Dirt ripples and rises as rain pours upon a grave. Lightning strikes and metal shatters. A clawed hand pushes through the dirt and groaning is heard. A figure with horns is seen pulling himself up out of the grave.
"Did you think I was gone?" The figure laughs. "There is only room for one demon king you potato-headed body snatcher and that's me! IZUKU SADAO MIDORIYA!"
AN: So this is back. How long has it been since the last chapter? A year, probably more. God, it's been so long, I can not make any excuse except for the fact I burned myself out on MHA fics and I apologize for leaving this unfinished. I hope you all enjoy this new chapter. I checked to see if anyone had adopted this but I haven't seen anything, but if you were working on chapters before posting please message me. God, I really rambled in my old ANs. Now, what the hell were my plans for this? Eh time to wing it. Mwahahahahaha!
Chapter 11
Izuku stretched as he prepared to leave for his shift at MgRonalds. A day and a half had passed since the meeting at UA and informing the staff about what he was. Emerada theorized Chiho's strange behavior was tied to Emi and his use of magic. Still, unfortunately, they couldn't test it out as both had expended their magical reserves during the attack on the USJ. Izuku thought about his own battle with Lucifer and frowned, personally he'd feel better if he could keep an eye on him. Lucifer would just escape if he was taken to prison but the heroes never brought him up in conversation so he'd just have to wait.
"Mom! I'm heading out to work. Do you need me to pick anything up on the way home?" Izuku called out.
"Not that I can think of. *cough* If I need anything I'm sure Mr. Ashiya can get it for me." His mother said from her chair. "Just stay safe ok dear?" Ever since the USJ Inko had been worrying about him even though he technically didn't get hurt.
"Well, it is fast food mom." Izuku chuckles at his joke. "But I'll try my hardest, I'm sure Chi-chan will keep me out of trouble."
"Bring Emilia and her over someday I want to meet the girls who stole my baby's heart!" Inko teased as Izuku was leaving.
"MOM!" His face was as red as a ripe tomato.

"Thank you for choosing MgRonalds your food will be ready soon and I'll call your number." Chiho smiled handing the customer their receipt. Izuku made the Black pepper fries while Hikari worked the burger station. She stretched and sighed, ever since the USJ incident, she's been concerned about how the school will treat Izu and Emi. Some of the teachers looked terrified when Izuku revealed his past. The door rang as another customer walked inside.
"How can I help you this fine day?" Chiho smiled.
"Well, I'll take the third pounder, a side of black pepper fries, a medium soda, and how about the number of the cutest girl I know?" The customer stifled a laugh as Chiho started putting in the order.
"I'm sorry but I'm no…" Chiho looked up and noticed the customer was Emi. "You already have my number Emi. Will that be all?"
"Took you long enough and no. When are you guys off?" Emi asked looking at Izuku work.
"Two more hours." Her screen pinged. "Order 66! 66!" The customer from earlier came to the stand. "Here you go." Chiho handed them a bag and they left with a smile.
"It's pretty dead here huh?" Emi commented looking around.
"It's not that surprising." Izuku came up with her order. "The USJ got attacked and it's part of UA, the largest hero school in Japan. I doubt anyone will be coming here." The manager walks around the corner. "Tell your friends and family about our Black Pepper Fries!" The manager looked out the window and scowled.
"What's wrong Miss. Kisaki?" Chiho asked.
"They're opening a Sentucky Fried Chicken down the street," Kisaki growled.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Izuku went to the window as well. "It's so close as well, there's got to be some law about that?"
"Why's that a bad thing?" Emi was confused.
"If more people go there there are fewer customers here, and fewer customers equal fewer employees needed on a shift," Chiho explained with a sigh. The manager scowled and went to her office. Emi understood the annoyance now, both Izuku and Chiho weren't the best financially speaking so losing hours wouldn't be ideal.
"Well, who knows? It could fail and you won't have anything to worry about." Emi tried to reassure the two.
"I am sorry to trouble you but I would Like to speak to your manager." A voice came from the doorway. A man with blue hair in a suit and sunglasses walked to the counter.
