Hello and welcome to another installment of RWBY Across the Multiverse. Next up is part 2 of the Power Ranger universe. Sorry for the long wait. Between family visiting for the holiday, moving some furniture, replacing said furniture and buying the entire Bleach series, I haven't had much time on my hands.

Now, let's get to it.
[Scene; Command Center]
While the Rangers are busy dealing with the creations Salem made, Ozma and Penny prepare for the worst-case scenario.
"Penny, my sensors tell me that the Rangers were too late." Ozma says grimly. "Salem is on her way here."
"So that's why she left." Summer says with a gasp. "She's going after Ozma!"
"That's not good." Yang says. "Ozma's a floating head. He can't defend himself."
"What about Penny?" Ruby asks hopefully.
"I'm afraid Penny doesn't have the powers ours has." Blaze says with a frown. "In this universe, she's only an android."
"There has to be something, right?" Weiss asks.
"Do not worry." Penny says. "Only those with a Power Coin can enter the command center."
Ruby sighs with relief. "Well, that's good."
Salem smirks. "Wait for it."
As soon as Penny uttered those words, an alarm goes off. Ozma and Penny turn to face the door to the power chamber, which was currently dripping black ooze!
Penny's eyes widen. "Oh dear."
"But how?" Jaune asks.
"There's a saying an alternate version of one of you says in another universe." Blaze says. "Screw the rules, I have money!" In this particular case, Screw the rules, magic is bullshit!"
Ozma watches in horror as the black ooze continues to seep into the power chamber. The ooze then forms into Salem. The Queen looks around her before walking forward with a slight chuckle.
"My, my. How fancy." Salem says as she looks around the power chamber. "I suppose if you invest your money well for 60 centuries, you can buy something pretty nice."
Penny socks Salem in the face. However, the Queen doesn't seem fazed. If anything, Salem is amused.
"...Oh." Penny whimpers.
"Oh, bugger." Neo says with wide eyes.
"Good try, Penny." Ruby says. "A for effort."
Salem gives an amused giggle before taping Penny's forhead. The Queen shocks the android with black lightning, causing Penny to spiral out of control while repeatedly saying the word error.
"You haven't changed, Salem." Ozma says. "You still pick on creatures smaller than yourself."
Salem frowns at her former husband's counterpart.
"Oh, put a sock in it, Oz." Salem waves off as she moves closer to Ozma's chamber. "10 minutes out of the egg and I'm already listening to one of your lectures."
"Ouch." Oscar says with a wince.
Salem snarls at Ozma. "You locked me away in your stuffy hyperlock chamber and tossed me into the depths like yesterday's trash. Do you have any idea what it's like to be locked away in a rotten egg for 6,000 years? It's boring."
"...You know, I actually kinda get that." Roman says after a pause. "Could've at least given her a few crosswords."
The hero's deadpan at Roman.
Salem winces as she stretches her leg. "Not to mention I've had a charley horse since Malik the Sunderer ruled Vacuo."
"Oof." Yang says with a wince. "Those things hurt."
Ozma narrows his eyes. "You won't get away with this, Salem"
"You robbed me of my prime." Salem says. "I was the supreme ruler of the most foul empire in the universe! And now, it's time to pay the piper."
Salem pulls out a flute from...somewhere, plays a short tune and then blast one of the power generators with the instrument.
"Whoa!" The heroes exclaim in shock.
"Oh, the things that I have missed!" Salem says. "The Great War!"
Salem blasts another power generator as Ozma watches helplessly.
"The collapse of Mountain Glenn!" Salem says while blasting another generator. "The end of Red vs Blue."
Yang pauses. "...Okay, that one made sense."
Salem continues to destroy the power chamber, laughing maniacally all the way.
"Stop breaking our stuff!" Team RWBY, Penny and Neo exclaim.
With the damage inflicted on the power chamber, Ozma's face begins to fade from his chamber as he moans in pain. The only thing Ozma can hear is the maniacal laughter of his former love before he loses consciousness.
