I'm a shamy shipper, but sometimes I wonder, "What if Leonard and Amy became a real ship?" Leonard and Amy are both very submissive in their relationships. It hurts.

The Big Bang Theory is an American television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady

Sheldon dashed down the building after his phone call with Amy was disconnected. Leonard explains its significance, and he is screwed because Amy was indeed taking their relationship to the next level.

"You want a girlfriend. Amy wants to be someone's girlfriend. Take her off my hands, I give you my blessing! " He said in a panic, "I can't see myself having a romantic relationship with anyone."

"Talk to Amy first to clear things up; I think she just needs to introduce you as her boyfriend to get her mother off her back."

"You know, I can't handle secrets well; get her out of my life, date her, or have coitus with her."

That same day, Sheldon severed all ties with Amy, blocked her in all media they shared, including phone, email, and Facebook, and changed their address to 311 Los Robles. The only flaw in an otherwise perfect plan is when Amy comes by and checks the apartment.

Leonard recognized the emotion Sheldon instilled in Amy, the feeling that the connections had abruptly been detached without an explanation. He refused to use his girlfriend's pact with Howard and decided to go check on Amy and explain Sheldon's decision to her.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Who is it?" He heard Amy from inside.

"Leonard."

Amy opens the door with a confused face.

"Hello, Leonard. To what do I owe your visit?" she asked as she let him in.

"Sheldon has decided not to see you any longer because he cannot handle your relationship progressing any further."

"What made him think I'd want our relationship to the next level?"

"Well, I also told him to talk to you first because this could be a ruse to get you and your mother's agreement, but he still refused."

"You're not as tedious as I think you are. If that's the case with Sheldon. It's okay," Leonard says, seeing Amy's hurt expression. "I'll utilize dating apps and other methods to find a date again."

He remembered Sheldon giving him the blessing to date Amy. He found her condescending and intimidating, but he also noticed that Amy, like him, isolated herself, was lonely, and was bullied.

"Do you want me to help you in your mother's instance? We could perpetrate a ruse." Leonard offered."

"Are you certain you want to assist me?"

"You are a part of our small social group. I can't find any reason not to help you?"

"Thank you, Leonard. I owe you for this one." She initiated the hug and he gladly accepted it.

Driving his way home, Leonard gave some thought to their plan with Amy's mother. They exchange phone numbers and make plans to meet her mother via Skype on Sunday sundown. They will rehearse a script provided by her so they need to see each other more often this week.

On Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., they will practice in her apartment . They'll table-read the script, memorize each line, and deliver it flawlessly.

He told Sheldon about his deal with Amy. Sheldon was upset and tried to find a way to ruin his late-night plans. Fortunately, Rajesh offered to assist and help Sheldon with whatever cockamamie he was up to.

Leonard dropped Sheldon off at the front of their apartment complex right after work and informed him that Rajesh would take him to the train store. He drove the car to Glendale to see Amy.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"You are early."

"Hi, Amy!" He let himself in. "Is the script ready or do you need me to help you?"

"We can have a dry-run and let's see if modification is needed."

Amy offered him a can of Yoo-hoo. Leonard told her that he couldn't say the words "vagina," "loins," or any other reproductive organ to her mother. He explains that if he is her boyfriend, those are inappropriate words to say in front of her parents.

"Just be respectful and let's keep the rated PG part to ourselves."

Amy offered to treat him to dinner after they table-read and made some adjustments, but he declined because it was getting late. He doesn't want Amy to drive back to her apartment by herself.

That Sunday, Leonard wears a gray suit and blue tie in preparation for Amy's mother. He was aware that it was only on Skype but he assumed that if his true significant other wants him to introduce to her parents, he will wear the best suit he has to make a good impression.

"Well, I'm off to meet Amy's mother. How do I look? " He inquired of Sheldon.

"As if one of the plants from Invasion of the Body Snatchers duplicated you in every way, only with an absurd amount of hair gel. Amy is going to think this suit is ridiculous."

"So, we're now good friends. And, just so you know, Amy took back her remark about me being tedious."

Before Sheldon could respond, he grabbed his keys, slammed the door, and ran down the stairs.

Leonard arrived early at Amy's apartment to set up the view. He brought Amy flowers, which they placed in a vase along with some stuffed animals in the background. She wants it to be credible.

Amy fixed his hair and tie. "You ready?" Amy asked.

