly, she believed to have found her attacker, Karen. Who was the first person she noticed eating pasta.

In the background, to which Kara barely paid any attention to, Barbara could be seen looking up towards the ceiling, nonchalantly sipping on her milk as if she had no part to play in the incident. When in reality, she was the catalyst for the disaster that's bound to ensue. Meanwhile, Izuku was hilariously agape, eyes widened and hands gripping at his hair.

'Oh, so you think I'm stupid, huh? Thought I wouldn't notice? Well then, think again, pipsqueak!' Hellbent on exacting revenge, Kara didn't hesitate to chuck her burger at the back of Karen's head, containing a lot of her true strength when doing so, but leaving enough to pack a punch.

"Ooow!" Karen screamed as her small frame literally flipped over her table, remnants of Kara's burger now sticking to areas of her hair and bumblebee sweater. "What did I do?" She whimpered as she tried getting back to her feet, rubbing her head where she was hit. Ouch! That really hurt..

By this point, the entire cafeteria had noticed the messy event.

"Ha! Serves you right, shorty! That'll teach you to think twice before screwing with me!" Kara shouted as she stood, arming herself with another burger as she wasn't done there. "And to make sure you understand that completely, take..." She reeled her throwing arm back.

"Why, Babs? Just... why?" Izuku inquired in distress, looking to the redhead in question grin with glee, not understanding what's come over her for her to act like this.

Karen didn't even have the chance to chime in further as her eyes immediately widened in horror when Kara tossed her second round, aiming straight for her face this time.

"THIS!" Kara cried as she propelled her 'weapon'.

'Looks like this is how I die..' Karen gulped, shaking in her position as she awaited the inevitable impact in slow motion.

But, it would never come..

"Haaa!" Out of nowhere, Karen was saved when Jessica opted to throw herself into the conflict, unable to sit back and watch as Karen gets needlessly hurt. Using a meal tray, Jessica acted fast and slapped the burger away before it could hit Karen, doing so with a mighty grunt.

"Hey, you!" Jessica pointed at Kara with the tray, who in response growled irritably. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size, huh? You big bully!" She huffed.

"What, you think I started this?!" Kara said in outrage. "You should be telling her to buzz off! She's the one who started it!" She added while pointing over at Karen. The timid girl squeaked in fear and bewilderment as she had no idea what the blonde was talking about.

Now little did any of them know, Jessica's actions did nothing to deescalate the situation. In fact, it only got much worse from there.

"My hair!" A voice suddenly exclaimed, interrupting their conversation and capturing their attention.

Upon looking to the voice's source, Jessica visibly cringed when she noticed she had hit the burger to someone else instead. Not that she meant to!

It was Zee who was the next victim, as the bunned meal had shot straight for her lovely violet locks when Jessica had so abruptly intervened, condiments of all sorts staining her hair.

"MY! PRECIOUS! HAIR!" Zee roared as she propped up to her feet, fury taking over her as she didn't intend to allow such a heinous crime to go unpunished. "I don't give a damn who started it! Someone is going to pay for this!" She promised before reaching for her milk and tossing it at Jessica, hitting her square in the face and earning herself a pained yelp from the brunette.

And now, phase 2. Barbara thought.

Jumping up on the table her and Izuku occupied, Barbara grabbed two more handfuls of food and officially declared this fight to be a...

"FOOOOD FIIIIGHT!"

After that, the scene that resulted in her warcry could only be described as delicious pandemonium. Food was flying around the room from all directions, the students were all cheering and laughing as they partaked in the chaos, and a huge mess was being made of the cafeteria.

All the while, Izuku was still seated in his spot at the table. A deadpanned look stuck on his face as he appeared to be paying no mind to all the madness going on around him, even as he was being smacked by food at random.

'What... just happened?' He questioned himself in disbelief.

It was at that moment a tomato went splat! on his face.

A/N: XD Oh God, I'm sorry. But I just had to end this one on that note. It was just too funny for me to resist. I meant this chapter to be longer, but again, just had to end this one there. Nooow, I swear next chapter will be longer. Lol I'm getting faster at this again, so y'all probably won't have to wait so long. :) I'll try not to keep you waiting too long anyway.