"...Ohhh no...!" The heroes say with concern and fear.
[Scene change to construction sight]
After the Rangers transformation, the Apathy fled into an unfinished building. The heroines gave chase as they warily search for their quarry.
"This place gives me the creeps." Blake says.
"I heard that." Yang says.
"So, while the Rangers search for the Apathy, Ozma is being attacked by Salem." Summer says gravely.
"And they don't even know what's happening." Pyrrha says with a frown.
The Rangers continue moving forward. At one point, Jeanne thought she saw an Apathy behind a pillar. But it was a false alarm.
"I've got a bad feeling about this place." Jeanne says.
"Perfect location for a slasher fic." Blaze says.
"Or an ambush." Roman says.
As the Rangers walk through the building, they can't help but feel like they're being watched. They take defensive positions at a sudden sound.
"Anybody see anything?" Neo asks.
Weiss turns to Yang. "We need some light."
Yang nods. "Activating Power Beam."
The eye holes in Yang's helmet light up like a cars headlights.
"Wow, that's one way to shed some light on this situation." Yang says with a grin.
The rest of the audience groans at Yang's pun.
With Yang's helmet shining some light on the dark hallway, the Rangers continue their search. After a while, it seems like their enemies are nowhere to be found.
"They've got to be around here somewhere." Weiss says.
"Activating Power Scope." Ruby says.
Ruby's helmet turns into some kind of scanner.
"Oooh! Neat." Ruby says with Summer nodding in agreement.
"Talk to me, Ruby." Weiss says. "What do you got?"
"The readings are all over the place." Ruby says. "I don't know what these things are made of, but I can't lock them down."
"Their technology needs some much-needed upgrades." Penny says.
"Alright, stay alert." Weiss says.
The Rangers pass a pillar, unaware of the shadow that just appeared behind them!
"It's an ambush!" The heroes exclaim.
Suddenly, Ruby gets a reading as she points to her left. "Over there!"
Yang and Ruby deactivate their special weapons.
"Let's power up!" Weiss says.
"Right!" The Rangers say.
The Apathy come out of their hiding places and charge at the Rangers.
"Here they come!" Yang says.
The Rangers separate as they begin to take down the Apathy. Weiss spin kicks one as another creature tries to attack Neo. The pink Ranger dodges before repeatedly kicking the Apathy. Each kick raising the creature in the air.
"Ugh, you guys make me sick sick sick sick sick!" Neo exclaims with every kick.
After one last kick, the Apathy falls to the ground, face first.
"Wow, a little excessive don't you think?" Roman asks.
"I told you those things are nightmare fuel." Neo says with a shrug.
An Apathy slugs Jeanne in the face, but the blue Ranger recovers. Jeanne then gives the creature two roundhouse kicks before giving the Apathy a kick to the face.
"Knock out!" Jaune says.
Weiss crashes through a wall but manages to recover. An Apathy rushes towards the white Ranger, but is kicked back. Just in time for Weiss to spin kick an approaching Apathy. One of the creatures manages to get a lucky shot and knocks Weiss to the ground. Just when the creature attempts to finish the Ranger off, Weiss kicks it away.
"Back off!" Weiss says.
Weiss flips herself on to her feet, just in time for her to kick an Apathy on to the floor above her. Two of the creatures suddenly charge at Weiss from both sides. Just before they reach her, the white Ranger does a spinning jump to the floor above her. Leaving the two creatures to look on in confusion.
"Nice moves, Weiss." Ruby says with a smile.
Weiss smiles not only at her counterparts display, but also her partners praise.
Suddenly, an Apathy drops down to Weiss. The white Ranger notices the approaching enemy and backhands it. The creature recovers and tries to punch Weiss, only for her to block the attack. Weiss then gives the Apathy a few jabs to the chest before landing a spinning jump kick. With a wail, the creature is sent flying into a pillar where it splatters on impact.
"Ew!" The audience exclaims in disgust.
