Just thought of something to write is all.

Nepgear, wearing a speedo, smiled as she and Uni, who was wearing a similar outfit, surfed just off the beaches of Leanbox. With things being quiet, even Histoire couldn't argue against letting Neptune and her take a day off to have fun at the beach.

"Watch this, Nepgear!" Uni called out and turned around on the board before jumping up and doing a flip before landing on her left hand.

"Careful, Uni!" Nepgear called out, smiling nervously. "But that was really cool."

"Right?" Uni nodded and grinned. "When you're as good as me, you can, woaaaaaaah!" A sudden wave came up from under the water and knocked the board off-balance, causing Uni to go flying into the air.

"UNI!" Nepgear cried out as she watched Uni fly through the air and crash onto the beach. "Uni!" She yelled as she surfed down and got to the shore. Running over, she saw her friend and blushed as she saw that Uni happened to be on her knees while her head was under the sand, giving Nepgear a rather... interesting view.

"PAH!" Uni groaned as she pushed up and snapped her head out of the sand before sputtering as some sand got into her mouth. "Bleah." She stuck her tongue out, batting at it to get the sand off of it.

"Are you okay?" Nepgear asked as she went over to Uni, who nodded. "Goodness, you should have been more careful. What if you couldn't swim?" She knew that Uni could, but if she had been knocked out or caught in something and unable to move, she would have been in trouble.

Uni gave Nepgear a dirty look. "If I couldn't swim, why would I be surfing?" Shaking her head, she stood up. "Well, it is getting late, I should shower to get the sand out of my hair."

"I'll join you." Nepgear answered and both girls went back to get their boards.

They were rentals after all.

After returning the boards and getting to the showers so they could wash the salt water and sand off of their bodies, Uni, in her stall, looked at Nepgear's stall in confusion. "Earlier you said something about me not being able to swim."

"Oh!" Nepgear blushed softly. "Well, I was just worried that you would get caught up by some seaweed or a tentacle doggoo would grab you or you'd get knocked unconscious because of a rock to the head."

"...There are a lot of tentacle doggoos in the ocean." Uni conceded as the water rolled over her. "Actually, I was wondering. Nepgear, when did you learn to swim?"

"Oh!" Nepgear smiled at Uni. "Compa and IF helped me to learn to swim. Neptune was teaching me, but her methods were..."

"Neptune methods?" Uni asked and Nepgear nodded.

"Uh huh." Nepgear smiled nervously. As much as she loved her big sister, sometimes she was a bit too silly. "She went "now, Nep Jr., you need to just go WHOOSH and let the water roll over you while you spin your arms and kick your legs" and..."

Uni sweat-dropped and shook her head as she felt around for some sand in her hair. "Well, if you're wondering about me, Kei taught me back before the whole Deity of Sin thing happened."

"Really?" Nepgear asked, surprise in her voice. "I didn't think Kei would do stuff like that."

"Noire had to give her a bonus for it." Uni deadpanned while sliding the top of her speedo down to under her breasts so she could wash the sweat and sand off. "But Kei was a really good teacher. I picked it up in no time."

Nepgear giggled as she slid her speedo down her body to wash the sweat off of her. "I have no doubt about it. At least you didn't have to have someone dress up like a shark and chase you around."

Uni twitched. "Yeah, ha ha ha... No shark dress-up..."

*Flashback*

"AHH! My swimsuit!" Uni screamed as she tried to cover herself while treading water and looking at the doggoos that had her swimsuit in their tentacles, leaving her naked.

"I'd say we should get back to shore..." Kei, who was next to Uni muttered. "But I don't think either of us want any more humiliation."

"Huh?" Uni looked at Kei and gaped as she realized that the oracle was just as naked as she was. "Um..."

"Well, I guess this is a sink or swim moment." Kei said, completely neutral. "If we don't swim away from these doggoos and their tentacles, this will turn into an entirely inappropriate H-doujin and I don't think there's enough money your sister could pay me to make up for it. Oh, and you might not like what happens to you if they do that."

"AHHH!" Uni screamed, her eyes going blank as the doggoos swarmed in on her and Kei.

*End Flashback*

"And to think that was how I learned how to swim." Uni muttered, thankful that she and Kei had gotten away and had only suffered a loss of clothing and not anything else.

"What was that?" Nepgear asked.

"Nothing." Uni said. "Absolutely nothing. I certainly wasn't remembering traumatic experiences with tentacle doggoos or anything."

Just had to write it out. Besides, needed more Uni-centric one-shots.
