(Asuna speaking) If you ask me what kinds of miracles have taken place in my life, I wouldn't even begin to list out the ones that have happened in my life. How I met someone I love. How I was able to live after SAO. How Kirito was able to save me from Sugou. Kirito and Sinonon dealing with GGO. Everything with Yuuki. And that was before coming to this world. But now, I believe I just witnessed the biggest miracle of all; reviving all those who died from the SAO Incident.
Thanks to the ordeal involving Gouxus sending Aincrad to this dimension, we were able to encapsulate the hearts of all those who died during SAO, including Akihiko Kayaba, the creator of SAO, into an gem we dubbed 'Aincrad's Soul'. Then, when we were summoned to Hollow Bastion due to the MCP of Tron's world unleashing a war upon the town, we eventually discovered a way to revive the hearts; by using Tron's world to restore the data of all the Players and integrating them into reality with the power of the computer system. To do that, we had to destroy the MCP. Thanks to me, Kirito, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Yui, Tron, and many others in Hollow Bastion, we were able to complete the task, and de-rezzed the MCP, which allowed Tron to gain access to the system, and aid us in reviving the Players. Players, including those who fought so hard to clear SAO, were coming back to life. However, the ones that we were grateful to return were those dear to Kirito; the Moonlit Black Cats guild, which contained Sachi, Kirito's first love. Finally, he could move on from losing her, as she was lost no more.
Hollow Bastion, or as we were to learn its true name as Radiant Garden, was now a new home for SAO Revivers, which we dubbed the Players who came back to life. The six of us, as well as the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee and Kayaba, explained all that we could to everyone. Explaining everything to the almost four thousand Players was difficult, and some were definitely traumatized by what killed them, or the fact that they could not return home. There were some PKers among the crowd, as well, including those of Laughing Coffin. We had to subdue them before things got even worse. Once things were settled down, the Players eventually agreed to take advantage of their new lives, and take up residents here. Sora did mention that Twilight Town was also a great place to live in, and Kirito and Leafa got the idea to secretly called Namine for assistance in bringing a good majority over to Twilight Town, as well. We went through a great ordeal creating a fib to fool Sora.
From what I was able to gather, many Floor Clearers, including the Army and Knights of the Blood Oath, were so battle-hearty, that they decided to create a protection force for this world, to protect people from the Heartless and Nobodies.
uradeel, the one who killed commander Godfrey, and nearly killed Kirito and me, seemed to have lost his memories of SAO. Yui believed that he, along with a rare few in the crowd, had lost some of their memories from data errors. Now, he proclaimed himself the bodyguard to Aerith, though I am very sure she doesn't need one at all. It was the same personality he was giving me now directed to her. I'm sure she can handle him.
Diabel, who died after trying to attempt the last attack bonus in the first floor of SAO, had felt the guilt for letting his greed and selfishness get the better of him. Leon was able to talk some sense into him when he was down, and has helped him understand what it means to be a better leader, how to be selfless, and was helping him with sword fighting. After that, Diabel spoke to Kirito and I, and decided to go to Twilight Town after his training.
Akihiko Kayaba had decided to assist both the SAO Revivers and the Restoration Committee in Radiant Garden, including aiding and assisting Tron at Ansem's study and computer. The Moonlit Black Cats also chose to assist him in his work for the time being. From what he told us, however, he was planning to leave once everything in this town was taken care of. His curiosity with the new world and new environment was nagging at him. That part of him made me think of Kirito in so many ways. I hope he find that 'castle in the sky' he wanted before. A place where he could feel at home and rest.
As for the rest of us, we made sure to take care of all the Revivers, the Restoration Committee, and everyone else in between. And while we had more things to do outside of this world, there was one more thing that Sora mentioned that needed to be taken care of before they left; restore Pooh's Storybook.
Outside of Merlin's house, people were walking by when a flash followed by panicked cries within the place. It drew everyone's attention, wondering what was happening. Inside Merlin's house, Sora was standing in the middle of the room. Kirito, Asuna, Donald, Goofy, Yui, Merlin, Cid, Leafa and the Moonlit Black Cats were all backed away from him or fell to the floor. Sora had his Keyblade pointed upwards. He had just demonstrated his Thundara magic to the Moonlit Black Cats.
"What…the hell, Sora?!" Kirito shouted as he got to his feet. Sora tried his best to look innocent, but to no prevail.
"When we were asked to demonstrate our magic, we didn't mean we demonstrate it INDOORS!" Asuna scolded him.
"Yeah…sorry about that." Sora apologized, rubbing the back of his head, "I forgot how dangerous that was."
"Oof!" grunted Cid as he got to his feet, "Didn't anybody tell ya no conjurin' thunder indoors, kid?"
"And I though Kazuto was reckless…" Leafa moaned, helping Sasamaru to his feet. Donald walked up and glared at Sora angrily. "Look, I'm sorry!" Sora apologized again, "I didn't mean to hurt anyone."
"Well it looks like that no one is injured, thank goodness." Yui said, observing everyone, "But simply put, this is how magic works…kinda."
"It is pretty cool." Ducker stated, "I mean, you gave us those special orbs that give us magic skills, gramps."
"I would refrain on calling me 'Gramps', my boy." Merlin retorted at him, "But it is as Sora demonstrated, magic is something you have to be careful with. Use it wisely, and THINK before you react." He emphasized the final words to Sora, who giggled nervously.
"So…who's got what magic now?" Keita asked as the group gathered again.
"If I remember correctly, you all have the Fire spell." Kirito explained, "Tetsuo and Keita have Blizzard, Sasamaru and Sachi have Thunder, and Ducker has Cure."
"So I'm the healer of the group?" Ducker asked.
"For the time being." Leafa answered him, "Merlin will help you hone your magical skills. I'm sure there's a few Heartless out there we can help you fight against."
Sasamaru sighed a bit. "I know we agreed on help the Restoration Committee with things, but I didn't actually think we'd be fighting again. It's bad enough I died once."
"Well, don't worry." Kirito told the five members, "Once we eliminate Organization XIII and stop the creation of Kingdom Hearts, I think that will clear any more trouble coming your way."
"So…should we head out to that computer room in the castle?" Sachi asked.
"Sure." Asuna replied, "Let's get moving."
"If you don't mind, I want to stay here." Sora suggested, surprising the others, "I want to help Pooh and his storybook. Now that all of the pages have been collected, I think I can help restore his memory."
"That's a good idea." Merlin agreed, "The sooner Pooh is fixed, the better."
"Sora, would you mind if I tag along?" Yui asked, floating to him.
"Yui?" Kirito questioned her.
"I can try helping out Sora with restoring Pooh's memory." she replied, "As a Mental Health Counseling Program, it is my duty to help out those with psychological problems."
Asuna and Kirito looked to each other, then smiled. "Okay." Kirito replied, "Sora, I'm leaving Yui in your hands. Do your best in there."
"We will." Sora answered.
"Donald, Goofy, come with us." Asuna suggested to them, "We might need your help."
"You got it!" squawked Donald.
"Sure. We'd be happy to help." Goofy agreed. The group walked out of the room until all that remained were Sora, Yui and Cid.
"Well, I best be workin' on the computer then." Cid stated, "Shout if ya need me, 'kay?"
"Right." Sora replied. He turned to Yui and asked, "You ready to go?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." Yui replied, and Sora opened the storybook, and he and Yui entered its' pages.
