Infiltrating the base the team splitted up into 2 pairs Yamato and Sakura, Naruto and Yami , traveling through the halls that's covered with strange snake like markings Naruto and Yami were cut off by Orochimaru.
"STRIKING SNAKE TECHNIQUE " Orochimaru called out his technique jumping away just in time as 2 big snakes came out of his right sleeve, retracting his snakes and said "... you're a very little persistent fox aren't you "
"You go and find Sasuke ... I'll handle ol'snake face " Naruto ordered Yami as he nodded and ran off.
"So you came here to retrieve Sasuke eh ...I commend your zeal but I assure you , the out come of this will not be in your favour " taunted Orochimaru
"Shut up! first I'm gonna take you down ...then I'm bringing Sasuke home " Naruto fiercely exclaimed and formed a rat hand seal.
" He's not here either " said Sakura, just then Yamato felt Naruto's chakra dropped and told Sakura to follow him .
"What happened to all your energy?" Orochimaru asked Naruto while he huffed ,just then Yamato and Sakura arrived to back Naruto up.
"You again Orochimaru..." Yamato said before getting on guard
"Humph... remember Naruto ...this makes twice that I let you live ...a debt I hope you'll someday repay by eliminating at least one more Akatsuki member for me..and now if you'll excuse me, I've got some unfinished business "Orochimaru smirked and disappeared.
"Naruto where's Yami " asked Yamato
"Oh no... he went to look for Sasuke we've got to find them before Orochimaru does " he responded hurriedly
"...Now to put my secret mission into action " Yami smirked and performed four hand seals , slamming his right hand on floor and said "LIGHTNING STYLE : MAGNETIC FIELD" a lightning current formed a circle around his hand on the ground as he used the earth magnetic field around him , closing his eyes he could see the vibrations forming images around him looking for a specific heart he saw four hearts beating close to one another with the one furthers disappearing after a moment ,looking again he saw a calm heart beat beating not to far from him focusing more that one the image became clearer of a young man sleeping on a bed , getting a layout of the place he removed his hand standing up and said " Gotcha" and move towards his room .
Silently opening the door to the room he silently enter and raised his right hand and formed it like he's holding a gun.
"who's there "Asked Sasuke with his back turned
"Oh just , you know a guy named Yami from Konoha " he responded nonchalantly
"What do you want "
" ... your death"
"That's your excuse...for disturbing my rest?"
"Let's cut to the chase shall we "
"...Very well"
BOOM!!!!
The rest of team 7 busy looking for Yami when a explosion suddenly alerted them and had the base rumbling.
"What?!" Naruto shouted
"...it came from that way " Sakura responded
"I sense Yami's chakra " after Yamato informing them they move to where the explosion happened.

"Wow...I didn't expect you to defend yourself so forcibly" Yami said looking up with a cocky smirk on his face while having his arms crossed over his chest.
"Yami!" Sakura shouted while running from the explosion entrance to him looking worried , seeing that he wasn't paying attention to her she slowed down stopping before him and slowly turned to where he was looking at ,wearing dark blue pants, over which hangs a blue cloth that covers him from his stomach to his knees, which he secures with a purple rope belt, as is common to Orochimaru and his followers. He initially
complements this with a white long-sleeved shirt kept open at the torso and black arm guards that cover his forearms.
' ...Sasuke..' She thought shocked when her eyes finally landed on him
"Well,well,well... if it isn't Sakura" said Sasuke
"...S-Sasuke.." she responded still in shock , watching as Sakura stood in shock Naruto finally decided to run to the site while almost tripping he finally reached the site standing next to Sakura he looked up to in shocked at finally finding him.
"So Naruto ...you came too " Sasuke address Naruto" I assume this means Kakashi's here somewhere"
"Sorry but Kakashi couldn't make it , I'm here in his stead ...we of team Kakashi are here to take you back to konoha" Yamato responded stepping next to his team.
"Take me back eh funny ...I thought you're here to kill me "
The rest of team 7 looked in shock while looking back to Yami for confirmation to Sasuke's accusation not hearing him say anything Yamato said "So that was your secret mission this whole time "
"Affirmative" he finally responded back cold and robotic like ,the team hurt that their trust has be broken asked why he lied to them.
"I never once lied to you nor have I deceived you about being your friend, my mission is what only counts ...this bond of friendship, brotherhood that you have with the Uchiha is none of my business " he responded not taking his eyes of Sasuke.
"Had ...I had a bond with them , I have different bonds now " Sasuke said pulling their attention away from Yami and continued.
