Chapter 15, Meeting of Power
START!
The boy was angry.
Of course, how could he not? He just found out that the smoke that made the group of pidgy he met in route 1 angry and full of rage came from the team Rocket.
And now, in this Lavender town, he met many Jennies that's wasn't professional enough to come to help at the right time and dare to came when the fight is already over, pointing their gun at him.

Still, as he walks along those police officers, he calmed down his own rage somewhat. After all, its still not their fault, with the town itself was covered by ghostly barrier before Red tamed all of those ghosts and dispelled said barrier at the same time.
Then again, stupid is still stupid. And pointing guns at him is definitely stupid.
"So, where is this commander of yours?"
He had simply asked them to bring him to their commander, and they've been walking for a pretty long time. He's pretty sure that they're not in Lavender town anymore.
Even from the edge of his eyes, he can see that Red already agitated and seemingly going to have her fuse lit up from impatience.
Those Jennies… they should've let her go. In this state of her, she's basically a ticking bomb, ready to explode at anyone who poke her in the wrong ways.
"We're here, Sir. Commander Lance is this way… Soldiers! Lock up that criminal and interrogate him after he woke up!"
"Yes ma'am!"

Would you look at that?
Just a few seconds ago, there's nothing but a lush field, spread across in the middle of the forest. But suddenly, now there's a group of military tents, full with iron fences and few watchmen turrets.
Oh, such a good use of psychic.
"Wait… Lance?"
Just as he following the captain of Jenny, he remembered her words… or more specifically, the name she said. and here, they stopped in front of the largest tent within this whole area.
"Yes, this whole operation is commandeered by Sir Lance himself because the threat is pretty big… we… we've lost few good soldiers in this operation alone. But I'm sure Commander can explain it better than me, please enter, Sir"
"Okay"
The boy took a few good breaths, before in the end, he entered the tent with eyes full with nothing but seriousness and a sharpness befitting of a noble like himself.

"Welcome, Naruto Shirona. And of course, you too, Red. I've been hearing a lot about you two"
The first scene that greet Naruto and his rival is a large table, and on said table, a whole map of Kanto is being spread. Behind said table, the current champion of this region is sitting in a rather normal chair, smiling at them.
Of course, sharp he is, Naruto easily see the slight furrow on the man's eyebrows, a sign of tiredness.
Oh, anyway, Lance is a tall man, easily taller than any male Naruto have seen so far, but knowing his reputation as one the strongest dragon tamer in the whole world, Naruto isn't that surprised. The man's fiery red hairs slicked toward the back, giving him a masculine look, rather sharp and professional aura.
His attire… eh… Naruto doesn't really care. And then again, it's rude to check on people when they're talking to you. More so when said man is currently staring at him in the eyes.
"Nice to see you too, Champion Lance. I've been hearing lot about you too"
When in front of dragon… never bow. Or they will think low of you, for life and unchanged.
Calmly, Naruto walked until he's standing across the man, staring straight into his eyes as they're checking on each other's power out. Behind him, Red raised one of her eyebrows after she seen the man, easily find the power he excluding as amusing.
Though of course, both Naruto and Red know that if they were to challenge the man now, they will lose… no question.
"Is that so? Well, I hope you only heard good news about me… I wouldn't want to look bad in front of the Prince of Sinnoh region"
The man let out small, lighthearted laugh after that. Seemingly not that fully honest with his words. Or specifically, not very caring about the boy's status in the first place.
Of course, Naruto doesn't care… the man has power, and as one of the people who's standing above everything, he has some right that cannot be forced, simply as that.
"Yep, I heard many good things about you… However, I'm kinda curious why does Jennies came so late when Lavender town was attacked by evil group like team Rocket? Can you kindly tell me the reason, Lance-san?"
Indigo Plateau League's special force, G-force is famous in their professionality, and the head of said force itself is Lance (that's why he's kinda surprised when this operation also being commandeered by the man). The force is said to be made of every strongest trainer from both Kanto and Johto and very quick when it came to international threat.
So why?
What made them act so long to face team rocket in Lavender?
Even after he found out that the operation's commander is Lance, Naruto isn't afraid to ask the same thing he asked the Jennies few minutes ago. And of course, despite not meaning it, anyone could sense the hidden mockeries in his voice.
"Well, this information shouldn't be shared by anyone outside the league actually… But considering this as a sign of goodwill from a champion to Shirona family, I guess I can tell you"
The man for a small second had his eyebrow twitch, annoyed at the boy's words. But in the end, chose to calm down and fold his hands and said that for response.
He has no time for childishness… not now.
"I believe you already know that Saffron city is currently on lockdown?"
The man asked, face full of seriousness. And seeing this, Naruto narrowed his eyes and nodded, its just yesterday that he was rejected to enter the city after all, so there's no way he can forget it.
"Let me be honest here… Saffron is currently being controlled by team rocket, everyone inside has been seized hostage. Most of my agents are sent there, though they haven't able to reach the central area, where most of the hostage being keep, including most of the workers of Silph Co."
"I see…"
Heard nothing but seriousness from the man's words, Naruto narrowed his eyes and start to think for every possibility he can do to help.
Unfortunately for him, before he can even open his mouth, his rival already cut off their conversation.
"Boring…"
Uncaring, cold, the girl simply turned around and walk away to get out from the tent. Of course, Naruto stop her before she does…
"Red-chan, where are you going?"
"… Saffron… Fight"
Lance widened his eyes, shocked that a girl far younger than him said something so ridiculous without any blink. Though for Naruto, he merely scratched his head.
"Red-chan, you know there will be many enemies there. You and your pokegirls could get hurt, you know? And we also need plan to help the hostages"
"… Don't care… I'll kill who stop my journey"
And to her, team Rocket is simply a group which keep stop her from fully immersing in her journey. So really, all she wants right now is to kill all of them without any exception, then continue on her journey to become the champion.
"Young one, don't be reckless now. Just like your friend said just now, we need a plan to save the civilian first and foremost before we can attack team Rocket"
"…"
Maybe sensing the invisible tense between the two, Lance decides to step up and said that to the young girl in front of him. he could give her respect for her guts, but there's no way he can't let a rare talent like her to waste away getting killed just because she wants some action.
"Lance-san… I think you misunderstood, sorry in advance, but please don't cut us out for now"
As the noble said that with a small polite nod, Lance furrowed his eyebrows even more.
In Which part he misunderstood?

