Earth 1 Star City. Earth 266.
Ray was angrier than anyone could remember having seen him. Nora had simply nipped out for five minutes to get some fresh food and now she was missing. When she didn't come back, he had gone out to check and found no trace of her.
Now he was almost shouting ''Where is she?''
''Calm down'' Martin urged him, to no avail.
Ray continued to stare impatiently at Leonard, who was plainly concentrating so had that Sara had a nanobot hypo in her hand and kept giving Ray warning glances.
''She's not conscious, so I can't get her location from her - hold on'' he paused. ''I've found Rip - he's in the next cell at A.R.G.U.S. - he confirms she's out cold.''
He seemed to be quite steady, but Sara lunged forward and jabbed the hypo against his arm, just to be on the safe side.
''Thanks''
''That's enough - for now'' Sara told Ray, who gave her a dark look and turned away.
The new version of the Acheron Team had been preparing to leave when the Nora situation arose. The five - Martin, Mick, Joanne, Jax and Stephanie Karras were still standing in a loose group. Jax was struggling to keep himself from looking continuously at Karras, whose tumbles of curly red hair and hourglass figure he couldn't get out of his mind. It was made even worse that she'd given him a friendly smile before all this started.
Martin looked uncomfortably at the five who were staying behind - the smouldering Ray, Sara, Leonard, Evelyn and Dinah Drake. Not the best combination - especially as it had been based on Nora's plan.
''We have to go'' he said apologetically. ''Mars is the closest it's going to get.''
Ray turned away, without saying a word.

Nora remained unconscious - apparently, they were keeping her sedated, which didn't help improve Ray's mood. Then her presence disappeared altogether. Rip said the guards had moved her, but he didn't know where to.
''I can't talk to her until she comes to'' Leonard pointed out.
Evelyn looked at her watch. ''Another hour and I can go and ask Ava'' she offered.
''I should have gone in and got her' 'Ray grumbled.
''You'd never have got past A.R.G.U.S.' defences, even in your tech suit'' Sara pointed out.
Ray knew she was right - he just didn't want to admit it aloud. Instead, he slumped off towards the kitchen.

The news Evelyn brought back was mixed. Ava didn't know where Nora had been taken. Apparently, as one of the more 'dangerous' Legends that was a matter for Watson now - and Watson wasn't talking.
The better news was that Rip, Carter, Kendra, Nate and Ralph were being released. No longer suspects. No longer A.R.G.U. S. agents.
''Ava says Watson has the influence in Washington to make Lyla have to do that.'' Evelyn reported of their friends' loss of status.

Nora woke up and didn't know where she was. Except that she was lying in long grass and it was drizzling. She was beginning to get uncomfortably wet.
This made no sense. She had been shopping - then she remembered the sharp pain her arm. Looking down to see a hypo-dart. There were magics that would work against that - but whatever they had used was too fast acting. She was falling - her vision darkening - as she struggled to get the words together.
Dimly, she heard someone say ''Looks like some kind of seizure.''
Now - she was here. She sat up and found herself looking straight into the eyes of a lioness. A hunting lioness.
Words tumbled out of her, faster than she knew she could speak them. The cat hissed, snarled and shrank back, then slunk away into the grass.
''Just my old silver-backed gorilla trick'' she murmured, wondering if she'd managed to make the lioness see that or if it was just the magic vibe that did the trick.
Where are you?
''Here'' she said automatically, then thought 'Sorry.'' It was like the time on Earth X - he'd been able to detect her strong emotions through the dimensional barrier - an ability that alarmed her as much as it had before. He'd become so powerful -.
It's an Earth, she thought. I'm going to take a look around. I'll scream or something when I find out which one.
X
It was over an hour before Leonard detected anything from her. His face showed that it wasn't good news.
''They've dumped her'' he said flatly. ''On Earth 266.''
