This is a completely original story with a twist, of course. I do not own any rights to Highschool DXD but will use the characters and most of the same storyline but including some new characters; of course, it will be a harem story but wait and find out with who.

Chapter 1
Issei is now 15 and recently got accepted into Kouh Academy, which has just been turned into a coed as it used to be an all-girl school; not knowing what class or schedule he needs to get the paperwork from the student council from there. Meanwhile, doing a lot of studying and training after moving to Kouh with his Grandparents, he unlocked not one but both Sacred Gears he processed, which shocked him at first but later calmed down after hearing their stories and knowledge of the supernatural. At the age of 12, his Grandad passed away, leaving just him and his Grandma left, so he made sure she was all cared for. With his training, he managed to gain sharp senses and reflexes and detect what supernatural people were around.
[Issei, I sense a lot of devils around, be careful and try to hide your aura, says Ryujin]
(Yes, I feel it too. I think I will hide my presence when you enter the school. It seems like two of the Heirs of Devil Kings attend this school and area, said Ddraig)
Ok, no worries, I did wonder what that power was. I just hope I don't get pulled into something, says Issei.
Issei is now at the gates of Kuoh Academy. All the students currently there are staring and whispering.
"Oh my god, look how cute he is. I wonder if he is starting school here?" shouted a girl with blonde hair.
"I hope to wonder if he's single," said another girl with brown hair.
'Right moment of truth,' thought Issei while giggling to himself as he carried on towards the Student Council room
*Knock Knock*
The door to the student council room opened, and there was a beautiful girl with long black hair and glasses there.
"Can I help you?" Asked a girl with long black hair with glasses.
"Ah sorry my name is Hyoudou Issei. I just got accepted to this school and was told I can collect my schedule and what class I will be in." Replied Issei while bowing
"Ah, ok, come right, the President is right here," said the lovely girl.
"Thank you very much." Said Issei as he bowed down
"Ah, Welcome, Issei, My name is Sona Shitori. I am the Student Council President, and the one who just let you in is Vice President Tusbaki Shinra." Sona said
Once Issei heard the name Shinra he started sweating and was slightly scared. Sona noticed his reaction and wondered if something had happened in his past.
"Here's your Schedule, and you are in Class 1-B, Welcome to Kuoh Academy. Please let me know if you have any problems or have a question," said Sona.
"Thank you very much, Shitori Kaichou. I better let get you back to your work. It was a pleasure meeting you and seeing you at school," said Issei as he bowed to both girls in respect.
"You too, Hyoudou-san, have a good day," Sona replied.
Once Issei left the council room, Sona raised her eyebrow and looked at her queen Tsubaki.
"Tsubaki, have you met Issei before? He seemed to have flinched and started sweating once he heard the name Shinra?" Asked Sona.
"Not that I know off, as you know, I was given to you when I was a child, but I know they are just as bad as the Himejima clan for secrets, etc.," Tsubaki said.
"Hmm, I think I might have to dig some info about him for him to flinch. There must be a reason only time someone will do that if he possessed something or was brought up by something like Akeno," said Sona.
"I agree it is a bit strange, but I did feel drawn to him, which only certain things can do," said Tsubaki.
"Yeah, I noticed that too". Says Sona, 'Who are you, Issei Hyoudou.' Sona thought
Meanwhile.
Issei just left the council room and let a sigh, 'I didn't expect to run into a Shinra member here and be a devil.'
Walking along the school grounds to the gate, a certain Red Hair girl saw him leave and wondered if he had a Sacred Gear as she could feel a bit of energy.
"Akeno, do you know who that boy just left the school grounds?" asked Rias.
"Ara Ara, Has Rias got an eye on a young boy? In any case, I think his name is Issei Hyoudou, and he just started the school as a First-Year, if I believe," said Akeno.
"Akeno, I'm just curious doesn't mean anything like what you're thinking, Miss S&M," said Rias while pinching the bridge of the nose.
"Ah, but it's fun teasing you," said Akeno while pouring some tea for her King.
"Well, this is going to be interesting. If he does have a Sacred Gear, wonder what one it is," said Rias, while sighing Akeno's teasing
*Knock Knock*
"Come In," replied Rias.
"Hi Rias, Are you free to chat?" Asked Sona.
"Ah, hi Sona, of course, what's the matter?" asked Rias
"It's the new boy Issei Hyoudou that's joining. I need help from any contacts you know as I'm at a dead-end," says Sona.
"Oh, is something the matter?" Asked Rias.
"When he collected his schedule and classroom details, I introduced myself and Tsubaki, but once he heard the name Shinra he started sweating and cringed a bit," says Sona.
"Hmm, now that is odd. Did you notice he had some kind of power?" said Rias.
"Well, I did see some sort of pull to him, but apart from that, it didn't seem off," replied Sona.