"Yes." He closed the gap between them on the sofa by wrapping her hand around her waist. He tried to be as calm as possible. Amy placed her hands on her lap immediately after dialing her mother's number, and Leonard took them and looked at her, guaranteeing her that this was all an act.

"Hello, Amy." Mrs. Fowler nodded in Leonard's direction.

"Hello, mother." This is Leonard, my boyfriend.

"It's nice to meet you, Leonard. I honestly didn't believe Amy when she told me she had a boyfriend.

"Hi, Mrs. Fowler. I can assure you that I am real and I am Amy's boyfriend. I promise you that I will make sure she is safe, happy, and loved." Unscripted, he kissed Amy's forehead, which gave him chills down to his spine. With jaw-dropped, they looked at each other for a few seconds.

"Amy!" She broke the connection and returned to the laptop screen.

"You wanted me to have a boyfriend, Mother. Well, here he is. I have to sign off now. " She presses the button to end the call.

"Thank you, Leonard, that went very well."

She invited him to dinner as a way of repaying him. They went to the Cheesecake Factory on Leonard's recommendation. Bernadette took their order and moved to a different table.

"Why did you pick this place? The service here isn't even close to fair, and for a factory, this place isn't very efficient," Amy asked.

"I am having a craving for their turkey sandwich, and there's a bar here. You can leave me here after we eat. "

"Okay, Leonard. Is something bothering you? Not to be nosy, but you've been a good friend to me. I just wanted to return the favor. "

"You really don't want to hear my whining and self-loathing. Don't worry about it. "

"If I am, say, a top neuroscientist, which is true, and you are a subject in my study comparing the emotional backgrounds of single, married, and widowed people, would you consider telling me your story?

"I guess, because in that way, maybe, you'll never judge me."

"Then, let's do it. Pretend that I put EEG on your head. What do you want to whine about? "

"For some time, I've wanted to have a stable relationship with someone. You know, have regular dates, say I love you, make love. I want what they have, a significant other. "

"It's in our genes to seek other people's company; Sheldon told me you've been on and off with Penny; perhaps that's why you chose this location?"

"No…" He denied the accusation.

"Well, I find the notion of romantic love to be an unnecessary cultural construct that adds no value to human relationships. I did work on a study that disproved love at first sight. "

"On that note, what qualities do you see in Sheldon as a friend?"

"Sheldon is my first friend" He saw her eyes light up when she mentioned Sheldon. "And now he has terminated our friendship agreement. And if it weren't for him, I would never have met you."

"Hey, I know your breakup is difficult," he said, touching her hands and assuring him that he was also her friend. "He didn't take it well either, but I'm here for you, and I'm also your friend," he said sweetly which made her smile.

Leonard invited her to the bar after the meal was finished and Amy agreed to take the request.

"I only had alcohol during fund-raising dinners as it was a social protocol to have one, but I didn't bother to taste it." She explains.

"This is your lucky day, Amy; I'm going to order some and you have to take it; by the way, since I invited you to drink, I'm going to drive you home."

Leonard called the bartender, who turned out to be his ex, Penny.

"Leonard! Who's the girl you picked up? Oh wait, it's Amy! " Penny gave him an are you dating look.

He realized he'd put Amy and himself in an awkward situation with Penny. They only have dinner together and it isn't a date, so there should be no guilt.

"Hello, Penny." She checks her phone for a liquor app. "As a first-time alcohol drinker, according to this liquor app, I should get a wheat beer," she said to Penny. "Make it two; my friend here hates and whines about girls."

Penny prepared their order and put down two glasses of beer in front of them.

"So what's bothering you, mate?" Imitating an Australian accent. He looks at Leonard, waiting for his answer.

Penny was on her way to another customer before he could respond. He looked at her and realized she had moved on from him at the speed of light, but it was only now that he noticed what they had was not real. Maybe she just needed to get over him pursuing her. She is unable to give a response to the words "I love you." He had a romantic interest in her since the first time he met her. They were friends, but were they romantically involved?

He'd been watching himself fall head over heels with Penny for years, but nothing good had come back to him. Instead, he became even more miserable as he tried to elicit even the tiniest drop of love from her. He blithely provide all of her requests for food, internet access, favors, and credit. He accepted her as a friend even after their breakup. He has to swallow the truth and refuses to play any more games. This penny infatuation has to stop. He accepted the fact that he would never see their beautiful and smart children.

"Amy, would you like to go out on a real date with me?
