This is an entirely original story with a twist, of course. I do not own any rights to Highschool DXD but will use the characters and most of the same storyline but include some new characters. Of course, it will be a harem story but wait and find out who.

Chapter 5
Dragon's Mountain
Issei is currently training with Tannin to use his new dragon abilities, including partial dragonification, and is showing progress to Tannin's amusement. Issei also trained with other dragons, such as ice and thunder dragons, to further his stamina.
"Hey, Tannin, do you think I will be able to transform into a full dragon, or would I need to be completely turned into a dragon?" Asked a curious Issei
"Hmm, well, you can try as it's a similar process to your partial, but I think it would require all your body to be turned into a dragon's. Is that what you are thinking of doing?" Asked Tannin
"Well, I don't know the Evil Pieces I received from Sirzechs. I Imagined them turning into Dragons instead of Devil as I wanted to help bring back the dragons." Said Issei
"Ah, that's interesting. How come you want to restore the dragon's race as they were feared and hunted down?" Asked Tannin
"Yes, dragons were hunted down as they were feared, but where I am from, we also respected dragons and treated some as gods, which shows you that not all areas were scared of them." Said Issei
"That is interesting as there was only one evil dragon that Susanoo slew if I recall." Said Tannin
"The only thing that's a mystery was why Ryujin was sealed as he's a respected dragon. It's something I need to research more. It was also weird how my family was targeted when I was young. Maybe it was connected." Said Issei
"Let's carry on with your training, Issei, as you got used to dragon partification. Now to work more on your reflex and train you to fight close-quarters combat, even with fire." Said Tannin
"Ok, Tannin, let's carry on. I don't know how much longer I have before returning to the human world, so I may as well get as much training as possible." Said Issei
With Sona
"Lady Sona, Lady Sitri would like to see you in the living quarters, please," said the young maid.
"Ok, Luna-san, i will see Kaa-san. Please can bring some refreshments through to us," said Sona.
"Yes, Lady Sona, I will do it at once," says Luna as she bows
Sona then walks along the corridor of the mansion of the house of Sitri and wonders what her mother wants.
'Hm, I wonder if Kaa-san wanted to talk about my peerage training or how school is going,' Thought Sona.
Sona then reached the door to the living quarters, knocked on the door, and waited for an answer from her mother.
"Enter" shouted Lady Sitri.
Sona then opened the door, bowed to her mother, and walked to the sofa opposite her. Once she sat down, Luna the maid entered with refreshments on a tray and laid it out on the table opposite Sona and Lady Sitri.
"Thanks, Luna. You may go now and resume your duties," said Sona.
Luna then bows and leaves the room to go to Sona and her mother to talk.
"Sona, my dear, I guess you wondered why I summoned you here to talk?" Asked Lady Sitri
"Yes, Kaa-san, I wondered, but I think it's about how training and school are going," says a curious Sona.
"Hmm, half correct, dear, I heard about this boy that beat you in a serious chess game and wants to know about him as he might be your husband-to-be," stated Lady Sitri.
"… You mean you heard about Ise-Kun? Who told you about him?" Asked Sona
"Ara Ara, I think I hit the nail on the head if you call him that. Hmm, Sona, and to answer your question, I have my resources. As you know, ufufufuf," Said Lady Sitri
Kaa-san! Shouted and embarrassed Sona. Ise-kun is friendly and intelligent and has also been turned into a High-class devil thanks to Sirzechs, but his pieces don't turn them into devils but dragons, which is different." Said, Sona
"Dragons, you said hmm, so basically, he's turned into a devil dragon hybrid?" Asked Lady Sitri
"Yes, Kaa-san is currently training with Tannin-san. If you me to bring him here for you to chat to him if you would like," said Sona with a blush
'Interesting,' Thought Lady Sitri. "Yes, can you bring him? I'm sure your father would love to know the boy who stole your heart." Smilies Lady Sitri
"Ok, Kaa-san, I will go and fetch him from his training. I hope you see what I see in him," smiled Sona while she used a magic circle to teleport to Issei.