Elsewhere, Ruby kicks an Apathy away from her. Sending it towards Yang. The yellow Ranger gives the creature a quick one-two combo before cartwheeling towards the sprawling creature. After a few backflips, Yang kicks the Apathy into a steel girder where it splats on impact.
"Gonna be one messy night." Yang says.
"Ugh, even Ranger you gives bad puns!" Ruby groans.
Yang scoffs at her sisters comment.
Ruby and Blake flip into action as three Apathy follow behind them.
"Up and over?" Blake asks.
"Let's do it!" Ruby says.
Ruby and Blake flip over their enemies. Once they land, Ruby double kicks two of the creatures. The red and black Rangers work together to repel the Apathy. Suddenly, one sneaks up on Ruby. Luckily, Blake has her back.
"Ruby, behind you!" Blake says while pointing.
Ruby does a split as Blake flips over her. "Going airborne!"
Blake split kicks the Apathy. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay down long.
"An excellent display of teamwork between those two." Ozpin says with Oscar agreeing.
"These guys don't know when to quit." Ruby says.
"Ugh, stay down!" Ruby exclaims in exasperation.
"Double whammy?" Ruby asks.
"You're on!" Blake says.
The Apathy looks on as Ruby approaches from one side while Blake approaches from the other. The two Rangers then kick the Apathy in the face from both sides. In a daze, the creature crumbles to the ground.
"Alright!" Ruby and Blake cheer.
Elsewhere, Jeanne battles an Apathy. The creature blocks the blue Rangers attacks before sending her spinning into one of the pillars below.
"That does it." Jeanne says with a growl. "Stegastinger!"
Jeanne pulls out what looks like a taser. The two lines wrap around a upper steal beam, causing the blue Ranger to fly back to the Apathy.
"Did you miss me?" Jeanne asks cheekily.
The Apathy responds by attacking Jeanne, but the blue Ranger dodges. She then pushes the creature off the ledge. With a wail, the Apathy splats on a steal grate.
"Cool!" Jaune says. He then looks towards Blaze. "Think I could get that weapon?"
"After the showing." Blaze says with a finger raised.
Jaune fist pumps in excitement. "A taser AND a grappling hook? I could do a lot with that."
Yang kicks away an Apathy before moving away. Nearby, Neo faces one approaching her. She then pulls out a weapon.
"Pterodactyl Thunderwhip!" Neo exclaims.
Neo's whip launches at the approaching creature, knocking it back. The pink Ranger then sends her whip at an Apathy approaching her from behind.
"Have a nice trip!" Neo says as she knocks the Apathy off it's feet. "See you next fall!"
The audience, minus Yang, Salem and Cinder, laugh at Neo's pun.
"Oh, come on!" Yang exclaims. "That one was too obvious."
Neo flings her whip at a nearby Apathy, knocking the creature down a few wooden stairs. A Apathy then charges forward, but Neo is ready for it.
"Buh-bye!" Neo says while launching her whip at the creature.
The Apathy falls to the ground on impact as Neo recalls her whip. "Gotta love it."
"I know I do." Neo says while looking at Blaze.
Blaze grins at Neo before nodding.
Weiss exchanges a few blows with an Apathy before sweeping the creature off it's feet. The white Ranger notices a Apathy on the lower floor and launches a flying kick at it. However, Weiss continues to repeatedly kick the creature. Each blow pushing the Apathy back until it splats on the pillar behind it with one last kick from Weiss.
"How can she keep kicking like that?" Yang asks while scratching her head in confusion.
"Meh, some of the stuff that happens in the ranger universe doesn't make sense." Blaze says with a shrug.
Yang exchanges a few blows with an Apathy before flipping it. Unfortunately, two of the creatures double team the yellow Ranger and kick her away. A few Apathy rush forward to finish Yang off, but Jeanne comes swinging in on her Stegastinger.
"Hold on, Yang!" Jeanne says. She steps on the Apathy's heads. "One, two three, four, five, six!"
Seeing Jeanne step on the Apathy's heads causes the audience, baring Cinder and Salem, to laugh.
