#FromUltimateBeginnings

Starting the battle off strong, Supergirl flew ahead of her teammates to make the first strike. With a fierce glare, she shot her heat vision down at the front line, cutting some bots in half. Afterwards, she launched herself towards the bots in the back, leaving her friends some fun at the front.

Izuku jumped ahead next and venom smashed a few bots, blasting them away when his fist hit the ground. Not done there, he zipped up ahead to deal with another group.

Using her sword, Wonder Woman battle cried as she cut down bots in her path, doing so with ferocity that only an Amazon can have.

As for Batgirl, she tossed some batarangs at the enemy, not one missing its target as she successfully pierced a decent number of them. Good thing she restocked before leaving home. Not fully relying on her gadgets, she kicked away bots here and there whenever they got too close.

With Zatanna, she did well to avoid showboating this time, her magic making quick work of her opponents as she kept blasting holes right through them. She'd even teleport groups of them into the cold waters just by snapping her fingers. Heh, who knew focus could be so... effective. She thought.

Putting her inner pacifist to sleep, Green Lantern wasn't messing around either as she provided long range support using a will-powered bow and arrows. She was quite the skilled archer as she helped pick off Lena's forces with ease. Surprisingly, she felt proud for actually pulling this off. Evident by the small smirk on her lip.

Lastly, there's Bumblebee. Who assisted Jessica by calling out any bots attempting to damage the pier's beloved structures. The support duo hovered high to get a good view, working well together as not one bot could do their job. Karen took on her role seeing as she wasn't much help on the 'battlefield'.

"Green Lantern, the carousel!" Bumblebee called out, pointing at the ride as two bots approached it.

"Got it!" Jessica responded, summoning two arrows to fire at once. She aimed carefully, taking a deep breath before firing them off. "Good call, Bumblebee!" She said after nailing the targets.

Karen nodded contently, glad to be of use.

Back with their ground force, Izuku had little trouble fending off the machines, knowing well enough how they fought since he had experience with them already.

"See ya!" Izuku said as he web tossed a couple bots off the pier. Getting no time to rest, he ducked under a saw that swiped at him. "With my back turned? Not cool." He shook his head in disapproval, flipping up and over his attacker as he webbed its 'head'. "Hey, Wonder Woman! Heads up!" He warned as he yanked the web over his shoulder, throwing the bot towards Diana.

Hearing his call, Diana struck down a bot before facing Izuku's direction. Seeing the machine flying at her, she nodded as she quickly knew what he was getting at. She jumped at the bot before swiping her sword. And upon landing, she held a crouched stance as the bot came apart in two, sliced straight down the middle by her blade.

"Nice!" Izuku clapped before continuing the fight.

Diana grinned as his praise fueled her pride, following his lead as she bashed an enemy away with her shield.

Back with Lena, she hated what she was seeing. Already she's losing the upper hand, her 'minions' pulverized by the heroes as if they're hardly a threat to them anymore. "No, this can't be happening! How are they this good?! They were trash when they fought at that ice cream place! What changed?! Ugh, this is so dumb!" She growled, pounding her fists on her mech's console. "Rrrah! Forget it! As the old saying goes; If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself!"

Before her 'troops' could be completely depleted, Lena joined the battle as she moved her robot giant forward, commencing the demolition by totaling a snack stand.

Feeling the ground rumble, the team ceased their fighting before looking to Lena, an alert grunt escaping them as they then regrouped.

"Someone's a sore loser." Spider-Man remarked, irritated by Lena's actions.

"Anybody got an idea on how to deal with her? If so, now would be the perfect time to spill it!" Kara said, punching away a bot trying to come up beside her.

"Agreed!" Said Diana. "We may be faring well now. But, it is possible that reinforcements will arrive. We need to take the general out if we are to stop the infantry for good."

"And the destruction's she's causing, let's not forget about that!" Jessica added.

"Yes, that, too."

