Comment your reviews & my mistakes criticism is more than welcomed. The chapters in the start may be a bit short i.e. just 1500 or so words but latter in the book it's around 4000 words or so.
I wake up with the morning sun sprawled on my cold pale skin, I felt warm & fresh after a good sleep my morning appreciation was soon cut off when I remembered that today was the day when we'd get our ninja teams at the academy as we graduated to genin rank.
Others might be happy or excited but me being me dreaded at what were to come through my path, I was scared to be a burden on my team being weak & a burden at home, towards the clan was already stressful enough for me.
My thoughts went to how Naruto-kun was graduated eventually because later he was able to give the test perfectly. The only thing that made me a tad bit happy that even Naruto-kun graduated & is a genin now maybe I would get the same team as him but as much as I'd love that i wasn't that lucky enough nor did I want to be a burden over Naruto-kun.
I got up out of bed dragged my self in the shower; I did my morning routine & cake out with a towel wrapped around I went towards the closet & my eyes widened seeing it. All of my old clothes or the daily ones (except my kimonos which I was supposed to wear for clan meeting business or festival) & training or academy were replaced to new ones, the clothes seemed new & had their fresh & new cloth foreign smell, there was a note along with it, it had an sorry excuse of cursive writing will was my younger sister hanabi's. It said 'New Stage in Life Calls for New Change in Wardrobe'
As much as I liked new clothes these were not my type I inwardly cursed hanabi & her choice for this. I decided on wearing a sleeveless lavender top which had thin black strips, v-necked,with a wide black belt on it as it hugged my waist giving my curves a better shape & pair it with black shorts & black ninja sandals with light grey socks that reached almost to my knees & my ninja ouch & few bandages rolled on my right thigh I also carried another ninja pouch near my back.
Since last year my hair had grown, reached almost till my shoulders I still use to tie my hair with the help of hairpins in a sucha way that it would seemed it didn't grew much as I saw the clock & I noticed how late I was so I skipped my hair to leave it open & rushed out I grabbed an apple & started running towards the academy. Half way I caught up the time I wasted for thinking & gotten late so i started waling on norm pace.
As I was walking & eating my apple, thinking of to convey my feelings to Naruto when I noticed someone coming & walking a little behind me. I noticed the Last of Uchiha walking behind me with a stoic expression on his face which didn't seemed much to many but was very intimidating to me I shrugged it off & kept walking .
Soon enough I reached the academy, I took my seat on the top right side near the window & was looking out of it until I heard someone shuffle; I looked sideways to see The same Uchiha who was walking behind my sitting besides me although he didn't had the stoic face but he wasn't full of expression anyway.
I decided as intimidating as he may seem I will try to talk to him besides I am a genin now; talking to someone should be least one of my problems. Gathering all the courage I could g taking a deep breath I faced side ways said "Good morning Sasuke-san" softly. He slowly turned towards me his expression softening for a second & replying " morning hyuga" then turning his face to the front.
As I was thinking bout this while incident a blur of yellow came thru the class door I looked there to see Naruto-kun with a regulation headband on his forehead instead of his usual green goggles it somehow suited him very well. His eyes ran thru the class & landed on Sasuke-san beside me then his eyes turned towards me at that moment I felt my ears heating up good thing they were hidden from the open hair I decided Today.
Naruto-kun slowly made his way towards us & sitting to the other side of me so i was sandwiched between the Uchiha & Uzumaki as he sat I realised he also took up my opportunity to look out of the window while I sat. As he sat he loudly said " good morning hinata-chan" I felt w tint of blush creeping in so I hid my face in my hair & softly replied with a greeting.
He seemed to take a noticed of my new long hair & said "ano, hinata-chan long & open hair really suits you, you should keep it like that more often" lemme tell you my heart was pounding so loud I got scared someone would hear it. As I tried to recover from the great Praise by Naruto-kun I replied him with a thanks. From the corner of my eyes I saw Sasuke-san with a scowl on his face I was wondering what's up with him till Iruka sensei entered & started to cool off into & sakura who were fighting over who'd get Sasuke-san on their team.
Soon Iruka sensei started calling out the members of the team & the jounin they were assigned too. Fee teams & gotten towards some excited someone sad that they couldn't be paired up with their bestie.~~Iruka sensei again begin " And for Team 7: Hinata Hyuga" ~~which caught my attention I was really hoping for Naruto-kun on my team if it were him in my team his determination & confident would a little rub off on me so I could be more stronger even if it meant harder training for more hours "Uzumaki Naruto & Uchiha Sasuke" To say everyone was shocked was understatement including me I couldn't believe my luck to be paired with Naruto-kun but apparently I wasn't lucky enough I was also paired with the last scary Uchiha.
Then Naruto-kun began to argue with Iruka sensei why he was in a team with the Uchiha blooded to present the his own distress Uchiha-San commennted smtn bout Naruto-kun being the dead last. Iruka sensei threw a chalk towards Naruto to shut him up & he continued " Your jounin sensei is Hatake Kakashi" Then he started towards other teams. After he left class went into chaos discussing their bout their sensei & teammates as it was a break i was about to ask Uchiha & Uzumaki to lunch but the knucklehead had already gone & was now talking with shikamaru who was calming ino & sakura aa they didn't get to be into Sasuke-san team.I realised as I looked around to see the Uchiha fan girls glaring at me, I sighed & shrugged it off.
