Chapter 8
"Ah, can you give me a back massage? It's been such a stressful day at school, and with the new members of my peerage, it's manic," Sona replied with a defeated look.
"Ufufufu of cause darling, I will be happy to~," Issei said in a flirting way.
Issei followed Sona into his bedroom, where both stripped and then laid down on the bed while Issei got some massage oils ready to give his lover a back massage which she would love.
He started using the Shiatsu technique, which not only restores the chi flow in the body but also helps in other areas currently using it for the back. Sona was moaning in the pleasure of what she was receiving from her future husband and felt her powers not only getting restored but felt like they were growing like being in sync.
"Wow, Ise, this feels great. I never felt so relaxed and the weight lifted off me before," says Sona with a sleepy-looking face.
"Ufufufu, glad you enjoyed it, my darling~" replied Issei in a teasing mood
"Just cuddle me already, you baka hehe," Sona said while giggling.
"Ok, Sona, here I come, hehe~," Issei said as he went under the covers to snuggle with Sona.
As Issei woke up, he noticed how comfortable Sona was with her head on his chest and her arms wrapped around him. He felt complete and happy at the same time and wondered how the future would go. Sona then suddenly started to stir and slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Issei with a smile which she gave back then kissed him good morning.
"Morning, Sona. I hope you slept well, and how's your back this morning," asked Issei in a cheerful mood.
"Morning Ise, I slept well, thank you, and my back is a lot better I just happy I finally got to cuddle you been ages," replied Sona with a satisfied look.
"I know, right by the way, what are your plans for today?" asked Issei
"Well, I got to go and do some more student council work than my devil job," said Sona with a sad look.
"I see by the way I saw Rias made her move I could sense one of her servants watching me yesturday but not only that a fallen angel had followed me, so please be careful when walking about Sona," said Issei.
"Hm, I see and hold on to what you mean a fallen angel there supposed to be in this area," says Sona now with a worried look.
"Well, I already contacted higher-ups. At the moment, they are not doing anything. They just told me to keep an eye out, and it ought to happen to let them know," replied Issei with a concerned look.
"Ah, ok, well, I will advise my peerage to watch out and try not to cause any problems till we know the situation, so I hope you fill me in when it happens, please," asked Sona with a pleaful look of concern.
"Don't worry, I will, my love, as you know your safety is important and Rias, but you're first in my book," says Issei while laughing at the last bit he said.
"Ufufufu, I'm glad I am first for once in something but thank you. I know it is hard to talk about it as you are getting watched by Rias now but at least be able to text me and let me know that way," says Sona with a smile
"Yeah, I know that's why I am being careful on how I approach you or the others, but I also get the feeling Rias will do something foolish soon, but we will see," said Issei with a concerned look.
"That wouldn't surprise me. Sadly, she has no tact approach on some things," says Sona while facepalming.
"Haha, well, you better get ready to head out, my love, so you're not late. Then I will get ready and head to school," replied Issei while kissing the top of Sona's head.
"Ok, darling, thank you again for last night, and I hope it won't be long till I get to snuggle you again soon," said Sona while winking before disappearing into a magic circle.
Scene Break
Issei now finished his breakfast and left his house to walk to school when he notices both auras of the devil and the fallen angel again, now thinking this will be a long day, and sighs. As he was approaching the gates to the school, he saw what looked like the other heiress which he knew but had not spoken to yet, so he was going to ignore her even though she was pretty. He thought she had crimson hair like her brother with blue eyes and a decent size rack. Just as Issei was about to walk in the entrance, Rias tried to talk to him but went past her.
"Erm, excuse me, can I talk with you?" says the crimson-haired woman
"Sorry, I can't at the moment. I will be late maybe another time," replied Issei as he tried to get away fast as he could.
"Oh, okay," said the crimson-haired woman with a sad expression.
As Issei went past her, he noticed both presences following him had gone and was a bit relieved, so he was now heading to class to get settled in when he bumped into Momo on the way.
"Ah hey, Momo, you heading into class as well?" asked Issei
"Hey Issei, yeah would you like to chat to me on the way in?" replied Momo
"Sure, did you notice Rias was waiting for me at the gate this morning?" whispered Issei
"Yeah, that's a bit weird as I noticed Koneko was watching you from behind," whispered Momo
"Well, she's been following me since last night, then again this morning it's proper annoying but expected it would happen," said Issei with a facepalm expression.