For a second it was a bright light, then Yui and Sora appeared, miniaturized into the book's pages. This was the first time Yui had actually been in the storybook, so she was very interested with the atmosphere. She then also noticed that she was in her human form again. "How'd this happen?" she asked looking down herself, "I guess maybe this world also lets me become human-sized, too."
"Really?" Sora asked, "So can you turn into your pixie form, too?"
She tried doing so, and she turned into her Navigation Pixie form, then back. "I guess I can." she replied, "But I'm gonna stick with this form for the time being."
"Okay." Sora understood.
"So…where should we start?" Yui asked Sora. He answered by pointing out different parts of the book. He pointed where Pooh's house was at, and it looked like it was a pop-up piece. There were several ripped areas where the pages were torn.
"I've already added the Torn pages to the book." Sora explained, "They should come one at a time for us. Hey, look!" he pointed to one of the ripped pages. A ball of swirling light fell onto it, and in a burst of light, a new page was added to the book. "Let's go!" Sora cheered, and he and Yui ran across the book to the newly added piece.
Inside the page, the scenery was a hill with a large tree on top. Trees were falling down everywhere, almost as if it was Fall. Standing to one side was Pooh himself, knocking at his noggin as he was thinking.
Just then, Gopher popped out of a hole behind Pooh. "Say, what's wrong, sonny?" Gopher asked with a whistle in his voice.
Pooh turned to Gopher and answered, "Oh, I was just thinking…and…and wondering."
"You should be skedaddlin' outta here." Gopher warned him.
"Why?" Pooh asked.
"Why? Because it's Windsday, of course!" Gopher answered, then he dove back into his hole again.
"Windsday?" echoed Pooh, "Oh! Well then, happy Windsday! Now, I think I shall wish everyone a happy Windsday!" He started walking to the tree, then stopped. "Oh, bother." he moaned, "Let's see now. Who is 'Everyone'?" He sat down and started to think once more.
Sora and Yui walked into the area inside the new page just by stepping into the pop-up piece. "So what is this place?" Yui asked, looking around.
"If I remember correctly, this is where my friend Piglet lives." Sora replied.
Just then, a gust of wind blew from behind them. "Glad I'm not a pixie in this wind." Yui stated as she held her hair down.
"Ouch!" Sora yelped as he was hit over the head by a flying honey pot.
"You ok?" she asked as the wind died down.
"Yeah…" Sora replied, massaging the back of his head, "Wonder if Pooh's here…"
"Let's go see." Yui answered, and the two started walking.
Another gust of wind blew from behind, only this time it was carrying someone. It look like a small pig that passed by. "Oh, help, help!" he shouted as he flew, "Somebody save me!"
"Piglet!" Sora called out. Piglet managed to grab ahold of one of the branches of the tree.
"Sora!" he cried, "Help! Please!"
"Hold on, little guy!" Sora shouted, and he and Yui ran over to the tree where he was at. They made it underneath the branch where Piglet was holding onto. "Let's find a way to help Piglet down." Sora suggested.
"Allow me." Yui stated, and she entered her pixie form and flew up to the branch.
When Piglet saw her, he was startled from her appearance. "Oh, d-d-dear. Who are you?" he stammered as Yui landed on the branch.
"I'm Yui, a friend of Sora's." Yui replied, "Don't worry. I'll help you down." Seeing as how small Piglet was, Yui was able to lift him up and carry him until they were within Sora's reach. Sora was surprised at how strong Yui was getting as time went on. Before, she could barely bring Jafar's lamp over back in Agrabah. He assumed she was just getting stronger as they journeyed through the worlds. Sora grabbed ahold of Piglet and gently put him to the ground as Yui went back into her human form again.
"There you go!" Sora stated as he and Yui knelt to Piglet.
"Whew!" sighed Piglet, "Thank you, Sora and Yui. I'm really glad you came to help me."
"Anytime." Yui replied cheerfully.
Piglet turned to one side and noticed something. "Oh, here comes Pooh Bear." he pointed out, and the team noticed Pooh walking to the group.
"Pooh! You're all right!" Sora exclaimed.
"So you're Pooh?" Yui asked, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Yui."
"Why, hello." he greeted the group, "It's nice to meet you. Happy Windsday."
"Windsday?" Yui questioned, wondering if Pooh meant Wednesday.
"Nice to m-meet you?" asked a startled Piglet, "But, Pooh. It's me, Piglet. Don't you remember me?"
"And me, too?" Sora added, "We're friends!"
"Yeah, I'm the only one who you don't know because this is our first time we've met." Yui told him, "But these two are your friends. Don't you even recognize them?"
"They are? Hmm…" hummed Pooh, thinking, "It seems I can't remember."
"Oh, Pooh…" Piglet sobbed, "That's v-v-very sad!" He started to walk away, his head hung as he looked like he was about to cry. Just then, another gust of wind picked up, and Piglet was once again carried by it. "Goodbye, Sora! Goodbye, Yui! Goodbye, Pooh!" he shouted as he was carried away. Yui and Sora detected the sign of sadness in his voice.
"Piglet…" Sora muttered.
"We should help him out." Yui suggested.
"Oh my. That looks rather fun, doesn't it?" Pooh asked.
"I say, it seems we have a rather serious predicament!" said a voice from behind. Sora and Yui turned to see an owl standing there. "Sora, would you mind going after poor Piglet?" Owl asked. Sora nodded in response.
"I'll go with you in my pixie form." Yui recommended, switching into her pixie form, "But how are you and Pooh gonna get up there?"
"Here, use this." Owl replied, holding up a balloon to Sora, "It can carry you up there."
Yui eyed the balloon. It looked like a normal balloon. She didn't see how it could carry Sora and Pooh. Just then, another gust of wind was produced, and Sora, Pooh and Yui were carried along with the wind. "How is it…?" Yui started, but she decided not to finish. All she knew was that it would help them get to Piglet.
The wind was seriously strong, for not only was it carrying them, but other things like honey pots and beehives. Sora used his Keyblade to knock all the debris out of the way. There were also small tornados which Sora used to clear large areas of debris. They were drawing in near to Piglet when a large gust carried the trio upward into the sky, out of reach. They weren't the only things that were carried upward, for now they had to also deal with large tree stumps as well. Those took a few hits to take out, or a large tornado. Sora started to control the balloon better, and he dove down with Yui and Pooh. They got in close to Piglet, avoiding more debris. Sora smacked a few aside until Yui flew in with the wind, knocking Piglet over to a nearby branch, one that was higher than the previous branch. Yui was unable to control herself after putting Piglet onto the branch, and she knocked into Sora. The wind died down, and Sora, Pooh and Yui landed on the ground close to the tree. The balloon floated away from them. Yui reverted back to her human form, apparently worn from the blustery rescue.
They looked up to see Piglet standing on the branch, shaking as he held onto the branch. "Jump down, Piglet!" Sora shouted, "I'll catch you!"
Piglet looked down, and looked away covering his eyes. "Oh, d-d-dear…" Piglet moaned.
"You can do it, Piglet!" Sora shouted.
"You just have to be brave!" Yui added. Piglet turned back to the group's position.
"Sora…Yui…" he muttered as he heard them. He paused for a second, then stammered, "All right, Sora, Yui. I'll t-try…" Piglet neared the edge of the branch. He covered his eyes, and leapt off the branch. Sora and Yui had their hands raised to catch him, but it was Pooh who caught him instead. The catch caused Pooh to fall on his behind.
"Oh, that was rather frightening." Pooh stated, "I do hope you're all right, Piglet."
"Oh, P-Pooh…" gasped Piglet, "You remember my name? You really, truly remembered?"