"I-I got nothing." Karen stammered.

"You losers think you can beat ME?! Ha! Yeah, right!" The brat said as she toppled over the ferris wheel.

"Well, somebody better think up something!" Zee exclaimed. "Because she's alread-and there goes the arcade.." She palmed her face in exasperation.

"I swear, if this runt wasn't so little, I'd have punched her straight into space by now." Kara growled.

Thankfully, luck remained on their side as Batgirl came to the rescue, looking over the mech for a moment before coming up with a solid idea. She hoped, anyway. "I got it!" She chirped, whipping out her laptop before sitting down.

"What you got, Batgirl?" Izuku asked, all ears for his bestie's solution.

"It's simple really. A fancy toy like Lena's has to have a motherboard running it. If we can find it, we can fry it. Thus, rendering it inoperable." The redhead explained, typing away as she had the mech's schematics up on the screen.

"You're saying we have to get inside that thing?" Zee pointed at the rampaging mech.

"Yup." Batgirl confirmed. "Don't fret though, we all know someone who's perfect for the job." With that, all eyes steered over at Karen.

Feeling their gazes, Karen 'eep!'d when looking to meet them. "M-M-Me?!"

"I know, it's scary. But, you're the only one who can go small enough to squeeze into these exhaust ports here." Barbara pointed out said exhaust ports on her laptop. "Go in through there, and you should find your way easily enough. You're as much of a tech nerd as I am, so I trust you know what you're looking for."

Understandably, Karen was very frightened by the pressure placed upon her. Evident by how weak in the knees she looked.

"You up for it, Karen? It's okay if you're not. We can always think up other options. This is just the quickest one we got." Izuku placed a hand gently on Bumblebee's shoulder to comfort her.

Karen was beyond tempted to decline the job, but after proving herself useful just moments ago. She wanted to feel that way again, needed to feel that way again. Not just her, but the whole city needed her to. With that in mind, Karen ultimately eased her fear, refusing to revert back to the helpless girl she was before. Like her friends, she had what it took to be a great hero. And with this, she'll prove it!

"No, I'll do it!" Karen responded, expressing her newfound bravery. As for Spider-Man, he smiled at the fire in her eyes.

"Karen? Are you sure?" Asked Diana.

"I won't lie, I'm... really terrified. But, a part of me believes that I can do this. So, I will!" Bumblebee's bravery only got stronger by the self-encouragement.

"You're doing the team proud, Bumblebee." Izuku said, feeling mighty proud of the girl indeed. A feeling shared amongst their allies. "Don't worry, we'll be with you at every step. I promise."

Believing them, Karen breathed as she maintained her confidence. "Thanks, guys." She smiled, happy to have such super friends.

"Alright, we know what we gotta do. As for what we can use to put this tin can out of commission, I may have an idea." Izuku turned back to the others, getting curious stares instantly.

"What is it?" Jessica inquired.

"My webs." Izuku answered, pointing at his left wrist. "They're conductive. Now, if Bumblebee were to go in there with some and attach it to the motherboard.."

"You can use your electric powers to do the frying!" Barbara caught on quickly.

"Bingo." Izuku nodded. "My bio-electricity did wonders against the demolition bots. So, I figured it'd work on that thing, too. We just need to get more... direct." He scoffed before getting serious, already having a game plan. "Okay, here's how we're going to do this. So, listen up. Batgirl and Green Lantern, you two are going to keep the grunts busy and finish whatever's left of them. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Zatanna, you three are going to distract Lena so Bumblebee and I can sneak up to those exhaust ports. We don't know how much webbing we'll need to reach the motherboard, so I'll have to be right there with her. When we're done, we just get back and watch the magic happen. Now, are there any objections?" Receiving no protests as the girls simply nodded positively, Izuku reciprocated the motion before turning to the wild Lena. "Well then, let's get to it." Ready to end this once and for all, the team took one last united stand, coming side by side with Izuku in the center of them.

