While Peter was meeting the newly formed team known as the Sinister Six, Barry was still at the prescient looking out his window and saw him. The Man in Yellow, the man that was there that night and killed their mother.

He stole a tachyon device from Mercury Labs just earlier today and now he's here. Just across the street. The two stared at each other for some time, Barry not knowing what to think or do at this moment.

The man in yellow as he speeds off as Barry then speeds off after him. The two of them tore through the streets of New York before they came to a stop in an alleyway and Barry watched as he vibrated his face and his eyes glowed red.

"It was you. You were the one in my house that night." Barry stated to him, watching as he nodded in confirmation.

"You killed my mother!" Barry shouts as loud as he could. "Why?!"

"If you want to know that you're gonna have to catch me." The man in yellow tells Barry and speeds off with Barry on his tail.

They run through the streets with their lightning being the only thing anyone can see. The man in yellow is just slightly faster than Barry as he runs as fast as he possibly can to catch the man who killed his mother.

"One brother opening up old wounds against his past, while the other brother..." The Watcher said as he looked back to Peter getting grabbed and flung through the air by Otto. He winced as he felt like he felt the pain he was feeling. "Was dealing with his own problems."

"Pull!" Herman called to the doctor, who flung the hero at him.

This gave him the chance to charge his gauntlets and shoot Peter into the air and smash into the side of some building. Falling before landing on the top of a car, smashing it on impact.

Groaning in pain, Peter sensed something and watched as Electro flew over and blasted a bolt of electricity at him. He got up and jumped out of the way before the blast could hit him.

"Teamwork is amazing, isn't it?" Electro asked as Peter landed on the side of a building. "It helps ya reach those unattainable goals. Like killing Spider-Man!"

Mark came charging at Peter, blasting a giant wave of fire at him. Peter charged down the street as Mark caused the streets to burn and some places to melt while several cars explode due to the heat. Peter then shot out a web on the nearest building and ran up the side, the trail of fire following after him.

Peter leaped and leaped backward, doing a backflip in the process. "Wow, that was actually almost heartwarming, Electro!" He then shot out a piece of rubble from the ground, using a light post to swing around. "You really grew in prison!"

Peter then ended up using the debris as a weapon against Molten Man and smacked it into him, causing him to go flying into the wall. Literally, he was scorched into it. Peter then let's go of the pole and was immediately grabbed by Vulture as he came swooping in.

"Vulture?! Really?!" Peter asked in annoyance.

"We're going to have so much-" Adrian was saying when Peter shot a web in his face.

"No time for this," Peter said as he spun and grabbed onto his pack. "I gotta land this bird!"

But when he punched at his pack, his hand was crushed and caused Peter to groan. Shaking his hand and looking down his hand he rubbed his knuckles.

"Fool!" Adrian said as he ripped the webbing off his head. "My pack has been reinforced by titanium!"

Peter was trying to process what he was being told, but then was punched by Sandman off his back and then into the hands of Otto again. "In fact, the same tricks that you've tried on us won't work a second time!"

Molten Man then shoots Peter and causes him to cry in pain when a blast of ice shot him back. "Hey! Hands off the Spider!" They all look and saw it came from Bobby who came in and blasted Otto at the same time. Peter spun and landed on his legs to look at Bobby. "Looks like I made it just in the nick of time."

Peter bobbed his head around and shrugged. "A few minutes ago, could've been better."

"What are you gonna do?" Bobby shrugged and looked at the six of them. "I mean that literally. What are we gonna do?"

"We can't take these guys right now," Peter said as he looked down at the manhole. "We gotta get out of here."

Smacking the manhole into the air before throwing it at the six enemies. Leaping into the sewers, Bobby looked down and up at the enemies. It's like he was trying to decide which one was better or worse.

"Well, this will come out in one wash." Bobby guessed as he leaped into the sewers, covering their path with ice.

The Man in Yellow comes to a stop at a football stadium when it comes to life and the lights flicker with lightning running around the screens. The man in yellow comes back and Barry just looks at him in anger for a quick second before shooting himself off at him. The man in yellow also speeds at him and sends him across the court.