Jeanne lands on the ground and turns her attention to Yang. She then rushes to her fallen comrade and helps her up.
"You okay?" Jeanne asks.
"These guys are tough." Yang says.
"Let's finish these parasites!" Jeanne says with a fist pump.
Yang matches Jeanne's gesture. "You said it!"
Yang and Jeanne backflip to a nearby ledge. Soon the other Rangers join together as the rest of the Apathy rush forward. Weiss then pulls out an interesting looking sword.
"I want you guys to meet Saba!" Weiss says.
"Is that a sword with a tiger's head?" Ruby asks.
"That's Saba." Blaze says. "Weiss' sword and companion."
Penny raises an eyebrow in confusion. "The sword is alive?"
"Yep." Blaze says while popping the p.
"Neat." Ruby and Summer says with stars in their eyes.
Weiss launches Saba at the Apathy. The sword circles around them a few times before rising in the air. The sword then cuts the cables holding a large steal crate with a laser beam. The crate falls on the helpless creatures with a large splat. Destroying the Apathy.
"Yeah!" The Rangers cheer.
"Yeah!" The heroes and Neo cheer along with their counterparts.
"Now, let's go find Salem." Weiss says.
Suddenly, power surges through the Rangers. Saba then vanishes!
"Huh?" Ruby asks in confusion. "What happened to Saba?"
"Salem happened." Cinder says with a smirk. "Remember? She attacked Ozma and the command center."
Oscar frowns. "She's right. Time has caught up. Which means Ozma is either hurt or..."
The heroes eyes widen while Salem grins.
"What's happening?" Neo asks in confusion.
Neo, Blake and Ruby suddenly power down.
"We're losing power." Jeanne says.
Jeanne and Yang power down and so does Weiss soon after.
"They've lost their powers." Penny says with wide eyes.
"What's going on?" Neo asks.
Jeanne activates her communicator. "Penny, come in."
Jeanne get's no response from her communicator. Making the other Rangers worried and uneasy.
"Something's wrong." Yang says.
"We better get back." Weiss says. "Let's go."
The Rangers hurry off to the command center.
[Scene change to command center]
As the Rangers enter the command center, they find stains of black ooze on the entrance to the power chamber.
"Oh no, Salem." Jeanne says with a gasp.
"Let's get it open." Weiss says.
"You may not like what you see when you get in there." Oscar says.
The Rangers pry the doors open. The group is horrified to see the power chamber demolished.
Salem smirks as she watches the state her counterpart left the power chamber.
"Holy shit." Yang mutters with wide eyes.
"But... where's Ozma?" Penny asks.
"Look at this place." Weiss says as she and the other Rangers enter the chamber.
"I can't believe it." Blake says.
Neo looks up ahead and gasps. "Oh no!"
Neo rushes forward, with the other Rangers following her. They stop as the near Ozma's chamber. What's left of it. Lying in the middle is...
"Ozma!" Blake exclaims.
Ozma, in his true form. A elderly humanoid lifeform wearing a robe. The Rangers leader looks as though he's seen better days.
"That's what Ozma really looks like?" Ruby asks.
"He looks like... the old man from the tale of the Four Seasons." Pyrrha says.
"What's happening to him?" Yang asks in worry.
"He's outside of his timewarp." Jeanne says solemnly. "He's dying."
Ozma weakly looks at his Rangers. "Rangers... Thank goodness you are safe..."
"Come on." Weiss says. "We have to get you back inside."
"Kind of hard to do that without his chamber." Cinder mutters.
"I am afraid that is impossible..." Ozma says. "...The power has been destroyed... It is gone... The Zords, the weapons, all of it... ...The Power Rangers are no more... Salem has won."
"I wish I had a Scroll to record this." Salem thinks with a grin.
The heroes look at Ozma admitting defeat with frowns on their faces.
Ozma rasps as he takes a deep breath. Causing the Rangers to worry.
"We're losing him." Jeanne says.
"Ozma, you can't leave us!" Neo says.
Ozma looks at Neo tiredly. "You... must be strong."