Back to Dragon Mountain
Issei has a break after another intense training with Tannin and other dragons. He wanted to ask Tannin something to see what he thought.
"Hey Tannin, I got a question for you," asked Issei
"What's that hatchling, may I ask?" Said Tannin.
"Well, what I know, the High-Class Devils, etc., have a bit of territory, correct? And since your goal is to preserve the dragon race, and I want to also help in that end, I wondered if Sirzechs will let me help out in your area?" Asked Issei cautiously
"That is true, but my other goal was to protect the Dragon Fruit that we survive on but have more people to help. It's something we will have to ask Sirzechs when the time is right, but for the time being, I say that's the end of your training for the time being as I know your a lot stronger now, and the rest of your path is up to you," said Tannin.

"It's good to hear Issei-Kun," said Sona, just coming through a magic circle.
"Sona… Is everything ok?" Asked Issei
"Yes, Issei-kun, all is ok. Don't panic while laughing. I came to pick you up as someone would like to see and chat with you," said Sona.
"Ah ok, Thank you, Tannin, for your training, and I hope we can do more business and training again soon," said Issei while walking to Sona.
"Your most welcome, Hatchling, and it will be a pleasure since us dragons got to stick together," said Tannin as he gave a smile laugh.
Issei and Sona soon disappeared through a magic circle and arrived at the Mansion of Sitri, where Sona's Peerage was awaiting Sona's arrival.
"Welcome back, Sona," says Sona's Peerage.
"Thank you, everyone. You can now rest and do some homework if you have any to do as training will continue tomorrow," says Sona.
"Hai!" Says Sona's Peerage before leaving.
"Ok, time for you to meet my parents, Issei," said Sona while blushing
"Wait… that's who wanted to see and speak to me? Erm, is this about me beating you in chess and the possibility of marrying you?" Asks Issei nervously
"Yes, I believe so, but I also think they want to know more about you. That's all I know. They were looking forward to seeing you through even my sister who is the other Maou with Sirzechs wanted to see you as well as she's bit overprotective sorry about that" Said Sona.
"That's ok. I can understand as they want to make sure everything is ok for their cute and beautiful daughter," says Issei.
"Issei… T-th-thank you anyways. We better get going. They wonder why we are taking so long," Said Sona as she blushed from the response.
As Issei and Sona walked through the corridors of the Sitri Mansion, Issei admired all the art and water features inside as she had never seen such a wonderful sight. They arrived at the door to the living quarters where Lady Sitri and Lord Sitri were and breathed in to relax before entering.
*Knock, Knock*
"Enter," said Lady Sitri
Sona entered with Issei behind her while both bowed and moved to the sofa.
"Oka-san, Ota-san this is Issei Hyoudou" said Sona
"Ah, welcome, Issei-san," said Lady Sitri and Lord Sitri.
While Issei was introducing himself to Lady and Lord Sitri, going through all the details of how he met Sona and how he became who he is today even explained what happened to his parents and being brought up by his grandparents, which has brought him being on his own, to which Lady Sitri and Lord Sitri was going to shock Issei by what they were going to suggest next.
"Issei, that's such a sad thing to hear about your parents but also able to carry on living for them. Under the guidance of your grandparents, I think they did a lovely job and would know your parents will be happy to see who you have become by being such an honest and loving person. And Therefore, I would like to purpose something for you." Said Lady Sitri
"Thank you, Lady Sitri. I know they would be proud as I am proud as I hope to carry their dream, but what is it you like to purpose?" Asked Issei
"I know we won't be able to replace them, but how about you call us your mother and father as you will soon be our son-in-law if you go with a marriage proposal." Said Lady Sitri
"Well, that would be an honor, and would it be ok if we get married when we are a bit older, as I think it's too early at present." Said Issei
"That seems reasonable. How about we make a marriage contract to get married at about 20?" Said Lord Sitri
"That sounds fair to me, Ota-san," said Issei.