"I know that, I think the same as you, Red. But there's time and place for such a thing"
It was then, the Champion found himself transfixed as the two having one-sided conversation with the boy as the only one doing the talking.
There's… some invisible chemistry between them. a thing that he doesn't understand, and also the thing that made the girl almost ignored him entirely in all of their conversation.

"RED!"
But still. As the girl said something Lance can't even heard, the boy was different and shouted that with wide eyes. Eyes filled with a justified fury.
But as soon the fury came, it gone just like that. Probably because he knew Red's heart deep down and understand whatever her reasoning.
"How about this… I'll lead the infiltration first. Until I'm done, I want you to wait… train, rest, eat or anything you want. And when I'm done, you're allowed to charge forward… kill everyone on your sight"
"…"
"I know you're impatient, but are you really going to risk our rivalry just for some few hundred grunts?"
And here, the girl's become silent and merely staring at her rival with cold, calculating eyes. Of course, as the two having a stare down between the two of them, Lance suddenly found himself feel as if he's in the middle of two dragons that's going to go at it.
Oh, he also knows that this feeling he suddenly feel is basically his instinct being threatened despite the two aren't even looking at him.
Unknown to him, one of his hands went to his belt, touching one of his pokeballs for reassurance.
"… six hours… after that… I'll kills"
"Sigh… alright, if I'm yet to give you any signal within six hours, you're allowed to charge ahead and kill all of them"
After the boy said that, he returned his attention to Lance and let out a small sigh. Though, small smile is still etched on his face.
"Lance-san… I would need some of your Jennies for this operation, can you lend me some of them?"
His question, it was serious, and because Lance sense such a thing, he narrowed his eyes, thinking. Hands folded in front of his chest.
Should he really trust the boy he never met?
Though as he stands there, locking eyes with the Prince of the Shirona family, Lance realize he can't move a muscle… not even his lips.
After all, no matter how strong he is… in front of the King, he's nothing.
Sigh
"Alright… I guess I can lend you some of my best Jennies"
Whether this is a right decision or not, Lance doesn't know.
But really, he hopes he's placing his trust on the right guy.
After all, he doesn't want to lose anymore subordinate.