"Of course, Piglet." Pooh responded, "But today I think I shall call you 'my friend Piglet who is very brave'!" Sora and Yui watched the scene, and smiled at Pooh's statement.
"Me? Very brave? No…" questioned Piglet, "But it's easy to be brave when I have a wonderful friend like you, Pooh Bear!"
"I'm happy for you guys!" Sora stated as Pooh stood up.
"Does this mean that you remember Sora, Pooh?" Yui asked. Pooh turned to them.
"Oh, and thank you for rescuing my friend Piglet, Yui and Somebody-I-Don't-Know."
"Oh…" Sora moaned, depressed by the fact that Pooh still didn't remember, "Uh, sure. Don't mention it."
Yui patted Sora's shoulder, sympathizing with him. "Come on. Maybe if we add more pages, that'll bring back Pooh's memory." Yui suggested. Sora nodded in response, and the two back out to the book again.
"W-Wait for me, you guys!" Piglet shouted, and he followed the duo.
Sora and Yui, with no Piglet with them, walked out of the new page, and noticed it changed slightly. It was now propped up, officially attached to the book. "Is the next page coming in, soon?" Yui asked.
"Give it a moment." Sora replied, looking around.
Finally, another bright light fell onto another ripped part of the storybook, and in a flash another torn page was added to the book.
"There's the next page!" Yui pointed out.
"It looks like Rabbit's house." Sora noticed, observing the torn page, which had a tree made into a house, a clothes-line, and a pumpkin patch field.
"Let's dive in!" Yui declared, and the two entered the world in the page.
The two walked into the new area to see different sets of farm fields, each growing a different vegetable. They were about to cross the wooden bridge in front of them when they noticed something, or rather someone, in the sky. It was Pooh, hanging on by a blue balloon. He was hovering over a somber-looking donkey who stood next to what looked like a small home made of wood. The team realized where this was going.
"Oh d-d-d-dear!" squeaked Piglet.
"Don't fall!" cried Yui, seeing Pooh descend onto the donkey's home.
"C'mon!" Sora told the team, and they tried to run over and stop Pooh. Too late. Pooh crashed on top of the house, and his balloon floated away. The donkey didn't move, and Pooh sat on the ground next to the ransacked shack.
"Eeyore, Pooh. Are you okay?" Sora asked as the team raced up to them. Pooh only sat there, thinking.
"I'm sorry about your house…Eeyore, was it?" Yui asked, "You must have done a lot of work to make it…"
"No matter." Eeyore replied in a gloomy manner, "Most likely would have fallen down anyway."
I guess Eeyore's a pessimistic type. Yui thought as she heard the donkey's tone.
"Well, I'll help you fix your house, Eeyore." Piglet offered.
"Yeah, and us too." Yui added, indicating her and Sora, "I'm Yui, by the way. Nice to meet you."
"Oh, hello there, Piglet. Hello, Yui." Eeyore said in his usual gloomy tone, "Thanks for offerin'. Wouldn't want to spoil your fun day, though."
Pooh got to his feet again and looked to the group.
"Well, hello, Piglet." Pooh greeted his friend, then turning to Eeyore, "And hello, Somebody-I-Don't-Know."
"Pooh, this is Eeyore." Sora told him, "You know Eeyore, don't you?"
"Um, I do?" Pooh asked, starting to think again. Sora, Yui and Piglet looked to each other.
"What could've happened to him?" Sora asked.
"Maybe there's too many errors in his data?" Yui asked, "Oh, wait. That only happened to me. Hmm… Then maybe it's because of the torn pages." Sora, Yui and Piglet started to think of a solution.
Just then, Pooh's stomach let out a growl. He started to look around, apparently looking for food. "Oh, I have an idea!" exclaimed Piglet, "Maybe Pooh's tummy is so rumbly that it's making him forget. If we bring him some honey, he's sure to remember!"
Yui and Sora looked to each other. Highly unlikely, but anything's possible. "Well…um…I guess it's worth a try." Sora responded.
"Might work. But probably not." Eeyore added.
"Not really helping here…" Yui muttered to herself.
"First we gotta find some honey." said Sora. The team turned left and right to see where they might find some honey.
"If honey's what you're looking for, I know just the place." Eeyore stated, "Follow me." He walked away, with Pooh, Piglet, Sora and Yui following him. As the team followed the slow-moving Eeyore, Yui could've sworn she heard someone in the direction they were going. The turned the corner to the other side of the tree, and saw no one there. They did, however, see a stack of honey pots against the tree. "This is the place I told you about." Eeyore said in his solemn tone.
"Wow! Look at that." Sora gasped, seeing the honey pots.
"Are you sure it's okay if we take it?" Yui asked.
"It for Pooh's memory. Remember?" Sora reminded her.
"How yummy for my tummy!" Pooh said as he walked over, sat down, and started eating the honey.
"But doesn't that honey belong to someone?" Piglet asked.
"Could it belong to that Rabbit character that owns this house?" Yui asked, looking at the tree.
They watched Pooh go through all of the pots until he ate all of them. Just then, Rabbit came walking over to where the pots were at, and was shocked to see all of the honey was gone. "Oh, no!" he exclaimed, "My honey! Pooh, did you eat ALL my honey?!"
Pooh rubbed his tummy and turned to Rabbit, seeing the pot of honey in his hands. "Oh, hello. It's nice to meet you." Pooh greeted Rabbit.
"What did you say?" Rabbit asked, confused.
"Is that for me, too?" Pooh asked, but he didn't bother for a response. He walked over and took the pot from Rabbit, sat down, and started eating it. Rabbit looked upset at the tragedy that he had to deal with.
"Oh, I was sure I'd found a safe place for it, too…" he moaned, slumping his head.
"I'm really sorry about this." Yui apologized.
"It's our fault. We brought Pooh here." Sora added. Rabbit looked up to see who was speaking to him.
"Oh, hello, Sora…" Rabbit greeted him, "It's good to see you again. And who might you be?"
"I'm Yui." Yui replied, "I'm a friend of Sora's."
"Nice to meet you." she sighed, not particularly happy to see her, considering the situation.
"Same here…" Yui replied, "Again, we're really sorry about all this."
"It's quite all right." Rabbit replied, "I know Pooh can't be stopped when he gets this hungry."
Pooh had finished off the pot of honey and turned to Rabbit. "Pardon me, Somebody-I-Don't-Know. Is there any more?" Pooh asked him.
Rabbit was now even more confused at Pooh's attitude. "Are you feeling all right, Pooh?" Rabbit asked, "Could you really have forgotten all about me? What on earth is going on?"
"Is there more honey?" Pooh asked impatiently, "You see, my tummy's rumbly."
"That's it!" Rabbit realized, "He's so hungry, he can't remember a thing!"
"Oh! We thought that, too." Piglet agreed.
"Then let's stuff this bear full of honey!" proclaimed Rabbit.
"I wouldn't get my hopes up." Eeyore sighed.
"Can't you think of anything nice to say?" Yui muttered to herself, not liking Eeyore's attitude.
"But I thought Pooh ate all your honey, Rabbit?" Sora asked.
Rabbit turned to the four helpers. "Oh, I've got more." he explained, "Must have emergency rations. But I hid them a bit too well."
"Where are they?" Yui asked.
Rabbit led them over to a path into the woodland. "You must follow this path for starters." he told them, "But considering how smooth the terrain is, I'd recommend you grab a log and slide your way to the hiding spot."
"Slide our way there?" Yui asked.
