Earth 1, Kaznia
They had all taken jobs within Savage's workforce.
Mick was working on the factory construction site, Joanne in the onsite canteen.
Ray was a lab technician and spent a lot of time trying not to appear too bright, especially when Nikki was around. He was however fascinated by the woman's scientific and technical skills, despite complaining to Nora.
''She's just totally oblivious to any moral or ethical considerations.''
Nora worked in admin - a boring job that did however give her opportunity to watch the comings and goings of Savage - the plan to dispatch him to Earth 266 was still on the table.
Leonard was a caretaker, Sara a cleaner. The kind of people who barely get noticed. Leonard was studying the security systems, guard routines etc. Sara was familiarising herself with the routines of the office staff.
Jax got a job in the vehicle maintenance bay. Dinah was a driver. Martin worked in the post room.
They had continued living in couples and one trio, in cheap boarding-houses. They met casually after work, mixing with other employees as well. They listened - Savage was popular locally, on account of the jobs he was creating, although he kept very much to himself. It wasn't clear which of the two women he tended to be seen with was intimate with him - or if either of them was. The Legends silently noticed, with concern, that the description of one woman matched that of General Laurel Lance.
There were more mixed views about Nikki and Cassandra. Nikki was a hard taskmaster. Cassandra plainly didn't place much trust in the people who worked for her directly.
''Once bitten, twice shy'' she snapped when someone dropped a hint to her about that.

Naomi, appearance changed, was working in a bar - something she knew very well how to do. She was getting to be popular with the customers. She was pretty sure that three - at least - were Legends, disguised in the same way as she was, but that wasn't a priority at the moment.
She'd had to make an effort not to react when she cottoned on to the fact that one was probably Snart - for a while she waited for him to recognise her, then realised he was blocking his telepathy. She sneered inwardly - if I had that ability, I'd make Cassandra, Nikki etc walk into an alley where I was waiting for them, she thought.
Dronon would be first, she decided. Work her way up. She'd been studying his movements for a while - he seemed to have a lot of spare time on his hands. She managed to get next to him on a crowded train and 'accidently 'stumbled against him.
''Sorry'' she said, giving him a friendly but apologetic smile.
Most men would have responded more graciously towards a young woman than his grumbled ''OK''. He didn't appear to notice that she'd scratched him - Floyd had taught her a lot.
Twenty-four hours later, he was dead.

Three weeks after their arrival, they travelled by separate means to a town, abut thirty miles from the city. Martin had had pooled their surplus cash and rented a hotel room for the night. The abduction of Savage was top of the agenda.
The meeting was just getting underway when they were all startled by the appearance of a powerful breach vortex in the corner of the room. It hadn't been planned for the other team to visit - and this breach wasn't from any personal device.
Some of them reached for guns they didn't have on them. Others tensed themselves ready for unarmed combat. Others just stood and stared.
It was only a couple of seconds before a man and woman - both appearing to be in their twenties - stepped through into the room, with their hands raised. They were both dressed in what appeared to be some kind of paramilitary uniform.
The man was Barry Allen, Martin realised. Then another thought occurred to him - which Barry Allen was this? There was something about the man's eyes -. If this was the one from Earth 266, he was about ten years older than when they'd last met.
Sara was staring at the woman next to Allen. Mid-twenties, attractive, dark haired. The more she looked, the more certain she was. This woman was a Snart.
''I'm the Barry from Earth 266'' he confirmed what Martin had been thinking. ''This is my wife, General Allen.''
''We're from the future'' the woman - who they all thought was very young for a General - informed them. ''From the Resistance, what's left of it.''
''Saffron?'' Dinah got out. She had been struggling to process the sudden appearance of an older version of her daughter.
''Yes, it's me, mother.''
Mother? Sara stared at both women in shock, not liking the thought that was going through her mind.
This Saffron confirmed the worst, when she turned to look at Leonard.
''You don't know this yet, but I'm your daughter.''
