"What do you mean?" The confused voice of Rod asks
"There's been reports of a man with a strange but simple design written across his back, and on his right breast, strangely his outfit is like a dark version of the standing military uniform."
'Strange symbol?' Rod doesn't interrupt as the man known as Kenny lets his subordinates reiterate what they've found.
Who he's recently hired for this particular operation which is finding any and all intel that can be related to the fire incident, the power hungry man is useful regardless of the true intentions the man has, knowing how fruitless Kenny's endeavor is.
"What symbol? And does the man have a name?"
"According to the people in the underground the man goes by the name of Harry, though by the way they talk of him, he might as well be their king" Kenny decides to answer knowing those words will piss off the fat man in front of him. .
"That doesn't explain the symbol?" Kenny grins at the irritated flush, knowing the man needs him too much to do anything.
"The symbol is a triangle surrounded by a circle with a line parting virtually across the triangle" Rod admires the blonde's beauty but is not willing to try anything with Kenny in the room.
Not caring that he would be shut down regardless.
'Wait? triangle with a line in it' where has he seen that?
He'll have to check into it further, maybe the family library knows?
"I want you to detain him, without harm! And quietly"
"Easier said than done," Kenny mutters.

Harry has been visiting the underground, his morals not letting him not do anything, plus that girl Isabel is a funny thing and he likes startling her with his popping up and disappearing just before her 'bros' show.
It's fun watching them think she's crazy, though he swears the shorter one sees him but doesn't say anything.
He's slowly been improving the conditions for those in here. He's been making charms that help the woman who can't protect themselves ward off those who have nefarious intent.
Thank Merlin for his proficiency in charms.
While also sneaking in vast quantities of food untrusting the products to those he feels so honest with them.
While putting runes and such to keep thugs and thieves away from the stuff while making it to where those who run the underworld markets can't swindle those in need.
He's been slowly initiating real society down here. He started by hiring those who could to patrol the city and to start bringing order to the crime infested area.
If he happened to accidentally unleash his death magic in a fit of rage when finding the base of the human trafficking operation, well let's just say that they have to restart fresh if they want a working trafficking ring again.
It was ironically him being distracted by the sobbing women, who kept thanking him despite the horrible things he just did. That led him to meet Isabel's infamous big brother.
Him being surrounded by sobbing relief filled women and girls of various ages and ethnicities. Harry just looked at the man with desperation for help.
Causing Levi to crack a small smile at the expression, finally getting a face to the back he's always seen, but isn't one to pry.
'Pretty' Levi thinks as he stares into eyes that put jewels to shame.
Schooling his features he just raises a brow, before gently addressing the women, who he knows but wasn't able to do anything for.
"Heyy, who's the mother?" Never let it be said he's one to coddle, no matter who it is.
An older lady who was consoling the younger girls tentatively lifts her hand making him nod his head towards the man who's being thanked, he really only does it cause he's curious on what that feeling was and why there is a bunch of dead men, that is too much for a normal person to do in such a quick amount of time. who don't have any indication of their fatality.
Harry sighs as the thankful women get pulled away by the elderly woman turning to look at his friend Isabel's 'big bro' ; he debates on whether or not to risk the oblivious charm.
The women he can trust since they will have a gratitude of silence, though it doesn't help that he can bind them to their silence.
Looking at the male who has the same feeling coming off of him, that Mikasa had.
'Must be connected to Mikasa in some fashion Harry can't help but think.
Levi watches with little patience as the man gathers himself, not wanting to provoke the unknown entity because this person can't be a normal human.
Plus, if titans exist, not that he's ever seen one, but he knows how horrible of an actor the pompous nobles are. They can't can't fake the terror in their gazes even as they parade around down here.
Oi, you gotta shitty eye disorder? gonna stand there and just stare?" Well he did say little patience, Irritated and appalled by the tangled mess of what he could only in good conscience call a mop on top of the man's head.
Harry blinks at the abrasive words, but knows what it's like to be uncomfortable with attention, giving a disarming smile, almost pouting when it doesn't do anything, he responds.
"Funnily enough I actually do", or did, thank merlin for magic.
"Well I actually uh, see, I know your-"
Yeah, you and the brat have surely gotten cozy, now what do you want with her, or should I say us,since you've been keeping tabs?" Not acknowledging how much the smile startled him, he's never seen such a warm smile, that seemed genuine, well without doing something to earn it, like with Isabel.
He could go for the most obvious question but that would probably just make him have more questions, so he focuses on the ones he could get answers to.
"Ah, so you knew." Harry suspected that's why he started to wain off not wanting to ruffle their feathers too much.
"Sorry, I'm- I'm not from here and well I couldn't just sit by while I heard there was people suffering for nothing but being born" Harry doesn't know what makes him want to tell the man or even spill everything but he reigns it in a little not wanting to overwhelm the man, while he has learned to never doubt his magic the man seems unfamiliar with whatever weird aura he and Mikasa produce.