"Sounds good to me." Sora replied, turning to Pooh, "C'mon, Pooh. Let's go get more honey." Pooh happily joined for the ride. Yui decided it would be safe if she followed them by flight, so she went into pixie form, and flew along side them. Sora grabbed a nearby log. Then with Pooh on his back, he made a running leap, and he started sliding on the log, with Yui right beside them. They slid their way through the woodland path, leaping over cliffs and spiraling around trees. They flew off one cliff, and they were shot towards the sun. Next second, they flew out of the world, and now were sliding through the pages of the book. There were now obstacles they had to avoid hitting now. However, at their speed, Sora got hit by one obstacle, and Pooh fell off. Yui flew over and struggled to keep Pooh on track until Sora picked him up again. Gopher offered to help with a balloon, but Sora couldn't get it in time. However, they had no problems from then, and they found themselves flying into another part of the book.
They landed on a snowy mountain, and from behind, a large ball of snow started to follow them. The team started sliding as fast as they could, trying not to get hit by the giant ball of snow. They entered a crevice and the ball of snow couldn't follow them. However, as soon as they left the crevice, a bunch more balls of snow started to follow them. Not only that, but more obstacles impeded their path in front. They had to avoid getting hit from behind and in front. They somehow managed, going off an unbeaten path where they were sure that the snowballs wouldn't follow. They stopped at a ledge, and turned to see that another large ball of snow barreling down upon them. It landed on top of them, forcing the trio into it, and it flew up into the sky.
They soared across the pages into the page they were at before. Next second, they were soaring towards a large hollow log tunnel. The ball of snow stopped, ejecting the trio out of it. The team resumed their sliding, avoiding all the obstacles. Gopher offered more help, and this time, they got his help, tying the balloon onto Pooh so he wouldn't get thrown off. This was extremely helpful when they hit an obstacle when they came out of the tunnel and down a hill. They kept falling down the hill at high speeds until finally they saw a gate with some signs on it. They flew into the secret place where Rabbit stored the honey. Once they came to a halt, they gathered all the honey pots they could find, and brought them back to Rabbit's house.
"There now, Pooh. Have just as much as you'd like." Rabbit told Pooh.
"Why, thank you!" Pooh replied, sitting down and pulled a pot towards him. One at a time, he ate through all of the honey. The others watched, hoping for his memories to be restored. Finally, Pooh finished the last pot, stood up, and turned to the group. "Pardon me, Kind Somebody, but do you know where I might find another smackeral or two of honey?"
"You still wanna eat more?!" Yui exclaimed, in disbelief at how much Pooh could eat. The others just made depressed sighs.
Pooh looked around, then noticed a hole that entered Rabbit's house. "My tummy seems to be telling me there's some honey right in there." Pooh suggested, walking to the hole. While Rabbit was pondering, the others watched as Pooh entered the hole. Trouble was that Pooh's lower half couldn't get through, and he got himself stuck in the hole. "Bother. I'm stuck." said Pooh's muffled voice.
"He still doesn't remember." Rabbit moaned, "What in the world has gotten into Pooh Bear?"
"I just hope we figure it out before it's too late." said Yui, looking at Pooh's bottom half.
Whatever it is, we'd better help him." Sora suggested.
"Oh, yes. And quickly, too!" Piglet added.
"Oh, stuff and fluff." moaned Pooh, his legs flailing as he tried to unstuck himself. Sora grabbed ahold of Pooh's legs. Yui, Rabbit, Eeyore and Piglet all helped Sora out by holding each other.
The group started to tug. "One, two…" Sora counted as they pulled, "…three!" With one final tug, they not only got Pooh unstuck, they sent him flying. He landed on his behind, but stood up within a few seconds. He started to think, and realized something as the team rushed to his side.
"You're okay now, Pooh." Yui told him.
"Well, I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you." warned Rabbit, "Why, just…just look at him! He doesn't even remember who I am. Perhaps it's all this blustery wind, or… Or maybe he actually needs more honey! Or he's…he's sleepwalking and…and dreaming!"
"Or maybe it's because of those torn pages." Yui whispered to Sora, giving her answer for Pooh's memory loss.
"Probably." Sora replied.
Pooh walked up to Rabbit. "Well, if I am dreaming, which I suppose I could be, I hope that I get to the part where you invite me to lunch again very soon, Rabbit."
"That's right, you're always stopping by for lunch!" Rabbit agreed, then he realized what Pooh had just said, "Wait! Pooh! You called me 'Rabbit'!"
"Well of course, Rabbit." Pooh replied.
"What about Eeyore?" Piglet asked, "D-D-Do you remember Eeyore, too, Pooh?"
"Oh, hello there, Eeyore." Pooh greeted, turning to the donkey, "It's ever so nice to see you today."
"Thanks for noticing me, Pooh Bear." Eeyore replied solemnly.
"And what about Sora?" Yui asked, waving her hand to Sora. He bent down to Pooh, hoping he would remember.
"Yes, hello there, Somebody-I-Don't-Know?" Pooh greeted him. Sora and Yui sighed. Pooh still didn't remember Sora.
"Well, at least you remember Rabbit and Eeyore now." Sora said optimistically.
"Let's go fix the next torn page, Sora." Yui suggested, "With any luck, that will restore Pooh's memory."
"Good idea." Sora agreed and the duo went back to the pages of the Storybook.
Sora and Yui walked back out to the storybook to see that Rabbit's House was officially back as well. "That's another part down." Yui stated.
"The next piece should be coming anytime now." said Sora.
They waited a few seconds, then another ball of light fell onto another torn part. There was a flash of light, and another piece was added in. "So who's house is that?" Yui asked, seeing the tree house and two pairs of mailboxes with it.
"That's Kanga and Roo's house." Sora explained, "C'mon. Pooh could be there right now." The duo dashed into the pop-up piece and into the next area.
They arrived at the tree house, and they saw Pooh and Piglet standing there, talking. The duo walked up to the two. "Hi!" Yui and Sora chimed in unison.
"Well, hello, Sora! Yui!" Piglet greeted them.
"Yes, hello there, Yui and Somebody-I-Don't-Know." Pooh greeted them.
"Guess his memories about you still aren't back, Sora." Yui sighed.
Just then, a kangaroo came hopping towards them, carrying a bottle of medicine with a young kangaroo in her pouch. Yui guessed that they were Kanga and Roo. The two greeted Sora and Yui. "Eeyore told me Pooh wasn't quite himself." Kanga explained, "I thought this might be just what the poor dear needed."
"Will that help Pooh get his memory back?" Yui asked.
"Yeah, I hope it'll make Pooh better!" hoped Roo.
Just then, the group turned to see a new face arrive at the scene. It was a tiger-like character, only he was jumping up and down using his tail, like it was a pogo stick. He made one final bounce and landed in the middle of the group. "Hello, there!" he exclaimed to the team around them, finally seeing Sora and Yui.
"Hey, Tigger." Sora greeted him.
"Sora!" Tigger addressed, "What a pleasure! And who might this geeerrl be?"
"I'm Yui." Yui greeted the tiger.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet ya!" Tigger replied, bounding up and shaking her hand, "I'm Tigger. That's T-I-double guh-er. That's spells 'Tigger'!"
Yui let go of Tigger's paw and looked to Sora, then back to Tigger. "You seem like an optimistic character." Yui complimented him.
"Optimizztical?" Tigger mispronounced.
"I mean you have such a joyous attitude." Yui corrected him.
Tigger made a hooting giggle. "Well of course!" Tigger replied, "And do you know why?"
"Oh, boy. Here it comes." Sora sighed. Then suddenly, Tigger entered a song and dance.
