"Wow! Look at that massive gate!" Takao yelled in awe at the massive door that divided the village from the grasslands.

The entrance to the town was overseen by two guards, both wearing armor and wielding combat spears. They had a very bulky build, resulting in everyone being quite intimidated by them.

The guards, however, didn't seem to have a bother with them. It seemed like they would most likely be allowed inside without problems.

Takao was the first one to approach, rushing past the gate and being the first one to enter the city. The guards didn't seem to have a problem with outsiders entering town, simply letting the others advance as well.

Naoto looked around the town in amazement. The city had an extremely medieval atmosphere to it. People were walking around the streets wearing ragged cloths or very simple attire, causing them to severely stand out with their school uniform.

The group hadn't eaten a lot the last day, so they were currently looking for someplace they could buy a meal in.

"Let's try that place!" Hana called out, pointing at a stand that sold what seemed to look like meat skewers. Naoto, being the one with the pouch full of coins, nodded, walking up to the man running the stand.

"Hey. How much for eight skewers?" Naoto asked the owner.

The owner smiled, using his fingers to count the total price. "Let's see here, boy. Eight skewer should set you back by about... twenty copper"

Naoto sighed in relief. Twenty coppers definitely seemed like a fair price, at least relative to the amount of cash they had on them. Naoto nodded, handing out the copper coins as each member grabbed a skewer, savoring it as they made their way deeper into the city.

"We. Need. Weapons!" Takao yelled in excitement. "If we're going to go out into the wild again, we need some way to defend ourselves."

Naoto and Hana nodded. "You're right, I think we should look for a place to buy some sort of weapon for defending ourselves." Naoto responded as they made their way deeper into the city.

After looking around for a while, a certain place caught the groups attention. It seemed to be a giant tent with a sign on top. The sign read 'Class Awakenings'. "What does Class Awakening mean?" Gamo asked Naoto, who shook his head, apparently having no idea.

"Should we go in? What if there's creepy stuff inside?" Sakura asked. Nagatoro took her chance and turned to Naoto. "Don't worry. Nothings as creepy as this guy right here!" She smacked him in the head repeatedly.

"S-shut up!" He turned back to the tent. "I think we should go in. Whatever it is they're selling, we probably have enough money to cover for it."

The group entered the tent one by one. Surprisingly, it seemed even bigger on the inside than on the outside. The tent was decorated with fluorescent flames floating near the ceiling with magic. The place seemed pretty fancy for all they could tell.

On the sides of the tent, there were multiple weapons and clothing hanging on the wall. And on the center there was a massive circle with a moon symbol drawn on it.

Right behind said circle, there seemed to be what looked like a counter with a book on top. As Naoto and the others looked around, a strange woman jumped from behind the counter, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

"Hello, young travelers! Welcome to my shop of iddy bitty spells. What can I get for you?"

Naoto had jumped in surprise from the woman appearing out of nowhere, and was stuttering in an attempt to respond to the woman. Before he could finally respond, Hino took the lead.

"We were wondering about that sign outside that says 'Class Awakening'. What exactly is it?" He asked as the woman instantly smirked.

"Oh! So you're interested in Class Awakenings! It's very simple." She pointed towards the magic Moon-Circle at the center. "Within each one of you is a different personality, talent, and skill. With class Awakenings, all these factors are combined to determine which class would be most fitting for you. After choosing which class suits you best, you will be given that class, which means you'll specialize in anything that has to do with the class you picked."

She turned to Naoto. "Right now, I even have a special deal. For 20 gold coins, I'll not only let you pick a class, but I'll provide each one of you with a weapon befitting of your class. Think of it as a starter kit." She smiled.

Naoto gave the circle a hard stare, almost as if he were contemplating what to do. She didn't look like she was lying, given the circle and all the accessories filling the place.

"So, 20 Gold of all of us?" He asked, to which the Woman nodded. Naoto looked at the others. They seemed to think the same as him.

The price definitely wasn't cheap. 20 Gold would set them back by a considerable amount. But given what the deal entailed, it looked lime a fair amount.

Naoto approached the counter, handing off the golden coins. The woman smiled, pointing towards the circle. "Please. Take turns standing in the circle, and I'll do the rest.

Naoto was the first one to step into the circle. The woman began to wave her finger, drawing the same symbol as the circle in the air. Suddenly, the circle began to glow a dim, blue light.