I turn towards my other team mate & asked him after few seconds of gathering courage~~ " S-ss-sasuke-san, do you wanna e-eat lunch to-g-gether as team with N-naruto-kun & m-me so we'll get to k-kow each other-r?"~~ He looked at me with an unknown expression for few seconds then replied with a 'hn' as he was walking off he halted turned & said I'll be sitting under the tree with swing & wait get that dobe to join you. I quickly nodded towards him as he exited out if the classroom.
I looked over to where Naruto-kun was before only to see him gone from there then I searched the whole class for familiar yellow blonde hair & failed. I grabbed my bento & exited the class looking for him.i found him waking behind sakura-chan trying to confess his feelings for her & her ignoring him to the fullest. I sighed & walked towards them as I got close enough I called for "Naruto-kun!" Which was surprisingly loud enough for him to notice the call.
He saw me & he walked towards be as he did that a faint blush sat on my cheeks seeing him he then said " ahh hinata-chan! Do you need something?!" In a rushed tone I asked him if he wanted lunch with the team but before I finished he was gone towards following sakura-chan again. I suddenly felt all the happiness of being in the same team as my crush fade away. I walked outside & towards the tree with swing with my bento I saw Sasuke-san waiting for us as he said he would.
I went there & sat next to him it wasn't too close but it was too close for me I like people bring kept at a certain distance & I inwardly face palmed myself for sitting too close for my comfort zone . I turned towards him & said~~ " Sasuke-san I tried to get Naruto-kun to join us but he didn't listened & went behind sakura-chan, again" ~~muttering the last part lowly as a sad wave washed over me. I heard him making a 'tch' sound then he turned towards me & said " that dobe, he needs to learn how to communicate in teams & teamwork he's a baka" I giggled at the nickname he had for him which seem to soften his expression as he turned to me "so hyuga,I guess we'll have to start communicating & teamwork spirit ourselves" I got surprise to see Sasuke San wanting to indulge in team work.
So pushing my insecurities aside we started with small talks bout what we learn thru the academy, our skillsets, our knowledge regarding ninja lives & stuff as we ate our lunch. As we talked I forgot bout the whole scary Uchiha thing & was giggling when Uchiha giving an annoyed look over Naruto-kun who was still pursuing angry Sakura-chan.

Me & Sasuke-san walked back to the class after our lunch & wait for our Sensei to come. One by one everyone's sensei came in & took their team members. We waited for an hour in which no one talked which was very awkward so Naruto-kun decided to prank our Sensei as a punishment for coming late. I tried to tell him not to but well Naruto is Naruto he did it anyway Sasuke-san just 'tch' at that.
3rd pov
Team 7's Jounin instructor finally came to get his team as he opened the sliding towards of the class a chalk duster fell on his head he looked at the students to see Naruto laughing &
gloating bout his plan working, hinata trying to apologise for his mistake & Sasuke being annoyed & doubting the jounin's rank the the silver gravity defying haired ninja finally said "meet me on the roof in 5 mins g my first impression of you Well,... Umm I hate you all" glancing towards Naruto while saying the last part causing their faces of hope to drop.
When everyone went on the roof hinata somehow landed to be seated between the boys which for once she didn't mind knowing they'd rip each other apart any chance they get. So the jounin Sensei spoke again
"So, introduce yourself like what you like, dislike, hobby, dream the usual...So I'll go first Well my name is Hatake Kakashi what I like & dislike..um I don't feel like telling you as for dreams I don't have any, & I have many hobbies" he finished innocently.
The three genin twitched their eyes towards his introduction but let it go eventually. The jounin turned towards one of his student said, " blondy you go first"
Naruto thought intendedly for a few seconds before replying with "My Name is Uzumaki Naruto-ttebayoo What I like is cup ramen or the ramen from ichiraku which Iruka sensei treats me to, what I dislike is waiting for 3 minutes for the ramen after adding hot water; I also dislike people who disrespects me or people I like...as for hobbies I like eating & comparing different flavours of ramen I also like watering my plant & read...As for my dream I want to become Hokage so everyone will have to respect & acknowledge me."
'huh, he's grown up in an interesting way' thought the silver haired sensei.
'Hn so the dobe actually has a dream' thought the scary Uchiha.
'Naruto-kun...I hope you'll achieve your dream one day' thought the lavender eyed girl.
Then the Kakashi looked towards Hinata with a his signature eye smile & his smile textured out from his mask & said "now you go, little one" The smile & the new name didn't go unnoticed by her teammates as they both saw him having a perverted icha icha paradise book in his flak jacket. They moved closer to Hinata in a protective way while both were glaring at Kakashi for looking at her in that way. Sasuke moved a little too closer than Naruto.
'Already protective over their little teammate huh, nice' smirked the sensei under his mask.
Hinata didn't notice the whole exchange or that Naruto or Sasuke scooted closer as she was rather busy having a crisis to say her introduction without stuttering or fainting. She took a deep breath & began " My name is Hinata Hyuga...What I like is..." She glanced over to Naruto for a split second then look forward & continued "...my sister, Zenzai & Cinnamon r-rolls...what I dislike is being weak or being a b-burden to my team or my clan & I also dislike crab & j-japanese mayo.My h-hobbies are cooking, pressing flowers, reading & l-learning new things"
"My dream is to become strong like my father yet kind like my mother. My another dream is to evolve my clan into banishing the practice of caged Bird seal on branch family & stop the dividend of main & branch family but instead live as one big happy family"
Surprising everyone Hinata didn't once stuttered while talking bout her dream which left a great impression on everyone.