"Not fast enough, Flash." The man in yellow mocks him and they keep running trying to beat the hell out of each other. But the man in yellow is still faster as he beats Barry and sends him tumbling.

"Who are you?" Barry asks him.

"You know who I am, Barry." The man in yellow tells him and Barry is surprised he knows his identity as he speeds around him in circles starting to beat him and Barry falls.

"I don't know who you are!" Barry states to the murderer of his mother. "But you do, Barry. We've been at this a long time, you and I, but I'm always one step ahead." The man in yellow replies to Barry as he tries one more time to punch him, but as he said, he is faster.

"It is your destiny to lose to me, Flash, just as it was your mother's destiny to die that night." The man in yellow tells Barry and speeds off.

Barry tried the best he could to stand up, but the beating he just took was too much for him. It got even worse when the adrenaline wore off, he feels everything that has been broken and collapsed.

Caitlin has just got back from shopping and a run-in with the burning man that's been sighted recently, she even saw his face, and immediately recognized that it was Ronnie. Her dead fiancé was alive and a metahuman.

How was this her life now?

"Hey, Caitlin," Cisco says as he sees her against the treadmill.

"I think I can fashion an electronic barrier, right? We set up a ton of supercapacitors, we smooth out the inflection points, and viola. A kickass forcefield to trap the Opposite Flash." He says to her, and she looks up at the dumb-sounding name. "That was me testing out the name. What do you think?"

Then he took a look and noticed how down Caitlin looked. She sighed and looked back down at the ring.

"Are you okay?" Cisco asked her.

She takes a minute and explains what's wrong.

"Ronnie's alive. I saw him, Cisco." Caitlin tries to explain, but Cisco thinks she's still hung up on him. "I think he was following me-"

"Caitlin, Ronnie died. There was no way he could've survived being vaporized when the accelerator exploded." Cisco tries explaining, not seeing why she would be seeing him now and not sooner.

"Ronnie's alive. And he's out there alone and scared, and I'm gonna need your help to find him." Caitlin pleads with her friend and Cisco knows she's not gonna take no for an answer.

Besides, if there's a small chance that their friend is alive, they're going to find him. "Should we get the others?"

"Not yet," Caitlin said, not knowing how Barry would feel about her looking for her dead fiancé. She didn't want him to get the wrong idea, she just needs to see if it was truly him. "We'll tell them if we find out if it is him."

Once Barry got to STAR Labs, he informed Joe and Wells of the fight. Peter and Bobby were also on their way, the entire team seems oblivious to the battle that went down as Barry wasn't at CCPD when they go the call, and the others weren't around their screens at the time.

"He acted as if he knew me like we'd done this before," Barry explains to them.

"He was antagonizing you, Bare," Joe states to Barry.

"I would get close, and he'd just pull away," Barry states, hating the fact he's not fast enough to stop the criminal. "I mean, this was just some sick game to him."

"You'll catch him, we'll help," Wells assures Barry calmly.

"No, you don't get it, all right? His speed, it's... it's beyond me. I'm not the fastest man alive, he is." Barry states, angry at his recent failure to defeat him. "So how do we catch somebody that even I can't keep up with?"

"The beautiful thing about force fields, Mr. Allen, is they're impervious to speed. Now, we're almost finished fabricating the trap, and all that remains is for detective west to procure the bait." Wells explains and looks toward Joe.

"I'm on it," Joe tells Wells and looks at the doorway just when Peter and Bobby come in, him being carried by the Iceman. "What the hell happened?"

"Oh god, Peter!" Barry suddenly became worried as he ran over to Peter and saw the injuries, as well as scorch marks on his suit. "What happened?"

"I've had my first supervillain team up," Peter said, removing his mask and showing the cuts and bruises on his face. "Six of them in fact."

"Six?" Barry asked, looking him over. "God."

"What'd we miss?" Bobby wonders, looking around to see Caitlin and Cisco are missing.

"Mr. Allen here had an encounter with the Man in Yellow." Wells caught them up.

Peter became interested in this and looked to Barry, remembering his mention of what happened. "The Man in Yellow? As in the same man who killed mom?"

"Yeah," Barry confirmed, seeing all the bruises. "This can't just be a coincidence. You getting attacked the same day I'm attacked."