Before going out, Barbara handed the team an earpiece each for long range communication.

"Move out!" Spider-Man ordered after equipping his earpiece, the girls, excluding Karen, dispersing to fulfill their roles. Izuku and Karen stayed back, waiting for the right time to do their jobs. Spider-Man trusted his friends to get it right this time, so he wasn't too worried about them.

"Izuku, do you really think... we can do this?" Karen couldn't help but ask, fiddling with her thumbs. Despite her bravado earlier, she was still pretty nervous.

"No.. I don't think we can, Karen. I know we can." Izuku firmly declared, zero doubt in his tone as he kept his eyes on the fight.

Just like that, Karen's faith in herself and her team was restored, flashing Izuku a grateful smile before looking out for their opportunity, too. Like him, she had to stay focused.

'Yeah... We got this.' Shrinking to her 'bee form', Bumblebee was ready to get this show on the road. Spider-Man himself activated his camouflage, ready to begin as well.

With the clean up crew, both Batgirl and Green Lantern did well in disposing of the remaining Lexbots.

Batgirl used whatever gadgets she had left to destroy the evil forces. However, when she did eventually run empty, she resorted to using the hammer included with the pier's high striker game, coming across it during some dodging. The hammer made melee combat much easier for Babs, as it was just heavy enough to give her opponents a wicked dent. Huh, no wonder Harley Quinn liked using these things.

As for Jessica, she didn't use violence per se as she constructed a massive push broom with her ring and simply brushed her bots off into the water. In this case, she took the clean in 'clean up crew' literally.

As for the distraction team, Zatanna started them off by teleporting before the mech's cockpit, Lena surprised by her sudden appearance. "Hello there." She greeted, waving her fingers. "Now, I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance you'll just surrender if I asked?"

Amused by the magician's bold approach, Lena smirked when recovering from her shock. "Not even a little bit." She replied menacingly, swiftly lifting one of the mech's hands to make the teen go splat!

"Eh, I tried." Zee shrugged. "Ejarim!" Snapping her fingers, she teleported to safety right before the hand could hit her, causing Lena to tense up as she's too late to stop it. "Ah, crud."

"Agh!" The girl cried, her mech stumbling from the self-inflicted blow.

"Quickly! Restrain her while she is disoriented!" Diana ordered, whipping out her Lasso of Truth before using it to grasp onto the mech's left arm. Getting a good hold, she dashed across the bot's front, forcing the robotic limb across its owner's chest.

"H-Hey!" Lena exclaimed, struggling to break free of Diana's lasso. She just about used her free hand to slap the Amazon away, but was thwarted when Supergirl entered the fray.

"I don't think so, brat!" Kara flew up close and personal with the mech's right arm, restraining this limb by pulling it across the mech's back.

"No, no, no, no, no! Ah, come on! Let me go, you jerk faces!" Lena whined as she pressed frantically at her console, trying to escape her situation.

With Lena restrained for now, Zatanna pressed her earpiece to give the infiltration team the go ahead. "Spider-Man? Bumblebee? Whatever you're doing, do it now! I'm not sure if we can hold her for long!"

Diana strained intensily against the mech's pulling, the goliath having more strength than she thought as she was losing her footing slowly. Kara wasn't doing any better as she felt her own grip slipping.

"Rrr..! Hurry! This mechanical beast is much stronger than we anticipated!" Diana groaned, trying her damndest to hold up her end.

"We're on it!" Izuku acknowledged.

Just as he said that, Zee noticed Karen's yellow glow fly by below her, moving up towards the mech while Lena was distracted. As for Izuku, he's nowhere to be seen. So, she could only assume that he's currently doing his 'disappearing act'.

'Be careful, you two..'

"I'm here, Spider-Man. Where are you?" Bumblebee asked when reaching the exhaust ports, looking around for Izuku.