Kakashi again gave an eye smile to Hinata then turned towards the raven haired boy "you emo kid, you go next"
Sasuke scowled at the name his sensei gave him "My name is Uchiha Sasuke, I don't like anything in particular & I almost dislike everyone. I don't have any hobbies or anything. What I have isn't a dream but a goal that is to revive my clan & find a certain person to know truth if the truth is as per my liking I'd leave it be if it's not then I'll kill the ones who hid the truth & lied." Everyone was staring at Sasuke with a scared expression. Hinata felt bad that he had to go through many bad things at a young age all alone, She then slowly put her hand on his shoulder trying to calm him. His face visibly softened at the sight of Hinata's hand on his shoulder but he masked it quickly. He gave her a tight lip straight smile which wasn't much of a smile.
Kakashi finally spoke breaking the silence "Alright, you three have different personalities I like it. So tomorrow meet me at the training ground 7 for your survival test at 6 am don't eat breakfast or you'll puke." He started to walk away before Naruto stopped him & asked "what survival test!?"
Kakashi sighed & replied " out of 27 academy students only 9 will graduate as genin rest will go back to academy for re-education before you ask why do we need this test for the answer is that graduation ceremony just nominates you as genin candidate the actual test is this one. You fail, you go back to the start."
Everyone was shocked at this but then noticed the sensei vanished into poof of smoke. At this the 3 genins turned to each other Naruto started to worry bout sakura's introduction or if they too have a test & he told he goodbyes even though Hinata wanted to say something. After Naruto left she lowered her head with s sad face & then turned towards Sasuke with a fake smile which he was able to see through.
He asked her " Hyuga, what were you saying!?" Surprised at this she quickly answered "ano, S-Sasuke-san why would Kakashi s-sensei tell us not to eat breakfast, even if it's a s-ss-survival training that doesn't m-mean it'll be so extreme that we'll p-puke" "Hn, you might have a point. So we'll both not have break fast but still bring a snack or something with us that way we won't be breaking rules & if it's a trap we'll be prepared."
Hinata quickly nodded to that & asked Sasuke "S-Sasuke-san, f-father wanted me to bring my t-teammates to the c-compound so he'll get to m-meet you all but as you saw N-naruto-kun ran off, so will you c-come with me to m-meet him?"
He gave a nod as yes to hinata & they both started walking towards the Hyuga compound.
Half way there Sasuke finally spoke "Hyuga, you should stop adding 'san' after my name were both in the same team so there's no need for formalities 'Sasuke or sasuke-kun' is okay" the Hyuga got surprised from the Uchiha because of this & replied with a faint warmth on her cheeks "B-but you call me H-hyuga if you call me by my n-name 'Hinata' then I'll s-start calling you S-sasuke-kun"
Sasuke turned towards Hinata & gave her a small smile a really small one but still a smile nonetheless.
"Okay, I won't call you Hyuga from now onwards, hinata-chan."
Hinata turned towards him with a smile of her own which grew when she heard 'chan' after her name.
They reached the Hyuga compound the guards bowed towards Hinata & let her in as they walked further into the compound many maids & branch family members also bowed to hinata to which she smiled & gave them a bow in return.
Sasuke was shocked on how she respected everyone & treated them equally despite the difference between ranks & families.
They reached towards one of the door which looked like a business or meeting room she knocked the wall on the side to let her presence known then she slowly slide the rice paper door open to see her father in a haori with clan's logo on the side doing some paper work.
She walked towards him with Sasuke on the tail as she reached she spoke "Father, as you know we were given the genin teams & had our introduction, This is Uchiha Sasuke from the Uchiha clan he's one of my team mates" Hiashi turned towards the Uchiha & gave him a curt nod Sasuke being a little familiar with the clan stuff bowed to him
" It's an honor to meet the Hyuga clan head, Hiashi-sama" Hiashi was impressed my the young boy's manners even though he didn't have a clan for much long he still knew how one works anyway the Hyuga head replied "the honour is all mine"
He turned towards Hinata she took the cue to continue & being " my other teammate is Uzumaki Naruto he's from the now extinct Uzumaki clan & Our jounin sensei is Hatake Kakashi the copy ninja"
Hiashi looked towards both of them with a deep in thought look then spoke " huh interesting team, make sure to pass the survival training both of you I wouldn't want the name of Hyuga or the Uchiha to fail a mere test" he turned towards Sasuke & said "ahh, Sasuke, if you both pass tomorrow please join us for dinner I'm inviting you not as a clan head but as the father of your teammate."
Sasuke nodded & replied "sure hiashi-sama"
Hiashi dismissed both of them.
They walk back together as towards the gate.
"You're not going home?" Asked the Uchiha "Ahh no I actually I wanted to buy my sister chocolates as reward because she completed her studies with excellent score"
"Ohhh, okay I'll walk with you my house is 2 blocks away & I have nothing else to do I'll also buy stuff I needed for myself" The timid Hyuga said a small okay as she wasn't that uncomfortable in his presence as she first thought.