"There were reports of a flying object around the prison earlier," Joe informed them, just remembering that. "That means anything to you?"

Peter took a minute to think about all his recent enemies and sighed, knowing exactly who was behind this. Groaning in annoyance, he looked at his friends and family.

"The Green Goblin," Peter answered the question.

"Aw, not that guy again." Bobby groaned in annoyance.

Even though he's never had a personal connection to the Green Menace, he remembers all the times he's attacked his best friend. The school dance, the walk in the park, this guy has been a nuisance to the city for months.

"He must've broken the Sinister Foes of Spider-Man as some form of distraction." Peter took a guess, getting odd looks from the others. "What?"

"Sinister Foes of Spider-Man?" Barry repeated what he had named them.

"Got a better name for them?" Peter asked him.

"Sinister Six?" Bobby offered.

"That's just stupid." Peter scoffed.

"Look, I need to get to the prescient to find a way to set up the trap for the Man in Yellow," Barry informed his brother. "Don't engage these guys again without backup."

"No arguments here," Peter assured him and walked over to lay down to recover.

Barry sighed and walked off to get the tachyon device. A lot of things are piling up and are causing his family to suffer.

Out with the enemies, they escaped the police without a sitch and made their way through the city. Meeting up at a local restaurant that was closed at the time, they were sitting around eating.

"To the defeat of Spider-Man," Adrian said as he raised a glass.

"Defeat?" Herman asks. "Seems to me the job ain't done yet."

"It ain't our fault that Frozone knockoff came in and saved that freak," Max stated and looked at Mark. "It's our own element's fault."

"He hit me by surprise." Mark scoffed, wishing he could eat something. But his flames were making it impossible to even drink water without evaporating it. "You act like I want to stay this way. I want to get a cure, and the only way I get it is through that Web Brain's death."

"Gentlemen, remember who the enemy is." Otto reminded all of them, using a napkin to clean his mouth. "I know we're frustrated, but the arachnid will be crushed."

"How?" Max asks, frying his steak with his powers. "They undercooked it."

"We simply engineer a situation that forces Spider-Man to play the hero," Otto explains to them. "He'll come. He can't help himself." Then he looked over to the waiters. "Check please."

The waiter was freaked out and didn't want to come any closer than needed. "It's...on the house, sir?"

"How kind of you," Otto said with a smile. "And wise."

Around the city, Cisco and Caitlin are searching for Ronnie to try and help him. Cisco worked up a device to track the heat emitting from Ronnie they could follow to find him. He might've made that a little too quickly, but he's done more in less time. Following the device, they found themselves in the basement of the mall that was attacked by their gas meta.

"We follow the ionized particles, and that should lead us right to him," Cisco tells her as they walk through the basement. "The CPMs are increasing."

"We should've told Dr. Wells and Barry, maybe rope in everyone else." Cisco states as they walk into a clearing.

"No, not until we're sure it's him," Caitlin tells him as they go into a tight-spaced hallway.

"Look, Cisco, Ronnie is not like you remembered him." Caitlin tries easing her friend into what they're in for.

"What does that mean?" Cisco asks her.

"Just don't freak out when you see him, okay?" Caitlin asks him when the device turns off on them.

"Please tell me this means the batteries are dead," Cisco begs when they see someone else is down here with them.

Walking towards the mysterious figure in the halls, they found what looked like a homeless Ronnie come into view. He had dirty clothes looking nothing like the ones that he had the night of the explosion, and his hair had grown out over the past year.

"Ronnie, it's me, Cait," Caitlin says walking toward him. But all she got was a look of confusion. "Look, I brought Cisco with me. We're here to help you." He still didn't look convinced. "You were in an accident, do you remember?"

"I'm...not Ronnie." He tells them.

"Yes, you are. You're Ronnie Raymond." Caitlin tries to get through to him.

"I'm not Ronnie. I told you that. Now get away from me." He pleads with them while shaking uncontrollably.

"Look, we need to get you back to S.T.A.R. Labs," Caitlin replies, hoping to help him. Reaching out she took his shaking hand. "We'll help you remember."

That's when he grabs her hand and whispers one word. "Firestorm." Then right after he said that his hands and head burst into flames, and he vanishes down the hallway.

