Decepticon ship:

It had been a few days since the two had left Cybertron. Currently Dinobot was inspecting some of the weapons he found on the ship. But as he inspected the weapons his thoughts were of how far along things had gone on Earth. Some part of him hoped he would arrive early to possibly prevent Cliffjumper's untimely demise. Dinobot had went through each mager event that took place within the prime series and debated what kind of changes both he and Blackarachnia would cause.

He was soon taken from his thoughts when he heard the unmistakable sound of Blackarachnia's approach.

Blackarachnia: Keeping yourself busy?

Dinobot: It's a long trip. And it'll be best to always be prepared.

Blackarachnia: Being a little paranoid aren't we.

Dinobot just smirked as he turned to her.

Dinobot: Unless you feel like being ambushed by another insecticon.

Blackarachnia: I doubt we'll run into any insecticons on this planet we're heading to.

Dinobot: Sadly we don't have the luxury of knowing what we may encounter.

Blackarachnia: But what of the information Shockwave gathered?

Dinobot: What information he had gathered which he kept to himself. The only information I have is the planet's location and that it has energon. What ever awaits us we best be ready.

Blackarachnia just shook her head and leaned against the wall. Dinobot picked up one of the weapons.

Dinobot: Something else you wish to talk about?

Blackarachnia: What's your story scales?

Dinobot: What's there to tell. I was a decepticon soldier.

Blackarachnia: And yet you remained on Cybertron while everyone else left.

Dinobot: Same could be said about you.

Blackarachnia: I stayed because I didn't want to get slaged.

Dinobot: Hmph I'm sure most autobots and decepticons felt the same way.

Blackarachnia: That still doesn't explain why you remained on Cybertron. Our home world is uninhabitable, even the scavengers can barely scrape by.

Dinobot just sighed knowing what she said was true about Cybertron and it was all thanks to one cybertronian's jealousy. He then placed the weapon back and turned fully to Blackarachnia.

Dinobot: I was left to die.

This got a surprised look from the small femme.

Blackarachnia: I take it that it was the autobots.

Dinobot: No. Let's just say, it was one of those events no one likes to talk about.

Blackarachnia didn't press the issue. She was about to head back to the cockpit when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Dinobot: I'll drive this time. Best if you get some rest.

He then walked to the cockpit and sat in the pilot seat. Once he was in the pilot seat Dinobot couldn't help but wonder what the original Dinobot's life was like before everything.

Time skip:

After a while the two eventually switch from time to time. Right now Blackarachnia was back in the pilot seat while Dinobot was recharging.

As he slept he saw glimpses of the original Dinobot's memories. How he fought in the war and eventually being changed by Shockwave. He was soon awoken when he saw the eventual last moments of Dinobot before his death.

Dinobot sat up clutching his head. He stood up and made his way to the cockpit of the ship.

Blackarachnia: Sleep well?

Dinobot: Better then waking up on a ruined world. How far are we now?

Blackarachnia: We still got a long way to go.

Dinobot began to think of something as they continued their journey to Earth. For a few minutes there was silence until Dinobot spoke.

Dinobot: So, what did you do before the war?

Blackarachnia: Why do you want to know?

Dinobot: Simply to kill time. And because you asked me something about myself.

Blackarachnia: If I remember correctly you didn't exactly answer the question.

Dinobot: As I said it was one of those events no one likes to talk about. Perhaps in time I'll tell you.

Blackarachnia just sighed.

Blackarachnia: I was a student before the war.

Dinobot just raised a brow in curiosity.

Blackarachnia: I went to Tyrest university before everything happened. And what about you, what did you do before we lost everything?

Dinobot thought for a moment.

Dinobot: I was a gladiator.

Blackarachnia: Not a surprise, especially given your size and your choice in weapon. So I take it you were one of the first to follow Megatron.

Dinobot: I did.

Blackarachnia noticed he sounded like he regretted it. He wasn't the only one however.

Dinobot: So how was it?

Blackarachnia: It had it's moments. If it wasn't for my sister I might have not gotten in.

Dinobot: Your sister?

Blackarachnia: Yeah, she helped me get into the university so that I could have a better future, her words. But I don't think anyone expected the war to happen.

Dinobot: Indeed. But I think it would've happened anyway.

Blackarachnia: What makes you so sure?

Dinobot: No doubt you knew of the hardships many went through before. Even Megatron saw the corruption within the council.

Blackarachnia: And here we are. Just like everyone else who had left Cybertron.

Dinobot couldn't help but sigh in disappointment knowing that many cybertronians had to leave their home world.

Time skip:

Dinobot was currently in his alt-mode laying on the floor of the ship. Recently he had practice transforming into his alt-mode as well as function in said alt-mode. Since it wasn't a vehicle it was some what easier then expected. However there was something different that he couldn't exactly put his finger on.

He soon awoken when he felt something nudged him. Dinobot opened his optics to see Blackarachnia standing over him.

Dinobot: What is it?

Blackarachnia: I came to ask you something important.

Dinobot stood up and transformed into his robot mode.

Blackarachnia: You said you knew the location of the planet. But do you know what it looks like.

Dinobot: Of course.

The two then go to the cockpit with Dinobot going into the pilot seat. He then looked at the control panel to see the planets. As looked he soon spotted Earth and he felt joy at seeing his former home world.

Dinobot: This is it.

He pointed the planet out for Blackarachnia.