"Well, she approaches people very differently than Sona," said Momo while trying not to laugh.
"I noticed that even Sona says she has no tach to them things ufufufu," said Issei while giggling
"Ufufufu, we here we better get seated and hopefully chat more about it at lunch?" Momo says while giggling herself.
"Yeah, ah, good luck in today's pop quiz test," Issei said with a grin.
"Huh, what do you mean test? Wait, did I miss something?" Momo said, now sweating bullets
"Yeah, we got a pop quiz on maths and history today," Issei replied with a serious look.
"AHHHHHHH, Sona will kill me if I get a bad score now," Momo says, starting to panic.
"You be fine, Momo. It's not a real test, just a mock test of sorts to see if we understand what we learned so far, ufufufu," Issei replied while giggling abit
"Oh, that's ok then. I was proper panicking then," Momo says, now breathing a sound of relief.
"Well, its best you quickly review the work before the teacher comes in to jog your memory just in case," Issei said
"I quickly do that, then thanks, Issei," Momo said before quickly reviewing her work.
"No worries," Issei said with a smile
Bells rings
School bell finally rang for lunchtime, so he packed his stuff into his bag and headed to the canteen to grab some food to eat outside in his favorite spot and hoping not to get interrupted.
"Hey, Ddraig, is it possible to hide the booster gear gauntlet and maybe will it into like a sword?" Issei asked with curiosity
"(Hmm, maybe if you will it, may I ask why?)," Ddraig said while raising his brow.
"Well, I was thinking of a way to hide your presence but still able to use your abilities if you get me," Issei said with a thought.
"(Interesting, it could work. Where you are thinking of possibilities in a match with someone?)," Ddraig asked, getting interested in where this was going.
"Well, I thought to cause no doubt I will have to fight that Riser Phenex for Sirzechs to free his sister. It is fun to tease him with both sacred gears but hide it simultaneously," Issei said with a sadistic smirk.
"(Ufufufu, I like that idea be fun to torment that fried chicken, especially an arrogant one from what we heard)" Ddraig said with a big grin.
"My thoughts exactly put him in his place," Issei says
As Issei talked in his inner thoughts, he felt someone watching from behind the corner and knew who it was. Yet, again, the new devil was in Rias peerage as he remembered from Momo saying her name was Koneko, and Issei wondered what she hoped to find by watching him. As the time was getting on, Issei was waiting for the bell to go for the next period, which was gym, as he enjoyed what he was doing on the gym today.
"Hey Issei, you finished your lunch. As wondered if you would get ready for gym class," Asked Momo.
"Ah, hey Momo, yeah, just finished and was about to head that way as I know it wouldn't belong. As we got the track, Issei said, what will you be doing for the gym today," Issei said.
"We got volleyball today, which is going to be fun," Momo said
"Well, be careful cause I saw the perverted duo been finding new spots, and I wouldn't want them to drool over you like your, a beautiful woman," says Issei with a hint of blush
"Wow, Issei, thank you for that. That's made me so happy you just have to watch for them for other girls and me, then if you see them punish them," Momo said with a wink
"Will do I prob let the girls from kendo club beat them up again ufufufu," Issei said with a giggle
Timeskip to the weekend
It's the weekend now and the day of hanging out with the fallen angel under the alias of Yuuma, AKA Raynare, but he will play dumb to that knowledge as he needs to find out her plan. Still, he noticed the devil Koneko was also watching again but sitting on a bench munching on an ice pole to make it less suspicious.
"Issei-san!" Shouted Yuuma
"Ah, hey Amano-san, glad you made it," Issei says with a smile
"Hope you didn't wait too long for me, Issei-san," Yuuma said while fiddling with her fingers innocently
"No, I not long got her myself. It's all good. Is there anywhere you like to go first?" Issei asked
"Mmmmm, how about we go look at some clothes together then maybe get something to eat" Yuuma suggested
"Sounds good to me. It is fun to see what tastes you have in clothing as your outfit is cute," Issei said, trying to play innocent but naive.
"T-T-Thank you-u I-Issei-san, you look lovely," Yuuma said while stuttering as shocked by that comment.