Later on, Peter and Bobby needed to get out of STAR Labs due to the fact that the police were gonna be around. The two of them snuck out and made their way out to find the Sinister Six.

Bobby was right. That name was way better.

"So, what do you plan to do when we find these guys?" Bobby asks his friend.

"Separate them, try to take them down alone," Peter informed him of the plan.

"Okay, I can see that working for Electro, Ock, but what about Sandman and Mark?" Bobby reminded his friend of his two worst foes. "Sandman can control sand, and Mark is...untouchable."

"I've been thinking about that," Peter admitted, knowing there's something he could do. "I've had a word with Cisco. He thinks he can cancel out the nanotechnology inside of him."

"You're saying there's a chance to cure him?" Bobby was shocked to hear. "To get rid of...Molten Man?"

"It's a possibility," Peter said as his phone went off. "The only downside is I gotta get him into the Pipeline."

"You need to what?" Bobby asked his friend.

Pulling it out, he saw it was a notification from his police scanner. "The escapees have taken hostages downtown."

"I gotta go check that out," Peter commented.

"Need my help?" Bobby wonders.

"No, I might be able to do this on my own." Peter was sorry to say his friend wouldn't be much help. During their time apart, they would have had the time to come up with a plan to fight without his friend. "Besides, they'll be expecting you this time around."

"That's fair." Bobby supposed.

"And if I need you, I know you'll be close behind," Peter said as he then ran down the alleyway, quickly changing into his suit.

Later on, back at STSR Labs, they're waiting for the Man in Yellow to come for the tachyon with Eddie and his TASK force around. This was due to an argument and Eddie wanting to be the one to take in the "Flash."

"Sending out another pulse," Cisco tells them as they just wait for something.

"Are you certain this trap will work?" Eddie asks them.

"I've sent up at least three charges into our satellite. If anyone's looking for tachyonic particles, they'll know we've got them." Cisco explains as they wait for something to happen.

They weren't expecting anything when a flash of lightning enters the room. The moment he came close to the tachyon, he was immediately trapped within the force field. They watch as the Man in Yellow is beating against the walls, trying to find a way to escape the cell he was in.

"Let's see what we caught." Wells states and they all head to the basement.

Once the TASK force, Eddie, and Joe make it to the room they see the monster standing there with his face vibrating and his eyes glowing red. Exactly like he was with Barry when they fought.

"Cisco? Lights." Wells asks and the lights come on and they see him in the light. "Detective Thawne, would you like to read him his rights?"

Joe then started to approach the forcefield. He was hoping to get a confession out of the man for what he did. Maybe there was a chance to get Henry out of jail.

"Joe, what are you doing?" Eddie asks him.

"Getting some answers." Joe answers as the TASK force all aim at the forcefield. "14 years ago, you murdered Nora Allen. I wanna know why."

"Dr. Wells, we meet at last." The man in yellow tells Wells and ignored Joe.

"What do you want with the tachyonic particles?" Wells asks him.

"My goals are beyond your understanding." The man in yellow says to him.

"Oh, I don't know, I'm a pretty smart guy. I knew you were exceptional fast, so any trap we manufactured would have to be invisible. I knew your cells could repair themselves at extraordinary speeds, so you could withstand the dagame this is doing to your body right now." Wells starts listing when the lights start flickering. "The reason I know all this is because your powers are almost exactly like those of the Flash."

"Oh, I'm not like the Flash at all." The man in yellow replies. "Some would say I'm the reverse."

Peter swung to the location where the radio said the Sinister Six were currently attacking. When he made it to the location, he was looking around to try and find out where they were.

Closing his eyes, he was listening to his senses to try and find a way to locate them. When there was a giant explosion near an ice rink, he took a gets that's where they were.

"Spider-Man, come out to play!" Max called out to the hero as Peter swung over and watched him blast the area. "Come on out, you wall-crawling-"

"Now, now." Peter stopped him as he swings over, shooting a web-net over the villain. "Keep it down. There are children present."

"There you are!" Max was happy to see him and sent a blast out. He tore through the net but missed as Peter jumped out of the way and swung around. "Was wondering when you'd come out!"

