-Noceda Residence: Sunday-

Amity threw her bag of clothes on the lower bunk. She took out the clothes and spread them. She found it weird, even though she had gotten many clothes from her parents, this time it felt different. She got to choose what she wanted to wear. She made her own choices. Amity listened as Luz rummaged through the bookcase next to her.

"Oh, here they are," Luz said, pulling out a collection of Good Witch Azura books. Amity forgetting about the clothes turned towards Luz. "Wow, you really have all of them!" Amity said excitedly. Luz grabbed one of the books, "Yup, even this limited edition one with special cover art."

Amity grabbed it and examined the artwork, "Woah." The girls were interrupted from their little fan-girl session by a knock at the door and Camila walking in. "Hey Girls, I've got something to tell you," she looked at Amity, ", especially you."

"What is it, Mom?" Luz said, concerned. Camila rubbed Luz's head, "Calm down it's nothing bad," she looked at the both of them, "Today I got a phone call…"

Luz and Amity waited and waited with Camila saying nothing, but Luz got impatient. "Come on, tell us!" Luz begged. Camila let out a chuckle, "Ok, ok just wanted to mess with you. The call I got today was from the school. They agreed to take Amity as a transfer student."

Both the girls went wide-eyed and exclaimed at the same time, "What!?"

-Blight Manor-

Edric lay down on his bed with a loud sigh, "I am sore in places I didn't even know you could get sore." Emera laid on her bed on the opposite side of the room agreeing with Ed, "Yeah, I'm with you, and I got dirt in places I don't want to mention."

"Gross," Edric let out, "Didn't need to know that, but I agree. I need to shower." They both closed their eyes, hoping to get at least a couple of minutes of shut-eye before showering and confronting their mother. They both knew that they had failed her today, they knew failure led to harsh punishments.

Their rest was quickly ended with their mother bursting into their room. She immediately pinched her nose, "Ugh, you guys need to shower." Edric and Emera sat up immediately, and Odalia went on, "So, Did you guys find anything." She eyed the two down.

Ed and Em stared at each other, neither knowing who was gonna break the news.

After getting tired of not getting a response Odalia sighed, "I'm guessing from the silence, you have nothing." Ed and Em simply nodded. They both looked down at their bed covers waiting for their punishment to be given.

"Well that's fine."

The twins quickly looked up in surprise. Odalia went on, "I'll just have someone else do it." She started making her way out the door. Just before she shut it she turned around, "Dinner's in an hour, so please shower, you two stink."

The door slammed with silence filling the room. "What just happened?" Emera asked not, particularly to anyone. Edric still responded, "I have no idea. I swore we were gonna get punished."

Edric looked at his sister, "I have a bad feeling about this though, we need to find Amity before she does." His sister nodded, "Yeah, but we have a problem. What are we gonna do about school."

Ed thought for a moment, there was no way that they could go to school and complete the owl lady's tasks at the same time. "We are just going to have to do the tasks immediately after school." Ed suggested.

Emera nodded and then looked out the window, "Amity, I hope you stay safe."

-Human Realm: Monday-

"Are you sure this is safe?" Amity asked as Camila was throwing together a backpack for her to use. It was the next morning after Camila told her she was going to school, and Amity still wasn't so sure about going to a human school. What if they find out she is not human.

"It's going to be fine. Everyone thinks you are a transfer student, and Luz will be with you the entire time," Camila said, noticing the girl's worried face. Amity touched her ears, "What are we going to do about these?"

Camila zipped up the backpack and looked at Amity, "I told Luz to figure something out." She looked up at the stairway, "Luz come down here, it's time for school!"

Amity listened to the thumping of Luz's feet as she made her way to the stairs. "I'm here, I'm here," Luz announced once she was at the top of the stairs, but on her way down she missed a step. Amity watched in horror and then amazement as Luz tumbled all the way down and miraculously landed on her feet. Luz threw her hands up, "Landed it!"