"Wha-?" He can hear the honesty in the man's voice, even if he knows there's more to it, he can feel the nauseatingly 'good' radiating off the man.
It's the kind of presence that tells you I'll always be here and have always been.
Levi turns on his heel, not wanting to be in the filthy place any longer and knowing the man won't talk more, plus he needs to meet with Farlan, he got an amazing opportunity handed to him and he's not gonna let this chance go?
"If you hurt her…" is all he says, entertaining the friendship because he enjoys the joy lighting his litt- Isabel's eyes, not that he'd admit it.
"Aye, you have my word." Is all Harry says to the man who he's met an unspoken understanding with.
As long as he doesn't interfere with him, Levi won't give two shits about what or who he is.
——
Harry sighs he's felt the presence of people trailing him for the last week.
It's been two weeks since he's started to tentatively build a relationship with the prickly short man who he's found has a serious cleaning obsession, he still hasn't been able to speak to the man or ask why he's stayed silent, not that he isn't grateful.
Just wary of the man's intentions.
Harry doesn't know Levi is in a conundrum of wondering how he makes things so clean yet can't tame such a simple task as hair?
The first time Isabel brought Harry over to their apartment, Harry wanted to give the three treats, so he went all out going a little further than he did with the others down here since he knows Levi suspects him of something, just not knowing what.
He made them a simple meal, though the tears that Farlan had when he warily took a bite of the simple spaghetti dish he knew he felt a fondness for the three as Levi shoved a napkin in the dirty blonde's face.
But what surprised him most was the heartfelt thank you given to him from the stern man who seemed so cold.
Harry now understands how Isabel could feel so fond of the man despite his harsh attitude, he cares he just doesn't know how to show it but when he can it's full of sincerity, the man before him feels so much, he has to not feel just to function.
As a figure to anyone else slips by unnoticed, Harry allows the wire to curl around his body while pulling his mind back from reminiscing.
The last thing he sees is a figure in a hat as he gets knocked out.

Kenny stands at the side by the current king, looking at the tiny man who groans awake strapped in a chair on the other side of the cadge. He doesn't know why but he feels a foreboding feeling that this isn't going to go well.
As bright Green eyes snap open with an awareness that shouldn't be there for someone just waking up from a concussion, well he's certain that shot has just hit the fan.
"So, finally you've caught me." Harry can't help but jeer.
"Quiet." The blubbery man says his chin sibling as he spits the word out, though the fear in his gaze make Harry curious, as well as the book in the man's hand.
"Oh, so you don't want to know? Know who I am?" Harry has never been orthodox in the presence of authority.
Watching as the man hisses in displeasure shifting his weight doing just what Harry wanted to reveal the title of the book, grateful for Armin in teaching him the written language.
He can't help but laugh as the title registers.
'servitude of death'
Ooh, he wonders just what death has done?
"You are a supposed servant are you not? What right do you have? To play with my kingdom? What right do you have to feed those filthy animals!"
He doesn't like this unknown entity destroying what his family worked so hard to accomplish.
"What right? You mean like, you playing god?" Harry asks, his jolly expression gone.
"You mean like, your family let thousands if not millions of people throughout history be desecrated for your greed? How you're so pathetic that you can't even break through a simple possession" okay Harry might be biased on the possession part.
"Don't speak of my family in such a way, boy"
Kenny tenses as the former docile atmosphere shifts.
His instincts tell him to run. He is startled to realize he's already stepped towards the exit before his mind caught up to his body.
The fat man is too stupid to understand the danger and Kenny doesn't want to risk his life for the man.
"Do. Not. Call me that." Harry hates the word hate being called it especially in that dehumanizing tone.
Before the fat man can say anything Harry stands up the chains on his wrist do nothing to him as he stares down the man who.
I'm the king, boy. I can do what I want, like say to a certain pretty girl under your care?" The man leers before choking as his breath is stalled in his lungs.
"What?" Harry can't believe this? He was literally improving the fat man's lands and this is how he's repaid.
"Let's get one thing clear, you're nothing to me." At that he feels death presence soothing him to make sure he doesn't do too much damage while his chains break off.
Leaning onto the bars staring into the man's eyes his glow as he speaks I don't care what you do, but if you so much as touch a hair on Any of the kids under my care well, This little kingdom of yours is all but a blip in the grand scheme of things, hell you won't even be a speck of dust in fifteen years." Harry doesn't know that death materialized behind him to send the men a firmer message.
Before Harry apparates He has to get the last laugh.
"That little book you have there? The dialect is miss written, I'm not the servant"
A/n: So, next chapter will most like be a push through time to the pilot of the series.
Levi and Harry are all but official.
I'm thinking of waiting until after the the start to actually progress it beyond a friendship.
I'm sorry if this chapter isn't the best though that could just be my self doubt.
I want to think IamTheOceansWaters for the help and suggestions.
If anyone wants to give some ideas you think I'll see if I could incorporate it into the story.
