After their defeat everyone headed back to S.T.A.R Labs. Kagome was able to treat Caitlin from the Mood Control meta power while Barry was sitting alone blaming himself. Joe went to see if he could lift his spirit up. While he was doing that Kagome called a few of her contacts as she knew something was going to happen. It wasn't long till the alarms went off warning that the particle accelerator was fully charged and ready. Kagome's inner demon growled when she sensed Reverse Flash nearby. They all looked at the cameras and saw him walking towards S.T.A.R Labs. Wanting to end this now Barry and Kagome looked at each other and nodded before they flashed out of the lab and outside where the Reverse Flash is.
"Well, I heard your prison transfer didn't go so well." Reverse Flash mocked "I'm so sorry."
"All a part of your plan, I assume." Barry glared
"Actually, that didn't factor into my plan at all. But I'm impressed…" Reverse Flash chuckled "...you went to such great lengths to keep those people from harm. Ever the hero, huh, Barry?"
"You've hurt enough people." Kagome said
"I know, You two see me as the villain but, Barry, if you were to look back...look back carefully at everything I've done...every wheel...I have set in motion, you would realize...I have only done what I had to do. Nothing more...nothing less." Reverse Flash stated
"And the particle accelerator? How does that fit into your grand plan?" Barry asked
"Why don't you two go on inside? Let me show you." Reverse Flash smirked
"You know, I just learned the hard way not to trust the bad guy." Barry said and looked at Kagome. "No offense for your boyfriend."
"None taken." She smirked
"And yet I've shown you time and time again...you can't beat me, Barry." Reverse Flash said
"Maybe not alone. But he's not alone." Kagome replied
On cue Firestorm appeared.
"Wow. You brought yourself a friend." Reverse Flash mocked
Then Arrow, and Shippo appeared and landed right next to them. Barry was a little surprised to see Bette was alive.
"Welcome, Mr. Queen. And surprise to see you alive and well Ms. Sans." Reverse Flash smirked
"Hope we're not too late." Arrow said
"You're all just in time." Kagome smirked
"I don't care how fast you are. You can't fight all six of us at the same time." Barry replied
"Oh, I can't?" Reverse Flash asked with a smirk. "Trust me, this? This is gonna be fun."
He lifted up hand that had his ring and everyone powered up. Once the Reverse Flash got in his uniform he charged at them. Barry struck first but he ended up being slammed to a sign. Arrow ended up shooting an arrow in the Reverse Flash leg. Firestorm shot fire at the Reverse Flash before the villain blew him away with his speed wind. While Barry went to check on Firestorm, Shippo tackled the Reverse Flash and started beating in a fist fight. Reverse Flash was shocked as he wasn't going as fast as he normally does.
"Nanites, courtesy of Ray Palmer. They're delivering a high-frequency pulse that's disabling your speed. You're not gonna be running around for quite a while." Arrow explained
Reverse Flash glared at him before kicking Shippo away and started attacking Arrow and Kagome. They weren't that surprise that he was able to hold himself against them. It wasn't long till the Reverse Flash burned off the Nanites and tossed Kagome away before pinning Arrow down.
"The history books say you live to be 86 years old, Mr. Queen. Well, I guess the history books are wrong." Reverse Flash smirked
He was gonna kill him but was stopped when a wave of water hit him. Kagome's demon side came out and hit him again and again with water that she created by the moisture in the air. Then she lifted it in the air while trapping him in a ball of water. The Reverse Flash tried his best to get out but the water was starting to get colder and colder each second, slowing him down more and more. Suddenly the water ball became a ball of ice before she dropped him down. The ball of Ice cracked open and he was still breathing but couldn't get up as the cold was still in his systems. He could barely move but Oliver wasn't taking any chances so he pierced another arrow, this time in the Reverse Flash back. Unable to fight back he fell down in defeat and was knocked out. Kagome transformed back into her human self and looked at everyone with a smile.
This battle they won, and it was because they fought as a team.
She just hoped that Barry would understand that.
"Thanks, fellas." Barry said to everyone.
"No problem." Firestorm replied
"Nice haircut." Barry joked to Oliver.