"The bond of hatred between my older brother and I ... personal ties causes confusion, precious memories only make you weak...and that's exactly why I cut them off"
Naruto thought back at their fight at the valley of the end and asked him "why Sasuke ...why on that day ...WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST KILL ME?! THAT WOULD'VE BROKEN IT OR MAYBE YOU CAN'T MAYBE YOU'RE AFRAID HUH?!?" at the end shouted at him hurt and frustrated.
"..There's a simple explanation... it's not that I couldn't break the bond between us.. I was simply doing as my brother did before me ...it was just a strategy to gain power "he responded back coldly
"What do you mean?! " Naruto asked exclaimed
"I don't need to explain anything to you ...the only thing you need to know ...is that your life was only spared on a whim!"he said disappearing
Yamato and Sakura looked on in shocked that he appeared so fast between them and so close to Naruto with his arm on his around Naruto's shoulder and Yami looking calmly on to what's unfolding in front of him .
"That reminds me...didn't you use to say your dream was to become Hokage?" Sasuke asked him in his ear.
"Instead of wasting all that time chasing me you should've been training... because this time...you could lose your life on a whim" He said pulling his sword slowly out of his scabbard as the tip of the sword was about to be removed... bam! he was kicked in the face sending him flying in a couple of rocks , everyone looked on in shocked at how fast Yami kicked Sasuke with Sakura proclaiming his name.
"Have you forgotten me already...that won't do "Yami said in a cocky tone a few feet Infront of the team as the dust settled Sasuke could be seen wiping his cheek with sharingan activated picking up his sword and getting reading to attack, Yami smirked taking of his traveling bag and threw it to the side and walked slowly to him as unnoticeably as to some but not Sasuke ,a lightning bolt ran into ground at the newest member feet with tension rising the rest of team stood back in shock and concern as both of them disappeared and met in the middle with their swords clashing and sparks flying looking into each other eyes they started to clashing their blades with swipes , thrusts and blocks while moving in a circle and sparks flew around them. Yami getting noticeably faster with each clashing of blades, dodge a downward swipe , cutting horizontally he dodge it again while wearing a smirk on his face dodging the sequences of vertical, diagonally and horizontal cuts , Sasuke jumped away and thought ' ..the hell..' as Yami put his sabre in his scabbard back and raised his hand and made a came here motion getting angry he flew towards the root member just as Yami getting ready a seal flared red on his neck and he stumbled , Sasuke smirked as he got him with his genjutsu .He was about to go for the kill blow with a forward thrust ,when his foe dodge again by bending down, shocked at the fact he dodge .Sasuke wasn't ready for the lightning fast uppercut from Yami as flew to the side of the slope , standing straight and waiting for him to return lightning could be seen running over Yami's clenched fist .
" ... you're fast yes ..." the lightning travel from his first up to his whole body , getting into a boxer stance Yami continued " ..but I'm faster"
Jumping away from his crash site and landing crouched he spit out blood to the side and wiped his mouth bringing his sword up he pointed at Yami and said "CHIDORI SHARP SPEAR" a fast lightning spear flew towards him ,just as the spear
was about to touch his forehead he disappeared and right hooked Sasuke in the face sending him flying and bouncing 2 times on the ground ,crashing into a few debris . Naruto , Sakura and Yamato stood astonished at the Yami's displaying speed and power ,when the dust started to settle Sasuke stood up groggy and stumbled a little with a cut open above his left eye bleeding with his sword of to the side ,gaining his balance again he lifted his right foot of the ground he was punched in the stomach his body folding around the fist he floated a few inches of the ground as agony flashed on his face , a right jab slammed the left side of his face and spit flew out his mouth, Yami caught him by his hair and brought his head down and left knead his face breaking his nose , with his body floating up it showed how much force was used by the knee as blood spurted out his nose , Yami back kicked him in the stomach to the side of the base of Orochimaru.The force of the body colliding with the wall brought on a huge a dust cloud.