"Right here." Spider-Man replied as he deactivated his camouflage right beside Karen, startling her as she shrieked. "AH! Oh, crap! S-Sorry, Karen.. Didn't mean to scare you."

Recovering from her mini heart attack, Bumblebee replied. "I-It's okay. Just... warn me the next time you do that, alright?"

"You got it. Heheh.. A-Again, sorry." Izuku apologized once more with slightly less guilt, then shaking his head as they didn't have time to waste. With his right wrist, he shot a web line merely a foot in length, keeping his fingers on his palm gently so Karen can keep it going. "Here. You do know what you're looking for, right?" He handed Karen the web.

"I know a motherboard when I see one. So, that isn't an issue." Karen reassured, holding the web firmly.

"Just needed to be sure." Izuku stifled. "Alright, as soon as you attach the web, get back here asap. I don't think you'll wanna be in there when this hunk of junk starts going haywire."

"I hear you." Bumblebee nodded, turning to the exhaust ports before taking a breath to better prepare herself. "Well... wish me luck.."

"You don't need it, Karen. You got this." Izuku encouraged, having faith in his little friend.

After hearing his confidence in her, Karen couldn't let him down now. 'He's right... Okay... Okay! Let's do this!' With haste, she flew into the mech, taking Izuku's web with her as it got longer the deeper she went.

"Here's hoping it's a straight way there.. The faster we get this done, the better." Izuku whispered, keeping his wrist closely aimed to where Karen entered. Sadly, it wouldn't be long before his spider-sense alerted him of Lena's inevitable escape..

As Spider-Man hoped, Karen's trip was a straight forward one as she eventually came upon the mech's mainframe, spotting the motherboard. "Izuku, I found it!" She spoke into her earpiece.

"That's great, Karen! Now, attach the web somewhere and get the heck out of there! Lena's about to be fr-Ah! Wonder Woman! Supergirl!" They were too late.

Karen panicked as that worried shout didn't sound good. "Izuku?! What's going on?! Spider-Man, talk to me!" She pleaded, receiving no response as the line went quiet. A moment later, she froze when the mech suddenly started shaking, throwing her off balance as she grabbed the walls of the tech tunnel she's in. "Someone, please! What's happening?!" She stressed about the wellbeing of her friends.

Little did she know, Spider-Man was no longer on the other end of the web..

"Hahahaha! Nice try, suckas! Now, say goodbye to your precious pier while you still can!" Lena boasted as she flew high via leg thrusters, having blasted off to the sky after breaking free. With her upcoming move, she intended to obliterate the pier by smashing into it, getting lots of air to really power the blow.

With Izuku, he struggled to stick to one of the mech's ankles, having slipped away from the exhaust ports when the mech launched. It soared at such a velocity that the resulting wind pressure fought to 'kick' him off. 'Damn it! The timing of this could not be more terrible!' Izuku thought in annoyance, the wind prying his feet and fingers loose. After a few seconds, he just couldn't hold on anymore, screaming as he then plummeted to his possible demise.

"Spider-Man!" The girls below cried, Diana and Kara just getting out of the game stands they were flung into.

"No!" Diana's heart dropped, watching in fright as Izuku made a swift descent. "Supergirl, save him!" She ordered, needing to act fast.

"On it!" Kara acknowledged, crouching as she prepped to make her own blast off.

Before she could go though...

"You can sit tight, ladies! I got him!"

An unfamiliar voice entered their comms, rendering the girls perplexed and frozen as a result.

"Wh... Who is this?" Batgirl asked.

"..A friend."

*Fwoooosh!*

Hit with another surprise, the girls yelped as a figure flew over their heads, leaving them even more baffled as they soared towards Spider-Man.

Izuku nearly hit the water before their new 'friend' caught him, holding him bridal style as they then aided him in returning to Karen pronto, putting more power into the thrusters on their 'heels'.