Arrived, Naruto looks up…
He sensed many distressed auras right on top of him.
Oh, if you're curious, he's currently in the tunnel which connect celadon city and route 7. And right on top of his? It's the main building of Saffron city, where the hostage currently being locked.
There are few team rocket's grunts, but it should be easy for him to beat them up before they can call their pokegirls or subordinates.
"Alright, you girls… after I'm done saving those hostages, immediately pull away. From what I can sense, it should be everyone except the president… but I'll take care of him"
He asked six hours to Red, but he only needs one for a simple rescue mission.
After all, if Red was able to tame hundreds of ghosts within five minutes despite given an hour for such a thing, he must be able to do this at the very least.
Then again, it's been twenty minutes since his promise to Red.
These Jennies are just too slow.
"Yes, sir"
One Jenny, acted as the leader of five Jennies behind her said with serious eyes.
Lance wanted to lent him at least forty Jennies at first, but when those Jennies gathered, he took a step forward and said…
"What I will do would probably strange to all of you… but none of you are my friends, none of you are my pokegirls. So, there will be no explanation. I also won't answer any question… what I will do, is none of your concern. Your job is to follow my commands, that's all. If any of you want to back away, do it, because I can do it even by myself"
There was no hesitation, out of forty, only six are left, and those six is those Jennies in front of him.
And said Jennies is currently having resolute eyes.
To them, this is a do or die situation.
But saving people's lives above them is what they choose right now, even if they must pay with their own lives.
"Yin, Yun… dig upward from this point…" Naruto said as he pointed to a single point "… Do not turn even for a little bit, stop once you feel ceramic with your blades"
"Understood, your highness"

One of the moves Naruto taught to both Yin and Yun so they won't be a one trick ponies when it came to battle.
There's no hesitation…
After Naruto said his order, Yin and Yun jumps.
Their wings flaps at quick rates as they go up and up, but stopped when they felt the back of ceramic, a sign of a building on top of them.
And once their order finished, Yin and Yun are back to stand behind their king.

The Jennies looks curious as the boy they followed stare into the hole above him with narrowing eyes.
He… don't intend to jump, right?
But they've vowed to never ask anything while on this mission. And as pokegirls that protect justice, it's in their blood to follow their own vow.
"Dance for me…"
It was then… they see it.
A blue hue starts to come out of Naruto's body, at the same time, the blade on his hand start to let out a beautiful humming sound.

With a single wave of his blade, the boy sent out a bluish energy to the hole, though there's no telltale of destruction or anything else.
It's just silent.
And just as the Jennies thought he might have fails, the boy turned his head to them.
"Wait here, I'll throw down the hostages. Yin, Yun, escort those Jennies and the hostages once I'm done"

Jenny have been in this job longer than any other Jennies can count.
She's a captain, and she need to act like it.
The first time she met Lance, she thought he was the symbol of the strongest any human can give. His very presence gives morale boost to everyone under him.
And under him, everyone become professionals.
A leader, that's the definition of Lance in her eyes.
But this boy in front of her…
When he took a step forward and said to them right to their faces that he doesn't need any of them in this rescue mission, she was flabbergasted.
A leader is a person who should gain the trusts of their people and gives them morale boost, rallying them into the threat.
But him… he chose to take the burden all by himself.
His words might have been like a person basically calling the Jennies squad useless right to their faces. But to her, the captain?
What she saw… is a man.
And fortunately, her five, trusty companions also thought the same just like her.
"Wait here, I'll throw down the hostages. Yin, Yun, escort those Jennies and the hostages once I'm done"
The twin bug girls aren't his pokegirls, but his vassals. And those two alone gave out a rather intimidating aura around them.
And when the boy called one of his pokegirls, she, the captain of Jenny's squad can't help but tremble in fear.
A predator, her instinct as pokegirl screamed at her, it screams for her to run… to hide, and even crawl if she can. As long she's running away from this… monster.
Tall, the woman is clad in beautiful black attire, and when she appeared, she smiled gently and kissed the boy in his cheek.
The boy?
He looks as calms as a freezing tundra.
"Let's go, Hinata"
Without any order except that, the monster called Hinata has her eyes glows with power as she began to levitate with her trainer and went to the building using the hole the bug girls made minutes prior.

