Heathcliff: A former avatar of Sword Art Online. It is the avatar of Kayaba Akihiko. He was known as the most powerful player in SAO. Kirito and Asuna fought against him in the Room of Resurrection, and defeated him.
Kayaba Akihiko: The creator of NerveGear and Sword Art Online. His former avatar was called 'Heathcliff'. He is a brilliant scientist and strategist.
He fought against Asuna and Kirito in his avatar form, and was defeated. Afterwards, he entrusted the task to reviving himself and almost four thousand hearts of deceased players to the heroes. He encased his data into the Aincrad's Soul.