As Issei and Yuuma headed into various clothes shops, he saw something that suited her and bought it for her as a gift: a lovely pink n purple hairband that she wore on her wrist. After that, they went to a dinner to eat. She ordered a caesar salad while Issei ordered a teriyaki chicken burger.
"So, what do you do when you are not at school, Yuuma?" Issei asked out of curiosity
"Mmm, I usually just help out the family, but I also like reading mainly," Yuuma replied with a soft look of interest.
"Oh, anything particular?" Issei asked with a look of interest
"Well, anything really, but I love romantic novels, especially Love War manga. It's so funny," Yuuma says while doing a little giggle
"Ah, I have seen that. I enjoyed it as well. I like the manga a lot too, but I don't stick just to one genre. I like looking at different ones," Issei said with a smile
"Oh, what ones have you read?" Yuuma asked, now intrigued
"Mmm, romantic wise, probably Freezing even if that's mixed with action as well, but I also read Initial D for just general," Issei said
"Well, that's interesting. I have not read Freezing yet. Would you recommend it?" Yuuma asked out of curiosity
"Well, if you don't mind fighting part of things, then yeah, it has a good storyline in it," Issei said with a smile
"I will have to pick one up then to give it a read later than," Yuuma said
"Do you like any kind of sports?" Issei asked
"Not really. I do like swimming but only for leisure, not like a competition if that's what you were thinking," Yuuma said while taking a sip of her drink.
"Oh, same here. I tend to help out a lot of clubs in school lately, which I find is fun, but also get to make loads of new friends," Issei said with a big smile.
"Oh, that is cool. That's a kind thing to do," Yuuma said while trying to judge him.
"Would you like any dessert? By the way, Yuuma, if not, we can take a walk somewhere and chat abit more if you like?" Issei asked, knowing Yuuma was trying to judge him
"I would like to take a walk if that's ok. There's a nice park not far from here which is nice," Yuuma suggested deciding she was going to get rid of him.
"Oh yeah, I think I walked in there a few times has a nice water feature there," Issei said, now knowing she's going to show her true colors there.
As Issei paid for the meal, he and Yuuma started to walk to the park while making a small chat but noticed shes not taking any notice anymore. Just as they enter the park, she starts running to the water feature and then turns to Issei to ask him something.
"Ne Issei, I enjoyed today, and I love the gift you bought me, but can I ask you a favor?" Yuuma asked now with her hands behind her back, trying to act cute
"Sure, what's that, Yuuma?" Issei asked while noticing a barrier getting erected
"Well, will you die for me? Yuuma asked
"Mmm, no, I won't," Issei said with a serious look
"Well, too bad then," she said, now showing an evil smirk
Suddenly, Yuuma starts transforming into her older self with everything pretty much showing, and having a biker-looking jacket on top and high heels, she sudden spawns her wings and summons her light spear.
"Sorry, this is the end of you, Issei. If you are going to blame someone blame, god, for putting a sacred gear in you," she said as she threw her light spear at Issei
*Mist Barrier*
Suddenly a mist-covered Issei and made him disappear. Yuuma now panics and tries to leave when she notices a more substantial barrier erect to prevent her from going.
*Lightning Arrow*
As Issei shot his lightning arrow, it hit Yuuma and cut all of her magic power, and then suddenly, Issei sudden appeared in front of her with his fist back and punched her in the gut sending her down to the fall, creating a crater. Yuuma started to crawl out of the cavity and looked in fear when Issei was in front of her with a red sword with green gems on the hilt pointing at her.
"So Yuuma, or should I say fallen angel, it wasn't wise to attack me knowing you are in devil terrority," Issei says.
"H-H-How did you know" Yuuma stuttered with wide eyes and with fear in them.
"Quite easy. I am the third devil king that runs Kuoh under Sirzechs Lucifer himself," Issei said, now putting lightning cuffs on Yuuma.
"S-S-So, what are you going to do with me now?" Yuuma asked, knowing shes probably going to be killed
"Well, first, I am taking you back to mine, and we will discuss this with a couple of people who are dying to see you," Issei said now with a severe look.
Issei then casts a Magic circle to take himself and Yuuma to his house. Then, he will call Azazel and Grayfia to help interrogate Yuuma for information to see why she is here and what her actions will cost her.
*Shin*
As Issei and Yuuma appeared through the magic circle, Issei told her to take a seat while he contacted the other people and, at the same time, made her a drink. Hence, he isn't a total jerk for not doing hospitality as he knows Grayfia would hit him for it.
