-Third person POV. It's hard for me to write first person without being to convoluted. I'll try to include as much though processes in the writing as possible, though. Chapters will rotate about three or four different POVs, focusing on the main eight, Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, with a few appearances on the rest of the

-Leo and Calypso broke up. No drama, still 100% best friends. It was a mutual understanding/self discovery thing for the both of them.

-Leo comes back earlier. For obvious reasons. I hate how Blood of Olympus left things.

-Piper and Jason still break up. Same reasons, and slap on the fact Jason is probably gay.

-Speaking of Jason, he doesn't die. This takes place pretty soon after the events of HoO, so I will be ignoring everything about the Trials of Apollo. I didn't read it, and I have the power to make it uncanon. Eat my shorts.

-As for relationships that are still going strong, Hazel/Frank and Percy/Annabeth have NO RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS. I hate when people demonize Annabeth, I just want them both to be happy.

-Reyna retired. Hazel and Frank are now the praetors. Not for long, though ;)

-For convenience purposes, all of them will be aged down to 14/15. For some that's not that much of a difference, but that just means I'm keeping it T rated in terms of NSFW context. Gore will still be pretty heavy, so here's your blanket TW.

-Also for convenience purposes, their godly powers function like quirks.

-I'm still debating between making this an entire rewrite or just skimming over some stuff. A lot of fanfictions of this variety tend to forget the butterfly effect of having eight completely new people in the universe.

-I haven't finished watching MHA. (I got up to the U.A. festival Arc before I stopped) Things are going to be going extremely different, so later game stuff won't even matter that much. That doesn't mean I haven't gotten that far in the series, though. Some early series keystone points will remain. Kinda vague, I know. Also fuck the movies. I might mention them, who knows. But the don't seem to be incredibly important to the main series anyways.

-Since I haven't watched that far into the series, I don't know how important some of the side characters are. So I'm booting them. Mineta, for obvious reasons, but also Sato, Ojiro, Koda, and Hagakure for starters. I might mix up 1B a little bit and slap them in there, I don't know. But don't hate me. 1A will also have 22 students to fit the seven in there.

-Where's the eighth, you might ask? Read the tags wink wink wink. Or leave it as a surprise, although it doesn't take that long to find out.

-Screw 5 months of training. They don't need it. So don't be confused with the wonky timeline.

-I just recently finished rereading the PJO and HoO series. I'm doing this for the main eight more than class 1A. I thought it would be fun to add a little more to this niche-ish market and get back into MHA full swing. I'm focusing on fun more than anything. One month of summer left and I'll be spending most of the time writing. Wish me luck, and happy reads.

It started off as a normal evening. Everything, does really.

Rebuilding was coming along nicely in Camp Half-Blood. Although most of the Romans were trekking back to Camp Jupiter, quite a few stayed to help. It was exactly two months after the war. Two months after Gaea faded? Died? Slept again. Percy remembered the first month. Things were hectic, but in a quiet way. The first two weeks everyone was trying hard to cope. Then the burning of the shrouds, and people started to really mourn. It finally set in just how many people died.

But the Leo didn't. That little also had the gall to come back with a princess on the back of his dragon. It's safe to say that after that, things got better. The next two weeks were productive. Then the end of the month rolled around, and the seven, Reyna, and Nico decided to meet up.

"Wow."

"I'm honestly not surprised."

"I'm not either, I just didn't expect it to happen so soon," Percy turned to Reyna. "What are you gonna do with you're retirement?"

Annabeth turned to her as well. "Yeah, I'm curious about what a warrior like you is gonna do in a civilian setting."

Reyna sighed. "That's the thing, I don't know if I want to fully be a civilian. I just don't want to deal with that kind of pressure anymore, you know? Sorry, Hazel, I don't mean to scare you or anything," Reyna put a hand on Hazel sympathetically.

"No, no! Don't worry, I can handle it!" Hazel was quick to amend.

"I never doubted that."

"Me neither," Annabeth chipped in. "You're the right woman for the job. Unlike this dunce." She elbowed Percy. He doubled over, feigning major injury.