"And I see we've abandoned our traditional green." Kagome said
"Trying something different." Oliver shrugged and looked at Barry. "Look, I might need a favor from you."
"Wherever, Whenever." Barry nodded
Oliver nodded before saying his goodbye to the two and left, along with Firestorm. Kagome looked over at Barry and the two hugged as it was finally over.
"We got him." She whispered
"We got him." He said
When they depart she and Shippo grab the unconscious Reverse Flash and place him in the metahuman prison. Once he was securid Kagome had to head back to her apartment that she shared with Leonard. She knew that he was worried for her and the two needed to talk. When she got home he was waiting for her in the living room. He still had his emotionless face on but in his eyes she saw how worried he was.
"How did it go?" He asked
"We were able to stop him. He's in the meta prison right now." She said and sat down on the couch next to him.
"You didn't kill him?" He asked in surprise.
"Trust me I wanted to, for what he has done to our family but this is Barry's choice." She said
"I see. So...are you still mad at me?" He asked
"Yes." She said getting up. "And all this…" She gestured to her body. "Is on lock-down for a month."
She walked away with a smirk when she saw the horror look on his face when she said that. Lisa, who was in the kitchen, couldn't help but laugh at her brother's misfortune.

The next day Barry was having a tough decision. After his talk with the Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne), the man made a deal with Barry. If Barry could send Eobard back to the future, Barry could go to the past to save his mother. After what happened last time Barry knew the consequences. Joe thought it was a good chance so Barry could be raised by his parents but both Kagome and his father thought it was a bad idea. They both knew if he did this it would change everything that has happened. That this could change the person who Barry is now and he might not know the friends that he has now. It took him all night but he finally made his decision, he was gonna do it.
So Eobard explained that using the particle accelerator and colliding with Barry's speed, it could create a wormhole to time. There was only one down side, Barry could die in the process. Stein and Cisco went over the math and saw that it could work but they weren't happy about the outcome. Barry didn't care and pushed for everyone to help. He even asked Cisco and Ronnie to help build a Time Machine for Eobard. While they were working Stein noticed a fatal flaw to their plan. Even if Barry collided with the hydrogen particle there is a chance that an explosion could create a blackhole. In other words, they could destroy not only Central City but the whole world. So everyone gathered in the lab and talked to Eobard on the video monitor about what they had found out.
"Sure, there's a bit of a risk." Eobard shrugged
"I would hardly refer to possibly causing an extinction-level event as "a bit of a risk."" Stein scoffed
"And your accelerator's been about as reliable as the beater I drove in high school." Joe glared
"Ha, ha. Let me ask you a question. How many metahumans, how many dangers have we faced this year together?" Eobard stated "Or did you forget that was me fighting alongside each and every one of you? I have been planning this for almost two decades. It will work."
"How do we make sure we don't open a black hole in the middle of Central City?" Cisco asked
"So once the wormhole stabilizes Barry will have one minute and 52 seconds to alter the past and return to this time. If and when he does that, you can close the wormhole and we can all live happily ever after. Almost two minutes. More than enough time to save Nora." Eobard explained
"But not time enough to stop you from going home?" Barry asked
"Everything's a choice." Eobard shrugged
"And what if I'm late?" Barry asked
"You won't be." Eobard replied "I believe in you, Barry. Always have. So I guess the question is, do your friends and family believe in you as much as I do?"
Having enough of this Caitlin turned off video monitors. Now more weight was on his shoulder on his decision. He wanted to save his mom but if he doesn't make it back in time he could destroy Central City. He hated the idea but he had to try. So before they could start anything Ronnie and Caitlin decided to get married that day. Kagome had watched from afar before walking away with Leonard. She had already explained how she didn't like this idea and didn't want to mess with another timeline.
So once everything was ready Barry suited up in the particle accelerator and started running. It wasn't long until he hit Mach 2 speed. When Stein's coffee started to float he knew it was time and told Cisco to inject the hydrogen particle. Once they collided the wormhole was made.

In the past...