Oh, the wonderful thing about Tiggers,
Is Tiggers a wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber!
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
fun fun fun fun fun!
But the most wonderful things about Tiggers is
I'm the only one!
IIIIII'm the only one! 'growl'.
Yui got somewhat dazed, for she was spun around by Tigger near the end. "Oh…ok." she said, trying to refocus herself a bit.
Tigger turned to where Kanga and Roo were at, and saw the bottle in her hand. "A present! For me?" Tigger asked excitedly, "Why, presents are what Tiggers like best! And it's not even my birthday!" Before anyone could react, Tiggers snatched the bottle from Kanga's hands and bounded away on his tail, singing.
"But Tigger! That's not for you!" Kanga called to him.
"Wait, Tigger!" shouted Roo, hopping out of his pouch and started to pursue the springy tiger.
"Optimistic and self-centered." Yui described him, "What a scary combo."
"Oh, dear." moaned Piglet.
"C'mon, let's go after him." said Sora in an amused tone.
The team started to pursue Tigger, who dove into a bush. Sora parted through the bush, but Tigger was no longer there. The team looked around, wondering where he could be. Suddenly, Tigger appeared from Yui's side, who turned just in time to get pounced on. She tumbled over, and laid on her back, with Tigger on top of her. Tigger made a playful growl at her. "Don't do that again!" she cried, shaking off Tigger, "You could really hurt someone!"
"Ooh, sorry. Too much vigor for ya?" Tigger asked, ending with a hooting laugh. Yui stood up and brushed off her clothes.
Once they settled down, the team explained to Tigger the situation with Pooh. "You're saying Pooh even forgot about ME?!" Tigger asked in a preposterous manner.
"Yes, Tigger." Piglet answered him.
"That bottle you thought was a present was medicine to make Pooh better." Sora explained.
"Aw, who needs medicine?!" Tigger asked, "Why, some tiggeriffic bouncing will jog his memory for sure!" At these words, he jumped onto his tail and started bouncing around Sora and Yui, leading himself back to Pooh, who he stopped at. "Well, Pooh?" Tigger asked.
"That looks like fun, Somebody-I-Don't-Know." Pooh answered.
"Nothing, huh?" Hmm…" said a puzzled Tigger, then he found a solution, "Of course! We all gotta bounce together! That'll do the trick!"
"Even me?" Yui asked.
"Of course!" Sora replied, "It's more fun when you do it together!"
Yui seemed a bit puzzled herself. This wasn't something she was use to. With Kirito, the fun thing he did was fight monsters. Sure, they had family outings, but this wasn't with her family. "Ok, I'll give it a shot." Yui decided.
"That's perfect!" Tigger said joyously, "And I know of the perfect place for us to have loads of bouncy fun! Follow me!" He led the team towards the nearby creek, where they saw a trampoline attached to two trees. Above them, balloons kept floating by them.
"What's this?" Yui asked.
"Who-who-whooo!" chortled Tigger, "This here is my special bounce spot. Why, with all the bouncing we will do, this is sure to bring Pooh's memories a-comin'!"
"Oh boy! I want to start bouncing now!" Roo exclaimed.
"I'll carry Pooh on my back." Sora stated, "I'll bounce for him."
"This does look interesting." Yui said, looking up at the trampoline and balloons, "Let's get up there."
Tigger, Roo, Yui and Sora with Pooh got up onto the trampoline. The team started of with a few bounces, then Sora and Yui both jumped even higher. Sora managed to land on a balloon, and jump even higher. Yui noticed what he was doing, and landed on a balloon to jump higher. "My, those high bounces will be just the ticket to shake up Pooh's noggin'!" Tigger said as he and Roo watched them jump to higher areas, "Let's follow them!" Tigger made one tremendous leap, and followed Yui and Sora upward.
"Wait for me!" shouted Roo, and he too jumped higher.
Sora and Yui somehow turned their little jumping activity into a match to see who could go higher. Yui was actually enjoying herself with the bouncing. She was even laughing as she rose even higher, and didn't bother going into pixie form.
"This is fun!" Pooh said happily.
"It truly is." Sora agreed, landing on a green balloon and jumping even higher.
"I can't get enough of this!" Yui giggled, spinning in the air as she rose higher. Sora and Yui looked at each other, and bursted out laughing. It was truly fun for the both of them. Sora was especially glad to see Yui having the time of her life. She really started to act like how she looked; a child.
After a minute, the team decided that now should be a good time to head down again. They slowly and steadily came down to the trampoline, and got off it. Afterwards, the team walked back to Kanga and Roo's house again. Yui was still laughing, even after she came back. "I haven't had that much fun for the longest time!" Yui exclaimed excitedly, "I don't know why it felt great to bounce like that."
"It's because you're doing it with friends." Sora replied, causing Yui to look at him, "The more friends you're playing with, the happier it will be. That's why I have a lot of fun with Donald and Goofy."
"I never really thought of something like that." Yui stated, looking up at the sky, "Things are more fun with friends on your side… I really should start thinking like that. I really like that feeling." Sora grinned eagerly at Yui.
At Roo's house, the group gathered together again. "Who-who! I bet you remember me now, don't you, buddy-bear!" questioned Tigger.
"Well, I remember that bouncing always makes me hungry." Pooh answered him, shocking Tigger. The bounce-fest didn't work at all.
Tigger looked depressed. "All that bouncin' and he still doesn't remember me?" Tigger moaned, then he started to turn away, "Well then, I guess bouncin's not the answer. It makes a Tigger almost never wanna bounce again…" Tigger started to sob a bit.
"Tigger…" muttered Yui, sad to see the optimistic tiger look so sad. Tigger then looked at the medicine bottle he was carrying, and carelessly tossed it behind him.
"Oh, please be careful with that."
"Aw, sorry little Piglet…" apologized Tigger, "But Pooh not rememberin' me has me confuzled. I don't even feel like bouncin'!"
"Oh, but Tigger." Pooh started, "I always thought that bouncing was what Tiggers did best."
Tigger turned his head towards Pooh, then turned around to Pooh excitedly. "Pooh Boy!" gasped Tigger, "You remember me! You do remember your ol' buddy Tigger after all!" Tigger then hopped onto his tail and started bouncing around, laughing and enjoying himself like normal. Roo started to follow his bouncing path.
"I'm glad for you." Sora stated.
"Me too!" Yui agreed, examining Pooh, "But it looks like Pooh still doesn't remember you, Sora."
"Really? Oh well." Sora sighed, "I don't know about you, but I'm a bit exhausted. It's nearing nighttime, so we should head back home for the evening."
"Sounds great to me." Yui agreed, turning to the group, "We'll see you later! Have a good evening!"
"You too, Sora, Yui!" replied Kanga as the two turned away and headed towards the exit. Yui had a lot to say to her family.
That evening, Sora and Yui joined up with Kirito, Asuna, Donald and Goofy, where they found a place to stay for the night. Sora and Yui went on explaining about how bit by bit, Pooh's memories were starting to come back together. Although, they still haven't gotten Pooh's memories about Sora yet.
"I'm sure that tomorrow, Pooh will get his memories back." Asuna assured them.
"So did you have fun, Yui?" Kirito asked.
"Loads of fun!" Yui replied excitedly, "From flying through the wind to get Piglet, to sliding through the pages on a log, and all the bouncing we did together was the best of them all!"
"That's great." Asuna replied, happy to see her daughter looking so bright and cheery, "I'm glad you are enjoying yourself."
"So what about the group of guys that you were training while we were in Pooh's Storybook?" Sora asked.