"Here you go done you a drink the other people becoming in any second so why don't you tell me your real name," Issei said while sipping tea
"My actual name is Raynare, and I am sorry for my actions. I was just following orders," Raynare said with a sorrowful look
*Shin, Shin*
"Well, I guess it's time to explain it to them, Raynare. Hi Azazel and Grayfia, I got some drinks ready for you on the table if you like to join us," Issei said.
"A-A-Azazel, why is he here" Stuttered Raynare.
"Well, that's easy, Raynare trying to find out why you disobeyed my orders," Azazel said sternly.
"Yes, I would like to know why you are in this terrority," Grayfia said, with her eyes glowing with rage.
"W-W-Well, I was following orders from K-K-Kokabiel," Stuttered Raynare.
"Well, now that's interesting as I never gave orders to kill any sacred gear users," Azazel said while showing an angry face.
"Well, Raynare, the question is what other jobs have you been told, and if you got other fallen angels, we would like to know now," Issei said with a severe tone.
"Well, there are three other fallen angels with me, but only 2 are my friends. Another one is actually under Kokabiel himself, and we were ordered to kill you Issei and take a sacred gear out of a nun when she arrived," Raynare said, knowing she's going to die now.
"Well, that's not good now. You better contact your two friends to come here now and try and make sure the other person doesn't attend," Azazel said
"O-Okay, I will text them right away," Raynare says. She is now trebling
"So Azazel should I report this finding to Sirzechs, or should we keep it on to ourselves for the time being," Issei said, knowing Grayfia wouldn't like this call.
"Issei, we know we can't leave Sirzechs out of this!" Shouted Grayfia
"I know Grayfia I on about the whole attack thing, but knowing Kokabiel is up to something we can warn Sirzechs about," Issei said to reassure her.
"Hmph, very well, but we will discuss this further later," Grayfia said with an angry look
"Well, we wait till the other two fallen angels come, and we will go from there, I think, Issei," Azazel said now in business mode
*Shin*
As a magic circle comes through 2 fallen angels. Come out. One is a tall woman with long blue hair with miniskirt high heel boots and a red jacket showing off her boobs, while the other is a smallish girl with blonde hair dressed in a goth lolita dress. Soon as the two girls saw Azazel and Grayfia and me with Raynare in handcuffs made from lightning, they knew there in trouble.
"Well, I never would have guessed it is you two to show up, huh Kalawarna and Mittelt," Azazel says with narrowed eyes.
"Mmm, Lord Azazel, why are you here with these devils, and why is Raynare handcuffed?" both Kalawarna and Mittelt said with worried looks.
"I would answer that for you girls since Raynare tried to kill me under false orders and not only that being on terrority of the devils doing the crime she is going to be judged and with further knowledge of other orders you 2 are now in the same situation so I would advise you to sit in a chair and be civil or would you like to be treated the same way as Raynare is here," Issei said showing off his massive aura.
Both Kalawarna and Mittelt grabbed a chair to sit down and wait to hear what was about to be said and were both sweating bullets feeling pressure from everyone in the room apart from Raynare.
"So here's how it's going to go when this person that's coming which you planned to take her Sacred Gear from you both need to intercept her before she heads to the church and bring her to here in doing so your punishment will be up to Azazel. However, I want to know what will happen to Raynare, so what's your verdict Azazel," Issei said nonchalantly.
"Well, Raynare is dead to this side now. She won't have any help from us in the future. I will leave her punishment up to you or Sirzechs. As for Kalawarna and Mittelt, if they do what you just said, they will be let off with a warning but also have to remain here to help out, but they will need a place to stay so that I will sort that out," Azazel says in his business manor while narrowing his eyes at Raynare.
"Ok, so Raynare, you got a choice now. You either let us deliver your punishment which will lead to death, or would you like a chance to redo your life under the servitude of a devil peerage of our choosing," Issei said, knowing Grayfia wasn't sure about it.
"I don't want to die. I know what I did was stupid and should have double-checked with Azazel. Since I now lost the chance for his forgiveness, I would like to earn it another way and hopefully under your guidance if you would let me, even if it means turning into a devil," Raynare said, lowering her head with tears coming down her face.
