A/N: Season 2
Many months have passed since the blackhole happened and the fox couple have been all over the country. Either doing a job or on vacation to relax. She only came back to Central City today because Barry had finally called after all this time to tell her some great news. Turns out that Harrison Wells a.k.a who was Eobard Thawne left a a video will for Barry, confessing to his mothers murder. So she waited at Joes' house with everyone waiting for Barry to bring Henry over to celebrate his freedom. When he arrived Kagome couldn't stop crying as she gave him a tight hug. She was happy that Barry got his dad back but sadly he wasn't planning on staying for long. After what had happened, not only did he not want to be a distraction for Barry but also he wanted to start a new life somewhere new. When she and Barry took him to the station she left too as she needed to get back to her mate.
After a few more weeks had passed and Kagome had just returned to the states from Japan. Knowing that her mate and his team were in Central City again she went to their apartment. Before she could sense or defend herself, something knocked her out. When she woke up the priestess had a monster headache. She looked at herself over, nothing but a bump on the back of her head. Then she checked her purse and saw nothing was taken. After checking that the apartment was empty and safe she locked and placed Sutras around for safety reasons. She had tried calling Leonards phone but there were no answers. Kagome waited there all night and still had no call or anything from Leonard. This worried her. It wasn't until Lisa called and explained what had happened.
Turns out, she, Leonard and Mick were robbing tracks and someone knocked her and Mick out. When she came to, she saw someone hauling Leonard in the back of a van. She was knocked out a few minutes later and she was by herself as Mick had left with the loot.
Since Kagome couldn't sense him anywhere she and Lisa believed that they needed help. So they looked for Barry and Cisco. It didn't take long as they found them with the rest of the gang at their old coffee shop hangout. When they weren't paying attention the two women walked over to them and Lisa accidently bumped into Cisco.
"Oh. I'm so sorry." He said
"Don't apologize. You can bump into me any day, Cisco." Lisa smiled
"Hello guys." Kagome said
"Kagome and Lisa Snart. In the same place together. That can't be good." Cisco said "What are you two and Captain Cold holding up coffee shops now?"
"We need the Flash's help." Kagome said, glancing over at Barry. "Leonard's been kidnapped."
Seeing that Kagome was being serious they decided to meet them at S.T.A.R Labs. When they got there Kagome nearly laughed as Barry was suited up. She really didn't see the point as Lisa wasn't dumb and could put two and two together.
"All right, so you really want us to just believe that Captain Cold was kidnapped?" Barry asked
"I saw it happen." Lisa said "Last night, Lenny, me and Mick were knocking over the cashier's cage at Central City Racetrack."
"Does it physically pain your family not to rob people?" Caitlin asked
"I never finished the job." Lisa said "Well, after Mick torched through the side entrance, I looked back for Lenny, and saw him getting thrown into the back of a van."
"And you?" Barry asked
"I just got back from another business trip from Japan. You can call Shippo and Sessohmaru if you don't believe me." Kagome replied "When I was at our apartment, I was knocked out too. Surprising before Leonard was taken."
"And you didn't think of calling the cops?" Barry glared
"And bring them to the apartment where Captain Cold stays, I don't think so." She said "Besides a bump to my head, nothing was taken."
"Okay then why didn't you and Mick follow? He asked Lisa.
"I would have. Someone hit me from behind and knocked me out. When I came to, Lenny was gone and Mick had already made off with the cash." Lisa replied
"How do we know this isn't some kind of a trap?" Caitlin glared
"Because even I can't sense him. I can't sense his scent or his aura anywhere." Kagome said
This caused Caitlin to melt down her coldness as she knew this was hurting Kagome. She knew that if she couldn't sense Leonard anywhere that was a bad sign.
"I know he's not dead. I could feel it but something is stopping us from finding him." Kagome said
She was feeling so emotional right now and she didn't know why. So she excuses herself. This made the gang worried and a bit confused as they never saw Kagome act like this.
"She's been a little emotional lately. Now, as you would recall, you owe Lenny a favor for saving your life." Lisa said to the Flash. "Time to make good on that debt, Flash."