And within minutes, one by one, the hostage was thrown down with psychic power enveloping them, thus rendering them unhurt in the process.
"Jennies, moves!"
"Yes ma'am!"
Trembling or not, Captain Jenny barked her order to her subordinate as she, along with her squad slowly helping the former hostages to regain their footing and go back to the base.
Quick, precise, and losing no one in the process thus far…
The boy… he's so dreamy to her.
-With Naruto-
"Done…"
Holding a sword in one hand, Naruto let out a small sigh as he kicked pushed down the last hostage to the hole in front of her.
Around him, the bodies of team rocket's grunts lay unconscious, each with large bump on their head after he whacked them with the back side of his sword.
That would put them out for the count for a pretty long time, unless any of them have bloodgift of blunt resistance.
"I'm done too, dear"
The voice of Hinata chimed as she walked to him until she's standing in front of him.
As a pokegirl, more so with dark/psychic type, it was easy for her to knock out normal humans and also makes sure they'll be out for a long time.
"Good… let's be careful as we go upstairs"
Naruto said gently to his lover.
There were a CCTV in this room before he destroyed it. So, he's pretty sure his enemy was already notified of his attack on this building.
Let's just hope they are as slow as most thug.
"Yes, dear"
Hinata's veil began to get longer as Naruto walked to her behind and climb on her back, wrapping his hands around her neck after she knelt down, totally covering him and then activate her conceal move that she used back in the lavender town.
Of course, to make sure his whole body is fully covered, Hinata presses her veil until her dear love being mushed against the soft veil and her skirt.
Let's just hope she can control her living clothes until they finished.
It would be bad if her skirt and veil start to rape her sweat, dear and loving husband in such public area.
She might have very high libido. But Hinata is romantic at heart, she would rather her night with him spend on top of a soft bed without any probability of being interrupted by anyone or anything.
Not in a place full of enemies waiting for a chance for ambush.

The building is scrawling with grunts, Naruto realizes as he peeked one of his eyes from Hinata's nape.
Yes, he and her is currently being transparent, but it's because the illusion has been casted around Hinata with her clothes as the medium.
Basically said, anything her clothes covers will be invisible.
And remember how Hinata herself and her clothes is literally one body? Yeah, that's why she doesn't need to cover her face when she conceals herself.
But him? He's not part of her, so he needs to hide himself behind the warm embrace of her clothes to be concealed.
"Dear… be careful"
Yeah, if he peeked out his eye from the encasement of Hinata's soft veil, that part of his body will be seen. So, he needs to be careful.
And no… he can't see anything while behind her clothes.
It's one-way transparency, not two-way.
"Hinata-chan, can you go to that door? Naru feel something from there"
"Sure dear, anything for you"
Despite said that, Hinata willed her veil to move and wind around her lover's face, forcing him to once again to hide his face behind her nape, less she's going to kiss him with her veil.

It took the two a rather long times because Hinata made sure to knock out any lone grunt passed her and throw their body to a free room so no one going to be notified when they see a body.
And minutes later, they arrive on the door that Naruto pointed.
It's letting out a rather dark aura. But as she felt her lover nodded on her nape, Hinata opened the door.

It's easy for her to do so, but if someone really locked this door, it must be for a reason. And she wants to know if her lover really curious enough to see what's inside.

Once she heard his order, Hinata just do that.

… And immediately got hit by something white.

