tarunsharmakavipurapu - You think so? You're the first to complain about him so far. People even asked me to keep him around for the BRANCHEs.

The Watcher eyes the city of Central City, Peter finally calming down after his session with Mary Jane Watson. "The hardest thing about the life of a hero is, even with great power, you can't always save everyone."

Peter was in Jitters, waiting for Barry to show up. After his crying session with MJ comforting him, he felt a little better. Doesn't take away the fact that a man is dead because of him. When he finally calmed down after the breakdown, MJ didn't even say anything and left. He knew he needed to thank her for that sooner or later.

"Hey." Barry greeted, getting over a similar feeling of guilt from that man's death. "What's happening?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to talk." Peter answered. "I... came from a bad scene recently."

"What happened?" Barry asked.

"I chased some crime, Leonard Snart, which was followed by a man dying," Peter answered with a shrug.

Barry was shocked to hear that as he didn't see his brother there. But he knew he couldn't ask where he was because he couldn't have been there.

"Yeah, I heard about that," Barry said with a sigh. "I know how it feels to lose a life. Not being able to save everyone. But the thing you gotta remember is even with incredible powers, you can't save everyone."

"Yeah, that's something that I've come a custom to recently," Peter muttered, remembering what happened to his uncle. "It still hurts."

"Yeah, the pain never truly goes away," Barry said, eyeing Peter a little distanced.

Peter noticed the stare and knew what he was referring to. "You referring to mom?"

Barry sighed and nodded his head. "Yeah."

"You ever wonder what it would have been like?" Peter asks Barry. "What it would have been like if we were never separated? If dad was never sent to prison? If mom never died?"

"Every day," Barry confesses. "I always wondered what it would be like if we stayed together."

"In another life, I suppose." Peter shrugged.

Just then, both of their phones went off and they turned from one another to answer them.

"What's up?" Peter asked Bobby.

"Hey." Barry greeted his friends.

"Just got an alert from your scanner," Bobby informed Peter. "Leonard Snart is heading for the train station."

"We found a way to track Snart's cold gun. Seems he got what he came for and is heading out of the city. He's at the train station." Wells informed Barry.

"Got it," Barry said as he hung up, turning to Peter. "Hey, Pete, I gotta-" that's then when he noticed that Peter was already long gone. "So that's what that feels like."

Peter raced off to the train station and saw Snart walking around the station, hitching a ride on the train. Shooting at the train, he slingshot over and landed on the roof. As Barry came speeding down the track, Peter swung around and smashed a window open to make it inside.

Barry was already there and Snart was holding the gun to face him. But when he heard the glass shatter, he looked at Peter, the gun still pointing at Barry.

"Nowhere to run now, Snow Miser's twin brother!" Peter quips at him.

"I didn't see you before," Snart says as he looks at Peter. "Your Mom know you're out past your bedtime?"

Peter's eyes squinted at that remark. He was actually the first villain he's fought that's commented on his age. Even Connors/Lizard didn't bring that up.

"If you wanted to get away, you should've taken something faster than a train," Barry tells Snart and Peter thinks he has another idea in mind.

"That's if I wanted to get away. I've seen both of your weaknesses. At the armored car, then the theater." Snart commented, getting them to look confused. "See, while you're busy saving everyone, I'll be saving myself."

Snart then lowered the gun and Peter tried webbing the gun. But that did nothing when the gun fires and freezes the wheels, causing the train to derail.

"Good luck with that!" Snart says and jumps out of the car.

Barry doesn't waste any time and uses his speed to get everyone out before the car has the time to crash. After everyone was safe, he goes back to Peter last and gets out of the car before it crashed.

Peter got up to see he was in the middle of the battle, wondering where Barry was. Back with Barry, he tripped from moving so fast. He starts getting up when a blast of ice comes down and traps him.

"You're pretty fast, kid, but not fast enough," Snart says to Barry. "Thank you."

"For what?" Barry asks.

"You forced me to up my game, not only with this gun but with how I think about the job," Snart says when something comes up behind him.

Then two strands of webbing got his attention, trying to yank the gun out of his hands was a woman dressed in a similar suit to Peter's.

"Hey, is this fight invitation only or can I intervene here?" Jessica Drew asks the two of them.

"Who the hell are you?" Snart asks her.

"What? The suit doesn't give it away?" Jessica asked as she gestured to the spider. "Spider." She then gestured to her face. "Girl."

Peter then leaned over the train and saw the girl. "Who are you?"

"Ugh!" Jessica cried in annoyance. "Didn't I just answer this?"

"Did you two forget I currently have this gun facing your friend here?" Snart asks, reminding them Barry was still stuck in the ice.

"Yeah, I kinda feel forgotten down here." Barry agreed with Snart.

Just then, three figures approached them, using their talk as a way to sneak up on them.

"Drop it!" Cisco shouts and he, Caitlin, and Felicity are holding a device. It was glowing blue and whirring, looking similar to the cold gun Snart has.

"Cisco?" Peter whispered in shock. Then he looked and noticed Caitlin and Felicity. "What..?"

"This is a prototype cold gun, four times the size, four times the power," Cisco states as he holds the gun to Snart's head.

"I was wondering who you were talking to besides the arachnid over there," Snart states to Barry and gestures to Peter.

"You know, you're the first person to say that right so far," Peter replies to Snart. "People always call me an insect."

"Yeah, but spiders are arachnids," Jessica stated.

"Thank you!" Peter cried. "And who are you again?"

"Tell you later." Jessica said.

"Unless you want a taste of your own medicine, I'd back the hell up," Cisco commands Snart, but then noticed Jessica. "Who's she?"