After a few minutes they both made small talks bout everything & walked

3rd pov
Hinata left the compound & walked towards the training ground as she did she saw Sasuke she decided to call him as he heard his name being called he looked towards that direction to see Hinata.
He waited as she walked towards him in a jog run way "Good morning, Sasuke-kun" she greeted in a chirpy tone He nodded & replied "morning hinata-chan" they both walked towards the training ground together she asked Sasuke if he bought any snacks
" Yes I bought some dangos & some dumplings. What about you?"
"I bought some Cinnamon rolls I made & some crackers "
" You made it yourself"
"Ahh yes hehe they're not as good the store bought ones but they're okay"
"I like cinnamon rolls. I've never tried homemade ones so maybe I'll share my food with you so I could get to eat some of your rolls"
"You're more than welcome to have them."she smiled
They reached the training ground few minutes early then they decided to wait for some time & then it was already past 6.25 am & no sign of Naruto or Sensei they decided to eat their food.
Sasuke removed a cardboard box which had his dumplings & a corn skin made packet which had 4 sticks of dangos.
Hinata removed a scrolled which Sasuke eyed in an interested way as she spread the scroll out infused chakra & did a hand sign.
Suddenly the smell of freshly made warm cinnamon rolls filled the air & a pack of crackers with a bafmg of cinnamon rolls appeared on the scroll
Sasuke was impressed with hinata knowing basics of fuinjutsu.
Hinata noticed his eye on her & replied "time in scroll works differently so they stay fresh & warm for a long time it may have been few hours here but in scroll it's only couple of seconds"
"Huh, maybe I should try it too. I mean I would love to have a sweet fresh dango treat anytime on a mission"
Hinata smiled & offered him the rolls. Sasuke gladly took one he ate a small bite then his face softened into a smile then he took another huge bite out of rolls & closed his eyes which contemplating the taste of the warm sweetness
Hinata slightly giggled at this as he looked like a kid who just got his favourite sweet after a day of bitter medicine Sasuke looked up to realise hinata was still there & giggling on his tactics he had a blush set on his cheeks after he was embarassed to be like that in front of someone.
"What I can't help it?! This tastes better than the store bought ones I'd choose them over the others anyday. You should open a bakery." He said with his mouth full
Hinata smiled & send a thanks his way. Sasuke offered her some dumplings & dango. She took one of each & ate slowly as she did she was surprised they taste so amazing.
"Sasuke-kun they taste amazing where did you buy it from"
"Ahh I didn't bought it I made them."
"What? Seriously!? Where did you learned this tastes great will you teach me?" She asked rapidly as she was devouring her food forgetting bout her shyness & stutter
"My mom use to teach me & my brother to cook few things so we wouldn't be completely helpless if we ever were to live alone, guess that did pay off" he said muttering the last part slowly.
Hinata felt bad for him so she gave him a reassuring smile after few minutes Sasuke spoke again "say what, I'll teach you how to cook these dangos & dumplings & you teach me how to make that rolls & how to store them in scrolls"
Hinata smiled "I'll gladly do"
After few minutes they finished then Naruto came in with a sleepy face they all waited for few hours until finally Kakashi csme.
"You're late"Naruto said accusingly
"Ahh sorry I lost my path of life" They all stared at him with a poker face after hearing such a sorry of an excuse
"So the alarm is set for noon you three have to take these bells from me by then. Come to me with all you've got & come with the intent of kill if you wanna get these babies. Every weapon & jutsu is allowed against me.There are only 2 bells so one of you sure will be going back to the academy"
"Ano, sensei isn't that dangerous?"
" Ahh yes it dangerous little one but I can handle myself thank you for your concern" he gave an eye smile to her which caused her team mates to glare at their pervert sensei.
"Start" as soon as he said that genins ran & jumped & hid somewhere from their Sensei, well most of the genins did atleast Naruto stood infront of kakashi. Glaring at him. " You & me fair & square fight right now" he said that & attacked him which he blocked with ease & got behind him he formed a tiger seal making everyone think it's a high level jutsu but instead he just poke Naruto in his ass & Screamed 'Ninja Style: Thousand years of death jutsu' which send him flying into the lake.
Hinata was embarassed & red trying to forget the fact her sensei sticking up his fingers in her crush's ass..Sasuke just thought 'they're both baka'
Sasuke took up the opportunity to attack the distracted sensei he threw few shurikens & kunai with Kakashi dodged easily but what he didn't knew was him distracted by doging gave Sasuke time to prepare his jutsu 'fire style: fireball jutsu' he yelled, Kakashi was surprised as genin can't perform this jutsu because it takes up a lot of chakra. He blew a huge spurr of fireball. Kakashi used a substitution jutsu & escaped then used a B-rank jutsu on Sasuke 'Earth Style: Head hunter jutsu' which resulted in Sasuke's body being swallowed up by the ground on his head ducking out.
Then Kakashi thought that was enough torture on his young student & went back to concentrate the icha icha book. On the other hand Naruto was getting out of the river drenched until he saw a bell lying on the ground he giggled to himself thinking Kakashi dropped it. Just as he picked it up a trap got activated & he got himself tied up. Hinata saw Kakashi sensei near Sasuke so she decided to help Naruto first.
"Thank you Hinata-chan but I have to go now" as she cut him off
"Naruto-kun i k-know what the test is a-about!"