"Oh dear, he said it is happy to say mother as well, Issei-san," said Lady Sitri
"Oka-san…" Said Issei nervously
Lady Sitri was now all giggling as they got a new son into the family, while Sona was embarrassed at the sight she was saying while looking at Issei he was blushing too hard.
"We have a guest room you can use. Issei-san, please treat this as your own home as well. Sona dear, please show him to the room and have a good rest Issei-san." said Lady and Lord Sitri
"Ok, Thank you, Ota-san and Oka-san," said Issei while walking out with Sona.
"Ise-kun, I am sorry you had to see mother and father display like that. It is embarrassing, but they are delighted," said Sona
"Thanks, Sona-kun, it's ok. It's nice to see these kinds of things as I never got to experience it with my parents apart from my grandparents. Anyways care to chat inside or have a friendly chess game, maybe?" Asked Issei
"I would love to get to know each other a bit more. How does that sound? Ise-kun~" says Sona flirting a bit.
Issei started blushing at that remark and brought Sona in and started playing a friendly game of chess while chatting, getting to know each other much better to the point when it was Sona's time to go, and she stood at the door with Issei near her. She blushed when she decided to kiss him on the lips. It shocked Issei at first, but he reprimanded it back to her before saying good night and thus ending the day.
Issei's Mindscape
Issei's currently in his mindscape with Ddraig and Ryujin presently learning some of the skills of Ddraigs to use the Boosted Gear more efficiently and even introduced Issei to some of the past hosts that could help him even learn skills that they mastered, even hearing their stories. Two of the most robust hosts were the most interesting, Elsha, the strongest female host, and Belzard, the strongest male host. He quickly learned Elsha likes to tease and was hugging Issei to the point his arm was encased in her breasts, which he ended up going bright red with intense blush.
"Why are you so embarrassed? All I am doing is hugging you from behind," causing Elsha to pout.
"That's because you keep doing it with your breasts out. I am a teenager. Remember, I am not used to getting this thing," said Issei while blushing hard.
"Haha, she did similar things to me at first, then she decided to go fully naked to try and tease me," said Belzard.
"Can it stop now, please? I thought you were supposed to teach me something, not try and tease me," says Issei while his hands hold his head.
"Ok, ok, I am sorry, Issei. I just can't help it as you're so cute, but what would you like to learn or know as I can teach you as much as I know," says Elsha while pouting.
"Hmm, well, I think learning some history and maybe other subjects if that's ok as I have a lot of skills and would like to master them more before gaining more to worry about," says Issei, rubbing his back head.
"(Sorry to interrupt Issei, but someone is at your door, so you will need to wake up now,") said Ddraig.
*Knock Knock*
"Come in," said Issei, finally awaking from his sleep and mindscape.
"Hi Issei, Sona asked me to fetch you for breakfast if you want to join us," Momo said.
"Ah, thanks. I'll be there in a bit, then," says Issei as he gets out of bed, revealing his toned body to Momo, who blushed redder than Sirzechs hair.
"Ok, already, Momo, thanks for waiting," said Issei while following her to the dining room.
"Ah, Welcome, Issei-san. Breakfast is ready in a few. Take a seat with the rest of Sona's Peerage," says Lady Sitri while waiting for the maids to bring the food to the table.
"Ah, thank you, Oka-san, while blushing as not used to calling someone's mother blushing. Is there a way to talk to Sirzechs-sama or Grayfia-san as I need to ask them about something" asked by Issei?
"Sure, we can sort a meeting out for you if it is urgent or whenever they are free," says Lord Sitri with a curious look on his face.
"Nothing serious. I need to ask him not to tell Rias-san about me being a high devil as I want to be a hidden 3rd tall devil in the background for assistance if you get me," says Issei.
"Hmm, interesting, so basically, you want to be hidden, and only people will know there is the Sona and her peerage and the Moau's," said Lord Sitri.
