Saw an image of Rom in a swimsuit and suddenly this came to me.
It was a hot day in Gamindustri. So hot that doggoos that were outside for too long evaporated.
"Blllleeeaaaaaahhhh..." Neptune moaned as she sat in her panties and a tank to in front of a large fan. "The AC just HAD to go out, huh?"
"No kidding." Nepgear, who was sitting in front of another large fan in just a bra and panties, agreed with her sister. "It's going to be like this for three more days too."
"WHY DID THAT MAD SCIENTIST TRY TO CONTROL THE WEATHER?!" Neptune screamed, knowing that no one could answer her. "At least we smashed his stupid machine."
"Yeah, but now everything's gone haywire." Nepgear sighed. She blinked as she got a video call. "Huh?" She tapped the screen as it popped up while Neptune laid on her back and rolled over to the side. "Oh, it's Rom." She smiled and waved before blinking as she realized that Rom was in a swimsuit. "What is it?"
"It's super hot in Lowee, but it's cooler than in your nations." Rom smiled at the screen. "So why don't all of you come to Lowee and we can go to the beach before the snow comes back?" She giggled and let out a shriek as water splashed her from the side. "Plus the surface water is warm, but when you go a meter down, it gets really cool."
"Hot doggoos burning in the open sun!" Neptune yelled as she stood up. "We're on our way! Nep Jr.! Grab our swimsuits!"
"Right!"
As Nepgear ran to get their swimsuits, Neptune ran to find Histoire, who was in the only room that had any cooling in it.
Mostly because of the coolers full of ice and the fact that it was a hall closet.
Neptune knocked on the door. "Histy! Histy!"
"Yes, Neptune?" Her voice came out from behind the door. "Is there something wrong?"
"Nope. Me and Nep Jr. are going to go to Lowee."
"Oh." Histoire's voice sounded a bit unsure. "If it's alright, I'll stay here."
"That's fine." Neptune smiled at her. "You stay cool. Nep Jr. and I will be back soon, okay? Besides, I don't know what I'd do if you broke again."
"Hopefully you won't shove another cassette into my mouth." Histoire's voice was slightly admonishing. "But go ahead."
"Yahoo! You're the best, Histy!" Neptune cheered before running off.

Later in Lowee...
"Rom wasn't kidding about it being cooler here." Neptune smiled as she walked out of the changing room in a light orange bikini while Nepgear had a blue and white swimsuit on. "Man, it feels almost normal here."
"Normal for us in the summer at least." A new voice spoke up and Neptune perked up as she spun around to see Noire in a black one-piece speedo while her sister, Uni, was behind her in a similar wet-suit.
"Noire! You made it. What's with the full body suits?" Neptune blinked in confusion while Noire smirked and held up her left wrist and tapped something on it, causing a surf board to appear out of nowhere. "Nepwha?"
"Something that we're working on in Lastation." Noire told Neptune as she has a self-righteous smirk on her face. "Holographic and hard light technologies allow us to make surf boards that are just light and data and can be carried by everyone on their wrists."
"There's still some kinks to work out though." Uni admitted and Noire grumbled in annoyance.
"Oh, you're all here too?" Vert's voice spoke up as she walked onto the beach.
"Yeah, we're... WOAH!" Nepgear's eyes bugged out of her eyes. "Vert?! Why are you wearing a sling bikini?" The other three stared in shock and disbelief.
"Well, I've always wanted to wear one." Vert said like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Besides," she motioned to the area between her breasts and across her belly, which was slightly off-color, "I have a mesh that holds the left and right side together, so I shouldn't just flop out."
"You might as well have come naked." Neptune had a grin on her face as she wiggled her fingers.
"Oh, nonsense." Vert huffed as she put her arms under her breasts, which wobbled in very interesting ways. "The rating of this story would become M if I were to run around naked." She perked up as she saw Blanc. "Now if you'll excuse me!" She ran off towards Blanc and the twins, causing her breasts and ass to jiggle and bounce, leaving the Planeptune and Lastation sisters staring at Vert's backside.
"Considering that it's a tiny thong barely covering anything, how is this not an M-rated story?" Uni asked, her face bright red.
"...How lewd." Surprisingly, it was Nepgear who said that while Neptune just grinned and giggled.
"Well, I'm going surfing." Noire said as she made the surfboard disappear and ran off towards the water. The others followed after her.
After all, they wanted to get into the cool water too.
Plus it let them ignore the loud yell from Blanc and the subsequent "smash the boobs" chase that followed.