"Hain!? We're suppose to get bells at any cost, right? Isn't that the test!?"
"Yes but there's no way we could do it alone if we three w-work together then maybe w-we can get 1 bell atleast, the real answer to the test is teamwork. K-kakashi Sensei pu-urposely kept less bells s-so we would be p-pitted against each other & sabotage our team work. He di-d-d say 'a ninja must see t-through d-deception' so I think that it is it"
" Now that you say it like that it does make sense... Okay so I'm in where's teme?" He said after few deep thoughts.
"He's stuck in the g-ground because of S-sensei's jutsu as sensei was near him I decided to help you first, let's go get him"
They both went towards Sasuke's Direction as they reached their destination Naruto started laughing loudly after looking at the poor uchiha's situation. Sasuke just scowled but he was glad that Hinata came along so that he wouldn't have to ask the dobe for help.
Hinata freed Sasuke & talked to him bout the teamwork thing he too agreed knowing that Hinata wasn't the type of person to fool her teammate just for their own gain.
They decided on Sasuke's plan with Hinata's improvisation & Naruto's unpredictability.
Kakashi was on the training ground reading his mature book when a few shurikens were thrown out of the bushes near by. He dogded them with ease. Looking into that direction he saw 20 Naruto's shadow clones all with a smirk on their faces
"You never learn, do you?" Kakashi sighed
As the barrage on clone started attacking Kakashi he swiftly managed to dispose few clones as be was about to punch one clone he felt someone's finger poking his stomach & chest he looked down there to see a Naruto with byakugan veins using juuken on Kakashi 'a trap!' Kakashi thought trying to dodge but he was too late he could already feel his chest & stomach numbing indicating that Hinata in Naruto's clone transformation tricked him.
Lastly, she used a Vaccum palm to send the sensei backwards flying disposing few on Naruto's clone along, as he was about to gain his posture few shurikens & kunais came flying towards him with few having very bad aim & landing sideways. He quickly Dodged a few only to realise that they all at a fine thread attached on them tricking him to think that the thrower just had bad aim as the wire wrapped around his legs & body. Naruto with Sasuke came along to punch & kick Kakashi while he was tied. Hinata trying to take the bells just as hinata was about to grab the bells Kakashi got freed & grabbed naruto throwing him onto Sasuke who was about to punch kakashi's face.
He tried to held hold of Hinata's hand to stop her from using juuken Knowing it's result didn't felt really great. As he was grabbing her hand Hinata kicked him on the shin as he almost lost his posture he grabbed her hands & lifted her up like a tiny rag doll. As he was about to
throw her on the incoming boys who just got back on their feet after being knocked down. He felt a kick on his chest, normal kick with too much force as he would've sufficed the pain of a normal kick by anyone as he was jounin.
But instead he felt a great numbing pain spreading his body just when the pain began to consume him. Hinata took the opportunity to free herself from his grip then elbowing him in the stomach without knowing that she infused it with chakra. He began to slide towards the opposite direction the boys went & caught his body while Sasuke grabbed the smiles with a smiley face.
Hinata after seeing that they got both the bells went there Naruto was so excited & happy hugged Hinata & Sasuke both while hooting bout their victory. Hinata blushed when she realised her crush was hugging her & was soon read. Sasuke didn't hugged him back but didn't pushed him away either enjoying the warmth of his teammates.
When they calmed off & looked to where their sensei was, they saw a beaten up Kakashi with a pale face & sweat forming on his forehead giving a weak smile to them.
"You three passed but I'm temporarily paralysed" he said this & fainted.

Just when they saw the nurse coming towards them they got up & went to ask him about their sensei's condition.
"He's out of any immediate danger as of now, He's conscious now & so you can meet him. The doctor will soon join you to inform about his condition"
They sighed in relief & went inside to see Kakashi in hospital gown on the bed with a face mask on his face.
"Yo!" He said in a cherry tone.
They all just stood there without talking heads down to avoid eye contact.
"What happened!? Why are you 3 standing there with a sad? You passed! You're the first batch I've passed in 5 years you should give yourselves more credit!" Their sensei said
"B-but sensei we hurt you-u just so we'd get t-that bells, we had n-no intention to hurt you" Hinata said almost on the verge of sobbing.
"It's okay I allowed you to use any weapons or techniques you wanted."
They all faced their sensei & said together "we're sorry sensei we didn't mean to hurt you in any way we were too caught up with our desires to get the bell so we'll three deny our genin rank & go to academy for re-education as a punishment for hurting you"
"Nani!? Why would you go to the academy back? You 3 passed for god's sake! You will not go back 5o the academy & that's an order not as your sensei but as an ex-anbu officer & a jounin superior"
They all looked at him in awe when they came to know he was in anbu
"Sensei, you were in anbu!?" Asked the blondy
"Yes I was a former black anbu captain I'll tell you bout it all you want if you obliged to my order"
They looked at each other having a silent conversation between them then nodded towards their sensei.
"Now okay great! So you 3 passed & I'm very happy to announce you as the official team 7 with genin rank. You all did splendid in your survival training, giving me exactly what I wanted. You 3 were a little of the wrong path in the beginning but I guess the little one helped you realise it, didn't she?"
They were shocked thinking how he'd know that Hinata convinced both towards teamwork & helped them when the my were stuck.