"Yeah, the other point is cause I have not got any peerage members. Still, before I scout for potential members, I want to study how a high devil class behaves and need to know which I hope I can get help from Sona-Kun, Tsubaki-Kun, and Grayfia-san if possible as then I will have all aspects possible," said Issei.
"Oh, now that's interesting. I think that will be a wise call, and I will see if I can arrange something with Sirzechs, maybe see if he will come over, so Sona dear can you help Issei with his endeavors for his task as well? To help you with any training," says Lord Sitri.
"Of course, Ota-san and I think Ise-kun already knows how to help me with my peerage as we were discussing it when I showed him to his room," said Sona.
Training Room
"So Ise-Kun, what's the plan for training today? I am still confused about why you asked us to do a sprint course like what's at school," said Sona with a confused look.
"Well, the first thing is we are going to do running to boost everyone's stamina, including yours, Sona-Kun, and Tsubaki-Kun, as you need to be able to escape quickly when forced into a situation cornered. Still, it will not be that easy as I learned a spell from Tannin-san when he trained me on my stamina to enhance my dragon abilities. So once you are all dressed in gym wear, I will modify them with this spell according to your pieces, and once you get used to them, they will be made harder each day," says Issei with determination.
"Ok, everyone changed into gym wear, and let us start Ise's training plan to help us," says Sona.
"Hai!" Says, everyone.
20 mins later…..
"Ok, Issei, everyone is all dressed in our outfits. Now what?" Asked Sona
"This…" grins Issei.
Suddenly all the girls felt wait being added to them, and they all nearly fell as they didn't expect it.
"ISSEI!" Shouted everyone.
"As Issei was shrugging and laughing simultaneously, sorry, sorry, couldn't resist. As you are aware now, I added weight to your clothes. Everyone has different weights depending on your nasty piece, so I will tell you what everyone has to make it fair, Tsubasa. Since you are the central rook, your weight is 500lbs since your trait should let you handle that much, Tomoe, since you are the leading knight, yours is 250lbs, Reya and Momo, yours is 100 due to being bishops, Tsubaki as queen you have every ability as the others but since I know you to be last defense I have given you 150lbs and Sona you have the same amount as Tsubaki as you both are the most at the back, so you need to build your stamina up the most from the beginning" said Issei.
"So what weight do you get, Ise-Kun? As I am guessing you are running with us," asked Sona with a curious head tilt.
"Me, well, I got the most due to my dragon trait. With the additional stamina from my piece, I can handle a lot more, so I will be running around with 750lbs, ok so let's start the training. We are doing this for an hour, by the way, then we are taking a break, then we will be doing other exercises like pushups, etc." said Issei.
After 3 hours, everyone took an extended break to let the muscle relax a bit and have some healing sports drinks to help out. They will soon start the next part of the training, which boosts their traits.
"So Ise-Kun, what's next on the agenda after we rested, and by the way, your evil making us run with this kind of weight," said Sona staring daggers at Issei.
"Next, we are enhancing the piece traits, so I am pairing some of you against each other, so you are against Tsubaki-Kun, Momo against Reya, and Tsubasa against Tomoe as I want to see where each other is at and work on there," said Issei.
"Ise-kun, may I ask how you know each of these traits and what we can probably handle as you didn't think you know this as only just becoming a king yourself?" Asked Sona
"I did a bit of studying last night before I went to sleep, so I had a basic idea of what piece could handle. Since I know you're more of a taction than a heavy hitter, I needed to focus on getting your stamina and other defenses up to give you an edge against such things," said Issei.
"Wow, so what would you classify yourself as out of curiosity?" Asks Sona
"Hmm, well, I am a bit of a taction myself, but I am also a heavy hitter, so I am basically in the middle of both as I would counter, then use force if needed," said Issei.
"Hm, that does make sense as I saw what you could do myself, and you use your magic wisely, unlike my best friend group," says Sona with a palm on her face.
