Summary: Aneko stares down Suoh Mikoto, a certain Strain breaks out, and Munakata Reishi appears.
Instead of immediately leaving or throwing around more aura, Suoh's eyes narrowed.
"How did you throw off my aura? You're not a simple Clansman," he demanded.
Aneko's smirk grew.
"Wow, Reishi-kun didn't mention how smart you are," she backhandedly complimented, "You're absolutely correct. I'm no ordinary Clansman, temporary or otherwise."
Blue aura burst from her feet as she raised her Weismann Levels just below the threshold of summoning the Sword, ice encrusting the immediate area around her.
"It's because I'm not. Now, you might have to wait for a proper answer. My hands are tied." The woman threw her hands up in the air, before turning her back.
"Ask Munakata-san, alright?"
The almost nonchalant air was broken when a surge of green aura came from the hole that Suoh had made, with an almost eerie cackle from within.
Aneko clicked her tongue, recognizing the one laughing. "Ugh, seriously!? Thanks, Suoh-san, this is just what I needed."
A flash of green aura shot out again, and Shiraki Sugita emerged, the shackles that were once on his wrists missing, most likely melted off from the red aura Suoh had used, going by the burns on the man's wrists.
Before anything else could happen, the woman started a sprint towards Tsubaki-mon, past Suoh, before generating enough aura into her legs to launch herself into the air.
In a surge of blue, Aneko's right foot met Shiraki's arms in an axe kick as he made an attempt to stop her from driving him into the ground, the man's knees buckling with the force.
"Is that all you got, Shiraki?" she sneered, smirking when his teeth started gritting together, "Pathetic. Didn't you say you'd kill my family, little idiot?"
Lifting her foot, she stepped back as he tried swiping at her, before she kicked him in the face, sending him sprawling on the ground, crying out slightly in pain from the burns on the sides of his forearms.
Aneko's voice took a sadistic turn, laughing slightly, "Look at you, on the ground like a discarded toy."
Shiraki struggled up onto his feet, throwing more green lightning aura at the King.
The tip of Aneko's boot tapped the floor, throwing up a translucent shield of blue aura that drove the green off.
Glowing violet-red eyes sparkled with humor, and she put her hands in her pockets, as if she wasn't going to bother in preparing to fight. A sharp, deranged smirk that she'd based off of her Uncle Saruhiko spread across her face, looking down at where the Strain laid.
"Strain or not, Clansman or not, you'll never measure up to my power, Shiraki-san."
"Don't fucking mock me!" Shiraki collected himself before running at her, forming a blade of green aura with his hand, almost desperately attacking Aneko with the panic of a trapped dog. "Fucking—HOMRA's Brat!"
The woman didn't bother answering, turning slightly to the side to dodge before swinging her leg into his gut, making him fly into the air.
Blue aura pooled around her feet, the King's posture loose and casual, her bangs fluttering slightly as an icy breeze started around her body.
"I told you before, Shiraki Sugita. I might've inherited my Otou-san's looks, but it doesn't mean I didn't get anything from my Okaa-san."
Striding forward, Aneko pulled a hand out to launch three knives into her hand, spinning the blades between her fingers.
"I'll freeze you so cold you'll burn, Shiraki-san."
Cold anger was burning its way through her veins, the past week and a half's stress added to the last six years coming to a head.
She missed Yuuma and his methods of getting her to relax, to lower her somewhat volatile Weismann Levels. She missed Anna, and the older woman's warmth. She missed her Otou-san, and his ridiculous ways of embarrassing her.
Aneko missed her mother, and the unrelenting drive of Munakata Mika.
She missed everyone.
Shiraki Sugita pulled her away from her support network, and seeing him again, attempting to escape custody, only made her angrier.
How dare he act as if she was the one trying to destroy the world?! The sheer audacity!
The Blue King sneered, overlaying the blades with a thick layer of blue aura, then launching them at the man's feet.
"You were a fool to challenge me, Shiraki Sugita. A fool to ever think you could accomplish your promises," Aneko spat, before icicles erupted from where her thrown knives landed, blue aura flaring out from the metal, "A fool to threaten my sister, a fool to threaten my Clan, and the biggest fool for not thinking that there is nothing I wouldn't do for my family."
Stalking forward, the woman glared as the icicles soon encased Shiraki's lower legs, the supernatural ice exuding a frosty bite.
"So what, you think you can just make me go away because you want me to?!" Shiraki demanded, shivering from both the cold of winter and the cold of the aura.
"You're nothing but a tool for a heartless King, Shiraki-san. Embrace the diminutive worth of your life. Do you think just taking me out of where we belong will destroy my Clan's spirits? That we were cowards for just staving off the inevitable?"
The woman spat the words as if they were poison, uncaring if she was revealing information too early.
"We are not. We are the embodiment of chaos and order, fighting off the threat of change. That's what you Greens believe, don't you? You don't like the world we live in now, so you want to change everything? Hiding behind your absolute defense, hiding away like rats scurrying underground?"
Violet gleamed in her eyes, before she stopped in her tracks.
"You're wrong!" Shiraki insisted, his green eyes slightly illuminating with his aura, "We're gonna break the system, and get out of the shadows! No one will ever be powerless again!"
"That's your reasoning?" Aneko questioned, scoffing, before she swiped her long dagger from her leg holster, "You really make me angry, Sugita-san."
Shiraki glowered back when she stopped in front of him, his legs starting to go numb.
"Not even going to use your saber? What, am I not important enough to draw it!?"