Barry had made it to the past and was gonna save his mother but his future self saw him. His future self knew what he wanted to do and shook his head no before getting his younger self to safety. Barry couldn't bring himself to save his mom now but he got a chance to say goodbye to her before she died.

The Present…
Back in the present time they brought out the time machine and released Eobard from his cell.
"It's beautiful." Eobard said looking at the machine. "Rip Hunter would be impressed. He built the first one of these. Interesting man."
Suddenly a metal helmet came out of the wormhole.
"Now what the hell is that?" Joe asked
"That's my cue to leave." Eobard said and walked over to Cisco. "Thank you, Cisco."
"Don't ever come back." Cisco replied
Eobard nodded and hopped in the time machine. He turned it on and once the doors closed, the machine floated up in the air and was about to head home. That's when Barry came back in full speed and broke the time machine. Everyone was hit and fell on the ground.
"You didn't save her?" Eobard asked in shock. "Why? Why?! You could have had the life you wanted. You could have had everything you ever wanted!"
"I already do." Barry smiled
This made Eobard angry and placed on his mask.
"Not for long." He growled
The two started fighting one another. Sadly the Reverse Flash was beating him badly.
"Just so we're clear after I kill you, I'm going to kill them. Then I'm going to kill Kagome and after that I'm going to kill you father. I always win, Flash." Eobard growled
Before he could strike a gun shot was heard and this made Eobard back away. It wasn't because the bullet hit him.
No.
The gunshot came from Eddie Thawne and he shot himself.
"Eddie! What did you do?" Joe asked "What did you do? What did you do?"
He ran over to his partner and caught him when he fell to the ground.
"No such thing as a coincidence." Eddie smiled
Barry saw how shaky Eobard was and none of them understood what was going on.
"Eddie's his ancestor. If Eddie dies, he'll never be born, and… He's being erased from existence." Cisco explained
Eobard fell to his knees and his face started to change back to his true face. Once Eddie took his last breath Eobard started fabrica from existence.
This is when the wormhole started getting bigger and formed a blackhole from the outside. Both Kagome and Leonard tensed when their demon instincts were on alert. They looked up and saw the blackhole that started sucking up everything, destroying the city.
"That's above S.T.A.R. Labs." Kagome said "Barry what have you done."
"We need to get out of here." Leonard replied
His demon instincts were telling to run. He tried to grab her hand and start running but she wouldn't move.
"Kagome?" He asked
"I'm sorry Leonard. But I have to help him." She said
"No...Kagome. We have to…" He said
He didn't finish as she ran off to S.T.A.R Labs. He cursed before following after her. There was no way that he was going to help the Flash but he was going to protect his mate. Within seconds Kagome gathered with the others.
"Barry, what happened?" She asked
"I'm afraid the accretion disc has already assembled." Stein explained
"What?" Joe asked
"Diffused material that's in orbital motion around the singularity." Stein said
"What does that mean?" Cailtin asked
"We have to disrupt the motion." Barry said "Basically, it's just like the tornado only upside down and bigger."
"Not to mention scarier." Kagome muttered
"Barry that event has an energy level of at least 6.7 teraelectron-volts. It cannot be stopped." Stein said
"We have to try." Barry replied
Barry masked up and Kagome transformed into her before the two headed off in top speed. They ran up a building before jumping on things before running in the opposite direction the blackhole motion was going in. Then minutes later they saw Ronnie and Stein in their Firestorm form. It didn't take them long to know what they were planning. Barry pleaded for him not too but Ronnie did what he thought was right and destroyed himself. The energy he formed was enough to destroy the blackhole and save the city. While the two fell they could only see Stein's body falling from the sky so Barry grabbed him. Seeing his mate in danger Leonard quickly jumped from pieces of buildings to catch her while Barry used his speed to stop himself.
"Baby? Baby? Are you okay?" Leonard asked as he checked her over.
"Yeah. I'm fine." She smiled
"Why did I fall for a hero?" He joked
"Many people are asking why I fell for a bad guy." She smiled "I guess opposites people really do attract each other."
He just huffed with a smile before picking her up bridal style.
"Let's go home. I think we could use a vacation." He said