Realizing his fall ceased, Izuku gazed at his savior in shock. Upon closer inspection, the ally wore a full body of armor that completely shielded their identity, being a combination of red and gold with blue lights on the chest, eyes, and forehead. (A/N: The Ironheart Armor Model 2 baby! ) The one aspect Izuku noticed however, judging by the feminine body outlined underneath, was that the person is female.

"Who... are you?" Izuku questioned.

"Oh, me?" The girl underneath giggled. "The name's Ironheart. Pleasure to finally meet you, Spider-Man."

"Finally..?" Izuku muttered, that being a keyword for him.

"Here's your stop!" 'Ironheart' said as she slowed down by the warsuit's exhaust ports, allowing Izuku to stick back with ease now that the wind's somewhat blocked. "Alright then. See ya!" Her job done apparently, Ironheart gave a two finger salute before shooting back to midtown Metropolis, not leaving so much as an explanation for why she showed herself now of all times, or why she was leaving.

Spider-Man had to worry about that later though as Bumblebee was still waiting for him, freaking out if her last transmission was any indication. About to grab his end of the web, he became bewildered as it's nowhere to be seen. "What the-?" Taking a deeper look, he discovered that the web, which had been torn during his earlier slip, was some ways inside the exhaust port's narrow tunnel. He reached in to grab it, and he could've if his arm was a couple inches longer. "Damn it!" He grunted before pressing his earpiece. "Bumblebee, you there?"

"Spider-Man? Oh, thank goodness!" Karen replied. "Did something happen? You went quiet and-"

Short on time, Izuku cut her off there. "Later, Karen! Lena's about to crash this thing onto the pier. So, we need to hurry and finish this!"

"R-Right!" Karen exclaimed. "I'm attaching the web now, so I'll be making my way out shortly!"

"There's a problem, we may need to make another line! The web ripped a bit on my end, so I can't reach it! But, if there's anywhere you can place it to bring it closer to me, we can save time that way. Just a few inches should do!" Karen didn't respond. "Bumblebee?" Again, no answer. Before he can address her again, the web then came within his reach just enough. "That's it!" He cheered, grasping the web with his fingers before powering up his bio-electricity, not channeling it to his hand just yet. "Good work! Now, get out of there! It's time to put an end to this brat's parade!"

After he said that, the mech's ascent came to a stop just above the clouds.

"Ah~ The perfect altitude for destruction. I love it!" Lena prepped to make her mad drop, still blissfully unaware of the heroes presence.

"Oh, no.." Spider-Man sweated.

"..D-Do it now, Izuku.. I'll um... I-I'll be exiting through another route.." Karen finally replied, speaking with such nervousness that it unsettled Izuku.

"You sure?" A bad feeling washed over him as he didn't see where else to get out from. "Because I don't think there's anywhere else you can g-" It was his turn to be interrupted.

"YES, I'M SURE! IT'S NOW OR NEVER! SO, JUST HURRY UP AND GET IT OVER WITH!" Even though Karen sounded frustrated, she also sounded... more scared than usual..

"Y-YES, MA'AM!" Too startled by the outburst to hear her emotions though, Izuku obeyed as he promptly shot in the electricity he mustered, unaware of the true damage he'd cause.

Their plan a success, it wasn't long before the mech started going haywire.

"AAAH! W-What going on?!" Lena cried as she curled up on her seat, looking around in utter loss as the whole cockpit sparked out of control.

"Hahah! We did it!" Izuku said in elation. "Karen, we did it!" Once more, the girl went silent. "K-Karen..?" No reply. Unfortunately, he had another situation to stress about.

With the mech totally fried from the inside, it began freefalling back to the ground, still looking like it's going to hit the pier. 'SHIT!' Izuku went bug-eyed when witnessing the ground get closer, having no choice but to cling to the mech for dear life. Now, he felt like an idiot for not thinking this part through.

With the girls, they stiffened as they couldn't not notice the drop. Not about to let their efforts be for nothing, it was Batgirl's turn to act fast as she looked to Supergirl. "We could really use those muscles of yours, Supergirl!"