Green sparked, before it was engulfed in the blue aura that surrounded him.
A smirk made its way to Aneko's mouth, almost relishing her next words, "To tell you the truth? Yes. Yes, you're not worthy of me drawing my proper weapon. If anything, there's no need for it."
"Munakata Aneko! Stop this now!"
Looking out, Aneko saw Munakata Reishi had come out of Tsubaki-mon, making the woman bare her teeth at him.
"Ruining my day, Munakata?" the woman asked, raising her eyebrow at him, "Shiraki-san needs to learn that his actions have consequences."
Holding her hand out, more blue aura was summoned by the enraged King, icicles made of aura gathering in the air before she snapped her fingers, the created ice surrounding Shiraki's lower body with them, the aura spiking sharply and turning him into a makeshift blue sculpture.
"What, you thought I was gonna kill him? How presumptuous of you, Munakata," she sneered while the younger King approached, "I save your Clansmen, and this is how you repay me? How despicable. I'm still mad at you, you know."
"You've gone too far. I will have to imprison you for breaking my orders," Munakata replied, "I specifically ordered you to not interfere."
Aneko clicked her tongue, getting out of her fighting stance and leaning back slightly, putting her hands in her pockets.
"Haven't you heard?" she asked in a fake, innocent tone, "You're not my King, Reishi-kun."
Munakata only responded with his hand straying towards his sword.
Aneko clenched her jaw when she saw him move, before putting on a false air of humor.
Blue aura flared around her, circling her in an icy breeze.
Holding her right hand out, aura gathered in her palm, flickering wildly like a blue flame, before compressing into a tight ball, then she clenched her fist, illuminating her hand in blue.
"Well, if you want to take me in, then you'll have to win, won't you? Ne, Reishi?"
The man's only response was a bland, "Munakata. Ready."
Aneko darted forward, flash stepping with the same technique she used earlier.
Leaping into the air, she punched forward, Munakata's saber meeting her blow head on.
Blue auras fought against each other, neither aura yielding, even with the force they put in.
Kicking out, aura streaked from Aneko's leg, her opponent leaning backwards to dodge.
Munakata made an attempt to unbalance her by swinging his sword at her other leg, but she was able to keep herself up by quickly putting her foot on the ground at a slight angle, aiming another punch with her other hand.
The fighting Kings clashed multiple times, some of their aura lashing out and away harmlessly.
At one point, Aneko was thrown into the air, flipping back, before she formed a diagonal platform midair, her feet reaching it while she let her legs absorb the force, before she pushed back off, using her descent to lunge at Munakata with a raised fist.
Munakata then tried to block every attempt at a strike the older woman made against him, eventually failing when she moved too fast, unlatching her saber's sheathe from her belt and knocking him to the side with it.
Pain glittered in his eyes, teeth gritting together as he made to catch his breath.
Aneko held the sword in front of her horizontally, her right hand grasping the grip, while her left was clenched over the middle of the scabbard. Her hands glowed with aura, the blue flickering over her fingers.
"Come on, Munakata! What, are you some sort of newbie? I'm disappointed, truly, I am."
The aura sensitive lock at her saber's hilt made a clicking noise, and she smirked at him.
Aneko then unsheathed it, making more blue explode around her, and ravaging the brickwork, icicle spears ripping up and out of the ground.
With a flourish, Aneko's body shifted into a proper saber stance, the tip of her blade pointed up and her left arm behind her back, waiting for Munakata to stand back up, and he did, a slight bit of spit coming from when he coughed after getting slammed like that.
Aneko had finally breached the Weismann level to summon her Sword, feeling it come to life in the sky.
The SCEPTER 4 clansmen were transfixed at the sight of the giant blue Sword, nearly all of their eyes widening with disbelief.
Suoh, who hadn't moved since Aneko had rushed at Shiraki, paused, his eyes straying to the unfamiliar Sword of Damocles.
HOMRA, the gang that arrived just as Aneko started fighting Munakata, were similarly speechless.
"Well? Aren't you going to introduce me? Fourth and Blue King of SCEPTER 4, Munakata Reishi, would you care to inform everyone who I am?" Aneko asked, a smirk coming across her face.
"You are the Fourth Blue King. Munakata Aneko, child of Munakata Reishi and Suoh Mika. Another world's King."
The woman's smirk sharpened.
"That's right."
"From now onwards, you will be considered a escaped criminal, Aneko-san," Munakata decreed, "Will you resist your arrest even further?"
Aneko got out of her ready stance, her sword's blade resting on her right shoulder while she shrugged with her left, waving the scabbard idly.
"Oh, I'll come…if you can defeat me, that is," she said lightly, "No more games, Blue King. Let's see how your determination as a King holds, hm? This time…"
The woman pointed her saber at him, tilting it so the sun reflected off the blade.
"This time, I'm not holding back, Munakata."
Aneko seemed to remember that Suoh and HOMRA were present, glancing back for a second.
"Oh, and Suoh-san, do you mind you guys leaving? I have a score to settle, I'll play with you later."
"Munakata…Aneko…" Aneko could hear Anna's soft voice, even so far away. Aneko gave a short wave with her scabbard, a small smile coming to her face.
"I'm sorry I didn't say hello earlier, Anna-chan. Say hi to Tatara for me, will you?"
The woman didn't bother to wait for a response, refocusing on Munakata, who seemed to be waiting for her first move.
"For my cause is just," both Kings said at the same time, reaching for their auras once more.
"Munakata, ready!"
