Benjamin Martin and few other men got back at the camp, absolutely furious. They randomly saw Tavington all alone and Martin's anger made him try to attack him. It was thoughtless and of course, it didn't work.

Andrew sat next to a fire burning, lost in his thoughts when Gabriel joined him with a glass of whisky.

"What are you thinking about? You seem so sad," Gabriel asked.

"Yeah, no. That's fine. When I came here, you remember I told you I was with two friends, but I still don't have a clue where they are. I thought I would have found them by now," he replied. "But anyway, how was the ride today?"

"You'll never believe who we came upon?"

"Who?"

"Tavington."

"Oh shit man, what happened?"

"I think he was actually proposing. Father called on him and we tried to take him down. Billings was pretty close but he hit the woman. After, everything went down when other dragoons joined. We had to leave in a hurry. Maybe this woman will be his weakness."

"She truly doesn't know what she is getting into. What does she look like?"

"You are right, she must be crazy. But beautiful. Dark blond hair, fair skin, blue eyes. Her dress looked expensive. Tavington must dress her like a doll."

Andrew took a very long sip of whisky; Olivia had dark blond hair, fair skin and blue eyes.

"And she wore many earrings on the same ear, I could see the sun reflecting on the diamond even if I was a bit far off," Gabriel said.

"Many earrings, you said?" Andrew choked on his sip.

"Maybe three or four on her right ear. I could not really see the other side. The diamonds were really picking up the sun."

Olivia wore many earrings like Gabriel described; four on her right ear and three on the left. Andrew remembered because Olivia had taken is ex girlfriend to get piercing and tattoos together; it was like an addiction for both girls at first. Olivia stopped after her ears and bellybutton, which still made 8 piercings, and only two very subtle tattoos, but Andrew's ex was spending all her money on those pieces of arts, as she used to call it.

All Andrew could think of was how unsafe Olivia was with the butcher. She always had shitty relationships, toxic men that didn't know her worth. How many times did she knock on Matt's door, or his, in the middle of the night, crying, sometimes even with a black eye. Once again, even in here, she went for the narcissistic man who had just killed a teenage boy in cold blood, not even blinking his eyes.

"Are you okay, Andrew?" Gabriel asked, since Andrew was lost in his thoughts.

"Yeah, yeah. I just think you are describing my friend Olivia. She wears many earrings like you described."

"And your friend would be marrying the butcher? A British officer?"

"I don't know, I am sure she is only trying to survive. She probably stumbled into a British camp and he set his eyes on her. She is indeed beautiful. Don't you think he coerced her? That seems to be his style; to get all he wants without asking," Andrew understood how Olivia getting married to a red coat might make him look like a spy.

"Maybe, that man is pure evil. We will get your friend back," Gabriel concluded.

Olivia woke up to Tavington shaking slowly her shoulder.

"Liv, the doctor is here to check on your wound. How are you feeling this morning? Are you in pain?"

"I'm fine, it doesn't hurt like yesterday," she replied, blinking her eyes.

"Come here, I'll help to stand up," he said as he grabbed under her shoulder, lifting her to her feet. For a second, she stopped breathing. Feeling this proximity only made her look forward to her wedding night.

Once standing, the doctor politely asked her to lift her shirt to allow him to change her bandages. She held her shirt and the doctor started to unwrap the bandages around her waist until the wound would be visible.

"Thanks to Colonel Tavington's quick actions, the wound was taking care of in time. You can already see the skin healing around the bruising. I can't help but wonder what is it?" the doctor asked.

"William, my love. Would you be sweet and wait outside for a moment? I am afraid this might be improper for you to be here while I am as undress," she asked when she realised she still wore her bellybutton ring. The doctor must have seen it when he treated her the first time. She would have to think quickly.

"Of course, I will be waiting impatiently for you outside," he said, giving her hand a squeeze before leaving her.

"Do you need me to take this piece of metal out, Miss Jones?"

"No, I can take care of it, thanks for your concern," she replied.

She had gotten away without questions for the numerous earrings she wore so far, but she had to take her bellybutton ring out as soon as possible. She also thought of her tattoos; they were hidden when she was dress, but Tavington would inevitably notice it after they'll be married. She will have to make a story for that, and she needed Matt to make sure he would believe her.

The doctor left Tavington's tent as soon as he was done and entered Mr Bailey's tent.

"Sir, you asked to be notice if I would notice something I have never seen before on people I would treat. Well, I have just seen something weird. A young lady had this piece of metal through her bellybutton and did not seem bothered by it. The wound even seemed to be healed," the doctor said.

"Who exactly is this woman?"

"Colonel Tavington's fiancé, Miss Olivia Jones,"

"Thank you. Now, I must ask you to keep this to yourself. You have to keep this to your grave," Mr Bailey said, before giving the doctor his leave.

Well, this is interesting, he thought. So he might not be the only time traveler that succeeded to make the journey.