Ozma closes his eyes as he tries to conserve what life-force he has left. The Rangers look at their mentor with concern and worry.
"This isn't good." Summer says with a frown.
"There's no telling how long Ozma has till he..." Ruby says before trailing off.
"There has to be something." Oscar says.
"Rangers."
The Rangers look behind them to see...
"Penny!" Weiss says.
"You're okay!" Ruby says as she looks at the former gynoid. Causing Penny to smile.
The Rangers rush to Penny.
"Are you okay?" Weiss asks.
"I'll be fine." Penny says. "But there may be a power that can save Ozma."
"Really?" The heroes ask hopefully.
"Of course." Salem and Cinder mutter while frowning.
"What power?" Blake asks.
"It is on the distant planet of Phaedos." Penny says. "But it is very dangerous. All who have tried for it have perished."
"Bugger." Neo says.
"And without powers, there's no telling if they'll survive." Roman says.
"We have to try, Penny." Ruby says.
Penny glances at Ozma. "Ozma's lifeforce will not last long. You don't have much time."
Weiss looks amongst her teammates, determination written on their faces. She then looks back to Penny. "How do we get in?"
Penny walks to a nearby console and pushes a few buttons. "Maybe if I can download the very last plasmatic morphing gem into the transport core, I might have just enough power to get you there."
"Alright, way to come through in the clutch, Pen." Yang says.
"I'm sensing a downside here." Jaune says uneasily.
"But... there won't be any left to get you back." Penny says solemnly.
"And there it is." Blaze says while crossing his arms.
"So how do we get back?" Ruby asks with a frown.
"We have to hope that the power is there." Neo says, causing her teammates to turn to her. "Ozma's life depends on it."
After pressing a few more buttons, Penny turns to the Rangers. "Are you ready?"
The Rangers look amongst themselves before nodding. They then take a few steps back.
"We may not have our powers, but we're still the Power Rangers." Weiss says resolutely.
"Way to think positive, bestie." Ruby says while smiling at Weiss.
Weiss smiles at her partners praise.
"Remember Rangers, Ozma doesn't have much time." Penny says.
"No pressure." Blake mutters.
Penny activates the teleporter. The Rangers fade away for a moment before teleporting. However, the command center goes dark as it switches to emergency power.
"Oh no." Penny says with worry. She then looks at Ozma. "Please, hold on."
[Scene change to Roman's castle on the moon]
A view of the planet is shown as six multi-colored lights fly off into space. But the lights don't go unnoticed as Roman, Cinder and their henchmen see them from their fortress.
"The villains live on the moon?" Weiss asks incredulously.
"If Ozma has technology that can transport things to other planets, living on the moon doesn't sound so farfetched." Blaze says.
"...That's fair." Weiss says after a pause.
"I can't believe it." Cinder says with a frown. "How could she let them slip through her hands? She's no better than the rest of the hired help around here."
Salem and Roman narrow their eyes at Cinder. Causing the false maiden to cower at her mistress's gaze.
Roman rolls his eyes. "Oh, give it a rest."
The villains turn sharply at the door to their inner sanctum as it opens. Salem then walks in with a slight spring in her step.
"Honey, I'm home!" Salem says cheerfully.
"Anyone else weirded out seeing her like this?" Yang asks.
Blaze, the other heroes, Roman and Neo give various forms of agreement.
Cinder frowns as she takes a few steps towards Salem. "You blew it "Queenie". The Rangers are looking for the great power!"
Cinders words and tone cause Salem to frown. Her good mood ruined.
Salem glances at Cinder. "Something you wish to say to me?"
Cinder rapidly shakes her head. "N-n-no, ma'am!"
Cinder glances at Roman. "I thought you said she was the Mistress of Evil. She's nothing but a-"
Having enough of Cinder's mouth, Salem throws a glob of black ooze at her mouth. Silencing her.
"Finally, someone shut her up!" Roman exclaims.
"Hah!" Roman yells in amusement while pointing at Cinder's counterpart.