Yanked from her stupor, Kara got her head back in the game, nodding as she knew what Babs was telling her. "I got them!" The blonde said before launching at the falling mech, hoping to stop its descent in time.

...

"Huh..?" A few suspenseful moments later, color Izuku stunned when the mech's drop slowed down, opening his eyes before looking below. He blinked as the ground now ever so slowly approached, the realization helping him relax. "Oh, thank God.." He sighed, feeling over his previously terrified heart. When settled, he peeked over to see what, or rather who, halted the speedy plummet. "Ah, Supergirl! Man.. aren't you a sight for sore eyes." He said when spotting Kara, the blonde 'carrying' the dead mech as she eased them back to the pier.

"All in a day's work for a hero, am I right?" Kara replied humorously, grinning as she caught Izuku's eye.

"Damn straight." Izuku responded, awed by the Kryptonian's strength. He couldn't relish in his jubilance for long as Karen came back to mind. "Oh no, Bumblebee!" In a panic, he crawled back to the exhaust ports before peering into them, looking for Karen. Much to his annoyance, he barely had any visibility now that the mech's disabled, and the night sky certainly didn't help. He about called to the little brunette, but his voice got caught his throat upon hearing her own voice beat him to it.

"H... Help..." Karen's voice echoed, the girl sounding in pain.

"Karen?!"

"Izu... ku..?"

"I'm here, Karen! Just follow my voice, and we'll get you out of there!" Spider-Man had to grin, happy that his friend's alive. He wanted to say she's okay. But, she definitely didn't sound like it.

"A-Alright.." Karen panted.

Izuku ignited his fist with electricity to use as a light source. And with that, his eyes widened upon seeing Bumblebee crawl her way towards him, doing so rather weakly as she groaned with each push. She definitely wasn't okay as her suit had seen better days, parts of it dirtied with smoot and her wings bent and broken. He almost questioned on how she ended up like that, but it obviously wasn't the time.

"There you are. Here, lemme help you." He turned off his bio-electricity before grabbing Bumblebee lightly, who put up no resistance as she gladly rested in his palm.

"Thank you.." Karen coughed.

"No problem." Just as he took Karen out, they were immediately swarmed by their nervous companions after Kara set the mech down.

"Bestie, are you two alri-" Babs couldn't finish that thought as she and the other girls gasped in horror when seeing Karen's condition.

"Oh no, Karen! Are you alright?!" Jessica asked, the girl in question groaning tiredly as she pushed herself to stand, using Izuku's fingers as support.

"Yeah, I'm f-fine. More or less.." Karen stifled, flashing an exhausted smile before looking to Izuku. Her words brought some comfort to the girls. "You can put me down now, but gently please." She softly uttered, feeling enough of her strength replenish to stand on her own.

"You got it." As per her request, Izuku carefully lowered Karen to the ground, only letting her go once she regained her independence. Next thing they knew, she returned to her normal size after pressing a button on her gauntlet, glad to be out of that form after what she'd been through.

"Oh, that's much better." Karen sighed as she took off her helmet, her hair coming out its usual style. However, the others immediately noticed something different about it, their heads tilted curiously.

"Is... something the matter?" The brunette blinked cluelessly as she caught their stares.

"Yo..." Kara spoke up. "Since when did you get highlights, kid?"

"Highlights?" In confusion, Bumblebee reached for her head, feeling nothing out of the ordinary. "What do you mean?"

"She means..." Barbara fished her phone from her utility belt, opening the camera app before handing the device to Karen. "those highlights." She tapped the screen.

Upon seeing her face, Karen's eyes widened as she indeed had highlights in her hair, certain that she didn't have them before. "Holy moly.." She breathed, actually more amazed than alarmed by them. She ran her fingers over the yellow streak on her left bun, then doing the same to the... green? streak on her right. 'Did doing THAT cause this?' She wondered, admiring her new look as she regretted her earlier craziness a little less.

