After she had landed back down on the ground, ace was now hitchhiking, hoping to catch a ride from someone who was driving, to get to the place where Amelia exploded, to check if her friend was okay, and also if Amelia could be repaired. A few minutes later, someone saw Ace and immediately stopped. It was a racecar with a sound system attached to it that stopped. Ace seemed to who who the racecar driver was...
Ace: Riff Rockenbock?
The lady in the racecar then looked over to the stunt pilot...
Riff: Ace Sorenson? Is that you?
Ace: (nods) Yes, it's me.
Riff: I saw you perform in that air circus show. You were daring and amazing doing those flips on that moving plane!
Ace: I was rooting for you to win the race around the world. It's too bad your car was stolen, then sabotaged by 'The Cheetah', (angry look) and you couldn't even participate in the race.
Riff: (sighs, and rolls her eyes) Yes, I know about that. So, anyway, what are you doing out here?
Ace: Two of those troublemakers had tried to break down my plane!
Riff: (shocked) I just saw a small plane explode down there!
Ace: Yes, my friend had hit the eject button, and got me before it crashed. But I'm worried that she didn't make it, and I have to get to that area to see if she's alright!
Riff: (opens her left racecar door) Hop on in!
Ace quickly got in Riff's racecar, and it sped off to the site where Amelia crashed. Ace also contacted Ryder (on Riff's car phone) about what had happened. Meanwhile, in Adventure Bay, Ryder had gotten the Paw Patrol together near the pier for that important message...
Ryder: Everyone, we've all gathered here so we could discuss how serious the situation has gotten?
Everest: Ryder, how are the forces of good doing?
Ryder: Unfortunately, Everest, they're not going well. I just got word that two of those troublemakers tried to kill Ace and Lila.
All the pups gasped in horror, especially Skye...
Skye: Are they okay?
Ryder: The good news is, ace was ejected out of the plane before those villains could catch her. (sadly) Unfortunately, I can't say the same about Lila. Ace's plane crashed down, and we don't know if she was on it when that happened.
The pups were crying softly, and looked down, worrying if their sasquatch-human friend was still alive.
Ryder: In the meantime, I got more help to join our army of heroes. (sees a pirate ship come to the pier) Here they come now.
Out of the pirate ship walked out Sid Swashbuckle and Arrby...
Sid: Ahoy, fellow landlubbers!
Arrby: Ahoy, pups!
Ryder: I told them about that secret treasure they couldn't find. That gem had the power to give two troublemakers the chance to change our world.
Sid: We didn't know that a powerful treasure was already found by them.
Arrby: Is there another treasure that can be used to stop them?
Ryder: (thinking) Well... there us a red ruby that can erase whatever trouble those villains cause, and also give us powers. I believe it's somewhere in the jungle, where Tracker lives.
Sid: Do you have the map to where the ruby is?
Ryder: Sadly, I don't even know that there is a map to it.
Sid: (gasps in shock) Well then, how are we supposed to find it?!
Tracker: I could use my nose to find it! I have a strong nose which would help me sniff out notable scents, like jewels!
Sid and Arrby's jaws dropped at this fact...
Arrby: Wait, your nose can detect treasure like that?
Tracker: Oh, yeah. I have a strong scent for glass jewelry!
Everest: So, can you help detect where that red ruby is?
Tracker: I think I can, knowing that I'm used to jungle scents!
Ryder: Sid and Arrby, can you go with Tracker to the jungle? We don't know how deep it's buried, and we'll need someone to dig it up.
Sid: I'll certainly retrieve it to help our world!
Arrby: Yes, Ryder! (barks)
Ryder: Fine, head out, everyone!
After everyone leaves the dock, Ryder thinks to himself, 'I hope Lila is okay...'