He jumped off from Hinata's back when he sensed an incoming attack.
His tall lover also already covered her own body with dark aura when she sensed the same thing as him. though, the attack easily made her broke few walls before her body stop.
That won't be enough to make her down for the count.
But still, the sound alone easily makes the nearby team rocket's grunts starting to fill the floor they're in.
'Hinata… get those grunts away from me. I'll handle the situation here'
'Be careful, love'
With his mental connection with her, Naruto gave her his order.
He doesn't want to be interrupted when he faces this one.
Narrowing his eyes, Naruto let his aura circulate across his body to fuel him with more power, making his eyes glowing with blue flames from the density alone.
And then… he turned his eyes.
White…
The roof, the walls, and even the floor is slowly being covered by white as so many veils hovering around the room.
and in the middle of this, a rather shapely woman is tied to every piece of those hovering clothes, seemingly controlling them, slowly walking out from the room she's locked in just now.
A pokegirl.
Which one, he doesn't know… but she looks angry.
"Catalyst?"
"[Scanning]"
Some part of the veils near her body is crimson in color and visibly dripping wet with rather thick liquid.
Blood… the woman must have been locked inside that room just now, after she killed few unfortunate people.
As for what, she must have been out of control from the lack of taming session, it seems.
"Are you also one of those team rocket's grunt?"
Oh wait, his idea of her being a feral scratched off as instead attacking him immediately, the woman asked that with narrowing eyes.
Anger and wrath still taint her tone though.
But still…
Once he noticed her state, he deactivated his aura guardian state and sheathed back his sword.
"I'm not, did any of them hurt you?"
Without any fear what so ever, Naruto walked to her… and ignoring several veils trying to wrap around his legs, he still tries to get closer to get a better look at her.
After all, she might be wounded by the rocket's member.

Naruto stopped when the veils already wrap him from feet to his waist with a rather painful force.
Some batch of it also took his blade and threw it away, though Naruto doesn't care about such a thing.
Slowly, but surely, in the end the veils already had him from head to toe, all except his eyes.
-With the unknown pokegirl-
She was a Bandame.
When she was young, she was a normal Bandame that roamed a hidden fault deep within a cave with other Bandames.
And those Bandames all thought the vault as something that need to be protected, something they must protect with their own lives.
She's different.
True, it was Bandame's normal nature to protect a treasure.
But to her, the vault where she born is not a treasure.
She wanted to find her own treasure.
And thus, she journeyed, facing against so many trainers and pokegirls alike on her way to find her own, real treasure.
Of course, it's a real challenge.
The world is a strange world for a new bandame like her though. Everywhere she goes, the people seem to think the pokegirl of bandame's line doesn't have their own preference when it came to treasure.
It's like… they simply asked her "hey, this is a treasure, can you guard it for me?" and expected her to accept just like that.
Of course, she doesn't want to be seen as a strange bandame, so she said to those people that she already has her own treasure to protect, which those humans accepted, fortunately.
Years after years, she traveled.
And no… she didn't expect to search for a real treasure that she can hold dear can be so hard.
But one day, when she rested in a forest near Saffron city, she was offered a job to protect the office of , with a full payment and even place to live.
So, she thought… why not?

The people are very kind, and each of them were her friends somewhat despite she's the only one work as a feral pokegirl in this whole building (There's few more pokegirls, but they've owner).
To the people in the office, she brings them happiness. And thus, they gave her a name… Uzume, which mean happiness and joy.
She has a place to live, and with her payment money, she bought a lot of white veils and changes all of her bandages with veils.
She could bet in the whole world, she must be the only bandame that use veils instead of bandage, and it make her happy, being different than her own people.
She was used to hide her own self, but in Silph Co, she can be herself.
Thought it was hard for her because she is yet to find her treasure, she's happy enough to call as her temporary treasure.
And then… they came…
They were ambushed, outnumbered and literally defeated within minutes.
She's the only one with combat experiences, while the other was pets to the researchers in the building. and thus, they're killed, to make sure the researchers had no hopes to escape with their pokegirls.
She fought… again and again…
But in her last legs, she entered her room in the second floor.
She has thousands of veils in her bedroom and she can control each of them as easy as controlling her own body.
And with her mastery over them, she lured the grunts and their pokegirls inside and killed them with quick precision. After all, while those human and their pokegirl can take on her with few veils, there's no way they can fight her when she used thousand of said piece of clothes.
And yes… all of her payment is used to buy veil and more veil, made by the Silph co itself.
Its soft… its durable… and she just loves to snuggles on them.
Each piece of cloth is a perfect blend of weapon and softness, that's why she just loves the clothes made by corporation she work on.
After the tenth enemies she lured, someone else locked her from the outside.
And unfortunately, the tenth enemy is also a fire pokegirl, and she almost died if not for her fortunate event of evolution.
After her evolution, she in the end can defeat the fire pokegirl by crushing it inside several hundred veils, making her lovely white veils tainted by her bloods after losing few hundreds by her fires.
It made her angry… and she can't even get out to help her friends.
She's losing too much blood… her eyes becoming blurry. She's already weakened enough that she can't even crush the door to outside.
Then again, Silph co has durable doors to every rooms.
It was then, the door opened.