Several minutes later...
"PWAH!" Nepgear gasped for air as she came up out of the water. "You were right, Rom, this water is very nice."
Rom, who was in a blue one-piece swimsuit, nodded as she treaded water. "Yeah," she looked as Ram, in a pink one-piece swimsuit, and Uni, as both swam towards them. "It's been awhile since we were all together."
"Yeah." Nepgear nodded and looked to the side, laughing as Neptune, who had borrowed Uni's surfboard wrist-wear, tried to surf, but only ended up going out of control and slamming into Noire, sending both of them flying into the water. "Oh dear, I hope they're okay."
"I'm sure they're, EEEP!" Rom yelped and looked around in a panic. "Something touched my leg."
"Maybe it's a fish?" Nepgear asked, before yelping. "Something touched my foot."
"Hey, what's that..." Ram, who had just gotten to them looked down. "The water's kind of dark..."
"Hey! Something's around my leg!" Uni cried out as she struggled against it. "My other leg!"
"Yeek!" Rom yelped as she felt something wrap around her belly. "Help! It's got me!"
"AAAH!" Ram yelled as she found herself being lifted into the air by her legs while Nepgear let out a cry as she was lifted up by her waist.
"Ooooh! I have such cuties!" A voice cried out and the four candidates, who were all in the air, looked down as a large, round creature with several tentacles, held them in the air. "Now it's time for fun!"
"What...what kind of fun?" Nepgear asked, hoping that this wasn't going where she was worried it was going.
"Well..." The creature seemed to smile.

There was a loud shrieking sound that filled the air that had Blanc, who was in a modest black and red bikini, look up from her book to see her sisters being tossed in the air. "What the hell?" She yelled and ran towards them.
"I have no clue." Vert, who was laying down near her, said as she ran after Blanc.
"Grrr..." Blanc growled. "Stupid thundertits! Stop flopping everywhere and wear a normal bikini!"
Vert smirked at Blanc. "You're just jealous you didn't think to wear a sling bikini first. Don't worry, next time we go to the beach, I'll get you one for your size so you can show off your cute body to everyone."
Blanc's face was red. "Shut up! Stupid thundertits! I don't want to show my ass off to everyone and... What the hell!?" She and Vert both stopped and stared in shock.
Nepgear, Rom, Ram and Uni were all being thrown in the air and grabbed by tentacles from a tentacle monster... Who was also allowing the girls to use its tentacles as a slide into the water.
"Hey! Big sis!" Ram smiled as she waved. "This is fun! You should try it!"
"Yeah!" Rom cheered. "So fun!"
"Well, I always have room for more cuties like you two." The tentacle monster said and before the two CPUs could react, tentacles shot out, wrapped around their bodies and reeled them in, tossing them in the air and allowing them to slide down their tentacles, into the water before being grabbed and thrown back into the air.
"It's like an amusement park ride!" Nepgear laughed. "Hey! Neptune!" She waved while in the air. "We have a fun slide!"
Even Uni was laughing as she slid, face first, down one of the tentacles and into the water before being grabbed and thrown into the air again.
Standing at the shore, Neptune looked at Noire, who looked at her and shrugged as they saw that the younger sisters were all okay, as well as Vert and Blanc before joining in.
"Never thought a tentacle monster would want to have fun and not do lewd things." Noire said as she was lifted into the air before sliding down a tentacle.
"Some of us just want to have fun." The tentacle monster replied.
It went on like that for a couple of hours and only stopped when the sun was getting late in the day and the tentacle monster was getting tired.
"That was so much fun!" Ram cheered as she jumped around.
"Hey!" Uni yelped as she realized something very important. "That thing stole my clothes!" She blushed hard as she saw the other CPUs, who were just realizing their predicament. "That thing stole all our clothes!"
"I'm keeping these as payment for the fun times! Goodbye!" The tentacle monster laughed as it disappeared, leaving a bunch of naked CPUs standing on the shores.
"Well..." Vert said while blushing and covering her privates, "I think we should have seen this coming."
Yes, Vert, yes you should have.