"Naruto I must say when you came to attack me the second time I thought you'd never learn how to work in teams & I was wrong. You showed great participation in team work with the help of your kage bunshin & your great stealth. Even many juonins can't create more than 3 bunshins. You have huge chakra reserves make sure to make good use of them" He turned towards Sasuke.
"Sasuke, you did great with your fireball jutsu considering the fact you're still a genin as still may chunins still can't do one in a neat manner. Quick thinking & swift moves. I like your creative idea of combining shurikens & thread to make a deadly trap almost having low jounin skills. You also contributed greatly in teamwork for the training to be successful."
"& Little one, although I shouldn't call you little one because you could actually knock anyone down in this room if you really wanted to but I'll still call you little one. You have very sharp eyes, your byakugan development is almost as high as mid jounin; if you keep on going like that you could develop the perfect byakugan. You also have the ability to close all of the chakra points of the opponent with one touch if you infuse your chakra precisely. This technique isn't seen much even in Hyuga clan because even they require more than few pokes to close chakra points, it's mostly used by clan heads after years of chakra infusation practice & perfect byakugan or atleast a greatly developed one. You can also paralyse using the same one finger technique which I've never heard of but it happened to me so I gotta believe it. Sasuke said with a proud look on his face he wanted to smile but he wouldn't as Kakashi & Naruto will feel suspicious of it.
The blonde haired student & silver haired sensei were bith shocked to see Sasuke praise someone other than himself.
They talked for a few minutes & then they left their sensei. He was reading a book when 3rd hokage, Asuma, Kurenai, Gai, along with the Hyuga clan head entered his hospital room. He summoned hokage & hyuga head but the sensei's tagged along to know his health condition.
As he saw them he bowed towards hokage which was replied with a curt nod of the sandaime himself.
"Kakashi, how are you feeling? What landed you here? who hurt you so bad weren't you suppose to take the genin test or were you flunking outside the village again reading your pervert book?" Asked gai
"Ahh Gai, don't worry I'm okay I'll be back on my feet in a couple of days. No, I wasn't flunking outside the village reading Icha-Icha paradise. In fact, I was taking the genin survival test"
" Then who attacked you?s if you were in the village it would be hard for someone to attacked you in broad daylight & must've been serious threat if you landed in a hospital" said Kurenai looking at his colleagues health
" Well, my students attacked me & they're the reason I'm here now"
They were all shocked by this
"Which students kakashi? You've not passed one of the genin till today? If they did thus juch damage they must be low jounin or atleast high chunin"asked Hokage
"No they're genins, the fresh out of the academy genin team for which the survival training was conducted, team 7 of Hyuga Hinata, Uzumaki Naruto & Uchiha Sasuke"
"What?!?" They all stared at him in shocked
It wasn't every day when you hear that one of the strongest former black anbu captain & an elite jounin being beaten up by couple of academy fresh genins.
"What are you saying Kakashi? You're an ex anbu for god's sake how can 3 genin knock you down?" Asked asuma
"I'm not kidding, team 7 had a tough time at the start but that's only because they weren't working together. After a bit time Hinata made them realise the real purpose of the test was teamwork so they all worked together & came at me. Not only they got the bells but they did in 37 mins. I was almost passed out till they finished"
Everyone had their jaws dropped it was already rare for genins to touch the bells but to actually get all the bells & knocking the jounin sensei down within an hour was unheard of & an elite jounin of kakashi's calibre was more shocking.
"So you're telling me that there damage was inflicted upon you by mere genins?!" Hiashi finally spoke with a stoic face.
"Yes, as you can see it. These 'mere' genins have great potential & their teamwork for a new formed team is as immaculate as this generation of ino-shika-cho formation"
He continued "Not only that but their individual skillsets is almost too off th charts for genin level. You see the first member of the team : Naruto He couldn't even create a normal bunshin for the academic final test. He can now make atleast 2000 shade clones at the same time & maintain them for more than few hours. His chakra reserves are huge. He's like a walking chakra pool. He has an amazing coordination & mutual thinking with the clones with precise chakra infusation into them. He also has great potential in seals as he's an Uzumaki with a huge chakra back up. Which also means he can create S rank jutsu multiple times without fatigue he can also learn flying raijin of the late Yondaime."
"2000!? Are you kidding me? I can't make 2!" Yelled Gai
" Yes that just a minimum assumption the numbers can be more" replied Kakashi
"The second member : Sasuke Well he may seem as an emo ' I wanna be alone kid' kinda type but his coordination with the rest was just splendid. He can also performed fireball jutsu which will make most mid jounin make a run for their money. His skills will be more sharp & enhanced once he gets his sharingan. His chakra reserves too are great for genins, he also has a good chakra control & lot of potential in genjutsu considering he's an uchiha, his eyes even without the sharingan is already pretty sharp enough. If he gets sharingan & train hard he might even surpass his brother Itachi Uchiha. He has a artistic talent of upgrading normal weapons. He combined his shurikens with thermal thread which will make a deadly trap if the opponent dodges the shuriken. He got me down with that one"
" You really think that he can surpass Itachi?"