"Well, you certainly went out of your way to get an audience with me," Peter commented when the Vulture swooped in.

Getting kicked in the face, Peter was forced to let go of the web and fall. "Yo, Adrian! It's me! Spider-Man!"

"What are you blabbering about?" Adrian asks, not following.

Peter sighed as he spun around a pole and landed on the ground. "Nobody ever gets my jokes."

"Spider-Man!" Max cried as he charged up a blast of electricity. "I must break you!"

Max then sent the energy flying as Peter dodged it by flipping in the air. "You got it! You got my joke!" He cheered as he shot a web at Vulture. "I'm so happy I could almost stop fighting. Almost."

But as Peter was busy swinging and cheering, Vulture took advantage of the situation and cuts his web. Peter quickly caught himself and shot several ricochet webbing at him.

The Vulture tried to dodge them all, but one of them managed to latch onto his wings. "What?!"

"That's right!" Peter cheered as he latched the web onto a building, watching as Adrian spun through the air. "Keep hanging in there!" He then pulled Vulture and slammed him into the Christmas tree in the middle of the park. "You know...for an evil old snob, you make a lovely ornament."

Adrian started to try and free himself when Electro flew over and charged up. "Hold on, Vulch. I've got him!"

"No! Don't!" Adrian tried to stop him, but it was too late as Electro sent a blast of electricity out. "Just-"

Then there was a blast of electricity throughout the whole tree as Adrian cried in pain. The tree caught fire as Peter looked down at the destruction in shock and gasped.

"You burned the Christmas tree? A Christmas tree?!" Peter asked in anger. "Now I'm gonna enjoy what I'm about to do!"

Peter then swung in and took a shot at Electro, earning him to chase the hero down the street. Peter swung and started to look for a way to take him down without hurting anyone.

"Okay, water isn't gonna work a second time," Peter muttered when he noticed a trashed car yard. "Ooh. I have an idea."

Peter jumped off the wall and allowed Electro to chase him and land in the yard. "Come on, Spider-Man. You too scared to fight me?"

Peter then tossed a tire at him, causing Max to turn and locate where he was. "Could you blame me?" He tossed several more tires at him. "You're a walking bug zapper. I'm an arachnid."

"Don't worry, the last thing you'll see is a bright light!" Max promised as he shot a blast at Peter.

Peter just ran up the pile of tires, tossing a few of them down to Max. He was making it look like he was slipping to not cause suspicion from Electro.

Peter then reached the top of the pile and stuck to the wall. His plan worked as he noticed Max blasting the tires that for too close, he went for the finisher. Tossing several tires at him at once, Max kept on shooting them down.

"That the best you've got, freak?" Max asks him.

"No, but this is," Peter said as he pointed at his feet.

"Huh?" Max asked as he looked down and noticed that his feet were stuck to the rubber from the tires. "What?!"

Peter then threw a bunch of tires on top of him and encased him in rubber as it melted onto his skin. Luckily his head was left out so he could breathe, but he wasn't going anywhere.

"Your coating looks amazing on you." Peter complimented him. "Now you stick around, I need to find your buddies."

His senses then went off when he looked and saw a blast of energy that sent him flying into the street. Groaning, Peter looked and saw it was Molten Man and Shocker.

"Now don't tell me you've forgotten about us, have you, bug?" Herman asked him.

"Let's end this!" Mark cried as he shot a blast of lava at Peter.

Peter quickly jumped out of the way and landed on the board. "Marky, Mark, Marksman. Can't we talk this out?"

"I'm done talking!" Mark swore as he created a lava ball and tossed it at Peter.

"Noted," Peter commented as he leaped and got ready to shoot a web.

But when he shot the web, before it could hit the wall so he could escape, Peter was hit by the Shocker. He was then sent flying through the air. He was thrown over the whole city and ends up landing near the pear, just near the boats and shops.

"Guys," Peter called as Molten Man was nearby already and Shocker blasted his way over. "Feliz Navidad, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, solstice, can't we put our differences for one night?"

"Nope!" Both of them proclaim as they sent blasts out at him.

Peter jumped to dodge the lava and spun to miss the blast from Shocker. But he ended up being hit and thrown into the business window nearby.