"Grant me your power, and awaken that talent which is hidden." The woman chanted repeatedly, as Naoto began to feel a rush trough his body.

It felt like adrenaline was running trough his whole body. He felt almost like he was full of pure life energy. "What's this feeling?" He asked the woman.

"What you're feeling right now is your life energy, or mana. The circle is causing your body to generate an increased level of mana in order to find out what class you fit.

Before Naoto could say another thing, the energy got stronger and stronger, rushing trough his entire body. The energy almost felt too strong for him, as he knelt down on his knees.

The glowing light of the light slowly dissipated as the Woman approached Naoto, putting a blue cape over his shoulders.

For some reason, the pain from the overflowing energy stopped the moment the cape touched his shoulders. The woman instantly gave him an answer as to the reason why. "This cape will help you keep you control your Mana better. You can check your stats to see what class was chosen for you."

Naoto obliged, opening his stat menu. The 'Class' section, which was previously blank, now read the word 'Mage'. "Mage? So I can use magic?!" He yelled in his head with excitement. Although he didn't want to admit it, this was getting him ecstatic. He was also given a staff to better channel his power.

The entire group repeated the process, each one receiving a class dependent on their concentration of mana and their pre-existing talents and physical attributes, as well as their personalities.

Nagatoro received the class 'Beastling', which enchanced her physical abilities according to those of her spiritual animal, hers being a cat. She was also granted an outfit similar to the cosplay that Naoto drew for her, including retractable claws which allowed her to climb walls.

Meanwhile, Gamo received the Class of bruiser, immensely increasing her physical strenght and making her more resistant to damage. She also received a new outfit, that being a spandex suit with belt buckles and a leather covering, along with a whip for long distance combat.

Yoshi was granted the summoner class, being able to capture and tame monster using her magic. She also received a capture watch, which could store the monsters she had already captured within it. Her outfit consisted of a black robe that covered her school outfit, which was now painted black and redesigned to look more in place with this world.

Sakura was chosen as the Cleric of the group. Her outfit was something resembling a Greek robe.

Hana received the class of archer, as well as a bow. Her suit was less fancy than the others, consisting of a green tunic with a robe on tob to cover her head.

Hino was chosen as a thief, receiving a tunic as well, though this one was black. He also got some knives and a pouch that could magically store an infinite amount of items.

And lastly, Takao took on the role of a swordsman, taking a blade and a shield. His costume was simple attire, although it was enchanced with metal padding for protection.

"You all look great. With this, all of your classes have been chosen." The woman smiled as she waved everyone off, who were still in awe from their changes.

"An inn?" Nagatoro asked Naoto. He had previously commented that they should find one, as it was starting to get dark.

"I can see one in the distance. If we're lucky enough, they should have enough beds for all of us." Naoto said as he picked up his pace.

They made it to the entrance relatively quickly, entering as Naoto talked to the owner. "Do you have enough space for eight people?"

The owner scratched his head, before looking back at Naoto. "We have a massive room with ten beds, but it will cost you a hefty amount. 10 silver per night.

Naoto nodded, handing over the money as the owner lead them to the room. It was very big, with three medium sized tables, a common bathroom, and ten different beds.

Naoto and the others settled down in the room, finally able to rest after a long day.

"What do we do tommorow? Now that we at least have something to defend ourselves with, what should be our next step?" Hana asked.

Gamo smiled. "Well, with powers as cool as this, it would be a sin not to test them. How about we go out tommorow to fight some monsters?"

The entire group went ecstatic with the idea. Admittedly, they all wanted to test their newfound power, so they all agreed instantly.

"This was a long day, so I'm gonna hit the sack." Gamo said, as Yoshi copied her. "HIT THE SACK". Soon enough, both of them were already in their bed, resting quietly.

As time went on, more and more of the group slowly drifted to sleep, leaving Naoto alone in the room. "This... is fun. It's more fun than my... my old life." He thought to himself.

He quietly got himself into his bed and stared at the ceiling as he slowly closed his eyes, ready for another day in this bizarre world they were all thrown into.

Notes: Hey all! I know what you're thinking and yes. I know this episode feels very sloppy and rushed. I promised on reddit that I'd publish a new Chapter of this Fanfic by today, so I had to rush to finish everything. I would normally not do this, but I didn't want to break my promise. With that, I hope you atleast enjoyed Chapter 4.
