Chapter 5
The petite bunny was worriedly looking at her wounded teammate while gesturing to the newly healed Tina to heal her while she distracted the warrior. The mountain of a man pulled out the [Crystal Dagger] in his shoulder while staring cutlasses at her. Before he could do anything actually harmful, however, she used [Teleportation]. She teleported beside him preparing a spell in her hand.
"[Acid Splash]" she chants and a pool of acid splashes his face. He grunts in pain as the acid eats through his flesh. Each subsequent strike is akin to a child flailing about, only making it easier for the bunny to dodge several of said thrusts with her bunny tail bouncing side to side as she twists her body once again chanting. "[Magic Pulse]!"
The man skids backwards moving his body into a stance; he exhales as he prepares himself. He sees the bunny running towards him four crystal daggers manifesting in the air and launching at him. He spins his spear deflecting the daggers that he can deflect and dodging the ones he cannot.
"[Martial Art: Shukuchi Kai]." Whispering he seemingly just moves behind Evil Eye before thrusting while chanting. "[Martial Art: Grand Power Strike] [Martial Art: Full Throttle] [Martial Art: Flow Acceleration] [Martial Art: Gale Acceleration]!"
The muscles of the man visibly pop as the spear hazes to her. The air around the spear whirred around creating a sort of tornado around it.
"[Crystal Wall]!" Evil Eye said erecting a wall at an angle pushing her out the way of the spear. The spear looked like it phased through the wall rather than destroying it. Part of her outfit gets ripped off which now reveals more skin than she prefers.
I'm already showing too much skin I don't need to show more!
The slightly mortified Evil Eye is barely able to cast [Translocation Damage] as he punches her.
"[Martial Art: Heavy Blow]!"
Naturally, this would probably have broken all of her ribs if she didn't use [Translocation Damage]. His Martial Arts aren't a joke; she hasn't fought anyone with the ability to use this many Martial Arts in succession in more than a little while. Martial Arts are quite taxing on the body, so if she is right, he should be running out of steam soon.
The man using the rune end of the spear launches another barrage of attacks at her, this time she cast [Crystal Dagger] at him to hopefully slow him down enough to be able to cast another spell. He jumps upward launching an onslaught of attacks from above. Though her attack didn't give her a lot of time it was more than enough. She teleports behind him once again twisting her body casting.
"[Magic Pulse]!" The attack blasted him onto the floor, she quickly cast [Fly] on herself.
"[Martial Art: Instant Reflex]" His falling body spins in a comedic way as he recorrects his balance and launches a stored [Fireball]. It darts by Evil Eye singeing her outfit and hitting the ceiling causing it to collapse on top of her. The sound of crashing echoes throughout the room as Maxim's muscles deflate. He exhales deep breaths clearly exhausted.
"[Lightning!]"
Breaking the silence, a black bunny shoots sparks at him, he takes up a stance throwing a strange berry in his mouth.
An unamused raven black hero stared at the dead-end this path had taken him to.
Es scheint, dass ich den falschen weg gegangen bin.
He shook his head.
He and Evil Eye split up since the rest of the team didn't show up, they had assumed that they must be battling the Theocracy mercenary. He is decent at gauging the strength of his opponents, and he didn't notice even a fraction of a difference in the strength of the numerous spearmen he had slain. He wants to battle the mercenary so he could least gain a glimpse of the apparent difference in the strength of Slane Theocracy and other human nations. He believes it would help his ...father's plan. Which is something no doubt that even he couldn't fathom.
He turns to the sound of something collapsing. It is a good distance away that he can easily tell that any normal person wouldn't be able to hear it.
"Well, I guess it's time to make my entrance."
Momon muses pondering all the different poses upon entry that he can do… it must be something worthy of the mighty Momon – the alter ego of Ainz Ooal Gown.
A spark of lightning enters Nabe's body who was already seething on the inside.
HOW DARE HE!
She might not be containing it as well as she thought she was since the insect before her seemed to move uncomfortably. This didn't seem to dissuade this…beetle from coming at her. She could easily squash him if she was allowed to use more of her power, but she has been restricted by this alter-ego of hers.
She can't understand what her Lord sees in these insects so she barely tolerates them because of her Lord's unending mercy.
The insect before her wasn't an ant and coming from her that's a compliment. This insect is a beetle slightly stronger than an ant but not by much. That mosquito... Evil Eye and he are quite close in strength.
The armored Beetle launches at her releasing a [Fireball] at her that she easily dodges and follows up by firing a [Magic Arrow]. He gets close to her and launches a barrage with that annoying stick that he keeps poking her with. His barrage seems to have significantly slowed down. It seems like this beetle is running out of steam. She easily dodges his slowed-down spear thrust and cast [Lightning Shock]. It coursed through his body causing him to grit his teeth around… an orange berry? Suddenly the speed of his thrust increased once again to a speed similar to before.
She quickly racked her brain since the orange berry seemed familiar.
Ambroise!
She remembered when she and her Lord first went out he asked her to get some potions. She saw a field of fruit called Ambroise which the gardener said could heal both stamina and health, which explains how he is having a second wind of energy. It is going to be problematic if she allows this to go on for much longer. So, she will try… but only a little bit.
"[Greater Speed] [Greater Agility]" She dodged every single jab, some cleanly, others not so much, not that it made a difference. She gets some hits in with [Electric Blast] and [Electric Shock].
[Electric Shock] causes her enemy's body to shudder and [Electric Blast] is to push him off balance. An afterimage of the spears launched at her body after he charged himself up with numerous Martial Arts. She lets him get some hits in to give him false hope – something she learned from her Lord.
Make them think that they have a chance before pulling it all away.
She was about fire another [Electric Blast].
"[Crystal Lance]" A large object lunged into his body causing him to cry out in pain. Evil Eye came out of [Invisibility] chanting another spell.
"[Reverse Gravity!]" The man unable to do anything floated into the air slamming into the ceiling taking this chance.
"[Electro Sphere]" A white light emanated from the two glowing orbs in her hands, electricity coursing between them before shooting out at the prone warrior essentially turning him into a lightning rod.