"Sasuke!!" Sakura proclaimed worried trying to get to his side to help him but was stopped by Yami's killer intent "...If you get involved with my mission...I will ...kill you " he glared her down as he waited to for the dust to settle, a sinister pressure was felt through the area , stepping out of the dust was Sasuke , but changed as it seems he activated his full curse mark and entered the
cursed seal's second state: a transformation that turns his skin grey, lengthens his hair, and causes him to develop wings he looked at Yami with his black eyes and said sinisterly " ...I hope you had your shots in cause that's the last you ever will " '...so this is the cursed seal's power Danzo talked about ' Yami noticed with an intrigued gleam in his eye answering him "...Trust me Sasuke Uchiha.. I'm just getting started " chakra exploded from him crating the ground and formed an armour around him with lightning constantly traveling around him .He smirked arrogantly and disappeared, Sasuke snarling disappeared to and met him fist to fist , the shock wave created by the collision cracked the ground beneath them disappearing the two clash for a moment before break off and separating by jumping back and making hand seals Sasuke called out "FIRE STYLE : GREAT FIREBALL TECHNIQUE" and shot out a giant fire ball from his mouth, seeing the fireball heading his way he took a runner position and shot off breaking the ground to the giant ball of flame , stopping in front of and punched with his right fist it dispersing it as the force of how fast he was he going, travelled to Sasuke blowing his hair back crossed his arms in front of his face to protect it ,bringing down his arms after the winds died down ,flames could be seen surrounding Yami dancing, looking at him snarling and clenching fists Sasuke raised his chakra higher and higher as the chidori sparked in his left hand , Yami got ready to defend himself by getting back into his boxing stance, looked up confused as clouds started forming above them , looking back at Sasuke as he jump on the cliff side and raising his left hand with the chidori as lightning and thunder bellowed out from the clouds when it suddenly started to rain. Seeing as his foe was about to use a huge attack Yami created 3 shadow clones weakening him a little and sent them to take the rest of the team 7 to safety in Orochimaru's base , having no chance to fight back they were carried into the base with the shadow clones creating a mud wall and closed off the entrance , looking up to attack that was transpiring above him Yami took out his sabre and raised his chakra level with his lightning armour getting erratic and more powerful he activated the second version of the armour as his hair started standing up and his eyes gained a white glow " begone with the thunderclap...KIRIN!!!" Sasuke shouted while bringing his left hand down with the chidori not giving him time to charge an attack a fierce some dark blue lightning Chinese dragon with red eyes came out of the clouds and shot down and struck Yami destroying the already exploded site even more . when the attack was over and the dust settled, Sasuke back in his normal form went to retrieve his sword joined Orochimaru and Kabuto and retreated.
When the ground stopped shaking and Yami's clones popped they saw it was a good to time to go out and see how much damage was done , Sakura punched the wall shattering it with her monstrous strength they saw that the battle ground was covered in fissures and destroyed rocks and raining with Yami laying on his stomach along with his broken sabre in the middle of the giant crater, they ran to towards him seeing him covered in burns made them run faster ,stopping Sakura quickly sat beside him and ran a diagnostic on him . Turning him over gently she gasped when his front was revealed to looking even worst than his back , half of his face burned and his upper body clothes reduce to shreds sticking to his burns and his pants turned into shorts with his left pants leg stopping at the shin, both his arm braces gone with his right arm is heavily burnt as smoke was still raising from it , seeing the state on which he was in, Naruto stumbled back ,his legs giving out and collapsed on the ground in shock next to him Yamato lowered his head and closed his eyes.
Feeling his chest with her green medical chakra she quickly exclaimed "He's still alive!" relieved that there's still a pulse to be felt she worked double time on keeping him alive.
"How ?!" Asked Yamato astonished
"He's pulse is weak but if I keep focusing on it he'll make it out alive ,Captain Yamato you will have to help me disinfect his wounds and bandaging most of it there's not much cause I didn't think injuries will be this intensive luckily we have medical salve " she responded working even harder
"Right!"
Yamato and Sakura worked hard on keeping Yami alive , Naruto sat on side relieved, but still frustrated ,sad and thought ' ...is this how far you would go Sasuke...to cut off your bonds ' clenching his fist he stared down on ground as it continued to rain . Yamato making a makeshift stretcher gently carried Yami out of the hole with the rest of team 7 following behind him .
Making camp the team rested and Sakura checking regularly on Yami , Yamato asked "..How bad is it .." slowly healing him she responded " as far as I can tell he has a broken right leg , three broken ribs with his whole right arm broken and torn muscles in his whole body and...a burnt out right eye ...I'm surprised he's even breathing much less alive ..." A tired looked on her face show much the mission worked on her emotions " I healed most of his burns and muscles but we have to get back to the village to see over his other injuries " she continued " This whole mission was a mess " he said as she lowered her head , Naruto sat outside the tent listening in on the conversation and lowered his head to .

If anyone thought that I've made Yami to powerful, remember in earlier chapters it was revealed that Yami is Danzo's weapon meaning Danzo took a personal interest in how he developed and Danzo had like 10 sharingans on his arm.Sai not even personally trained by Danzo was pretty powerful to.