"Ok, well, I'll see what I can find out for you and get back to you if anything comes up," says Rias.
"Thank you, Rias," said Sona.
"No worries, Sona, I'll see you later," said Rias.
Sona walks out of the room, leaving Rias and Akeno looking at each other, puzzled by this, and starts to contact anyone about Issei's past.
[Well, that went smooth till you finched there, says Ryujin]
(Yeah, the partner still having bad dreams from that attack when you were a kid? said Ddraig)
Not really, but that name is Shinra; it's the clan that randomly attacked us when I was coming home from the Shrine of Amaterasu, said Issei.
'Speaking of Amaterasu, I wonder what's been up to,' thought Issei
[Well, I did notice something about that Student Council President, She's Sona Sitri, heir of the Sitri and sister of the Devil King Leviathan, says Ryujin]
" Yeah, I noticed Tsubaki is her queen, so she an exile from the Shinra clan, said Ddraig.)
hmm, hold on to what you mean, her queen? asked Issei
(Sigh The Devils can reincarnate humans, yokai, and sometimes demigods into their peerage. They use a system called Evil Pieces, which is based on one of the games you like playing called chess, if I recall, said Ddraig)
Wow, that's interesting. I guess knowing that relating to chess, they all have unique properties like in the actual chess itself, says Issei.
(Pretty much, but what I do not know, sadly, as I never really had a devil host, says Ddraig.
[In any case, we just have to be careful. Even with both of us, it would be unwise to start a war with the three factions considering both Heiress of Devil Kings are here, says Ryujin]
True, was the other Heiress at school as well then? asked Issei
[Yes, if I recall, she's part of the Gremory Household whose brother is the acting Lucifer after The Great War, which involves Ddraig and Albion, said Ryujin]
(Ah, how I remember those days till we got disturbed by them, said Ddraig)
I know, Ddraig. I heard the story how often, says Issei while putting a palm onto his face.
(Now there's no need for that reaction partner, said Ddraig)
Sorry, I know I like to hear about your pasts. Today has just knocked the wind out of me if you know what I mean, says Issei.
Issei was just about to enter his home when his Grandma came out to greet him with his new Kuoh uniform, and she had a big smile on her face.
"Thanks, Oba-san. I was about to get it myself," says Issei while laughing.
"No problem, dear, I wanted to surprise you with it. Have you put the barrier up?" asked Ise's Oba-san.
"Yes, Oba-san, we don't want any factions to know who I am, not yet," said Issei.
"Yes, it is hard now as I know this city has them here," replied Ise's Oba-san.
"Yeah, I know I encountered one of the Heiresses at school. She's the student president, but she seems nice and friendly but still on guard," said Issei.
"I see. Well, let's go inside. I got dinner on and need to do some training," said Ise's Oba-san.
"Ok, sounds good to me. What's for dinner?" Asked Issei
"Ufufufu, That's a surprise, but it's something you love to eat," said Ise's Oba-san while giggling
"I can't wait then," said Issei while smiling.
Start of school
*Beep, Beep, Beep!* As the Alarm goes off, waking Issei up.
Issei is now getting up for his first day at school and wondering what today will bring; he gets up and gets ready. He has breakfast with his Grandma before heading out to school.
"Have a good day, Ise. I know you will do well," Ise's Oba-san said while smiling.
"Will do Oba-san," says Issei, slightly blushing on his cheeks.
Issei is now walking along the street while talking to Ryujin.
Ryujin, I had thought of a new move using the power of the water element. I wonder if I can find somewhere safe to try it out, says Issei.
[What were you thinking? Asked Ryujin]
You are known as a Water God who can control Storms and Tides gives me an idea for water, and maybe lightning attack using a preference of a bow and having it shoot the attack out as an arrow says. Issei.
[Hmm, interesting, and I can imagine what it would be like if you even used Ddraigs powers into it as well, said Ryujin]
That is just overkill, but that would be good for stronger foes. Well, better cut off now as the nearby school will talk more about this later, says Issei.
Issei now arrives at the gates of Kuoh Academy and sees the Student Council outside doing their duty of checking uniforms etc.
"Morning Kaichou, Shinra-senpai," says Issei.
"Ah morning, Hyoudou-san; I hope you're well," said Sona
"Morning Hyoudou-san," says Tsubaki
"Yes, thank you, Kaichou; I'm doing great, thanks, but a bit sore from my training last night, though," said Issei.
"Training? What kind of Training?" Asked Sona out of curiosity while her eyebrow raised.
"Ah, I practice with the sword and archery. It helps me gain focus for certain things," says Issei.
"Oh, that's new. Do you mean kendo sword?" asked Sona
"Nope, my Grandparents trained me with Samurai swords such as Kenjutsu and Kyujutsu," says Issei while shaking his head from side to side.
"Well, we never saw them in practice, pardon my rudeness," said Sona while being shocked.