"You mean the Moonlit Black Cats?" Kirito asked, "They're slow starters, but they're getting the hang of magic."
"Were gonna be trainin' them tomorrow." Goofy told them, "Ya wanna come?"
"Maybe for a little while." Sora replied, "I still want to help Pooh with the rest of his story."
"Okay, sounds fair." Kirito understood.
"Mama, can I go with Sora again tomorrow?" Yui asked Asuna.
"Of course." she answered, making Yui smile.
When Sora and Yui fell asleep, the latter resting on a pillow laid out for her, Kirito and Asuna looked at their adoptive daughter as they rested in bed together. "She really looked like she had a lot of fun with Sora today." Kirito pointed out, "It's something we haven't seen in a long time."
"Agreed." Asuna answered, "She acts so much more mature than most girls that look her age, like how she did in Tron's world. But despite being an AI, she is still a child deep down. I hope she still keeps that personality after all of this."
"I'm sure she will." Kirito told Asuna, "Though, to be fair, it's kinda hard for her to be a child with all the stuff we have to deal with in our lives."
"I'm sure she will have good role models on how to be a child in our group." Asuna stated, "Sora is one good example of that. And I know you have a tendency to be childish, too."
"How am I childish?" Kirito questioned.
"Where would I even begin with that?" Asuna asked, "How about your appetite? Or perhaps your excitement for new experiences and swords? I can list a lot of things."
"Hey, I'm mature!" Kirito argued, causing Asuna to giggle, "Come on! I am!" Kirito tried to make arguments on how mature he was before the two went to sleep.
The next morning, the team spent a couple hours with the five members of the Moonlit Black Cats with their magic and weapon training. They were pretty good as far as fighting skills went, and with the team's support, they started to improve. Merlin even gave them more magic skills as rewards. Despite the start, the one who handled the magic skills better was Sasamaru, who was really good with his Thunder magic. Sachi was great with long range magic and healing magic. Testuo and Keita were better off in the front lines in battles, even though Tetsuo was better with using all around magic. Ducker was swift, yet very skilled with the Reflect magic he was given.
After a while, Sora and Yui decided it was time they went back to Pooh's storybook again. They waved goodbye to the group, and walked back to Merlin's house. The two opened the door, and saw Merlin about to leave the house.
"Oh, it's you lot!" he said to them, "Going back to help Pooh again."
"Yes, sir." Yui replied, "We still have a couple more pages to add in, and hopefully Pooh will remember Sora again."
"I know he will." Merlin replied, "Now I should get going. That confounded Cid is irking me to no end, and I'm sure those boys and girl are improving quite well."
"They are." Sora told him, "They've really improved their skills. Go check and see."
"Very well then, I will." Merlin replied, and he walked through the door, and used magic to close the door behind him.
Sora and Yui walked over to Pooh's storybook, and opened it up to where the torn pages were. "Ready?" Sora asked. Yui nodded, and together they entered the pages.
They landed once again in the storybook, with Yui in her human form, looking around. The first three pieces of the book were already in place. Just then, another ball of light fell down to one of the torn parts, and a new piece was added to the book. This one looked like it led to a creepy cave of some sort.
"I wonder where this will take us?" Yui asked as she and Sora stepped towards it.
"If it will jog Pooh's memory, I don't mind." Sora replied, "Let's get moving!" And the two entered the new page.
Once they entered in, they found themselves in a dark cave, and everyone they met in the storybook was there…except for Pooh. The two walked to the group. "Hey, everyone…" Sora and Yui greeted them, drawing their attention.
"Uh-oh… Where's Pooh?" Sora asked, looking at the group.
"He went in there." Piglet answered in a worried tone. The team looked further into the cave where they saw that there were blue crystals that hanged from the walls.
Everyone turned to Yui and Sora. "Do you think there might be a jagular hiding inside?" Rabbit asked.
I think he means 'jaguar'. Yui thought to herself.
"Jagular…well, now." Owl started, "That reminds me of when dear cousin Alphonse…"
"Say, why are you all sitting around here?" Sora asked abruptly, "If you're worried about that bear, let's go find him!"
"He's right." Yui agreed, "Pooh's stuck in those caves, so why are you here instead?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking!" Tigger stated pompously.
"Yeah, let's go!" Roo seconded.
"But if there really is a jagular, we'd better think this through." said Rabbit.
"It seems we've got a bit of time." Owl stated, "Why don't I just resume where I left off? My cousin, that is, my father's younger sister's…"
"What do you think we should do, Sora and Yui?" Kanga asked.
Sora and Yui started to think a bit. Finally, Yui replied, "Let's go in, but we shouldn't go in as a full crowd. Sora and I should obviously go in first, but if anyone wants to join us, feel free to do so."
"Then count me in!" Tigger said excitedly.
"I'll go in, too!" Roo stated.
"I suppose I should go with you." Eeyore sighed, "Not that I would be of any help."
"I m-m-maybe scared, but Pooh's in that cave, so I-I-I should go as well."
"Ok, then." Sora stated turning to the caves. The six people walked to the entrance, and together, they entered the caves. "Forward march!" Sora ordered, and the team entered in.
It was obvious that the trip wasn't gonna be there were no jaguars, there were falling rocks that would've hurt them if Sora didn't stop the crew. However, it was obvious to Yui that their four helpers weren't exactly fearless like her and Sora. They proceeded nevertheless, hoping to see Pooh again. The team had to carefully cross an icy part of the cave, to which everyone tried their best to avoid slipping and falling. As they were about to round a corner, when suddenly a group of bees swarmed in. It scared the four quite a bit, but while Yui tried to keep them calm, Sora whacked away all of the bees, making sure the coast was clear. Once that was done, they proceeded forward. Sora and Yui found some interesting items in the cave, including a recipe. However, there were still more of the same obstacles they had to deal with, including another pack of bees. This time, the four lost their courage, and started running around frantically, scared out of their wits.
"Yui, do something!" Sora stated as he whacked away a few more bees.
Yui turned to see all of the others scattered. Yui dashed over and grabbed Piglet, and held him in her arms. "I-I-It's to scary!" Piglet stammered, "I can't go any further." Piglet buried himself into Yui, shivering. Tigger, Roo and Eeyore drew near.
Yui looked down at the four, then she unraveled a hand and started to pat Piglet kindly. "Don't worry about anything." Yui told him, "Things will turn out just fine."
"How do you know?" Roo asked her, also scared.
"Because we're all together." Yui answered, and Piglet looked up at her. Sora cleared all the bees and turned to her. "Friends aren't just there to make things more fun, but to also give each other support when they're down or scared." Yui explained, looking at them, "Each of you wanted to do everything they could to help Pooh. That's why you're in here, isn't it?" Tigger, Eeyore and Roo all looked to each other. Yui set Piglet down to them. "So then, shall we keep moving?" Yui asked them. The four of them nodded in response.
Sora tapped Yui's shoulder, and she turned to see Sora smirking at her, giving her a thumbs up. Yui smiled back. All she was doing was fulfilling her duties as a Mental Health Counseling Program. The team proceeded forward, now filled with courage once more. There were still more obstacles, but now the team could take them. There were a few more bees, but Sora cleared the way before passing a path of ice.
Once they did so, they saw that the end of the cave was a room surrounded by large blue crystal. In the middle of room was a stack of rocks, and sitting on a bunch of flat rocks was Pooh himself, looking as if he was thinking. "Pooh! There you are!" Sora exclaimed, reaching him.
