NOTE: This is a continued spinoff series of 'The Princess and the Sasquatch.'
Last time we left our heroes, Sweetie and Lila, they were sailing off the island were they had thought treasure was buried. But, unknown to them, it was revealed to be a trap by their enemies: crook Tascolini Roach and his partner Johnny. Now, let's see what they're up to on the island...
Tascolini Roach: Well, Johnny, it's now time to put our plan into action!
Johnny: Boss, what do we do with this gold pumpkin treasure?
Tascolini: Simple, I have found a dark ruby gem on this island that, if we put it inside the pumpkin, we'll get some powerful allies from other dimension that would help us turn this world dark!
Johnny: So... we just put this gem into this pumpkin?
Tascolini: That's it.
Johnny holds out the golden pumpkin treasure, while Tascolini puts the dark ruby gem in a tiny place in the punpkin...
Johnny: Now what?
Tascolini: We put it back in the chest and re-bury it...
Johnny: (confused) Okay, what is the point of that?
Tascolini: For this plan to happen, we need someone else to dig for treasure in that specific spot. Then, the dark ruby gem would bring some people who could help the two of us conquer the whole planet! (laughs, but then becomes serious) The thing is, we have to be off this island when someone comes here, or we could scare them off before they dig it up!
Johnny: (wonders) So, That's why we've been building a raft so quickly.
Tascolini: (climbs on the raft) Yes, Johnny. When someone digs up that treasure chest, it will send a message and bring those who want to help us on that island.
Johnny: So, how long will it be before someone comes here to dig up the chest? (goes on the raft himself)
Tascolini: I'm not sure. But fir now, we need to live secretly in a city that's nearby, because we're still wanted by the authorities.
Johnny: Alright then, let's hide out.
The two crooks then paddled away from the island on their raft, to a town where they lived a normal life, using disguise and fake names. It wasn't until 9 months later that an eagle-shaped jet was heading toward that very island. On that jet was a teenage boy wearing royal clothes, the Duke of Flappington, and his pet eagle, Jean-Claude...
Duke of Flappington: (confidently) Well, Jean Claude, it took us a while but we've discovered a new powerful gem! (laughs)
Jean Claude just squawked at that statement. The duke then got out a shovel, and dug where the powerful gem was. He discovered the treasure chest...
Duke: Well, we found it. I cannot wait to use the gem to take over Barkingburg from my kingdom! (laughs evilly)
Unfortunately for the Duke, after he opened the chest, and took out the golden pumpkin, which had the gem, the pumpkin treasure immediately went haywire, and magically erupted lights of volcanic-like fire...
Duke: (scared) Okay, Jean Claude, I think this is one time I'll put my plan on hold!
Jean Claude squawked in agreement, they both quickly got back into the eagle-shaped jet, and flew off. Meanwhile, the two crooks, Tascolini and Johnny were alerted by their gem that someone had opened their chest...
Tascolini: Johnny, someone went to the island, and opened that chest! Get ready, because it's time for us to turn this world upside down! (him and Johnny laughed evilly)
The two crooks then departed where they had secretly lived, and went to the island once again, ready to take over the world, with their new partners that had been picked for them...