"Na, it ok it's more done in private schools or taught by family generations," says Issei as he shakes it off.
"Ah, I heard about that, anyways was nice talking to you, but I better head into the class. It's about to start soon," says Sona warmly.
"Ah, I'm sorry I got so comfortable talking to you. I didn't know the time anyways. Have a good day, Kaichou and Shinra-senpai. Maybe see you around?" says Issei while giving a quick bow.
"Bye, Hyoudou-san," said Sona & Tsubaki
"Well, that was unexpected especially knowing their styles," tells Sona.
"Yeah makes me wonder what else he learned," said Tsubaki.
"Hmm, I wonder myself, either way, everyone is here. Let's get to class ourselves," says Sona.
Tsubaki nodded her head in agreement.
Issei is now at the entrance of his class and knocks on the door.
*knock knock*
The teacher opens the door and brings in Issei Hyoudou.
"Welcome, class. Please sit near the window, Hyoudou-San," he said to his teacher.
"ok, sir," says Issei
"ok course, since everyone is here now, can everyone now please introduce themselves," said the teacher
Everyone introduced themselves, and Issei was sitting next to 2 girls called Murayama and Katase.
The class then starts with Math, then onto History, which Issei was very good at. As the girls noticed and were pretty much in awe with him but also there was another boy in the class with Issei which the girls loved called Yuuto Kiba, Issei could tell he was a devil from his aura but kept his eye forward not to make eye contact as he could sense Kiba staring at him.
Lunch Time
*Bell Rings*
'Thank God I can explore the campus now and find a good place to eat,' Thought Issei.
While Issei was about to move, Kiba approached Issei.
"Hi, I was wondering if you would like to be friends and walk around the campus with me?" asked Kiba
"Sure, I don't mind. I thought that myself," says Issei laughing slightly.
"Ok, where do you like to check out first?" Asked Kiba while giving a small laugh back
"hm how about where the kendo club is?" asked Issei
"Oh, that's an exciting choice. Are you into swordplay?" asked Kiba
"Yeah, I practiced it as well as archery and wanted to see what style kendo uses," says Issei
"Excellent, I think we are going to get on very well. I love anything to do with swords, and even the techniques," said Kiba
"Oh, have you trained in any styles?" Asked Issei is tilting his head to the side.
"I had a bit of training on Kenjutsu, but not a master of it, sadly," says Kiba.
"I love to have a little spar with you sometime and see if I can help out in anything," said Issei.
"Oh, that will be fun. I got a couple of swords with me in my locker if you like to have fun," says Kiba.
"Ah, now you talking, let's see if we can use the kendo room and see what you got," said Issei.
"Your on Issei-san" said Kiba
After talking, both Issei and Kiba made their way to the Kendo club and asked if they could have a bit of a sparring match with each other. They allowed it and wondered if they could become new members or what style they would use.
"You ready Issei-san?" Asked Kiba
"Yep, bring it, Kiba-san," said Issei with both grinning.
Kiba moves first with a simple straight attack which Issei counted with the hilt guard and then spun around and attacked Kiba in the back in the blink of an eye.
Kiba was shocked at how easy he was blocked and countered, this ignited the fires in his eyes, but before Kiba could attack, Issei was already advancing in such a way it looked like a mirage, Kiba decided to trust in his instincts, and managed to dodge the first attack but missed the second. Kiba was on the floor, surprised by the faint attack, and knew that Issei was on master level. Issei then holds his hand out to help Kiba up.
"That was a good match, you're quick on the attack, but the only thing I can fault you for is not focusing on your senses. It seems off like you were focusing on the eye and not all," said Issei.
"Thanks, yeah, my master says the same thing, but he usually knocks me down before I can even move" said Kiba.
"Ah yes, I guess your master is on, as I call Legendary level," said Issei.
While the two boys were talking, the kendo girls were in awe, seeing the fight between Kiba and Issei and calling them the two princes of Kouh.
Issei noticed that Tsubaki and Sona watched in detail, then disappeared before he could look.
"Well, that was interesting. I wonder how powerful he is with the bow," says Sona.
"Yeah, I feel sorry for Kiba, though," said Tsubaki while having a slight blush.
"Still not dare to ask Kiba out yet," says Sona while smiling.
"Kaichou, don't tease me like that, please," says Tsubaki blushing even harder.
"OK, right, let's see Rias and see if she got any info on Hyoudou-Kun," said Sona while giggling.
Hey Ryujin, did you sense Sona here watching Kiba and me? asked Issei
[Yes, I will be cautious. I think you might get called for something soon, said Ryujin.]
I hope not, and I enjoy this peace and fun, says Issei.
Afterward, Kiba and Issei returned to class after having something to eat under a tree near the old school building.
Meanwhile.