"Well what I saw today did gave me a greater promise of the future if he gets proper training & growing environment I'm very sure he would surpass Itachi"

"As for the 3rd & my favourite member : Hinata- Let's just say the major damage due to which I'm here was caused inflicted by Hinata & she wasn't even trying her best"

I called you here today to inform you this Hinata is the type of girl who will take pain from someone herself but wouldn't hurt who she cares about. You pitted her against her younger sister who for mother's love has just experience Hinata's kindness, she couldn't bring herself to hurt her & get naked as heiress when she knows if that is to happen her suster will have to bear the pain & suffer of the caged Bird seal that'll make her thrown into branch family. So she decided to lose against her pretending to be in denial about her strength & getting kicked out of the heiress position"

Her movements are swift as great as late Yondaime's. She's also stealthy thanks to her byakugan & gracious posture which people misunderstand as weak person. She holds great potential to be one of the best kunoichis of the ninja world. Her current strength comparatively is as what was of Tsunade Senju's level when she was a chunin. She's also the glue holding their team & their teamwork. In a few months I think she could take you down or atleast give you a good fight" He finished.
Everyone was looking at Kakashi as they saw a ghost.
Finally after few minutes the doctor came in holding kakashi's file he greeted everyone & started giving information about kakashi's health
"You see, his most chakra points were closed it seemed like a gentle fist technique but gentle fist only closes 16,32,64 or rarely 128 points out of 316. But Kakashi-san's had more than 279 of his chakra points closed which is why his body got numbed into instant paralysed-like state he also has internal bleeding & chakra clogs on the right side of his stomach with has caused his internal organs to glitch. If it were someone of low rank or a normal jounin they'd be dead or in coma by now but being an ex anbu Captain helped as his body was more skillful"
"279 chakra points!? Our clan has a gentle fist of just 256 palms which even I can't do, No one except the founder of our clan & his younger brother can do 256 palms which they invented in 1st shinobi war & even they needed every palm to be touched. As for juuken release through various places I've only able to master feet ones which is very weak against
my gentle fist & you're telling me she can evolve it to just touch of fingertips? It took me 19 years to master 128 palms! She's still 12 for god's sake!" Yelled Hiashi
"Hiashi I know this might come as shocking but you should be delighted that your daughter can do what greatest men in your couldn't" said hokage slowly

I'll not reveal it to elders yet or else they'd wanna rename hinata as their heiress again & make her train under their palm all the time & for the rest of the matter I'll let her take her desicion independently & make sure the council won't have my daughter's life in their palms for their own gains. I hope Kakashi will continue training & looking after as her sensei. I too will personally train Hinata whenever I get the chance to & unknown to the council of the Hyuga clan. I hope Kakashi you will be willing to this?"
Kakashi smiled & replied "I'd be more than happy to help & look after her"

Team 7 has officially been genins for a whole week with missions though their mission seemed more like chores but they still did it anyways. They'd all train when they didn't had any mission-cum-chores but they still gave their best.
They were returning towards hokage tower to report their recent mission which was catching daimyo's wife's cat Tora which did some serious damage to Naruto's face.
As they reported & left Naruto said
"Hinata-chan do you wanna go to ichiraku's now & have ramen?"
This sudden burst caused Hinata to be startled & make noise which sounded like 'eeep'
Naruto laughed at her weird tactic thinking 'she looks so cute when she does that dattebayo'
"You're too cute hinata-chan" which caused the startled hinata to turn red & faint luckily Sasuke was beside her & caught her in his arms glaring at Naruto
'this dobe, tch why would he think hinata-chan is cute doesn't he likes that annoying useless pinkette sakura? That dobe made her blush & faint. Why does she even like him anyways I mean every girl except hinata were one of my fan girls she wasn't that irked me she likes that baka dobe of all people & now he's thinking my hinata-chan is cute. Ugh I'm- WAIT WHAT!? WHERE DID THAT CAME FROM? my hinata-chan!? Arghh why am I feeling this way although it feels warm & nice. But he wasn't wrong anyway she is very cute she'll grow up to be a beautiful women I'm sur- what why am I thinking she's cute?! Oof I need to see a doctor' thought Sasuke.
They went to ichiraku's & hinata started stirring away she got more closer to the source of warmth & snuggle her face in Sasuke's neck who was carrying her, he saw her do that & smiled feeling all warm & happy inside.
Naruto insisted on carrying her as he was the reason she fainted but Sasuke denied quickly too quickly for Naruto's comfort he eyed Sasuke but let it go.
'there's no way in hell I'll let that dobe carry my hinata-chan huh-What ?! Seriously again? She's not yours Sasuke...arghhhh'
They decided reached ichiraku's & hinata woke up. She blushed heavily when she realised she was in Sasuke's arms & got off thanking him. They sat at Ichiraku's & ordered their food.
"Hinata-chan, Sasuke do you ever wonder what's Kakashi sensei's face looks like?" Asked Naruto. Be
"U-um, I alway-ys w-w-wonder why he wore mask" replied the byakugan holder.
"Tch, It's his choice maybe he likes he face covered or something?"
"That could be the reason but isn't it suspicious? Maybe he has a buckteeth or cod-roe lips?" Said the knucklehead
A chill went down their spin after imagining it. Although that did intrigued them, then they decided to see kakashi's face.
"Ah, hinata-chan can't you use your byakugan? They can see under clothes or layers right?"