Camila leaned in to whisper to Amity, "You wouldn't believe how many times that happens." This got a little giggle out of Amity as Camila walked up to Luz fixing her hair, "Aie, What am i gonna do with you,"

"Oh yeah," Luz said remembering what she was looking for, "I got some things for your ears, Amity." Luz held out a beanie, "This was from me trying to be an angsty teen. Tried going by Lucia, but it didn't work out." Amity just stared at Luz, not sure what to say, but without skipping a beat Luz then held out a hairband, " But I thought this might work better."

Amity grabbed the hair band from Luz's hand and put it on, making sure to cover her ears. Once she made sure that it was secure, she asked Luz, "How does it look?" Luz stared at Amity without saying a word for a couple of moments. Realizing that she hadn't spoken, Luz blurted out, "You look cute." Luz realized what she said went red and corrected herself, "I mean it looks good."

Amity rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment at the compliment. Camila just watched the two girls with a little smile. She handed Amity her backpack and started pushing the two out the door, "Alright come on. Let's get you guys to school."

-Gravesfield High-

Amity stepped out of the metal box that they called a car and looked at the school in front of her. Even though she was unsure about school she agreed that she shouldn't be left alone at the house. So she would go with it, at least for now.

"Butterflies in your stomach?" Luz nudged Amity with her elbow, "Don't worry, it happened to me too." Amity looked at Luz as she stared at the school with a somber expression. Luz quickly got behind Amity and started to push forward, "We're gonna be late, come on."

As they were heading towards the school Amity heard Camila call out from the car, "Have a good day at school you two, I'll try to get out of work early!" And with the door closing behind her, Amity was at school.

Amity looked around the school as she was walking and was surprised at how similar the school was to Hexside. Of course, the lockers didn't look like they could eat you at any moment but were still similar. Looking forward, Amity noticed that Luz had walked ahead of her and sped up to catch up to her.

As the two were making their way through the school Amity noticed people whispering around her. She assumed it was about her, with her being a new student and everything.

So, she listened out to see if she could catch anything, and right away her suspicions were proven when she would hear a, "Who's she? here and a, "A new student," there. There was one more thing she picked up too,

"Oh look Luzer finally has a friend."

"Poor new girl, having to have to be with that weirdo."

Amity looked at Luz to see if she was hearing any of this, but Luz had the widest grin on her face. Just then Luz looked at Amity, "I'm so excited to show you human school. Probably not as exciting as witch school though." Amity was confused by Luz's attitude even with the gossip around her, but not wanting to ruin her mood, she went along with it.

"Yeah, not as… horrific. But very surprisingly similar," Amity replied, "You know our lockers are demons, and you put your stuff in their mouths." Amity looked at Luz and saw her excited face. Amity giggled a bit.

"Oh, here's our first class, Math. You have math right?" Luz said, stopping in front of a door. Amity chuckled, "Yeah we have math."

Luz opened the door, "Ok let's head in."

-Lunchtime-

Luz and Amity were walking through the cafeteria with their trays of food trying to find a place to sit. Amity wasn't sure what a lot of the stuff they were offering was so she just went with the safe option of the one thing she did know, peanut butter and jelly. Up ahead they saw some open seats and headed towards them. Once they sat down Luz asked, "So, what do you think of school?"

"Oh, um, It's not that bad. I didn't know that human history was that interesting, " Amity responded as she picked her sandwich, "I also didn't know that you get to choose your leader." She took a bite.

"Yeah, that's our president. Wait, what's your leader?" Luz asked. "We have an Emperor. His name is Emperor Belos, he came into power before I was born, but he brought the Boiling Isles together under the coven system," Amity responded. She looked up at Luz seeing her stare at her, "Oh you probably don't want to hear all that boring stuff." Luz immediately started waving her arms frantically, "No, no, this is super interesting. I knew all this time that there had to be magic, and now that it's here, I want to know all about it."

Amity smiled and was about to go on but that was before a familiar voice cut her off, "Man, you really do never stop talking about magic. Do you?" Amity and Luz looked up to see a group of girls with Amanda at the head. "Oh hey, Amanda!" Luz said, clearly trying hard to keep her attitude.

"Don't talk to me Luzer, I'm here for her," Amanda said looking at Amity. Amity squinted at her, "What do you want with me?" Amanda put her hands up, "No need to be aggressive new girl," she put her hand out offering to Amity, "Join me and my group and leave this half-a-human Luz."