Before class started again, Sona and Tsubaki went into the Old School Building to see Rias if any news came across and discuss what happened in the Kendo club.
*Knock, Knock*
"Come in," said Rias.
"Hey, Rias," said Sona
"Hi, Sona and Tsubaki. So what can I do for you today?" Asked Rias
"Well, two things, First, any news about Hyoudou-Kun and wanted to talk about something interesting," said Sona.
"Well, no news of what happened with the Shinra clan as you would expect, but I found out that Issei has lived with his grandparents since he was five years old," said Rias.
"What happened to his parents?" Asked Sona with wide eyes
"Well, officially, no one knows, but unofficially it's a lot more complicated," says Rias.
"Meaning?" Asked Sona
"According to what I will be told, both his parents were caught in a crossfire between the Fallen Angels," says Rias.
"Oh, that's not good. Then I wonder if Issei knows?" Asked Sona
"Well, I don't think he does, and I don't want to bring it up," said Rias
"True, we don't know if he knows of the supernatural but then again…" says Sona.
"Why did something happen?" Asked Rias
"Well, I wanted to talk about Issei sparing Kiba in the kendo club in swordsmanship," said Sona.
"Oh did Kiba win?" Asked Rias
"Nope, he was dominated even I struggle to see through his skill level," said Sona.
"Now that's interesting indeed. Do you think he has a Sacred Gear that can unknowingly give him such moveability and access to it?" Asked Rias
"Hm, not what I know of it, more like the difference between his Kenjutsu skill and Kiba's," said Sona.
"He managed to pull a mirage attack and faint attacks within seconds," said Tsubaki.
"Wow, that's like my brother's knight Souji Okita," said Rias.
End of the Day
Issei had just finished his lessons and was about to leave when Tsubaki was at the door asking for Issei Hyoudou to come to the Student council room.
"Hyoudou-San, can you please go with Shrina-kin to the Student Council room?" Said the Teacher.
"Hai! Lead the way, Shrina-senpai," said Issei.
Tsubaki and Issei walked down the corridor when Tsubaki broke the silence and talked to Issei.
"Hyoudou-Kun, how are you enjoying school so far?" Asked Tsubaki
"Good thanks, not bad for the first day, at least," says Issei with a happy smile
"That's good then. Can I ask you something?" Asked Tsubaki
"Sure, what's on your mind?" Asked Issei
"I wondered if you were related to anyone to teach you such ways of Kenjutsu and Kyujutsu?" Asked Tsubaki
"Sure, it is not a big secret, but my ancestor was related to Kamatari," said Issei.
"Kamatari, I heard that name somewhere," says Tsubaki.
"He was mentioned in the legends of Ryujin," says Issei.
"Ah yes, I remember now, but it's been a while since I read the story might have to look at it again," says Tsubaki.
"If you need a copy, I have one on me," said Issei.
"Thank you, and I'll let you know. We are here now," said Tsubaki.
Tsubaki knocks on the door.
*knock knock*
"Enter," said Sona
"I brought Hyoudou-Kun for you, Kaichou," says Tsubaki.
"Ah yes, thank you, Tsubaki. Hi Hyoudou-Kun, I wondered why I asked you to come here," said Sona.
"Am I guessing it's about the sparring match I had with Kiba-san?" Asked Issei
"How did you know I was watching you?" Asked Sona with an eyebrow raised.
"I could tell from your energy thanks to the Senjutsu," says Issei.
"Ah, you're well-versed in ancient skills, then," said Sona with wide eyes.
"Yes, I've been taught well," says Issei while seeing a chessboard in the corner of the room.
"Would you like a game Hyoudou-Kun?" Asked Sona as spotting Issei looking at the chessboard
"Sure, I have not played in a while. I used to do it all the time with my Oji-san," says Issei.
"Ah, I have not lost a game yet, not being big-headed or anything," says Sona with a sly smirk.
"Hmm, this will be fun, then," said Issei.
After half an hour of playing, Issei lost to Sona but only just. It was mentally straining every move he counted. She was two steps ahead. The only person he knew could do that was his Grandad when he took his gloves off.
Issei is now walking home after the chess game with Sona and laughing at the time. Issei Sensed Fallen Angels in the area, which is odd considering it's under the control of Rias and Sona.
Hey, Ddraig and Ryujin, you sense the Fallen angels? asked Issei
(Yes, but they have such a low level to worry about, said Ddraig)
[I Agree but just in case, make sure you put another barrier up at your home, says Ryujin.]
Yeah, I don't want anything to happen to Grandma said Issei.
Issei got home, put another barrier up with the one he had up for extra protection, then entered his house and told his Grandma how his day went before having dinner and going to bed for the next day.
I would like to thank everyone who read my story. It's something I had never done before and wanted to do after being inspired by so many other stories I have read here. I love any feedback to improve any area or ideas for the next chapter.