"You had us worried there, Pooh." Yui told him. Just as the four members got there, suddenly, all of the other storybook characters they left behind appeared from around the corner. They were just as worried as they were.
"Hey…we looked everywhere for you." Sora told Pooh as everyone gathered around.
"I was looking for a very dear friend that I remember I made a very important promise to." Pooh explained. Yui wondered who this very important person was, and why was Pooh looking for him or her in here.
"So, did you find him?" Sora asked.
"No, I looked and looked. But he doesn't seem to be anywhere." Pooh replied in a sorrowful manner.
Just then, Tigger came pouncing on top of Pooh, knocking him off the rock. "Oh, Pooh Boy!" Tigger exclaimed, getting off him, "So there you are."
"But, Tigger, did you have to bounce me so…bounce-ily?" Pooh asked, rubbing his head as he sat up.
"You could have given him a concussion." Yui told him.
"Gosh, I thought a jagular had gotten ya!" Tigger sighed in relief.
Pooh stood up and started thinking on these words. "Oh dear." said Pooh, looking at the group, "I hadn't thought of that. I do hope a jagular hasn't gone and gobbled up my friend!"
"Now, try to remember, Pooh." Kanga told the bear, "Isn't Sora the one you're looking for?"
Yui looked to Sora. "You mean Sora was the person you made a promise too?" she asked, looking to Pooh, then back at Sora, who smirked somewhat innocently.
Just then, there was a large growl that echoed across the room, startling Pooh. "Oh! The jagular!" he gasped fearfully.
"No, it's just your tummy grumbling." Sora corrected him, kneeling down on one knee so they were at a level, "You must be hungry. C'mon, let's head home and see if we can find you some honey."
"I'd like that, Sora." Pooh replied.
Sora and Yui gasped. "Pooh! You-you finally remembered!" Sora said excitedly.
"Remembered what, Sora?" Pooh asked, confused.
"What do you mean 'remember what'?" Yui asked exasperatedly. Yui and Sora looked to each other, and sighed. Pooh may not be bright, but he still cared.
"Pooh…" Sora muttered, smirking at him.
"I like it ever so much when you're cheerful, Sora." Pooh told him.
"Me too, Pooh." Sora replied, standing up straight again.
"I'm so glad you are back to normal, Pooh." Yui told him.
"Oh… There's a bit of a rumbly in my tumbly." Pooh moaned, rubbing his belly.
"All right. Then let's go home!" Sora declared, lowering himself and holding his hand out. Pooh took his hand. Sora nodded to Yui, and she held Pooh's other hand as the team walked out of the cave.
As they got out of the cavern, Sora and Yui noticed noticed something on the ground. It was a new Keyblade Keychain. It had a green chain with a bee as the medallion on the end. "That's the 'Sweet Memories' Keyblade." Yui explained as Sora went and picked it up, "It doesn't have any physical prowess, but a good amount of magic. Plus, it can convert munny drops into Drive power."
Sora pocketed the keychain as he asked, "I wonder why it was here?"
"It must have come when Pooh remembered you, Sora." Yui replied, "The bond between you two created this Keyblade." Sora and Yui looked to Pooh, who was confused at what just happened. Nevertheless, they smiled at each other. This bond of friendship could never be broken by the torn pages. Not if Sora or Yui had anything to say about it.
Yui and Sora brought Pooh and their friends back to Pooh's House, and decided to step out into the storybook again. When they came back out, they found the page to Spooky Cave had been fully restored. "And then there was one." Yui stated, looking at the last torn part of the book.
They waited for a while, then a ball of light fell onto place, revealing the final missing piece of the storybook. "That's Starry Hill." Sora told Yui, seeing the picture of the moonlit hill. The two walked up to the page, looked to each other, then walked right in.
They walked right into the page, and it was nighttime. The stars were out, only shadowed by the trees and the moonlight. "Oh, bother!" moaned a familiar voice. They turned to the hill where the one large tree stuck out of the scenery, and a hollow log laid next to it. They saw Pooh sitting there, with a pot of honey over his head, or rather his head was stuck in the honey pot.
The two walked across the bridge for a better look. "Are you all right?" Sora called out.
"Say something!" shouted Yui.
"Sora? Yui? Is that you?" cried Pooh as the duo dashed over the bridge, "Help!" The two rushed over to the top of the hill, finding a Cosmic Ring along the way. Sora and Yui reached Pooh's side, seeing the stuck honey pot on his head, and Owl standing right next to him.
"Are you alright?" Sora asked.
"Oh, I'm just stuck." Pooh answered him.
"This is the umpteenth time I've seen Pooh like that!" Owl moaned, seeing the stuck bear.
"Well, let's you out." Yui told him, looking up at Sora and they nodded together, knowing what has to be done. Yui helped Pooh to his feet, and the two grabbed him by the waist.
"One…" Sora counted.
"Two…" Yui followed.
"Three!" they shouted in unison, and they tossed Pooh into the air. Pooh was tossed high, then fell. Sora grabbed Pooh by the feet, and started hurdling him around. Yui went into her pixie form, and grabbed the honey pot while it was spinning, and started to pull. With the duo working together, the pot popped off of Pooh's head. Yui almost got carried along with it, but let go of the pot as it flew off into the distance. Sora, who still held Pooh, and Yui, back in her human form, sighed in relief, and placed Pooh on the ground again.
"There you go! Safe and sound." said Yui cheerfully to the bear.
"Oh, thank you so much." Pooh thanked them, walking over to the fallen log and sitting down on it. Sora and Yui sat down on either side of Pooh, gazing at the moon.
"So what were you doing here?" Sora asked.
"I was thinking; Perhaps there's a way to make it so you won't go away." Pooh told the duo.
"You mean a way to make us stay?" Yui asked.
"Yes." Pooh answered, "Would there be such a thing as a way to make it so you don't go away again?"
"Pooh…" Sora muttered as the two looked sympathetic to the bear. They looked up at the moon, thinking. Yui was thinking more. She wasn't from this dimension. She realized that if she went back home, she would never see Pooh again, nor Sora for that matter. It did worry her, because this little expedition they had these past couple days was absolutely fun, just the two of them. She would be incredibly sad to leave her friends behind.
"Don't worry." Sora told Pooh, "I promise we'll come back and visit you now and then."
"Could you make it 'now and now' instead?" Pooh asked, "That seems a bit better to me. Sora, Yui, if I go looking for you, will I find you?"
Yui was hesitant on answering. She turned away, shadowing her eyes. "I-I'm afraid…" Yui started to answer, but Sora cut in before she could finish.
"We'll always be with you, right here." Sora answered, pointing to Pooh's heart, "You don't have to go anywhere. Just stay here, and you can see me anytime you want." Yui looked to Sora with a puzzled expression, then touched the part her heart was at.
"You mean I just have to stay right here?" Pooh asked Sora, touching his heard.
"Yep, that's all." Sora replied simply.
"Would you promise?" Pooh asked.
"Promise." Sora replied.
Pooh turned to Yui, who saw she was being noticed as he asked, "Would you promise, Yui?"
"Y-Yeah." Yui replied, taking a deep breath before smiling, "I promise as well."
"I promise too!" cried Piglet, who suddenly appeared between Sora and Pooh. Suddenly, all of the friends Sora and Yui made gathered up around them.
"And so do Roo and I." Kanga told them.
"We sure do!" agreed Roo.
"You two are welcome to visit us anytime, Sora and Yui." Rabbit stated.
"Thanks." Sora replied.
"T-Thanks." Yui stammered, tears starting to form in her eyes.