"You wound my soul, Wise Girl."

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to working with Frank on getting the Legion back to full force," Frank blushed, whether at the attention or Hazel's enthusiasm, Percy didn't know. "But enough about me, what are you gonna do?"

"Maybe she'll join the rest of the scary ladies, the ones with the bows," Leo snickered, tinkering on a ring he was making Calypso.

"Maybe." The rest of the group stared Reyna in shock or surprise, save for Annabeth, Piper, and Jason.

"I could totally see you rocking some silver, that would suit you so well!" Piper playfully pushed at Reyna.

Annabeth seemed curious. "Who gave you the offer?"

"Thalia." Jason said for Reyna. He sighed, "Immortal sisters are the worst."

Reyna pouted and cooed like she was talked to a baby, "Awwww, do you not want me to leave you alone at Camp Jupiter?" That got some snickers.

"About that, I think I might just end up swinging between camps. Getting temples sorted out and all that."

Nico piped in a "Same here."

"Once reparations are done of course," Jason continued, "those kind of take priority. Really though, who here besides these three," he gestured to Hazel, Frank, and Reyna, "actually know what they're gonna do now?"

"I'm thinking of picking up music," Piper interjected. This got a snort out of Leo and a few wide eyes from the rest. "Charmspeak apparently means a pretty decent voice, and I already got some ideas. I can't believe this has never come up, I really like rock and metal." Leo was now freely cackling. Hazel smacked him upside the head.

"What would your girlfriend say about you making fun of other peoples dreams?" Leo flinched.

"Speaking of, she's not so much my girlfriend," Hazel cringed. Leo saw this and immediately rushed to fix his mistake, "No, no, we're like totally cool it wasn't like a breakup breakup or anything it was more like just we wanted to be friends and we're not sure if we're like romantically compatible but we're still like super cool roommates which we'll probably be for a while-"

Annabeth cleared her throat loudly and raised an eyebrow. Leo grinned sheepishly. "We're thinking of doing online university. I don't really need an engineering degree, it's just for papers, but I'm thinking of getting a major in biotech. I think my work on automatons could easily be applied to prosthetics and eventually more complex solutions to paraplegics. Calypso tagging along too, more just looking into botany and junk."

Reyna looked impressed, "Wow, Leo, that's very noble of you."

Jason gave him a noogie. Percy wiped a fake tear from his cheek. "Our little troublemaker is actually going to do some good for once."

Leo wagged his pliers at him. "Hey, I'm a certified martyr, thank you very much!" Hazel didn't find that so funny. Leo shut his mouth, changing the topic.

"What about you, Percy? You've been awfully quiet." Percy smiled, but it looked more like a grimace.

"As much as I want to go skipping into college with Annabeth, I kinda want just a bit of free time. Collect myself, figure out what I want to do. Actually get me GED," Percy kicked the leg of the table. Everyone nodded, understanding. "My mom's pregnant, so we might go on a travelling spree for a bit before settling down for the baby. We only have a couple months left."

Annabeth nodded along, "I'll probably end up going virtual for the first year of school, to stick with Percy, but after that I'm settling in New Rome to really focus on my studies." She glanced worriedly at Percy, but he grinned.

"You're such a nerd," All remorse evaporated from Annabeth as she punched him in the arm.

They decided to make the meetings a monthly reunion. No one wanted to be alone, anyways.

Percy cleared his thoughts as he was walking back from the beach to the Big House. Campfire was over, and it was pitch black out. The moonlight shimmered on the surface of the water. Percy stared up at the new moon in the sky.

He paused. New moon. Moonlight. What?

He looked at the water again, something was giving off a faint white glow under the surface. He waded into the water, and stuck his head underneath. It looked like a mirror, but instead of displaying Percy, it showed clouds parting to reveal... blocks? Black and grey and red blocks. Was that a-

Percy fell in. He looks up at the miniscule hole in the sky. He swears he can see a flash of blonde curls as he falls and falls and falls and falls and falls-

His head hit the pavement with a sickening CRACK!