"She's in the back right now, may I ask why you wish to speak with her?" Izuku asked with a smile.
"Simple I just wish to introduce myself." The man pulled a card from his pocket. "Here is my business card." He handed it to Izuku. Looking at the card Izuku had to stop himself from ripping the card.
"Hikari, tell Miss. Manager that there's someone looking for her," Izuku called out to the line cook.
"Right away."
"So you are the manager of that new Sentucky Fried Chicken?" Izuku asked.
"Mitsuki Sarue, how do you do?" The man introduced himself. "I figured Why not introduce myself to you before we finish setting up? I'm sure I'll be far too busy to do so when we open up." Sarue smirked. "I must admit this is a rather lovely street. High patrols of 'heroes' and a nice mix of business and pleasure. The women aren't half bad either."
"Well, I wouldn't know ha ha ha. I'm just a student after all." Izuku felt two pairs of eyes glaring at him.
"Of course, one day you shall understand the…" Sarue trailed off and was blushing up a storm.
"So this is the guy?" Miss Kisaki said from behind Izuku. "It's a pleasure to meet a fellow manager." Chiho and Izuku could hear her grinding her teeth in anger as she smiled.
"Beautiful, how strange is fortune I had to move to another country to find the goddess of beauty." Sarue was acting off-putting, and Chiho hide behind Izuku. "Oh, goddess so desperate am I for your forbidden love I would fall all the way from heaven." Hikari barely stopped himself from laughing.
"Ok then," Miss. Kisaki took a step back. "Not what I was expecting from Sentucky."
"Truth my beloved you and I are from two irreconcilable organizations I from Sentucky and you from MgRonalds." The guy flung his arms out wide.
"Izuku I'm scared," Chiho whispered.
"You and me both Chi." Izuku nodded. Miss. Kisaki was frowning with disgust now. She gave him the signal to call someone should Sarue not leave and he nodded, taking Chi to the office phone.
"We are like the Romeo and Juliet of the fast food industry. Star-crossed lovers bound by the strings of fate!"
"I think you must have inhaled some fumes, and I don't think an ambulance will help." Kisaki frowned.
"Oh, my sweet how amazing that you worry about my health!" Sarue continued on.
"Can you please leave your going to scare off customers?" Kisaki tried to get him to leave.
"Oh, how considerate you are to potential customers!" Sarue bowed. " I shall go for now but I will be waiting with bated breath until the day you call me." With that, the strangest rival to MgRonalds left the building.
"What a freak."

Thankfully the rest of the weekend went by fast and Sarue didn't make another appearance. The next school day finally arrived and Izuku and Emi sat with their class waiting for whoever would be their substitute until Mr. Aizawa came back. For the most part, their classmates were more focused on who appeared on tv because of the news report. There were a few glances Izuku's way mainly from Todoroki and Bakugo.
"Who do you think our substitute will be?" Mina asked allowed leaning back in her chair, nearly falling over. Thankfully Tsuyu caught her before she could fall.
"Who knows, it was short notice and who would want to cover after what happened?" Kaminari shrugged.
"I hope Mr. Aizawa is ok he didn't look great the last time we saw him," Emi said to Izuku.
"The fact he was there tells me he's likely fine. Have those two left yet?" Izuku asked her.
"Yeah, they left yesterday. Emerada left me a present." Emi pulled out a small battle that was generally used for those five-hour energy drinks. "Basically condensed celestial magic in a liquid form."
"Lucky, I have to feed off of negativity still. Thankfully my body makes me as strong as someone with a strength quirk." Izuku complained. The door to the classroom opened and in walked what must have been Mr. Aizawa because he was covered in bandages.
"Sir! Are you sure it's wise to come to school in your condition?" Iida asked with his arms chopping.
"I'm fine. Recovery Girl knows her stuff."Aizawa's eyes stopped at Izuku for a split second as he was looking around the room. "There's no need to worry about me. Though you all should know. Your battle isn't over yet."
