Chapter 6
Recap from the last chapter….
Well, I was hoping Grayfia, as well as Sona-Kun and Tsubaki-Kun, be able to train me in ways of the devil society, especially high-class devil status, from how to do specific matches of the Rating game to selecting the right piece for a person to a devils contract duty if that's ok said Issei.
Oh, that wouldn't be a problem at all, and if you need help with getting a servant, I am happy to help out but don't rush for servants as you can make the wrong choice if not careful said Sirzechs.
Oh, I know I am taking my time. I will most likely study before hunting for suitable members, says Issei.

"Oh, that sounds reasonable. I am glad that you have a plan on what you are searching for your peerage-wise. What should we do about land for yourself and future peerage members, Issei?" Said Sirzechs
"Well, I would like to come back to that if possible, Sirzechs-sama if possible, as I only just became High class, and I would think that would upset a few people, but in the future, I was hoping I can help Tannin in his territory if that be ok?" Asked Issei
"Hmm, I'm sure I can sort something out. I don't think I'm actually in his area, but I can work something on the outskirts maybe, but I will wait for you to believe you are ready," says Sirzechs.
"Thanks, Sirzechs-sama, even if possible, as I want to help Tannin out, and considering I have a dragon peerage, it would be the best area," said Issei.
"No problem, Issei-san. Well, I better head back to the office and do some more paperwork before I get moaned at by your new older sister," says Sirzechs while laughing.
"Ok, say hi for me if she is there, and I hope I get to see her sometime and say hi to Grayfia-san as well, please," says Issei.
As Issei finishes talking to Sirzechs, he walks over to the Sitri Peerage to complete the training sessions and watches the fight between them all to see what needs to be improved or advice on. Watching the spar matches, he can see Sona and Tsubaki going at each other but noticed Tsubaki was more on the defensive while Sona was on the offensive, using her knowledge of water spells.
"Sona-Kun, Tsubaki-Kun, can you stop a second, please," says Issei calmly.
"What's up, Ise-Kun? Have you noticed something off?" says Sona, tilting her head to the side?
"Well, yes and no, I just got a question for Tsubaki-Kun. Do you know any of your old clan magic out of curiosity?" Says Issei.
"Sadly not, as I was hidden away, why you ask?" said Tsubaki with a confused look.
"Well, would you like to learn some as I got some books about each of the five clans from my friend I was training with, and it has some spells in there that you might be able to use," said Issei with a smiling face?
"I would love to if it helps as it's complicated with simple element spells and my sacred gear," says Tsubaki.
"Ise-kun, how come you got books about the five clans as I would have thought you need to be part of the family to know their knowledge," asked Sona with a confused look.
"Well, usually yes, but my friend is quite a knowledgeable person in all aspects, laughed Issei. Here you go, Tsubaki-Kun," as Issei grabs a book from another dimension to pass to her.
"Thank you, Issei-Kun. I will go and study it," says Tsubaki with a happy smile.
"I also got a book for you, Sona-kun, if you're interested," said Issei.
"Sure, what is it? Ise-Kun?" asks Sona with an exciting look.
"Well, it's a back passed down to me from my Grandparents about Susanoo and Ryujin's water powers, and I thought you might be able to use them as I can," said Issei with a big grin.
"Thanks, Ise-Kun. I hope it will give me some ideas for maybe new spells," says Sona with a happy look.
"No problem, Sona-Kun. Well, I better take a look at the others, and we can then have a rest and food," maybe says Issei.
After talking to Sona, Issei started walking toward Tomoe and Tsubasa to see how they were doing and maybe help them improve on anything they could use for advantage. While watching them fight, he can see what areas they could do and noticed how well balanced they are and using their traits to the best they can.
"Hey, Tomoe and Tsubasa want to take a break to breathe. If you like to listen, I have some ideas for you," said Issei while smiling.
"Hai!" Tomoe and Tsubasa said.
"Ok, from what I have seen, you both have a perfect understanding of your traits which give you the edge only advice I will give to top it and give you more advantage over another powerful foe is to think of out the box, so learn to be able to cast elemental magic while attack so even making the ground slippery or use the earth to make a shield to defend against an attack vice versa," said Issei with a smile.
"Ok, after your break, do another round for 30mins with what I suggested and see how creative you can be. Remember, I know it's training but think of it as an experience in what could happen in Rating Games," Said Issei. At the same time, Issei starts to sit beside Sona and sees her indulged in the book, sees stars in her eyes, and gives a small laugh at seeing it.
Timeskip…
While walking to his room with Sona having her arm through his, laughing and talking from today's training and telling her about what was said to Sirzechs to make sure she doesn't say anything to Rias, he gave her an evil grin, Issei though, she's up to mischief.
