Earth 1, Star City
''This can't be right'' Ava Sharpe protested.
She hadn't been able to hide her disapproval when she'd come into the Director's office and seen that Snart was already there - sitting in one of the visitor chairs and wearing A.R.G.U.S. uniform, albeit with a defining X emblem. John Diggle was also present.
Her protest came on the heels of what the Director had just told her. She was aware of the method used in X Unit to select prisoners for repatriation - something that, from a legal point of view, would be regarded as no different from Snart selecting the number of an Earth at random. And now he was saying -.
''It wouldn't be the first time we were infiltrated'' John Diggle pointed out.
She could have replied that it would be worthwhile turning their gaze on some of the dubious characters that had been allowed into X Unit - first these 'Legends' and now the Arrow team.
''Do you know who it is?'' she forced herself to speak to him directly.
She knew herself well enough to realise that her dislike for Snart was partly jealousy - she was attracted to Sara - but that wasn't the whole story. He was a felon, a killer, arrogant and didn't care about the rules - she had to pull her thoughts back to the present situation.
''The man I was probing didn't know - only that there was a mole in this building.''
''We're going to have screen everyone'' John Diggle observed.
Lyla nodded. ''For security reasons, I'd like Hunter, Heywood and Dibney to handle the background checks.''
It took Ava a moment to realise that the Director was talking about three members of X Unit. She swallowed her inclination to make another protest.
''And someone from your Unit would need to be involved'' Lyla added.
Someone she could trust to keep an eye on this bunch. She knew exactly who she'd choose.

Sara stood to one side, while Thea and Roy eased past her, carrying a bulky piece of equipment between them. The Arrows were moving into their part of the building, bringing what looked like the entire contents of the old bunker with them.
She walked on into her section of the building, to find that she was one of the last to arrive. The field teams were getting ready to go out. She moved to stand beside Nora who, like her, was dressed in everyday clothes. They would be wandering the city centre, window shopping, eating out, keeping their eyes and ears open for any sign of trouble. Their Red and White Canary outfits were stashed in the shoulder bags they both carried.
Mick and Joanne had already left, heading for a meeting with some of Lady Midnight's old friends from her Survivalist days. They formed a loose network (which A.R.G.U.S. knew nothing about officially) stomping on trouble when it showed its face in their neighbourhoods.
Carter and Kendra were due to do the same kind of task as the two Canaries.
The harbour was the focus for Martin, Jax and Ray, where a dispute over pay and conditions was beginning to turn ugly. They'd identified a few people who seemed to be stirring things up and Leonard was joining them to check the suspects out.
The 'Mole Hunters' - Rip, Nate and Ralph - were gathered around Nate's computer. They'd been working through the personnel records and picked out a group of some twenty people who they thought might be worth investigation. There was a bit of a debate starting on which one Ralph should tail first when -.
''I'm here to join you'' a female voice said.
She'd purposefully waited until the field teams had headed out before making her entrance. When the three at the computer swivelled round to stare at her, she held up her ID card.
''Dinah Drake.''

The morning had been interesting in terms of observing fashion trends in shop windows but hadn't yielded very much otherwise, until Sara suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. She'd seen a familiar face reflected in the current window.
She was too well-trained to turn round suddenly, but Nora heard her sudden intake of breath.
''What?''
''She's here. Naomi.''
Nora also focussed on who was across the street, talking to a man neither of the watchers knew.