"Let's get this done and squash the bug." Herman proclaimed, ready to revel in the glory of defeating Spider-Man.

"Squash the bug, squash the bug." Peter mimicked Herman, as well as the accent. "Can someone change the channel? It's just on constant repeat."

Then he took a look at where he was and got an idea of what to do. Shooting a web out to the room, he leaped out of the hole he created. Spinning around, he tossed an air canister towards Mark and it embedded into his side.

"An air tank?" Mark asked in annoyance. "You thought that could stop me?"

Peter flew and landed on the docks and crossed his arms. "It wasn't for you."

Then the gas tank exploded, flying off and smacking into Shocker before sending him flying. Herman cried in pain and terror, but luckily the suit took most of the damage, so he'd live.

It'll hurt in the morning, but he'll live.

Mark then jumped onto the docks, shooting fire at him to go for the death strike. Peter leaped out of the way and looked to see that the docks were burning due to his heat.

Looking over to where Mark was standing, he noticed that the wood underneath him was rotting. Peter wants to help Mark but needed to cool him down long enough to get him into the Pipeline.

"And then there was one," Mark said as he shot a blast of heat at him.

"Mark, listen to me. I can help you!" Peter tried to reason with him, leaping around to keep him in place. "Just stop trying to fight me."

"I don't need help! I just need your head on a pike!" Mark cried as he blasted more lava at Peter.

Peter then swung in a circle, going around Mark to cause him to leak fire. The fire finally made its way through the wood and caused Peter to smile.

"Sorry, Buddy." Peter was sorry to say when Mark fell into the ice that causes his fire to die out. The water started to melt and boil, but not enough to finish it off yet.

"Now...is there anyone I left out?" Peter wonders, doing a quick headcount. "Herman, Mark, Adrian, Max-"

While he was counting, he missed the tentacles coming in and smacking him back into the city. Otto quickly met back up with him and had one gigantic smile when he saw how worn out the hero was. He grabbed him by the head and rose him up to meet him face to face.

"I knew you'd wear yourself out trying to fight off my allies," Otto commented as Peter tries to free himself from the tentacle. "Leaving yourself vulnerable to me to finish the job." Then he rose one of his arms and revealed a meal spear of sort inside. "Now...any last words?"

"Yeah. Ahh." Peter informed the octopus.

"Ahh?" Otto repeated.

"Yeah, just mimicking how you will sound in a moment," Peter said as he kicked the doc, sending him flying into the wall.

"Ahh!" Otto cried from the pain.

"See?" Peter asked as he jumped over to the electrical box. "How about this? One more hit? On the house!"

Otto groaned as he got up and sent a tentacle flying towards Peter. But working fast, he jumped and allowed the tentacle to come past and embed into the electrical box. This caused Otto to cry out in pain and fall unconscious.

Peter sighed and knew there was one person left and swung off to find the Sandman.

While that was going on, back at STAR Labs, Cisco and Caitlin got outside just to see Barry and the other man speeding upward into the air. They were spinning around and reaching the roof before turning to fall downward. On the way down, the man in yellow found his footing and he rams Barry into a car.

He finally has the chance to prove his father's innocence and get vengeance for her death. But even with his newfound speed, he's still not fast enough.

The Man in Yellow turns and notices Cisco and Caitlin before speeding off at them. Barry gets up and starts fighting the man who murdered his mother. He wasn't going to let Cisco or Caitlin die like his mother, now that he has the power to stop it.

Barry runs over and tackled him before the Man in Yellow grabs him and slams Barry to the ground. While he gets up, the Man in Yellow holds him in a chokehold and throws him to the ground a second time.

The Man in Yellow goes in and sends several punches into Barry and gets ready to finish the job. Barry felt his cowl ripped from his head by the man as he heard Caitlin call out his name.

Barry was beaten and couldn't keep fighting as the Man in Yellow goes in for the final kill. But before he could accomplish it, a blast of fire comes in and they look to see Ronnie standing there.

"Our race is not yet done. See you soon, Flash." The Man in Yellow says and speeds off into the night.

Cisco runs over towards Barry as did Caitlin. She kneeled and the two tried to help him up as the three looked over towards Ronnie.