"I do not like her." Caitlin said before checking on Kagome.
"Yeah, but they do make a point." Cisco added
Barry looked at him in disbelief.
"What? We should at least hear them out. Right? If Kagome can't find him then that's bad." He said
"Even if I wanted to help, how are we supposed to find him?" Barry asked
"Not a problem. See, when I rebuilt the cold gun, I didn't have time to place a tracker on it. So I devised a method of locating it by borrowing some military technology." Cisco said and showed them to his computer.
"See, the gun works the same as thermal imaging, only instead of infrared heat signatures, it's looking for ultraviolet cold signatures. Whoa, look at that. The gun's UV thermal reading was last picked up at 5th and Hoyt. Eight minutes ago."
"All right. Let's see if you're a liar." Barry said, looking at Lisa.

He hurried to the place where Cisco told him to go and he quickly spotted Leonard.
"Snart." He whispered
Leonard didn't look fazed by his appearance and just mockly whispered back his name.
"Are you okay?" Barry asked
"Peachy." Snart shrugged
"Okay. Uh, I'm supposed to be here to rescue you." Barry explained
"That's not necessary." Snart said as he picked up some blueprints. "You can speed along now."
"Look, Snart, if these guys are making you do this…" Barry said
He stopped when Leonards eyes glowed bright red for a second.
"No one makes me do anything." He glared
"Then why does Kagome and your sister think you've been kidnapped?" Barry asked
He got distracted when he heard a noise from the back and that's when Leonard used his cold gun and frozed his feet to the chest.
"What's taking so long?"
"I got held up." Leonard said
Barry said an old man in his mid 60's coming out of the back area and walking towards them.
"Always the excuse with you." The man said and then smirked at the sight of the Flash. "Look at that. I didn't think you had it in you, son."
"Thanks, dad." Leonard said
Barry's eyes widened at the news.
"Come on. We're behind schedule." Snarts' dad said before leaving.
"You know what they say. "Live fast, die young." Leonard darkly smirked as he left too.
Once he knew they were gone Barry called Cisco for help and suddenly his body suit let out some heat that melted the ice. Then he hurried back to the lab and told Kagome and Lisa that Leonard was doing a job for their father. The two women looked at each other with worried eyes as they knew Leonard would team up with his father.
"No, Lenny would never do that." Lisa said
"Oh, just like he would never try and kill the Flash with his cold gun." Caitlin said sarcastically.
"Enough of your coldness Caitlin, I'm already sick of it. Are you sure it was his father?" Kagome asked, "He's supposed to be in my brother's prison."
Cisco quickly looked up Leonard's and Lisa's father and brought out his photo on screen.
"That's him." Barry said
"Lewis Snart. Convicted of larceny, armed robbery, aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon." Caitlin read.
"You have to believe me. Lenny would never work with him." Lisa said "He's a bad guy."
"You and your entire family are criminals." Caitlin glared "Why should we trust anything you say?"
Seeing that none of them were gonna believe her, Lisa showed the scar on her shoulder.
"I didn't get this scar being a criminal. I got it from being a daughter." She said coldly.
This seems to have caught their attention and Kagome knew that they were regretting their words. Sensing tears coming out Lisa walked away so she wouldn't show her vulnerable side. Kagome was about to go and comfort her sister in law but Cisco went to do it instead.
"Feel happy you two." Kagome glared
She was gonna lash out on them but her stomach was turning again. So she hurried off to throw up. Barry followed after her as he was worried for her. He found her in the bathroom throwing up her meal from this afternoon.
"How long have you been sick?" He asked
"It just happened after I got off the plane." She groaned
"You don't think...you might be...pregnant." He asked
She wasn't sure but it did explain why she has been very emotional lately. So she had gone to get a few pregnancy tests just to make sure if she was. When she came back all the tests said that they were all positive. Seeing gave Barry another reason to push him to find Leonard again. He may not like him but knew no child should be without a father in their life. So he had left to find Leonard again and found him eating at the Devil and Saint bar.
"Back from the dead so soon, Barry?" Leonard said "Pass me the salt."
