Earth 1, Star City/Central City. Greenworld
The following day, Lyla had a long - and tough - interview and discussion session with Watson.
When the investigator left for the night, Lyla called a short emergency meeting with the Legends.
''Your branch of the X Unit will be suspended, pending investigation first thing tomorrow'' she warned the assembled group. A pause and she swept on. ''You three -'' Leonard. Mick and Joanne - ''will be under base arrest. I suggest you move your personal belongings into A.R.G.U.S. accommodation units tonight. That's all.''
When they'd filed out into the hallway, Martin - de facto elder statesman rather than leader - remarked. ''We don't need Leonard's skills to know she really wants us to do, do we?''
Nobody disagreed.

When Sandra Watson turned up the next morning to issue the relevant orders, she found that part of the X Unit base completely deserted. The people she was looking for weren't in the other parts of the building or the one in which Director Michaels was based.
''Where are they? The 'Legends' I mean?'' Watson demanded of Felicity Smoak, who was overseeing the Arrow team -not so far part of the investigation.
''I have absolutely no idea'' Felicity could honestly say, having asked to be left out of the loop.

''Well'' Leonard remarked to Dinah. ''You've got your wish to see another Earth.''
''It's beautiful.'' She had been standing and looking around her for at least five minutes. ''And also rather strange.'' Nothing that she saw quite matched the Earth 1 species. She'd been told about that, but to actually see it -.
Martin was talking to Joe, renewing their friendship. Joe had picked out this island as suitable for their use. Martin had promised that the only advanced technology would be breach devices and face modifiers. Apparently there was a bit of a dispute developing between the more ardently anti-pollution colonists and the A.R.G.U.S. base about emissions from the latter.
''They're very minor'' Joe admitted. ''Currently well within sustainable limits. But there's currently talk of setting up a Development and Pollution Oversight Committee.''
Volunteers had come from Joe's colony, also from two others, under the leadership of a young man called Terry and a woman called Cathryn. They were taking the lead in building a group of individual shelters and a larger communal building.
''It's becoming a tradition that everyone has their own space'' Joe replied, when Kendra asked why there were so many shelters.''How you use them is up to you.''

When the construction work was complete, they assembled in the communal building to decide what they would do from now on and how they would do it. The downside to having decided to avoid being confined to A.R.G.U.S. premises - which had been likely to become the case for all of them - made them look more guilty than not. Now all of them were all on the Wanted List - two back on the Most Wanted.

Sara had breached through to Earth 1, using a face modifier. After doing a careful surveillance of the area around Laurel's apartment, she breached into her sister's home from two blocks away.
Startled by the sudden appearance of a stranger as she was, Laurel had been hoping Sara would find a way to get to her and gave her sister time to prove it was her. They hugged and both sat down while Sara told her they were all safe.
''Don't say where'' Laurel advised her.
She decided to keep to herself the fact that their father had called and was pretty upset about what was in the news. She also kept to herself the fact that she didn't think Sara had made the right decision in absconding like that.
Half an hour later, Sara left, having promised to come again, if and when she could.

Carter and Kendra breached into the Flash teams's part of STAR Labs, startling Iris, who was monitoring the three speedsters' life signs while they exercised. When she rounded up the team and handed the three speedsters their energy drinks, the two arrivals made their request. Could the Legends use the bunker as their breach point to and from Earth !?
It was a question that needed some thought, so the two visitors modified their faces and went out for what might be last Earth 1 restaurant meal for some time.
The vote in STAR Labs was long but ended with a majority of 'Yes' votes.

An amateur astronomer reported seeing an object apparently heading in the general direction of Mars.
''A small meteor or comet '' was the official response, although it was noted that it didn't match any of the ones known to be in the vicinity of Earth and her sister planets.
At a higher level, alarm bells were going off. A satellite had tracked what appeared to be a controlled landing on the red planet. There were also fuzzy images of humanoid type figures in protective suits apparently taking soil and rock samples.
''Maybe they're interstellar geologists'' some wit said and got a withering look from his C.O.