"For the love of God..." Jessica muttered in annoyance, nobody getting the hint.

"Your hands are shaking. You've never killed anyone." Snart tells Cisco, seeing he doesn't have it in him.

"There's a first time for everything, Captain Cold," Cisco replies to him, warming the gun up. "I will shoot you."

Snart sees he is willing to do it and decided to give in. "You win." He says and starts walking off. "See you heroes around."

"Hey, leave the diamond," Cisco tells him and he keeps walking.

"Don't push your luck," Snart warns him as he leaves.

Once he was far enough away, they put down the giant gun and sighed.

"I couldn't shoot him even if I wanted to. This is the STAR Labs vacuum cleaner." Cisco says and chuckles. "With a lot of LEDs."

Peter then looked over and saw that the newly proclaimed Spider-Girl was already gone. "Huh. Okay."

"Let's get you warm, Barry," Felicity said, helping Barry get out of the ice.

"Barry?" Peter asked in shock, turning to face them.

Felicity realized that was her mistake and winced. "Oops."

Peter then lifted and removed his mask, revealing himself to the entire crew. Once they saw his face, all of them were shocked when they saw that Spider-Man was non-other than Peter Parker.

Meanwhile, a small distance away, Jessica Drew looked down at the two and feels like she knows them. "Huh."

Going back to STAR Labs, and Peter calling his lawyer (in this case being Bobby), they first went looking for Snart. But it seems that the same way they tracked him the first time isn't working. Felicity also said her farewell as she needed to get back to Starling for her friends. Joe also came in and was shocked to see Spider-Man was nonother than Barry's brother.

"He must've found a way to block the signal somehow," Cisco said in an apologetic tone.

"We'll find him, Cisco," Barry said before looking at Peter and Bobby. "Now I think someone owes us a small explanation."

"What's the suit made out of?" Peter asks, eyeing the stand where Barry's suit was. "I mean, if it was made of common material, it'd burn up when you met Mack 1."

"It's actually-" Cisco was going into explaining when Barry stopped him.

"Cisco." Barry stopped him and eyed his brother. "Well?"

Peter sighed and clapped his hands, seeing he needed to explain everything. "Alright, I'll start from the beginning. About a week after the accelerator explosion, I went on a field trip and was bitten by a radioactive spider. And for the past year, I've been the one and only Spider-Man."

"Are you married to that or can we brainstorm?" Cisco asked him.

"You're not changing my name." Peter declared as he eyed him. "I've been protecting the city from criminals and most recently super-powered criminals."

"On your own?" Wells asked him in amazement.

"Not really," Peter admitted as he looked at Bobby. "I've had help."

"And Spider-Girl?" Caitlin asks him.

"Never met her before," Peter confessed.

"Okay, what are you trying to do?" Barry asks Peter, referring to the whole thing. "Why are you going out there risking your life with this?"

"Because..." Peter didn't want to get into his uncle's death right now. "I have these powers, and I feel they're my responsibility." He then sighed and looked down and remembered his uncle's words. Now he finally started to understand exactly what they mean. "When you can do things like I can, but stood by and did nothing, then when something a happens, it's because of you."

Wells had a look of shock on his face as he wheeled over. "A sense of responsibility. I admire that."

"Peter, you could get killed," Barry informed him.

"Pot calling kettle black, isn't it?" Bobby asked him. "I mean, you do the same thing and can be killed."

"He's got a point," Joe stated, remembering when he had this talk with Barry.

"I'm Spider-Man. It's something I created. Something that belongs to me. Something that I feel is my destiny." Peter declared, looking to Barry. "Don't try and stop me."

Barry looked and saw them all looking at him and sighed. "I won't try and stop you, I see the hypocrisy in it." He then sighed and saw the time. "It's late. What do you say we continue this tomorrow?"

"We can talk, but it won't change anything," Peter warned him as they walked off.

"Yeah, yeah." Barry sighed, seeing his brother picked up his determination. "Good night."

"So...your friend is Spider-Man," Caitlin said as she eyed Bobby.

"Your friend is the...does he have a name?" Bobby was gonna say but realized Barry doesn't have a name. "Point being, we all have secrets. It wasn't my secret to tell."

"Fair enough." Caitlin supposed and let's him head home.

They then walked out of the labs, thinking of the Spider-Girl they met briefly. Not to mention if Goblin gave Snart a cold gun to the criminal, there is no telling what else he was going to do.

"So what do you say about our plan?" Bobby asked, referring to their earlier plan.

"I say we put it into effect tomorrow," Peter said, knowing the perfect timing for their plan to work. "But I'm gonna look into this Spider-Girl for a while. Something was...familiar about her."

Bobby and he then got into the elevator. "Not to mention the Goblin is now giving weapons to other criminals."

"Yeah. Problems are piling up." Peter sighed as the doors closed.

"How's MJ doing?" Bobby asked.

"She's...I'm not quite sure anymore," Peter admitted, remembering how comforting she was. "I need to ask her something tomorrow."

"Ooh, a third date?" Bobby mocked.

"Shut up," Peter said as he pushed his friend. "It's not like it's gonna lead to anything right now."

The Watcher smiled as he stood in between the two of them. "Oh, you don't know it yet, Peter Parker, but she will."

Thawne was back in the Time Vault and was wondering how much has been changed. In the past or technically future, he knew Peter was a powerless nobody. But now there is a chance that things have changed due to his becoming Spider-Man.

"Gideon, show me the future," Thawne asked his computer.

"Sometimes, the strangest of things become our destiny. One moment. One choice. One second. All of these can define us." The Watcher commented as he watched him.

"You are quite the anomaly, Peter Parker." Thawne commented. "What will you do to upset my plans?"