"Hm, well, that would be possible, but I will have to discuss it with Grayfia and Sirzechs. In the meantime, you be under house arrest and remain here until we talk. If you disobey the order, you will be killed, no ifs or buts," Issei said severely.
"I understand, and I will disappoint you in your decision," Raynare said with abit of relief, knowing she got another chance to do right.
"Well, since this matter is sorted, I will now head off with Kalawarna and Mittelt and discuss this matter more in detail I will inform you of when this person arrives," Azazel said while bowing.
"No worries, and by the way, Kalawarna, Mittelt, when this is sorted, you are more than welcome to visit, of course, as I know you are good friends with Raynare," Issei replied with honesty.
"Thank you. We will take you up on that after correcting our mistakes," Both girls replied while bowing in respect.
As both girls and Azazel disappeared in their respected magic circle, Issei now turns to Grayfia and discusses the next best thing to do.
*Shin*
"Ok, Raynare, I will release these cuffs of you now, so why don't you take the spare room and have a bath to freshen up while I talk to Grayfia here," Issei said now, seeing if Raynare would do as she told.
"Thank you, mm Lord Issei," Raynare said while bowing her head
"No need for a lord, just Issei will be fine," Issei said while waving it off
"Ok, thank you, Issei. If you excuse me, I will take a bath and check out the spare room," Raynare says while walking to the bathroom.
As Raynare left, Grayfia turned to Issei with narrowed eyes which he knew he was in for a world of pain.
"So Issei, you know I will hurt you if you don't explain what you are planning to do with Raynare," Grayfia said with a no lie or die look.
"Well, I was thinking of getting her to join Rias peerage as I know she is lacking the strength, and having uses of Raynare could be used well," Issei said
"The well true, but the only problem is Akeno won't like it due to her past," Grayfia said with a worried look.
"Well, we will cross that bridge when it comes to it but say it be ordered from Sirzechs, and she can't refuse, and hopefully it works out well when that time comes," Issei said with a grin.
"Well, that's true, and if it boosts the strength of Rias peerage to give her a chance to get out of her marriage, more the merrier," Grayfia says, now seeing the logic behind Issei's thinking.
"Well, yes, there is that, but something is bothering me of what Rias had done before I went on this hangout with Raynare before all this happened," Issei said while showing the flyer to Grayfia.
"How did you get that?" Grayfia asked now with a worried look
"Well, Rias familiar pasted it to me before meeting Raynare, so I guess she thought she would get to revive me if I was killed," Issei said, now thinking on her judgment
"Well, since it failed, she undoubtedly will try and come to you in person now," Grayfia said, hoping Rias won't do anything stupid.
"Yeah, that's what I am thinking as well, so now the ball is in her court, and I hope she is not stupid enough to do something without thinking," Issei said with sadness.
Meanwhile, In the ORC Clubroom
"Argh, why hasn't he called me yet? " Rias growled. I would have guessed that Fallen Angel would have killed him by now," Rias growled.
"Well, maybe he didn't get killed and escaped," Akeno Says while thinking
"Hmm, it is possible as he has got good senses not to be tricked like that," Rias said, now thinking of that possibility
"Maybe we can get Kiba to fetch him when he's at school and try and convince him to join us afterward," Akeno said
"Yes, we should do that, and hopefully, we can find out if he's got a sacred gear or not as well," Rias replied now with determination in her eyes
"Would you like me to send a message to Kiba?" Akeno asked while bowing
"Yes, please do, and I hope Issei did make it nice to have someone strong, maybe as a second knight," Rias says in thinking mode
"As you wish, I will take my leave now so that I will see you tomorrow," Akeno said while disappearing into her magic circle.
"Night, Akeno, and see you in the morning," Rias said before going back to her paperwork.
Back at Issei's house
"Issei, I will be staying tonight, so I will let Sirzechs know about what happened tonight. Why don't you get yourself in the bath, and ill join you in abit," Grayfia said with a smile.
"Ah, sure, say hi to him for me and let him know I expect Rias to make her move on me tomorrow," Issei replied with a smile of his own
"Ok, will do, and what makes you think she will make a move tomorrow? Grayfia asked while tilting her head to the side.
"Just a guess since her pamphlet didn't work so that she would be panicking, no doubt," Issei replied
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. She would be panicking abit then," Grayfia said
"Well, I'm going to have a bath then," Issei said as he got up from the chair and headed to the bathroom.