"Ahh what? Hinata-chan you can see underneath the clothes?! Omg I feel violated dattebayo"
"Ne ne, N-naruto-kun, byakugan a-allows to see underneath t-the clothes but it's a strict Hyuga rule to not l-look below waist fo-r-r male & under t-the neck for women. If we're in a battle & need to determine w-whole body chakra networks then we focus on the c-chakra point resulting in the body d-details to be blurred."
"Oh okayy, but isn't having a byakugan amazing, I wish I had one dattebayo"

They discussed & decided on a plan & a back up plan too.
Hinata went to go search Kakashi sensei asking him to meet them whilst Naruto & Sasuke would prepare the mission 'lets see Kakashi sensei's face.'
They all met near ichiraku's & went inside.
"I heard from the Little one here that you wanted to treat me as a thank you & sorry bout the survival test?"
"Yes Sensei, we really wanted to thank you & we wanted to treat you to show our appreciation towards you" Naruto said with fake tears.
"Huh, that's suspicious!" Kakashi squinted his eyes on the 3 genin making them sweatdrop.
"Ano-o sensei, let's go inside." Hinata trying to change the topic. As Kakashi was walking ahead towards ichiraku, the 3 genins walked slowly behind him whispering something to each other.
Hinata used her byakugan to look at Kakashi's face from behind.
"As I s-suspected, he's using his chakra to hide his face I can't s-see underneath"
" Well now we know that sensei's desperately trying to cover his face but why?"
"Well we'll see his face today for sure dattebayoo"
They entered ichiraku's. Kakashi placed his order while his students sat besides him leaving a few seats in between.
" Well, it's really nice of you three to treat me" replied Kakashi as he was receiving his order.
The genin looked at him carefully waiting to pull his mask down to eat. But to their surprise he took slurped the ramen right through the mask shocking everyone.
"Naniii!? How's that possible dattebayoo how did it even went thru the mask?"
"Shut up usuratonkachi, let sensei devour his meal" said the Uchiha grinning in an evil way.
He finished his food & they were walking towards the gate. The genins were walking ahead of him. Kakashi called out to his students informing them bout their next mission as he was doing that a huge boulder came up rolling towards kakashi's direction, he was barely able to dodge it. As he was analysing the whole situation, he lost his consciousness.
Then the so called boulder who was choji using 'human boulder: bullet tank' jutsu holding unconscious yamanaka in his arms giving team 7 a thumps up.
Slowly Kakashi gained his consciousness back & got up as he was bout to move towards team 7 to see what happened & if they're okay he couldn't move. He saw his shadow binded with the nara clan's heir using 'shadow imitation jutsu.'
He walked towards Kakashi as Kakashi was forced to be walked by shikamaru.
"What's this? What's going on? Why is team 10 here?" Asked the panicked sensei.
When he realised what the young genins were trying to do she sweatdropped.
"No! No! No shikamaru you don't have to do this. You will gain nothing out of it but instead you'll just gain an enemy out of me. Don't do it. It's not too late."
"Sensei, you wouldn't hurt some mere genin who are just curious na? Anyways the amount of bag of chips, a treat to takiyoki for me, a new shofi & go game for shikamaru & new perfume for ino is what we're gaining through this"
"Nani, you're being bribed to help them?"
"Sensei, we k-knew if we did it ourselves you'll k-know within a s-second but you wouldn't e-expect us to ask a-another team's help."
"What little one you too? You're included in there evil plan too? You were my favourite student I did not expected to be dissapointed by you." Kakashi faked saddened his expression.
Hinata got scared & started panicking thinking that doing this will make their sensei sad.
"Gomena-sai sensei, I really didn't mean to upse-" as she was apologising she was cut off my her teammates.
" Don't fall in his trap hinata-chan, he's trying to pull you to his side & break our team apart"
"For once I agree with this dobe, don't fall for his fake sadness he's just sugarcoating you into helping him & making you betray your own team"
"You wouldn't betray us hinata-chan na?" Hinata shooked her head getting the whole teamwork spirit.
"Gomena-sai s-sensei I can't help you, I have to keep my w-word with my t-team" Apologised hinata.
"No worried hinata-chan today we'll show our sensei-" Naruto started
"Our teamwork spirit" said Sasuke & Naruto while smirking.
Hinata gaining a lil bit confidence taking her fighting stance while others doing the same so if Kakashi tried to escape he couldn't have.
As shikamaru was making Kakashi imitate his moves to remove his mask. Kakashi was sweatdropping.
Just when he was about to pull his mask down team 9 came barging thru with team 8 fighting. This made the young nara lose his focus & dispersing his shadow jutsu.
Due to the whole chaos team 7 lost their stance & focus fixated on their Sensei. Turns out as lee was asking sakura to go out with him shino & kiba came in to protect sakura & accidentally punching Lee this made lee's teammate tenten furious as she was beating a piece of sense in kiba while akamaru was saddened to see his master getting beat up. When sakura saw tenten punching kiba she picked a fight with tenten. Which tenten was wining until neji came & broke them while carrying an angry tenten over his shoulder & dragging a heartbroken Lee. Kiba & sakura were chasing them as they weren't done with their fights & shino had to force himself to come so they wouldn't land themselves in trouble.
Just when team 7 understood what the whole commotion was about they looked around for their sensei to see him vanished into thin air. The trio fell on their faces sad & dissapointed while crying anime style.
The rest of the konoha 12 were watching their weird tactics while twitching their faces.