"Ne Sona-Kun, would you like to cuddle with me tonight?" Asked Issei while being embarrassed and hopeful at the same time.

"I-I-I-Ise-Kun, are you sure that's o-ok? I know we are engaged, but I would love to," said Sona while stuttering and going bright red in the face, if that's ok.
"I-i am sure I would love your company Sona-Kun," Issei replied while stuttering.
As Issei leads Sona to the bed and moves the covers, he goes to the bathroom to get changed into some sleeping gear, as he calls it, which is a light t-shirt with red shorts on, which shows his athletic body which made Sona drool slightly and decided to change into her sleepwear too. When she came out, she was wearing an aqua nightgown with a see-through bottom showing off her stomach with matching underwear while holding a blush and making Issei slightly nosebleed from seeing the appearance.
"W-wow, Sona, you look even more beautiful," says Issei blushing hard while trying not to make out he has a perverted side.
"T-T-Thank y-you Ise you look stunning yourself," said Sona while blushing but joining Issei in bed and getting ready to snuggle into him.
Issei then turned around to hold Sona close to him to enjoy the embrace that would soon develop into a more romantic situation and think about what she said about polygamy, meaning more than one woman might fall in love with him.
Return to Kuoh
As Issei, Sona, and her Peerage were about to return home, they said their goodbyes and also Lord Sitri and Lady Sitri said they would love to visit him sometime in the human world, which he welcomed but asked to give him a heads up so he can tidy clean his house while laughing. As Issei was walking along with Sona, she suggested that he hide his aura and go invisible as they approach the Gremory Train, so Rias and her Peerage don't notice and question him as he is supposed to be a hidden member.
As everyone entered the train, he followed Sona to her area with the peerage but hid as Rias entered the carriage to talk to Sona about general things.
"Hey, Sona, how was your summer training?" says Rias with a grin on her face hoping to aggravate Sona.
"Hey, Ria's training went well. We had some harsh training and some new insight on tactics. Thanks to are new trainer," said Sona with an evil grin knowing Rias would bite.
"You say a new trainer, hm I don't feel any change in your aura though must be a rubbish trainer if nothing has changed," Rias said nonchalantly.
'Oh, I will make her pay for that,' said Issei in his thoughts.
"He also taught us how to suppress our auras to surprise enemies to think we are not so strong," Sona says with an annoyed look, knowing Rias just insulted her future husband.
After the talk, Rias returned to her carriage as the Sona wanted to rest a bit before returning to Kuoh, which she knew Issei would be annoyed with and hoped that he wouldn't do anything reckless.
"Ne Ise-Kun, we should be ok to talk now. I activated a privacy barrier so no one can interrupt us," Sona says, hoping to calm Issei down if he's annoyed.
"It's ok, Sona-Kun. I am not annoyed with Rias-san even though I will make her pay in due time when she asks me to help train her peerage when the time comes for it showing an evil grin," says Issei.
"Ufufufu will feel sorry for Rias, knowing precisely what that entails when doing it herself," says Sona.
"From what I could tell, she's not trained, as his aura hadn't budged from what I could feel when we were at school. I feel sorry for her peerage. If she's not putting in the time to train, I might have to talk to Sirzechs and find out what she's been up to doing summer as well as her peerage if I am going to help both you and her in managing Kuoh in the background" Issei says with an annoyed look.
"Knowing her, she's probably been sat on her butt while being spoiled, and no doubt," says Sona with venom in her voice.
"I am guessing she's done something stupid for you to sound that angry Sona is being worried," says Issei.
"Even though she's my friend, her lack of focus and other things annoy me that she hopes everything will go her way. Still, I hope you are careful as I know she's been bugging me about you, so she might try and move to gain you in her peerage even though I know that be impossible," says Sona, slightly worried and annoyed at the same time.
"Oh, I will be careful. I want to see how she would try and approach me as she does the wrong thing. I will throw the book at her and let Sirzechs know as even though he's her brother, he is also a Maou and would take things seriously if not up to standard," says Issei in a severe matter.
"Well, we are nearly at our destination. How about we cuddle on the bed mischievously," says Sona.
"Sure, darling~ I would love to," said Issei while teasing Sona for her to go bright red when he said that.
Timeskip for a couple of hours…
As everyone arrived at their destination of Kuoh, they stretched and bowed to each other while heading home and knowing summer was over and school started again at the start of the week. Issei, Sona, and Tsubaki were walking home, heading towards Issei's house and discussing how he would be in school to make sure he was not making it look like he was part of the supernatural.
"So, Ise-Kun, how do you plan to disguise yourself in school to make your part of the supernatural side of things less noticeable?" Asked Tsubaki while tilting her head with question marks above.
