Having regrouped after a restless Izuku and Babs were found excitedly standing around in the middle of the fair, trying to decide which ride or fun activity to try first, they were reminded by the other girls that the whole point of this trip was to show Diana a fun time together. So, much to their disappointment, Izuku and Barbara were reeled in.
Starting off small, the super teens stopped by the arcade to show Diana the many entertaining games it had to offer. The first game they opted to give a shot first was skee ball. It wasn't hard to explain skee ball to Diana as she caught on rather quickly. Her crazy strength was a concern initially, but after showing that she had excellent control over it, they needn't worry!
Being too deep in the zone at one point, the same can't be said for Kara as she wound up smashing a ball straight through her machine, the whole crew observing the hole made in shock for a moment before Izuku rushed them out of the arcade as people started to look. They didn't hesitate as they straight booked it outta there.
Yup, off to a great start.
Seeing as they've yet to have a proper meal since... well, lunch, the gang decided to buy themselves a snack. Determined to have Diana experience the one-of-a-kind taste of the glorious invention that is the pizza. Izuku bought the Amazon a slice and handed it to her with a smile, who in turn smiled back and accepted his offering.
Upon taking the first bite, Diana was instantly hooked as her eyes lit up like the fourth of july and she immediately inhaled her piece, devouring it down to the last crumb. It took the others some effort not to laugh at her adorable reaction. Come a moment later, Izuku was greeted to a suddenly shy Diana, the beauty timidly asking him if she could have another.
Izuku grinned as he gladly obliged.
It took six more slices before Diana's appetite was finally satiated.
Next, the teens went and gave the rollercoaster a whirl, with Izuku and Diana sitting in the front, followed by Kara and Babs, and lastly, Jessica and Karen. Zee insisted on sitting this one out as she didn't want to be seated alone or next to some stranger. She was cool with that. Plus, she did just eat. A fact that the others failed to take into consideration.
Going on the rollercoaster shortly after eating proved to be a big mistake on Diana's part, especially after how much she ate, as she found herself... releasing her prior meal into the nearest trash can as soon as their ride finished.
Curse all those loops and spirals..
Being the good friends they are, Jessica and Karen patted Diana's back for comfort while holding her hair back, the others doing their best to protect her dignity as they shielded her from any wandering eyes curious about her condition.
Despite her sickness, Diana was still smiling as she found it absolutely exhilarating in the end.
When Diana recovered, the crew eased up and took her on the carousel. It was a nice change of pace as the ride allowed them to really get silly, making fun little stances on their noble 'steeds' as they went around and around with Izuku leading the charge.
Izuku chuckled at seeing Diana really getting into the spirit.
Next up were the bumper cars. Boy, was that a wild experience for Izuku as at one point during their reckless, but hilariously fun, 'driving', he had gotten himself cornered by his female companions.
With playful wicked expressions, the girls ever so slowly approached the spider-boy as if they were hungry predators before relentlessly driving into him all at once. They laughed hysterically upon seeing how traumatized he was afterwards.
Playing some of the outdoor games next, they chose a rather competitive one as it had them pitted against each other to do one simple objective; Race to see who could pop their balloon first while shooting water into a clown's mouth! You know the one.
While it was a very close match between them all, Izuku ultimately came out on top as he cheered upon popping his balloon first, the girls only left to groan and flail in exasperation at their loss while clapping like the good sports they were.
As for his prize, Izuku decided on a cute little lion plush that looked like it needed a good owner. And he believed to know just the person who fit the role perfectly.
Color Diana surprised when Izuku approached with the little lion in hand, holding it out to her as he kindly asked her to take it.
Oh, she couldn't possibly do that, he won it fair and square, she replied with something along those lines. It wasn't up for debate as Izuku insisted she have it, doing so sweetly.
Left with no other choice, Diana didn't fight him as she took his gift and held it close to her heart, thanking him in a flushed manner.
She will cherish this gift... always, she thought to herself.
And so the fun continued with plenty more rides ridden, and games played!
However, where the party really got pumping was when they entered the arcade after a reasonable time had passed since Kara's incident. When spotting the latest version of 'Dance Dance Revolution', Barbara just had to play it with her bestie.
Confident in his dance skills, y'all better believe Spider-Man stepped up!
It didn't take long before they had earned themselves the attention of the entire pier, the music bumping throughout the arcade while Izuku and Babs danced skillfully to it. The hyped crowd cheered them on as their energetic and in sync moves got their moods rising. Their friends also cheering and dancing on the sidelines. Kara as well, surprisingly enough.
When the song ended, the duo bowed hand in hand as they had reached a perfect score, getting even more cheers and applause from their 'fans'.
To commemorate their blossoming friendship, the group ended their joyous time with a photobooth session. The pic that started it off was of Diana standing around cluelessly, the next one of Barbara and Karen joining in to bring the excitement.
By the end, the last photo was of all the girls yanking a startled Izuku into the booth.

"I said it once already, but I'll say it again. This is officially the best day ever!" Barbara squealed as her and the rest of the gang exited the pier. As much of a blast being there has been, they've had their fill of it for tonight. Yes, even Diana as she was all laughs and smiles now. Even more so when she had the plush Izuku won her hugged close to her chest.
Their mission was, without a doubt, complete!
"I hear that. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had so much fun before. Even back in Japan." Izuku said before slurping on a fountain drink he bought.
"Welcome to America, Greenie." Kara chuckled as she walked with her hands behind her head.
"Yeah, tonight has been a good time. Don't know if I'd call it the best day ever considering all that happened earlier in the day. But, it's up there now after what we just did." Karen commented brightly before consuming a pinch of her cotton candy.
"It certainly helped get our minds off of it all." Jessica said. "Most importantly though, I think it goes without saying that it most definitely helped Diana let loose. Isn't that right, Diana?" Jessica smiled.
"I do feel a sense of tranquility that I have never experienced before. It is as if the weight of all my past responsibilities and concerns were lifted completely. Is that what it means to... let loose?" The Amazon asked curiously.
"That's exactly what it means, Diana." Izuku answered. "See, told you had it in you." He chuckled, his words and the grin that came with them causing Diana to become flustered.
"I-I'm glad.." Diana grinned innocently, twirling a lock of her hair with a couple fingers.
"Yes, well, while I agree that this evening has been quite the riot. Do you wanna know what'll make it even better?" Zee smirked as she stopped moving, spreading her arm in front of the group to halt them also.
"Er, what?" Babs inquired.
Before speaking the big reveal, Zee snapped her fingers before pointing across the street nearest to the pier. The others followed her point and gasped upon seeing probably the most beautiful dairy cafe ever to be built! Well, except Diana as she had no idea what any of it was.
"Frosting~!" Zee singed.
"SWEET JUSTICE!" Kara, Jess and Karen cheered the cafe's name, obviously recognizing the place as they bolted over with Zee without warning or hesitation.
It was now Izuku and Barbara's turn to be left in the dust as them and a bewildered Diana remained outside, confused by all the fuss.
"Sheesh, rude much." Babs huffed as she waved the dust away, unaware that it's what she and her bestie deserved.
"I guess... we just follow them." Izuku stifled as he moved to enter the cafe while tossing his now empty drink in a nearby trash bin. Diana and Babs shrugged as they followed shortly after.
Little did they know of the impending doom headed their way..
A/N: I'm not usually a K-Pop kinda guy, but hell, even I gotta acknowledge how catchy BTS' "Dynamite" is. Really knows how to get me in a good mood. XD Plus, I thought it fit the scene I used with it rather well.