Zee smirked as she quite liked Karen's new features, too. "Well, however you got them, I think they look fabulous on you, Karen. What's your secret?"

Not making a big fuss either, the rest of the team eased up. "There is only one thing it can be; Courage." Diana answered the question, releasing her pent up relief as she pulled Karen in for a hug.

Karen was surprised at first, but ultimately returned the embrace. "Sure, let's go with that." She giggled, patting Diana's back.

"Oh, I can't take it!" Barbara squealed, succumbing to temptation as she threw herself into the hug, the power of friendship overcoming her. The silly action earned her a group laugh.

Once the tender moment passed, Izuku reminded the girls that they weren't quite done yet. "Alright, ladies." He chuckled. "As much as I hate to ruin the moment, we still got one last thing to deal with." With that, he gestured to the mech's cockpit, hearing Lena within whining as she tried kicking the window open repeatedly. With the controls being busted and all, it's all she could do.

"Oh, this I gotta see." Kara said with a smirk.

Ready to confront their very first villian, the young heroes put on their serious faces as they moved to surround the cockpit.

"RRRAH! Open! Up! You! Stupid! Rust! Bucke-!" Lena's kicking ceased when she came 'face-to-face' with the heroes. She gulped as they all glared right into her rotten soul, sending a nervous chill down her already trembling spine. "Uh-oh.."

"I hope you're ready, kid. Because it looks like you're in for a grounding you'll never forget." Izuku said smugly, crouching as he knuckle tapped the window.

Lena wanted to give some sort of snarky retort, but didn't bother seeing as she's already defeated. So, with a displeased growl, the brat surrendered, pouting as she raised her hands.

"I really hate heroes.." She grumbled while rolling her eyes.

( Cue "Spider-Man Loves You" - Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse OST )

When the police finally arrived, Lena was 'waiting' for them sprawled out over a cobweb, taking the humiliation poorly as she glared daggers at the approaching officers.

Below Lena hanged a note, and on that note, it read..

'Courtesy of your new friendly neighborhood superheroes!' Around the message were doodles of each team member's insignia, complete with a kiss mark left by Zee.

"More heroes, eh?" One of the officers inquired.

"Appears so." His partner scoffed, running a hand through his hair as he took in Lena's mess. "Someone get this kid's parents on the phone. She has an... expensive conversation ahead of her."

While the teens didn't get to enjoy the pier in the way that they hoped, they surely experienced a different kind of rush. How many people can say they saved the city, after all? Their mission accomplished, they saved the celebration for another day, turning in for the night as they were all beat. As for Izuku, he truly earned the rest.

Come morning, he awoke feeling decently rested, having way more energy than he did yesterday as he was all smiles. He didn't stick around to have breakfast with his family, as he only wanted to do one thing to start off this bright new day. So, after giving his mom and baby sister their cheek kiss goodbye, and even giving his dad a hug, Izuku left the Midoriya home in a chipper rush. School bag in hand, of course.

Their son's improved attitude perplexed Inko and Hisashi as they wondered what could've caused such a change. However, they'll let it slide as they're just glad to see his old self shine again.

"WOOOOH! GOOD MORNING, METROPOLIIIS!" Spider-Man bellowed as he swung over the crowded streets, breezing through the morning traffic.

As it turns out, he gained quite the fanbase overnight as the citizens below cheered him on, news of the teens epic victory playing on digital billboards all across the city. Just like with Diana yesterday, they were blowing up all over social media, too. Needless to say, they were pretty popular right now.

During the showdown, some witnesses stayed behind to record them in secret, said witnesses even giving comments to reporters praising the young heroes, and some even complimenting their 'hot' looks as they put it. Now, the question everyone's asking now is... What do they call this up-and-coming hero team?