Blackarachnia: Doesn't look like much.

Dinobot: Looks can be deceiving. Did you do a scan of the planet?

Blackarachnia: Not yet.

Once she began to do so Dinobot began to think about a possible location to head to first. Obviously he wanted to find a well hidden location where no one would locate them. Then it came to him, the Harbinger. Although it was no longer able to fly, it would still make a good base of operations. Soon enough Blackarachnia finished her scan of the planet.

Blackarachnia: Good news, there is definitely plenty of energon on the planet.

Dinobot: And the bad news?

Blackarachnia: We won't be the only ones on the planet. The scan picked up both autobot and decepticon signatures.

Dinobot: What do you think?

Blackarachnia: Considering we don't know who is down there, best if we try to remain undetected.

Dinobot: Agreed. Thankfully there's a good location for us to head to.

Blackarachnia: Really?

Dinobot: Some time ago a vessel arrived on the planet. Sadly it was shot down. However if we could locate it-

Blackarachnia: We could use it as a base.

Dinobot: Exactly.

Time skip:

Thanks to his memory, Dinobot was able to locate the Harbinger. However there was a problem that he wanted to avoid. That problem was once they activated the Harbinger was the possible chance they would be detected by the autobots and decepticons.

As he landed the ship Dinobot couldn't help but think of how things will be. How his and Blackarachnia's very presence here could change events. When the ship was finally on the ground the two made their way to the planet's surface. When they were outside Dinobot couldn't help but feel happy to be back on Earth. But his moment was soon ended when Blackarachnia called him.

Blackarachnia: Hey scales. I take it this is what we're looking for.

She points to the wreckage of the Harbinger.

Dinobot: Yes. Despite how it may seem, it should still have power.

Blackarachnia: We'll see.

The two then walked to the wreckage. Once they made their way inside the Harbinger Dinobot already began planning for the future. As he already knew, the Harbinger held two important things within. The immobilizer and the protoforms. Both would serve vital roles for what he had planed for them.

Blackarachnia: Looks like your right. The ship still has power to it. Not sure how though.

Dinobot: The Harbinger is similar to the Nemesis, could possibly be just as resilient.

Blackarachnia just went over to a terminal and began to see if there was anything important on the ship. As she did that Dinobot began to explore the interior of the Harbinger. It felt odd to him even though it was still new to him, here he was in a universe where cybertronians existed. And here he was within a decepticon ship that held a weapon that stop any cybertronian in their tracks. Now that he thought of it, he didn't know either to destroy the immobilizer or safeguard it from both autobots and decepticons.

With Dinobot exploring their new base, Blackarachnia was going through the information within the ship's data. What information she found was quiet useful. She saw the information about what the ship held and it impressed her. But as she looked over the information Blackarachnia wondered if Dinobot knew about it. She did find it odd that he knew of the planet and the ship. Yet she won't argue as they were no longer on Cybertron. They were on a thriving world that was full of life. However she did not know what will happen as even though they were on a different world, there were others here as well.

Blackarachnia was broken from her thoughts when she heard Dinobot return.

Dinobot: So what do you think?

Blackarachnia: A few adjustments to the interior and we should have a sufficient base. However, we'll need to search for energon if we want to keep things stable.

Dinobot: Won't be much of an issue. If our friends have been here long enough, they should have some energon mines prepared.

Blackarachnia: And then what? They'll be likely guarded and I'm one for asking.

Dinobot: No. First we'll scan for any possible mines that are close. We should also scan for any signatures around the mines.

Blackarachnia: Easier said then done. We still have to repair most the damaged areas in the ship.

Dinobot: Thankfully we'll have help.

Blackarachnia: From who exactly?

Dinobot: In case you didn't see in the ship's records, there are currently five blank protoforms awaiting to be awaken.

This definitely got Blackarachnia's attention. The two then walked to where the protoforms were held. It took them little time to find the protoforms. Once they did Blackarachnia was almost ready to bring them online. She was stopped when Dinobot placed a hand on her shoulder.

Dinobot: I would suggest we wait a bit.

Blackarachnia: Why? All we have to do is prepare them and they'll be ready.

Dinobot: I know. But, I would prefer if we had comrades like us.

Blackarachnia then to try to figure out what he meant. It didn't take long for her to realise what he was referring to.

Blackarachnia: You want to give them alternate modes like us. Why?

Dinobot: Remember the insecticons. They were fierce fighters and showed how resilient they were. Then there were Shockwave's other experiments.

Blackarachnia: So you want reliable allies.

Dinobot: We'll need them to be as such if we encounter any possible threats.

Blackarachnia: The autobots and decepticons. I can understand the autobots, but why the decepticons?

Dinobot: As I said before I'm not entirely sure who may be on this planet. Not all decepticons were the cooperating types. And Primus forbid if Starscream is here.

This earned a disgusted groan from Blackarachnia as she knew about Starscream. Despite his rank within the decepticons, Starscream was universally hated for his actions.

Blackarachnia: Even so, there's still one issue. How do we reformat them like how Shockwave did to us.

Dinobot: Since they are protoforms they'll be much easier to work with. Best to at least test one of them before working with the others.

Blackarachnia nodded and began to work on the terminal. Dinobot on the other hand made his outside and began the process of unloading what they had on their ship into the Harbinger.

A/n: Another chapter completed. Not as long as the other, but the next will be more interesting.
