Summary: Aneko decides she can't keep hiding when Suoh Mikoto breaks out.

Aneko returned to the dorm, taking off her soaked jacket and hanging it in the bathroom over the shower curtain rail.

Her heart was hurting again.

Seeing Totsuka a few days ago, knowing that he knew her, even if it was a thinly veiled lie, was something that didn't stop nagging her.

For her, it was six years ago when Uncle Tatara bleed out in her arms, six years after she saw his eyes open one last time.

It was an unending cycle of thoughts, seeing this world's Tatara. The Tatara that she could save.

Everything was coming to a head.

Tomorrow was going to be a more or less hectic day while SCEPTER 4 will scramble to find Shiro and 'Weissman'.

Aneko got into the bathtub, turning the hot water on to let it fill the tub. She sat on the floor of the tub, letting the slight chill from the rain wash away with the heat.

She sat there, stopping the tap when the water eventually filled up to her elbows.

Laying back, the woman stared up at the ceiling before closing her eyes.

Events would go fast when the morning hit.

There wasn't much she could change in a few days.

Unless...

Huh, that could work.

Aneko isn't surprised when the Himmelreich is obliterated, keeping a loose ear to the ground while SCEPTER 4 is running around to find Weissman.

She would periodically look at her PDA for new notifications in the communal SCEPTER 4 mission board, since technically, she wasn't an official SCEPTER 4 member.

A flurry of events had happened all at once in a span of a day, leaving the woman drifting, and staying out of the way.

On the morning of 18, December 2012, she made sure to loiter around the perimeter of Tsubaki-mon, since she knew that the male version of her mother wouldn't allow Anna's life to be at risk.

Aneko pulled out her PDA, before calling Munakata.

"Munakata-san~," she singsonged into the microphone.

"Aneko-san. What is the purpose of your call?" the man asked blandly once he picked up.

"Suoh Mikoto's making his move," the woman replied, "And I have a feeling Awashima-san is going to do something really foolish. She did in my time against my mother."

"Where are you, exactly?"

"Oh, I climbed to Tsubaki-mon's roof a while ago. I know what's happening today, remember? Should I engage?"

Almost on cue, the Saber Squad 1 members were waiting in front of the prison wing, tittering about their orders.

Aneko watched from the roof of the building as Suoh Mikoto appeared from the melted doors, the woman taking off her saber's sheathe from her belt, before realizing that he was about to set off an aura explosion.

"How did you—? Do not."

"Sorry, Reishi-san, but unless you want Saber Squad 1 all incapacitated, I don't have a choice."

The woman hung up when he tried to convince her to stop, just waiting for the cue.

With Awashima's fruitless yell for Suoh to stop, a massive burst of red aura exploded from the red haired man.

The conjured net of blue aura the blonde woman threw out were engulfed in red.

There!

Filling her saber and it's sheathe with blue aura, Aneko launched the saber with a huge amount of force behind it, shooting it at an angle so it embedded deep and hard enough in the brick that it made a small crater.

The red eyed woman made a running leap off the roof, angling her body midair so she landed in a crouch, right next to the saber, just as an explosion of red aura came from Suoh.

Standing up, Aneko had her back towards Suoh, before turning on her heel and throwing a hand out.

Blue aura surged from her body much like the aura around the Red King did, and a wide shield stacked with several other layers sprang up, fighting against the red aura of a King that hadn't quite summoned his Sword.

The two auras battled against each other, before it drew to a stalemate, leaving a cloud of steam in the air.

Molten asphalt surrounded Suoh in a sea of black and red, while fragments of ice were scattered a few feet around the Munakata.

"Who are you?" he asked, quiet anger obvious in his voice and stance, his eyes focused on the blue haired woman.

"Munakata-san!?" came from Hidaka, Enomoto, and Dōmyōji, drawing her attention to them.

"Yo," she gave a lazy wave at the mentioned Clansmen, her hands moving to her pockets, "Fancy seeing you guys here. And, Awashima-san, get that stunned look off your face. You broke the rules~."

"Didn't the Captain say you were supposed to keep out of the Red's way?" Saruhiko demanded from the side, gaining some glances from his fellow Clansmen. As the only Blue clansman in the know of Aneko's real identity, Munakata had relayed the orders that he set upon Aneko to the black haired man.

"Hmm? Did you say something, Fushimi-san?" she raised an eyebrow, glancing at the younger man, "Don't talk to me about Reishi, okay? He's kind of on my shit list."

Aneko purposely left off the honorific and used the man's first name to insult the King, watching Suoh, who was studying this unknown woman, before muttering, "I forgot how much Otou-san gets on my nerves even on his best days," under her breath.

Speaking louder, she then said, "He might be your King, Fushimi-san, but he's not my King. He might think he knows everything, but even a wise man can be wrong a couple of times."

Spinning around, Aneko pulled her saber out from the brick, weighing it in her hand before swiftly attaching it to her sword belt.

"Now, Suoh-san, I've been terribly rude, haven't I? My name is Munakata Aneko. I'm not quite part of SCEPTER 4."

When the red haired man spoke, his voice was quiet, but also impossibly loud.

"You. You were the one that saved Totsuka."

A smirk formed on the red eyed woman's face, finding it funny that she was figured out so fast.

"You're not wrong. Yes, eleven nights ago, I saved Tatara Totsuka from the Colorless King. Tatara-san's a pretty important guy, you know?"

Aneko shrugged, "Munakata's not going to be happy I revealed myself against his orders, but…I am incredibly petty. Just go, Suoh-san. I don't get paid enough to interfere, and I might be related to him, but he is not my King."

The woman slid her hands in her pockets again.

"So, Suoh-san? What's your next move?"