That's a good question, Izuku thought as he perched over a roof's edge, taking a minute to process everything. He wouldn't decide on a team name without consulting his friends, of course. But, he had to admit, it's tempting. He also had other concerns. Like, who was this Ironheart person that rescued him last night? And what exactly does the future hold for them? Only time can answer the latter. And as for the former, well... he had a feeling they'd see her again real soon. Whoever she is.

Police sirens suddenly captured his attention, looking below to see a high-speed chase taking place. He checked his phone for the time. Having some minutes before school started, Izuku looked over the bustling city of Metropolis. He smiled at the many challenges awaiting him, ready to face whatever came his way as he knew he'd never face them alone. His powerful new lady friends flashed through his mind. Unaware that there's still more to come..

Thwip!

"Time to get to work!" Izuku chuckled as he jumped off the building, webswinging to stop the no good criminals.

Oh, how he loved being a superhero!

( End song! )

Last night...

Sneaking in through her bedroom window, Barbara was so ready to crash upon returning home, quietly making her way in as to not wake her folks across the hall.

"Oh, boy... What a fun day.." The redhead tiredly chuckled as she pulled off her cowl, yawning as she sat on the bottom of her bunk bed. Once comfortable, she began to strip off her Batsuit to change into her jammies. But, she only managed to get her boots off before realizing she wasn't alone..

"I bet it was, Batgirl. I bet it was." A female voice said from the shadows.

Immediately, Babs eyes nearly shot out of their sockets, standing in alert to look for the obvious intruder. "Who's there?!" She hushly shouted. With the moon being her only light at the moment, she didn't have much visibility to go on.

"Calm down, there's no need to panic. I'm not here to harm you. In fact.." In suspense, Barbara held her breath as... she actually recognized the voice speaking to her.

From the darkest corner of the room, out stepped a young caucasian woman in her late teens. Like Kara, she had bright blonde hair, but was longer as it reached halfway down her back. Adding to the appeal of her aqua-blue eyes, she had on a pair of ful vue glasses; The hallmark of her brainy beauty appearance.

As for her attire, she wore a dark pink waistcoat over a short-sleeved dress shirt, a red plaid bow over her chest, pale grey pants, and plaid knee high socks under brown heeled boots.

"I'm here to help you." The 'visitor' finished when stepping into the light, flashing a warm smile as she held her hands at her waist.

Barbara was dumbfounded as she didn't recognize the girl, but knew for sure she was the one behind the voice that hacked into their comms earlier. However, that could only mean one thing; She was the armored woman who saved her bestie!

"It's... I-It's you.." Was all Batgirl could say as she couldn't shake her shock.

"Figured it out based on my voice, I see." The unknown blonde beamed. "I'd expect nothing less from the world's greatest female detective." She chuckled, the compliment getting a blush out of the redhead. "Now, I'm sure that you have many questions, Barbara Gordon. And I'll answer them. But only after we get through an... important discussion." She emphasized, raising a brow as that piqued Barbara's interest.

"About... what..?" Babs muttered out, remaining anxiously stiff.

"Well, it's about an idea really. One that I know you'll love just as much as I do, if not more so. An idea that I like to call..." She paused intentionally for dramatic effect, grinning as this next part always gave her goosebumps.

"The Ultimates Initiative."

A/N: And there we are! Finally we've reached the end of this bloody damn arc! Y'all happy now? XD Oh, boy. Just doing this arc has been a fun ride for me though, so I regret nothing. Now, the reason I took my time was that I was trying to give this arc a more... movie-ish flow. As much as I love SHG, I feel as if things could be better if they just... slowed down a bit, you know? And that's kinda what I tried to do here. Of course, I won't hold anything against the show's creators seeing as each episode only has a ten minute runtime. And again, I truly do love the show for what it is. So, I'm not trying to complain. Lol

Anyway, thanks for being patient with me, guys. And I hope y'all at least somewhat enjoyed this conclusion. I'll be seeing ya when the adventure continues! Have a good one!