"Oh, is she that bad," said Issei as he laughed.
"Oh, believe it, and she doesn't take training very seriously and is sadly spoiled too much, but each to their own, I guess," says Sona.
"I am sure she takes it seriously when dealing with a low blow. If not, she shouldn't be worthy of being able to handle a peerage till she can prove herself," said Issei.
"I guess you have to keep an eye on her, then Issei-san," said a mysterious person.
As Issei jumps from the sudden voice. "Ah, Sirzechs-sama, sorry for being rude. I know Rias-san is your sister and all, "said Issei, still having a heart attack from the sudden jump scare.
"I am happy someone can say that considering you've only been a high devil for two days now, and hello, Sona, I see you and your peerage are training, well," said Sirzechs while laughing.
"Hello Sirzechs-san, and yes, Issei has been helping us out a lot and given us a nice schedule to work on. In the meantime, I will start the next part of the training for you, Ise-kun, so you can have your talk with Sirzechs-san," said Sona.
"Thank you, Sona-Kun but make sure everyone has rested beforehand," said Issei.
"Will do," says Sona while smiling.
"So Issei-san, I heard from Lord Sitri you wanted to ask me about something?" said Sirzechs.
"Yes, I wondered if you could keep my status as quiet until needed as me being new and suddenly helping out as a hidden helper in Kuoh would probably cause some headache in politics, no doubt," says Issei.
"Hmm, well, that is true. Does this include my adorable Sister Issei-san?" Sirzechs replied with a sad-looking face
"Yes, I would say so as no doubt if she knew she would use me to do most of the stray devil encounters or tasks she would think would be too much for her," said Issei.
"Well, actual plus, it will prove if she is worthy in your eyes to handle her territory and peerage," said Sirzechs with a concerned look.
"Yes and no, I just want to be there if something goes wrong. Either Sona-Kun or Rias-san needs a backup plus, if you think of it, I heard from Sona-Kun that Rias is engaged to a Riser Phenex, and if he is like what I heard, I might be able to help out in that area if push comes to shove" said Issei.
"Oh, you mean like you find he is unsuitable even if it was an arranged marriage," said Sirzechs with a happy-looking face.
"Yes, as I know, you don't want your sister to be used as a prize just to be shown off. If someone got to marry another heir, they need to be able to act accordingly. I know I only just became a high devil and not a full devil-like yourself and other heirs. Still, I want to work as you would expect me to be," says Issei with determination.
"I now can see why Sona-san has fallen for you so hard even if she hides it, and I am glad to have a loyal servant and friend, if I must say, a little brother," wink Sirzechs while giving a slight smirk.
"Little brother? What do you mean, Sirzechs-sama?" Asked Issei
"I am married to Serafall Leviathan, the older sister of Sona, so basically, you are my brother-in-law," smiled Sirzechs.
"Oh wow, I'm gaining a second big family," smiled Issei.
"Anyway, I also heard you would like some training from Grayfia in what kind of training you were thinking of," said Sirzechs.
"Well, I was hoping Grayfia-san, as well as Sona-Kun and Tsubaki-Kun, be able to train me in ways of the devil society, especially high-class devil status, from how to do specific matches of the Rating game to selecting the right piece for a person to a devils contract duty if that's ok," said Issei.
"Oh, that wouldn't be a problem at all, and if you need help with getting a servant, I am happy to help out but don't rush for servants as you can make the wrong choice if not careful," said Sirzechs.
"Oh, I know I am taking my time. I will most likely study before hunting for suitable members," says Issei.
Ok, guys, this is the end of this chapter, and let you all know it might look like Issei is OP, but you got to think he has two sacred gears, but I also not making him OP too much, just a lot wiser on his tactics rather than the full-on brute force like in the original. In the chapter, I will be looking at the end of the 1st Year at Kuoh and entering the cannon period, so stay tuned and hope you enjoy this chapter :D