"That's easy, Tsu-Kun I am going to blend in by helping certain clubs like Kendo and possible the Archery club as there are areas I learned in, so be like a manager/trainer in a way well with yours and Sona-kun help, of course, but also will have to be careful when meeting you guys in council room so if anything needs to be discussed can always do it at mine after school if that's ok," says Issei.
"That works for us, Ise-Kun, and makes sense as even though we know about you being a 3rd party in the management of Kuoh, and we have to make sure we don't as it would ruin the plan a bit," says Sona while smiling.
"If you two want to sleep over at mine, there are a couple of spare rooms available, like late-night meetings," says Issei trying to hide his blush.
"Ufufufu Ise-kun~ you bad boy trying to seduce my King and her Queen," says Tsubaki in a flirty way.
"I-I-I was being nice. I wasn't trying to do anything terrible," said Issei going bright red with Tsubaki teasing him.
"Tsubaki stops teasing my husband to be~ while mischievously looking at Ise-Kun," Sona said teasingly.
"Why me!" says Issei as he palms his face while still red in the face.
"We are only playing Ise-Kun. We are happy to stay over some nights," says Sona while laughing at the embarrassed Issei.
"After that, would you two like a drink, or are you heading straight home?" Asks Issei while still red in the face
"We will do it another time. Ise-kun also got a lot of paperwork to sort out for getting ready for school as we reached the school festival to prepare for," says Sona with a sad look, knowing it's going to be a long night.
"Ok, no worries, but make sure you drink that tea I gave you as it helps out when doing paperwork, and Tsubaki makes sure she gets proper sleep, or I will kick both your asses," says Issei while laughing, knowing Tsubaki is a Masochist.
"I-I-I will, don't worry," said Tsubaki as she stutters and blushes while picturing her getting punished by Issei
"No need for that, Ise-Kun, and please don't tease Tsubaki like that. You know she would enjoy that punishment~" says Sona in a teasing mood, knowing it makes her Queen blush harder.
"Hahaha, I have never seen you so red before, Tsubaki, and here's me thinking you were sweet and innocent," says Issei while laughing hard. His stomach hurts.
"Hmph, you both mean," says Tsubaki as she pouts with a red face.
"Ok, ok, I will stop now. Have a good night, ladies, and Sona-Kun," said Issei while approaching Sona.
"Yes, Ise-Ku." Before Sona could finish, Issei grabbed her waist and kissed her on the lips like a good night kiss.
"Night Sona-Kun, Night Tsu-kun, don't work too hard," says Issei while waving the girls off while grinning and leaving Sona in shock with a massive blush.
New year's day Eve
As Issei cleans his house and prepares meals for his guest to arrive, which our Lord and Lady Sitri or his Parents in law as they call themselves, Sona, Serafall, Sirzechs, and Grayfia as a big family, he even prepares the bedrooms in case they slept over as expected, Grayfia came round early to help out with food and also taught Issei more about his roles for the future, so it was a two in one situation which he liked.
"I appreciate your help Grayfia-san. I would be rushing around like a housefly and panicking too much," Issei said while smiling.
"No problem at all, Ise-san. It was fun and different from what happens typically. I never really celebrated the start of a New Year with anyone, so I was thrilled that you invited me," Grayfia says while smiling.
"Grayfia-san, can I ask you something, and I hope I don't offend you by requesting it?" Says Issei while nervous.
"Sure, and don't worry, I won't be upset, I promise," says Grayfia.
"I wondered if you would like to be my big sister as I never really had a sister, and you treat me like family," Issei says nervously and hoping she says yes.
"Gasp… Ise. I would love that as I don't have any family apart from the Gremory household," said Grayfia with a big smile.
"Yeah, I would love it, plus we can hopefully hang out more like a family member would like to go to festivals and such," says Issei with a happy face.
"Grayfia suddenly rushed over to Issei and hugged him as it was the happiest thing she's had in a long time. In that case, Ise-san would like me to stay over some nights so we can be like siblings." Grayfia said with the biggest smile on her face
"I would love it if it's ok with Sirzechs and the rest of the Gremory household, as I don't want you to lose your job over it," says Issei with a happy but worried face.
"It will be fine, Ise-san. I think they would love that as well, as it brings everyone even closer. Since everything is ready, why don't we watch some tv together while waiting for everyone else to turn up," Grayfia says while in a giggly mood
As Grayfia and Issei sat on the sofa to watch TV, Grayfia caught Issei off guard and pulled him down onto her lap to give him a lap pillow while playing with his hair. Issei was blushing hard and hoped no one saw this but enjoyed it simultaneously, which Grayfia noticed and did a soft giggle seeing his reaction.