Cinder touches the black glob over her mouth but is shocked slightly.
"Your feebleness is staggering." Salem says while rolling her eyes. She then walks towards Roman. "You obviously need a vacation. I think circumstances force us to choose a new leader. And I pick... me!"
"That fits." Jaune says. "She doesn't want the competition."
"Classic villain shtick." Blaze says.
"Hey!" Roman says indignantly. "I thought I was the lord of evil here!"
"Not anymore you're not." Salem says cheekily.
"...Did you just make a joke?" Roman asks after a pause.
Salem giggles to herself as she walks to Roman's throne. Naturally, the lord of evil doesn't take Salem's words well.
"Who does this witch thinks she's dealing with?!" Roman says as his flames become hotter.
Salem sits on Roman's throne. "The Queen is taking over."
"Oh dear." Neo moans. "He's not gonna like this one bit."
"No one double crosses Roman Torchwick and lives!" Roman exclaims.
Roman fires a bolt of lightning at Salem from his staff.
"Ya damn right!" Roman exclaims triumphantly.
"Wait for it." Cinder says with a grin.
Salem cries out in "pain", but Roman's attack just seems to amuse her.
"Ah! Oh! Ahahaha! Stop that, it tickles!" Salem says as Roman ceases his attack. Salem then laughs menacingly. "My turn."
Salem fires a larger bolt of lightning at Roman and Cinder. The villains vanish, only to reappear in Salem's hand in a snow globe of Vale!
"...Well, that's just not fair." Roman says.
Cinder smirks at Roman. "I'm sorry. You were saying?"
"Hey, you're trapped too!" Roman says. "The only thing that would make this hilarious is if you had a chipmunk voice."
"Way to go, hothead." Cinder says in a small squeaky voice.
"It's getting so you can't trust anyone in this galaxy." Roman says with a similar voice.
Roman pauses for a moment before laughing loudly. Which in turn, causes the rest of the audience, minus Salem and Cinder, to laugh as well.
"Ooh, I love snow globes." Salem says while shaking the snow globe.
"Earthquake!" Cinder exclaims fearfully.
Salem looks towards Goldar and Mordant. "Now you have a choice. Serve me or join these insufferable peons."
"...They're totally going to betray us, aren't they?" Cinder asks with a deadpan.
"Yep." Roman says.
"Goldar, get us out of here!" Roman exclaims.
"Don't listen to her!" Cinder exclaims.
"Don't you dare betray me!" Roman says threateningly.
"Uh, we never liked them in the first place." Goldar says hesitantly.
"You said it." Mordant says.
Roman and Cinder facepalm. "Fuck my life."
"So, what are we going to do about the Power Rangers, your grace?" Goldar asks.
"Ah yes, the Power Rangers." Salem says while standing up.
Salem walks to the center of the room. She then waves her hands as black energy envelopes them. After a moment, Salem thrusts her arms forward, conjuring a large black pit. The Queen laughs as she takes a step towards the pit. Said pit then seems to divide itself into ten globs of ooze before rising and taking shape.
Cinder looks towards her mistress. "Do you really have to go through such elaborate means to create Grimm?"
"I'm sure it's just for dramatic effect." Salem says. "My other self seems to be a bit of a showmen."
The ooze forms into ten humanoid, winged creatures. Each one cawing after the other.
"Nevermores." Summer says.
"Shut your beaks!" Salem yells, silencing her Grimm. "Now, my Nevermores. You will fly to Phaedos. You will find the Power Rangers and you will tare them apart!"
The Nevermores caw once more before flying out of the castle. Goldar and Mordant gives various forms of encouragement to the Grimm as Salem laughs maniacally while watching her Grimm fly towards their mission.
"Fly my pretties." Salem says. "Fly! Ahahaha!"
Blaze frowns. "Really? A Wicked Witch reference?"
And done! Another chapter done. As I said before, I was preoccupied the last few weeks. So I wasn't able to get much writing done. Originally, this chapter was supposed to be a little longer, but I decided to end it here. This universe will have four parts max.