"After all, I must tell you of my Uncle Albert's adventures at sea." Owl told them.
"Guess you'll be stayin' awhile." Eeyore moaned. Sora chuckled at this.
"Goodbye, Sora. Goodbye, Yui." Gopher said to them.
"Thanks, Gopher." Sora replied, while Yui nodded.
"If you ever get lonely, just start bouncin' and think of your pal Tigger!" chimed Tigger.
"I will, Tigger!" said Yui, trying her best to hold back the tears.
Sora got off the log and stood up. "Time for us to go, Yui." Sora told her.
"You're leaving?" Pooh asked the two as they got together.
"Yes. We really have to go." Sora told him.
"Well, I won't be sad, because you'll always be right here forever and ever. Right Sora?" Pooh told them, touching his heart. Sora looked pleased.
Yui was having a hard time holding back the tears, and she took off behind the tree. "Yui?!" Sora called out, and he ran right after her. She was on the opposite side of the tree, hidden from everyone's view. Sora noticed her, and drew in close. "You ok, Yu…" Sora started, but he noticed Yui's tears were free-falling from her face, "What's wrong?"
Yui looked up at Sora, tears still falling. "Sora, I don't want to leave you." she sobbed, "You're like a family to me, just like Kirito and Asuna." This was the first time Sora ever heard her address the two by their names. "I know I have to go back." Yui continued, "But I'm afraid I'll never see you again. I'm afraid I'll never see Pooh or any of his friends again. It hurts so much. Why does it hurt so much that I am thinking this way?" She started to cry even more.
Sora looked sympathetically at Yui. Finally, he knelt down a bit so their faces were at a level. "You don't have to think that way." Sora told her, making her look up, "You will always get to see us again. Just like with Pooh, I will always be with you right here." he pointed a finger at Yui's heart. "And so will Pooh and all his friends, just like how you, Pooh, and everyone else will always be right here, too." He touched his own heart as he finished.
Yui looked up at him, admiring Sora's strength and confidence at his words. She finally couldn't hold back any longer, and she wrapped her arms around Sora, and cried with all her heart. She truly cared a lot for Sora's heart. She considered him family like her mama and papa. It was so much fun being with him. These were memories she would treasure forever. Sora didn't force her off. He wrapped his arms around her, comforting her. Despite her incredible wisdom and skills, she was still a child. A child with a bright and kind heart.
For a minute it was like this. Then Pooh and everyone rounded to where they were at. "Are you ok, Yui?" Pooh asked with a worried tone.
Yui calmed herself and wiped away the tears from her face. "Yeah…" she croaked, "I just…needed a good cry, that's all." She forced a smile on her face again, "I promise you that I will see you again. And if I can't see you face to face, you will always be here, stored within my memories." she touched her heart once more. Pooh smiled eagerly at this. "And you as well, Sora." Yui said, turning to him.
"Same here." Sora replied. The two went to the edge of the hill, and dropped off. As they crossed the bridge, they turned to Pooh and his friends, and waved at them. They waved back. Sora and Yui looked to each other, and walked off, back to the pages of the storybook, and back to Merlin's place.
Kirito, Asuna, Donald. Goofy and Merlin were all standing there, waiting. Finally, Pooh's storybook glowed bright, and out came Sora and Yui, now in her pixie form.
"You guys are back!" Kirito exclaimed as the two walked over to the crowd.
"How'd everything go?" Donald asked.
"Pooh's back to normal again." Sora answered.
"Everything is restored back to the way it was." Yui added, turning to the book to see it close.
Just then, the ripped front page glowed brightly. It disappeared to reveal a new picture. The title 'Winnie the Pooh' was still there, but now the picture was that of Sora, Human Yui and Pooh, sitting back and looking up into the starry sky.
"Oh, wow." gasped Yui as she led the group to the new cover of the book.
"Sounds like you had a certain impact to that book." Asuna told Yui. Yui only looked at the book, smiling.
Suddenly, the book glowed once again, only this time two different objects came out; three new magic orbs and a special gem. "These are Cure Elements." Merlin explained to the group, "It would seem your Cure magic will get an upgrade."
"We're already at Cura." Sora stated, "So the next one should be…"
"Curaga." Yui ended his sentence.
"Sounds great." Asuna stated as the Keyblade wielders took the orbs.
"And this gem is an Orichalcum +." Yui explained, pointing at the gem, "They are extremely rare. However, if you collect enough, along with the right recipe, you can definitely get something good."
"Hey, I think I found one at Tron's World before we fought the MCP." Kirito stated, pulling an Orichalcum + from his own pocket and showing it to Sora.
"Cool! Let's make sure we find enough, along with the recipe." Sora told him. The team agreed to find all the pieces.
"If you are looking for those little gems, add mine to your group." said Leafa, who just stepped in with Recon after taking over their shift of training the Moonlit Black Cats. She pulled out an Orichalcum + from her own pocket.
"Where did ya…?" started Goofy.
"At the Sunset Terrace at Twilight Town." Leafa answered, "While we were exploring, we found this little gem in a treasure chest. I was wondering what I should do with it, but I think it's better in your hands." She gave the gem to Asuna, who took it graciously.
"Thanks." Asuna thanked them.
"Now that Pooh's Storybook is back to normal, we should probably get back to the adventure." Sora told the crew, "We still have more worlds to save."
"Good thinking." Kirito agreed, "Lets step outside and get ready to move out."
"Goodbye, Merlin!" said Donald as the team waved to Merlin.
"Take care, everyone." Merlin replied, waving back as they exited the door.
The team only stopped to grab some of Donald's uncle Scrooge's freshly developed sea-salt ice cream. The taste of those ice cream bars was actually pretty good. Kirito mentioned to Asuna that he would love her to someday make this at SAO or better yet IRL. Asuna replied that she was already planning to do something like that.
Once they were prepared, they gathered together, with Leafa and Recon stepping away from them. "Ready to go?" Sora asked the crew. They nodded.
Goofy was about to call for the Gummi Ship when some shouted, "Hold on!" They turned to see the Moonlit Black Cats running up the stairs to see them.
"Merlin told us you were leaving." Tetsuo stated, "Does that mean you aren't coming back?"
"We'll be back." Asuna replied, "We probably should come here before the big fight against Organization XIII's stronghold."
The guild members look to each other, then back at the crew. "Well…I guess this is goodbye for now, right?" Sasamaru assumed.
"We'll miss you guys!" Ducker told them.
"Goodbye, Kirito, Asuna." Sachi said to them.
"Don't be gone too long, okay?" Keita asked them.
"We won't." Sora replied eagerly.
Goofy activated the device, calling upon the Gummi Ship's light to beam them up. "We'll be rooting for you from here!" Sasamaru shouted as they waved at them.
"Be safe!" Tetsuo called to them. The team waved back, and the next second, they were teleported upwards to the Gummi Ship's control room again.
The team settled back into their seats as Yui went to the controls. "Those guys were a lot of fun!" Goofy stated.
"They sure were." Sora agreed.
"I know they can't come back with us to SAO, but at we know they are ok." Kirito stated, looking down at Radiant Garden.
"As long as we remember them, they will always be with us." Yui quoted, drawing the group's attention to her.
"Where did you get that?" Asuna asked her.
"Sora taught me that." Yui answered, looking to Sora, and the two grinned eagerly at each other. Kirito and Asuna looked to one another, and smirked, seeing the happy face of their daughter.
"All right, Yui. Set course for our next destination!" Sora declared.
"You got it!" Yui replied, and with a push of a button, they were soaring off to the next world.