A couple of hours later, food was ready and placed on the table as the other guests started to arrive, with Sona and Tsubaki coming first, the Lord and Lady Sitri, then last was Serafall and Sirzechs. Issei greeted them and poured them a drink while sitting at the table where the food was covered and watching the steam come off it.
"Thanks for inviting us. The food smells lovely, and also, this feels like a family reunion," said Lady and Lord Sitri giggling as they said that.
"Yeah, I was shocked, but Ise-kun, it's nice to see you finally. My name is Serafall or Sera-san. If you like to call me that as your new sister-in-law, I was thrilled to get an invite with Sirzechs. I couldn't sleep a wink," says Serafall, with stars all excited in her eyes.
"Now Sera-Kun, you're scaring him with that excitement as Sirzechs chuckles, but I agree with Sera-kun that we are happy about the invite and to be together like this is a nice change," Sirzechs says
"Thank you for inviting us as well, Ise-Kun. We usually do the paperwork for school and do not get a chance to celebrate this kind of thing," says Sona.
"I wanted to do this as we are family now and Sirzechs. I have a report for you as well but will hand that to you later on as I don't want the business to ruin this moment," said Issei smiling and enjoying today.
'I hope you are watching mum and dad. I found the love of my life and also gained a new family. Please watch over us,' Thought Issei while starting to eat the food with his new family.
As it passed Midnight, everyone shouted Happy New Year and celebrated with a bit of drink before everyone started to head home at the end of the night. First was Lord and Lady Sitri. They gave Ise a big hug and thanked him for this particular moment, and Next was Serafall and Sirzechs as they hugged him before disappearing to their home. Last to go was Grayfia as she kissed him on the cheek and said, "See you soon, the little brother, with a massive smile."
The only people left were Issei, Sona, and Tsubaki, which looked tired, so Issei suggested they stay over, which they were happy to do.
When it was the next day, Issei woke up to a sight he never thought would happen. On his left was Sona using his hand as a pillow while snuggled into him, and on the right was Tsubaki, also doing the same thing. He could hear Ddraig and Ryujin laughing, saying it begins as Issei just looked surprised, trying to process what was going on. Sona started to stir and then looked up to Issei and smiled. Then, she saw Tsubaki on the other side and did a small giggle before looking back up to Issei and giving him a morning kiss before getting up and heading to the shower while shaking her hips teasingly. Tsubaki then slowly woke up and looked at her situation, blushed hard, and stuttered.
"I-I-I-I'm Sorry, Ise-Kun. I didn't realize I did this as she tried to get up," said Tsubaki
As Issei kept hold of her and kissed her on the head.
"I don't mind Tsu-Kun, and Sona-Kun doesn't care either. She even giggled seeing this, don't get me wrong, I was a little shocked at first, but it was excellent as well," Issei said while in a blush.
"T-Thank you, Ise-Kun. Well, I better head into the shower next after Sona-Kun." Tsubaki said
"No worries, I will start breakfast, then have a shower after you have been, so take your time," says Issei while having a big smile.
As breakfast was ready, Sona and Tsubaki joined Issei, enjoying the food he made, talked about what class everyone would be in when they moved and made sure Issei wasn't in the same category. Only Momo will be in his class.

After finishing school, Issei decided to head to the convenience store when he sensed a strong aura and was a high level of Fallen Angel which made Issei sweat a bit.
(This Aura feels familiar, one I not sensed in a long time, says Ddraig)
Who is it, Ddraig? I know it's a powerful one, but why are they here.
(His name is Azazel, his leader of the Fallen Angels, and it seems like he's been here for a while, said Ddraig)
Hmm, well looks like he noticed me hide your auras.
"Well then, it's strange to bump into you dragon boy," says Azazel, who is wearing a male Yukata and has black hair with blonde highlights and a goatee.
"Well, I would say the same thing, Azazel. It's odd for the leader of Fallen Angels to be in a devil terrority of all things, so how can I help you?" Calmly said Issei.
"I was hoping we could talk and get to know each other as Sirzechs informed me about you, and don't worry, I won't spoil your hidden role in Kuoh as I am also keeping an eye on the background as I feel at peace here," says Azazel with a grin.
"I don't mind that, but I wish Sirzechs had informed me about this," Issei said nonchalantly.
"Haha, so how about we chat while we have something to eat at yours? Then I heard you make good meals," Azazel said with a grin.
"Yeah, sure, I know this will be a headache. How about we have some Sushi and Miso soup with green tea?" Issei says while holding the bridge of his nose.
"Sounds good to me, but can I bring my Saki instead, as I know this might be a lengthy discussion, and you're going to curse it," said Azazel while laughing.
Ok, that's the end of the Chapter. I hope you enjoy it. As you can see, we are now entering the Canon period, and there will be a few changes as expected, but it's going to be interesting.