Amity went wide-eyed at the name and was suddenly aware of the horrible feeling she had yesterday, it was the same feeling from when she would bully Willow. This was exactly the same way she treated Willow back in the demon realm. Amity was broken out of her thoughts when a chair scooted out and Luz ran off.

"Good riddance," Amanda said as she watched the girl run off, but Amanda jumped when a loud bang came off the table. Everyone in the cafeteria looked at Amity, standing now, staring at Amanda. She pointed a finger at Amanda, "You know I used to be like you, a bully, at my old school. I know why you do it too, cause you're weak, and you think if you bully others you'll be strong." Amanda stared at Amity not knowing what to say. Amity put her hand down, "And you know what, I'm going to change that, I hope you can too." Amity started to walk away but after a couple of steps she turned around, "and If i see you mess with Luz again, you'll have hell to pay," then she walked off.

As Amanda watched Amity run off she slammed her fist onto the table, "Stupid, new girl. You'll pay for this."

Luz sat between some vending machines with her head in her arms. This was the place she went when Amanda got too much. She tried to act okay around Amity, she didn't want her to worry, but after Amanda offered Amity to join her, she didn't want to hear her response, she didn't want to lose another friend, so she ran.

Of course, she knew that Amity would do that, probably, from a couple of days she knew her, but she didn't know.

With her head down, she heard someone walk up to her. "Hey, are you doing okay," she heard Amity say. After a moment of not saying anything, Luz heard Amity sit next to her. "Don't worry I declined Amanda's offer, hard. But you know, I used to be like Amanda. Bullying to keep a strong appearance." Luz finally looked up at Amity with a shocked expression.

"Don't worry, I'm deciding to leave that behind. I never realized how much it hurts people," Amity looked down away from Luz hiding her guilt. Amity felt as Luz wrapped her arms around her. "I'm sorry for not telling you about my school life. I've been excluded at school ever since the beginning. I just didn't want you to see me like this. And I know you're a nice person despite your past."

Amity and sat there for a couple of moments, but were interrupted when the bell went off. Luz got up letting go of Amity, wiping her eyes she said, "Well time to get to class, sorry I had to bring you into this."

Amity stood up too, "Don't worry, you have a witch on your side now. If they bother you just call."

Luz blushed at the Witch but turned around to hide it. "Welp time to go," she said speeding off.

"Wait for me!" Amity said chasing after her.

OMAC001: Love how Eda takes advantage of desperate kids! Guessing Amanda's the cheerleader from episode one? Hope she gets some comeuppance!

Writer: Yeah this was a plan I had for a while. And yes this is the same cheerleader chick. Figured she would be the best character to be a bully.

Mando Whisky: What the fudge Camila?! Why would you sell Amity out like that?

Writer: See you had nothing to worry about. Still had you tricked, huh? :)

Drawman98: Great chapter, but Camila's phone call is making me feel very nervous. Hopefully, it all ends well. Also, I really like the book store moment. Keep up the good work!

Writer: Thank you very much. Yup, that was my plan to make you all nervous and worried with that phone call. And now you have nothing to worry about... for now. ;)

Knightrise: Great chapter I can't wait to read more and here's an idea for a fanfic to make when you're done finishing this one. Season one Amity from the episode lost in language gets sent to the Yo-Kai watch universe specifically The game version to regain the meaning of friendship

Writer: Thank you, and thank you for the idea, but unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with Yo-Kai watch. But great idea nonetheless.

SreznoJIG: Great new chapter! Wait… does this mean Camila is turning Amity over to the Us Governor's?! I sure hope not

Writer: Nope, but of course, you already know that. Glad I got the reaction I wanted.

Surprise early release for you guys. I really enjoyed reading your reviews for this chapter. Seeing you guys freak out Camila's phone call was exactly the response that I wanted to get.

I wanted to relieve your worry by releasing early. I'll still try and release a new chapter on Thursday so don't worry.

I hope you enjoyed my story and I'll see you Thursday!

Sincerely,

SomeRandomWriter