"Don't look for me again." He warns them before he uses his fire to fly off into the sky.

"Was that..." Barry tried to talk but was too exhausted to think.

"Ronnie. Yeah." Cisco was sorry to say.

Not because of what that might mean for him and Caitlin, he was still in the dark about that. But more he was sorry that he was out there in the world with no idea who he is and sorry for his friend that her fiancé is back and has left her.

Peter was still looking around the city for the Sandman, wondering where he could have gone. He was also wondering why he didn't even try and fight with his friends against him. It was like he was absent from the entire fight on purpose.

When Peter found his way to a construction site, he was starting to hear what sounded like sand rustling around. He looked and spun around to spot Flint standing there as his body formed. Peter got ready for a fight as he watched the Sandman form and wasn't even paying him any attention.

"I didn't want this," Flint commented, getting a confused look out of Peter. "Ben Parker. I wasn't as unconscious as you would have hoped, kid."

Peter then realized that he heard his whole statement, including Ben being his uncle. "Oh, god."

"I just wanted to say...I'm sorry." Flint said as he turned to face Peter. "And I want you to understand something."

"What's that?" Peter asks, removing his mask as it wasn't needed.

"My daughter was dying," Flint tells him, earning a shock from Peter. "I needed money. I was scared."

THE DAY OF BEN'S DEATH:

The night that it happened, Flint made his way over to Ben Parker in the car, constipating what he was going to do about Peter. He wanted to apologize and have a chance to explain about never telling him he was adopted.

But as he was wondering what to say, there was a knock on the window, and he was it was Flint using his gun to knock. Ben was shocked by this as Flint opened the door and helped Ben out.

"I told your uncle all I wanted was the car..."

"Can you step out for a moment, sir?" Flint asked politely.

"What's happening?" Ben asks, unsure what's happening.

"I just need your car," Flint explains to him as they stood in the middle of the road.

"Then he said to me...why don't you put down the gun and go home?"

Ben then placed a hand on Flint's shoulder to try and calm him down.

"I realize now he was just trying to help me."

But then around that time, the particle accelerator blew, causing Flint to flinch and shoot. He looked shocked at the shot and watched as Ben fell to the ground when Flint caught him. He helped the man down to the ground to make him comfortable, then that's when he heard the sirens and needed to take off.

Peter listened to the whole story and sincerely didn't know what to think. He was standing face to face with the man who took his uncle's life. Yet he's being told that it was an accident, caused by the particle accelerator explosion.

He didn't know what to think anymore. He spent the last year hating this man, wanting to take him down. Yet now all he saw was a man that was left with an unfortunate circumstance.

"I did a terrible thing to you." Flint broke Peter out of his thoughts. "And I spent a lot of nights wishing I could take it back. I hope one day you could forgive me, but for now, I want you to understand."

Peter nodded, tears swelling in his eyes as a few got loose and fell down his face. "I forgive you."

Flint nodded as he walked over and held his hands out. "Go ahead. I didn't choose to be this way, but I took a life. Do what you need to do."

Peter thought about it and knew he couldn't throw him back in prison. Not yet anyway. "I might be able to do something to help you. Just...might take a while."

"Do what you think is necessary," Flint assured him he was okay with anything.

The Watcher looked at the two interacting and smiled. "A true hero's power lies in his heart. And Peter Parker always has the heart of a hero. He might lose it here and there, but as long as he stays true to himself, he will always work his way back."

Bobby and Peter brought their respected elemental-powered super criminals into STAR Labs, where they were told what went down. The two of them led Mark and Flint into the pipeline where they placed them inside of the pipeline.

Mark was okay even after falling in the water due to his heat. He was placed inside of the cell with new clothes when the doors closed, and the heat he radiated died down.

When it was his turn, Flint allowed the doors to close and stood there with a mutual look on his face.

"These cells will keep your powers in check until we can come up with a cure for you guys," Peter told Flint, happy he wasn't enjoying this. "It's the only way to keep you both safe, as well as the city."

"No, I get it, kid," Flint assured him. "You gotta put the city first."

"I swear, Flint," Peter said as he walked over and placed a hand on the glass. "I'll find you a cure."

