In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger, Harold, Ace, and Riff arrived at the area where the mayor believed the sasquatch sighting had happened, a clouded forest...
Humdinger: This is where the sighting happened: Our town's forest.
Riff: Seems very cloudy.
Ace: It's very easy to assume Lila's parents might have gotten lost in there.
Harold: We haven't been here in a while.
Humdinger: Luckily, my kitties brought a bunch of flashlight goggles on board!
The Kittie Katastrophe Crew handed out pairs of the goggles to the Mayor, Harold, Ace, and Riff, before putting on pairs of the goggles themselves. Humdinger gave a fair warning to the others about going into the forest...
Humdinger: This forest is pretty easy to get lost in, so I suggest we hold each others hands so we don't get separated.
Harold: Not surprising, because it's so foggy in here.
The Mayor, Harold, Ace, and Riff held hands together, while the Kittie Katastrophe crew held their paws together for guidance. The crew walked very slowly, working together to navigate through the cloudy forest, (having to feel leaves, various trees, rocks, etc.) until Harold saw a clear clouded cave from a distance...
Harold: I see something!
When they came closer to it...
Riff: Why, it's a cave.
Ace: Thankfully, it's a lot more clear to see in here that out there.
The four people waved inside the cave, and looked around, looking for anything that would help locate Lila's missing parents. Unfortunately, no one saw anything important...
Harold: Well, this cave sure is empty!
Harold said that loud enough that two things that were assumed with cave bushes, started moving around, and got up. A long, shaggy creature, and a short shaggy creature with big feet, walked slowly towards the crew, who all panicked as they saw the creatures come in front of them...
Humdinger: (in panic) Please, don't eat me! I'm too handsome to die!
The shorter sasquatch gasped, and spoke with a female voice...
Female Sasquatch: Why would we want to eat you?
The four people were shocked to hear them speak.
Ace: You can talk?!
Male Sasquatch: Of course. Our family can understand humans just as well as other creatures.
Harold: Wait, Do you have any kids?
Female Sasquatch: (thinks for a bit) We actually do have one. A daughter, Lila. Why do you want to know?
Riff: Because... (realizes) we know Lila. A small sasquatch...
Humdinger: (continues) ... from the town of Orchid Bay?
Male Sasquatch: Yes, that's her!
Ace: Does this mean... (excitedly) you're her parents?!
The two sasquatches nodded. The team cheered, and put their arms up in triumph! Ace gave the taller sasquatch Lila's black book...
Ace: Here. Your daughter handed me this. She had taken good care of it for you.
The female sasquatch squealed in delight...
Female Sasquatch: It's our black book! We had left this in our home forest in Echo Creek!
Male Sasquatch: Lila must have found this, then had discovered that we may have been here, in Foggy Bottom! (cheers and hoots)
Riff: If you don't mind us asking, how did you two wind up in here?
The two sasquatches told their story to the crew. Three years ago, they teleported here for their vacation and went over to Foggy Bottom to explore it. They had left their daughter, who had learned from them, to help take care of the other sasquatches while they were gone. However, when they went inside the forest in Foggy Bottom, it was so foggy they couldn't find their way out of it. After walking for some time, they found shelter in the cave they're all in. They've tried many tries to find their way back to civilization, but unfortunately, thanks to the heavy fog, they wound up finding themselves back at the cave each time. They had survived by eating mud, leaves on trees, bark, etc. As sasquatch, they're capable of eating what they could find in the jungle, and in the cave...
Ace: (in shock) Wow... you had no lighted device to help you find your way out?
Female Sasquatch: Unfortunately, we didn't. We were just lucky that we could see the moon up in the sky. That's how we remember how many days we've been here.
Humdinger: I'll have to send the word out to warn people to not go inside the forest, without having something with light on them... but the best thing for us right now, is to get you guys back to civilization.
Male Sasquatch: That's sounds like a good idea.
So the crew and two sasquatches held hands, and worked together to get out of the huge foggy forest. It took some time, but with the flashlight goggles, they managed to get out of the forest, and onto the main road. The sasquatches were ecstatic after they finally managed to get out of the forest. After thanking Ace, Riff, Mayor Humdinger, Harold, and the Kitten Katastrophe Crew, and after the team told them their names, they introduced themselves to the team...
Male Sasquatch: I'm Andrew.
Female Sasquatch: And I'm Lara.
Harold: Your daughter is in our city's hospital, but she's safe and sound.
Ace: She's already been through a rough day today, so we'll go see her in the morning.
Andrew: Well, where are we gonna say for the night?
Humdinger: I have a cave that's by the ocean. It isn't foggy, or in a huge forest. You two can sleep there tonight.
Lara: We are most honored. Thank you, Mayor.
Riff: We'll join you. We need to see how Lila is holding up.
The whole team, with Andrew, Lara, and the Kittie Katastrophe Crew, went to Mayor Humdinger's secret cave to sleep for the night. There was soon going to be a huge surprise for Lila, who's at the hospital...