With her last, remaining energy, Uzume used most of her energy to push all of her veils forward, hitting the one opening the door in the first place.
If they're human, they would be dead… and if they're pokegirl, they would get some of their bone cracks from that hit.
She doesn't care.
All she wanted… is to get out from this room…
Imagine her surprise when instead of someone from team rocket, she saw a beautiful human with his eyes glowing ethereally as if on fire while their hand holding a long katana.
If she fought, she will lose.
That's what her mind told her when she stares at the human in front of her.
Didn't want to show any weakness, Uzume growled at him/her.
"Are you also one of those team rocket's grunt"
… the aura, the pressures… everything's gone when she said that and the human immediately sheathed his/her sword once again, a rather nice and precious smile on their face.
'I'm not, did any of them hurt you?"
Without any fear whatsoever, the human walks to her, ignoring the river of veils on the floors creeping up into their legs.
"… I won't hurt you"
When the human stop because half of his/her body already encased up to the waist. Uzume wasted no time to threw away their sword just in case they knew quick draw technique.
She doesn't want to die just because she lowered her guard foolishly.
Though strangely, the human's eyes still looking at her, showing nothing but compassion and full of worries… for her, a stranger.
She doesn't believe it.
Raising her arm, she ordered her veils to covers him (one of her veils touched his groin) from his toes to his head.
Now beg, human.
Beg for mercy that she won't give.
Not that he can, as her one of her veils also already gagged him as tightly as possible.

It didn't come.
There's no struggles. Nothing to show anything but worries and compassions for her being in his eyes.
What the…
Unconsciously, the layer that covers the boy slowly uncovered one by one. And once he can walk once again, he walked to her until he can touch her.
"Where's the pain? I'll take care of it"
His voice is as calm as a water in the sea, and as soft as silk when he's caring for her well-being.
And as if in trance, Uzume can't help but to unwrap the veils around her stomach, showing him a blackened and bleeding part of her body.
She's losing blood…
"I see…"
His soft voice caresses her whole being as his hand glow in a soft blue aura.
And then… he healed her, a total stranger, in a place where dangers can come at any times.
Even those people in got closer to her because they wanted her to protect the building.
This one human, he's a rather strange specimen.
And then, she took notice of his features.
His hair shines with golden color when he's using his strange aura, though turn into precious platinum gold when he didn't.
His eyes, shiny cerulean blue in color… and his skin…
Gently, she cupped his cheeks with both hands when he's focus on healing her.
His skin… is softer than her own silk.
And when she cupped his cheeks and forces his attention up to her, his furrowed eyebrows are just too adorable.

At last
She has found her treasure.
"…"
And she feels herself losing her ability of human speech with that single realization. Fortunately, she doesn't loss her ability to think for herself.

"You should rest…"
Half an hour or so later, Naruto already finished healing the woman calling herself Uzume.
And for some reason, she refuses to leave his side.
Oh well…
Maybe she just feels safer staying by his side.
"Hinata, are you done?"
Naruto said toward the woman in black as he saw her knocked the last of the grunts coming to this second floor.
There are few scratches in her beautiful gown, probably from a fast pokegirl that took her by surprise, and seeing this, Naruto fasten his walks to her and start to heal her gown with obvious worries in eyes.
Her gown is part of her body. What it felt, she can feel it… so if it got cut, it's literally her getting herself cut.
"Yes, I'm done, love. And Red-san is also on her way"
With her psychic, it's rather easy for her to sense a human bull-dozing more than hundred pokegirls with Peekabu in front of her, shooting lightning after lightning toward her poor enemies.
And behind the red eyed girl is Lance, sweat dropping.
Those Jennies must have reached the base and told everyone that they can attack now.