Flint smiled and saw the determination on Peter's face. "I know you'll try, kid. But don't devote your life to it."

Peter nodded and allowed the doors to close and lock the Molten Man and Sandman inside of the cells. He turned around to Bobby and Barry, both having a smile on their faces.

"You really think you can cure them?" Bobby asks.

"Not today, certainly not tomorrow." Peter shrugged, knowing there wasn't anything they could do for them soon. "But I'll find a way."

"Willingly helping the man who killed your uncle." Barry had to say he didn't see that coming. "I'm proud of you."

"Well...he was a good man who was given bad circumstances," Peter said as he looked back to the cell. "I'm even thinking of bringing his daughter over every now and then."

"That's a nice thought." Barry supposed. "Just make sure she doesn't learn anything she shouldn't."

"I'm still trying to figure out how to explain this to her," Peter said as he eyed the door. "But that's tomorrow's problem."

"He's right. We got a party, don't we?" Bobby asked as he was the first to leave.

Barry smiled as Peter rolled his eyes and the two followed him out. The Watcher kept his eyes on them as they left the room with a smile, happy with his choices.

When they made it to Joe's place, they saw that Cisco and Caitlin were already there, with Iris and Eddie in the living room.

"Where's dr. Wells?" Joe asks them as they walked around.

"He wasn't feeling up to a social gathering, but he appreciated the invitation," Caitlin explains to him when they heard something coming from the kitchen.

"Who's in there?" Joe asks.

"With the smell, I would have to guess May." Peter took a wild guess. "Kicked everyone else out?"

"Faster than the Flash," Eddie admitted. "She has this...haunting death stare."

"She's scary," Bobby said and then looked at Peter. "No offense."

"None taken," Peter assured him.

Then a while later there was a knock at the door and Peter knew that MJ was there. "That must be MJ. I'll get it."

As he walked over to the door, Eddie looked to Barry for an explanation. "MJ?"

Barry leaned closer to explain. "Peter's girlfriend."

"Ooh. Tiny Allen brought a date." Cisco couldn't help but smile at the idea. He then took another sip of the eggnog. "This ought to be good. My money is on pigtails with braces."

"Like a book girl?" Eddie asks him.

"Exactly." Cisco agreed.

Peter then opened the door and saw MJ standing in the doorway with her hair done in curls with some draped over her left shoulder. She wore a similar dress she wore to the homecoming dance, but this time it was all blue, sleeveless, and had snowflakes around the bottom of the skirt. Peter looked awestruck as he wondered how she constantly made herself look more and more beautiful.

"Once again, face it, Tiger." MJ smiled as she saw the amazing look on his face. "You continue to hit the jackpot."

"Yeah, I guess I did," Peter said with a smile, allowing her to come in. When she entered, MJ immediately noticed that everyone was staring. Peter let her friend in and closed the door before making his way over to her. "Everyone, this is MJ. MJ, you know Barry, Bobby, and Caitlin."

"Hi," MJ said sheepishly with a friendly wave. But when nobody responded, she was worried. "Did I do something wrong?"

"I think they're a bit surprised," Peter explained their behavior.

"What does he have on you?" Cisco quickly asked MJ. "Blink twice if you're being blackmailed."

MJ laughed and knew that they were gonna be fun to get to know. "No, I'm with him willingly."

"Really?" Even Iris was shocked to hear.

"Don't sound too surprised, people." Peter sighed and looked at her friend. "You gonna introduce us?"

"Oh, sorry," MJ remembered her friend was with them. "Guys, this is my friend. Crystal."

The girl came out wearing a sleeveless orange shirt and a black skirt. She had short hair that ended at her cheeks and had a black strike across the middle.

"Hey." Crystal greeted everyone in the room.

"Welcome," Joe told the two of them. "Come in, take a seat."

Crystal walked over to take a seat and ended up sitting right next to Bobby. "Hi."

"Hey." Bobby greeted her.

"And like that, the third wheel of Peter and MJ was free of their relationship." The Watcher commented as he looked at the hero. "That sounded weirder than I expected, but it's the best way I could explain it. But be careful, Bobby Drake, this girl has a mystery behind her."