"Don't spill. It's bad luck." Barry said after passing the salt.
Leonard ended up just slamming the salt on the table to make it spill.
"Why are you working with Lewis?" Barry asked, "Lisa told us you hate him."
"Things are...complicated with family, as you know with your own parents, hmm?" Leonard said
"Tell me what's going on." Barry replied "Let me help you."
"Don't waste your time trying to save people who don't want to be saved." Leonard said
"Yeah, well maybe it's not just about you, all right?" Barry said "I'm betting whatever you two are up to, innocent people are gonna get hurt."
"Don't worry, I remember our deal." Leonard sighed in annoyance. "You leave me alone, I make sure no one dies."
"All right. You're a criminal, Snart, but you live by a code. It sounds to me like Lewis doesn't, like he won't care if people die." Barry said "That's why I can't leave this alone."
"Then everyone will know who The Flash is under that mask." Leonard threatened.
"I don't care. I will take you down anyway. Both of you." Barry warned
Leonard just looked at him with emotion on face and was about to leave.
"Kagomes pregnant." Barry said "You're really gonna leave her and your child when locked again?"
Leonard said nothing and just left but Barry saw the fear in his eyes. He would have gone back to tell Kagome but Joe called him to come over.

After making sure he wasn't being followed Leonard headed back to his dad's hideout. Hearing that Kagome was pregnant with his child made his heart burst with joy and worried at the same time. Not because he would think he would be a failure as a father but for another reason. His old man was talking about the plan when he came in.
"We make our move at 9:00." Lewis said "That's when the cleaning crews go in and the daytime shift leaves. Now we'll go up in the service elevator to the 27th floor. They got a two-man team of armed guards working the 27th through 29th floor, but if we time it perfectly with their shift change, we should be able to get in and out."
"And if the timing doesn't work out?" Leonard asked
"Then those guards don't make it home." Lewis coldly said
"But if we start on the top floor, there's a service elevator that will…" Leonard said but was cut off.
"Son, you and I both know that there's casualties in this line of work." Lewis said
He tried to place a hand on son's shoulder but Leonard took a step back, nearly growling. Hearing this, Lewis decided to drop it and talk to his old partner about his part of the plan.
"Rutenberg, you're the tech guy. Did you find a solution for the vault hallway?" He asked
"Not yet." Rutenberg said "That Draycon System keypad's gonna be a problem."
Lewis let out a disappointed chuckle and Leonard about his part.
"You gonna disappoint me too, or is that human freeze gun of yours gonna look after the power source for the laser grid?"
"It's a cold gun, and yes, but I have a better way to get past the lasers." Leonard glared
"That gun is the only reason you're here, so shut up before I make you…" Rutenberg argued
Lewis ended up taking a device out and when he pressed a button the man stopped talking and grabbed his head. Leonard watched with fear in his eyes as Lewis pressed another button and the mans' head exploded. This is why had to work with his dad.
This was fate that awaited the two people he loved dearly if he failed.

The next day Barry and Joe were called to the scene. Patty, the new officer on Joes' team and a few others were there waiting for them. She showed them the truck and revealed the body that had no head. This was a new one for them.
"Oh. Decapitation." Barry muttered "Yikes."
"We're still recovering parts of the head, so the ID is taking a little longer than normal." Patty said
She let out a little scream when she thought she stepped on a body part but it turned out to be nothing. Barry walked over to the body to see what he could make out of it.
"Doesn't look like the head was sliced off with any weapon I'm familiar with, and I'm familiar with most weapons." She explained to Barry.
"Yeah, you're right." He muttered "The perforation around the neck...it's too jagged. It's almost like the head was blown off."
"Like a meta-human who can explode heads, right?" She asked
"Not necessarily." He said
He took a device to see if there were any traces of the materials that were used for this.
"Traces of thermite." He said
"Bomb residue?" She asked
Barry nodded.
"But then why wasn't the rest of the body blown apart?" She asked
"I don't know." He muttered
"The victim is David Rutenberg, security systems expert, and guess who's on his list of known associates." Joe said, as he walked back over to them with the files that he got. "Lewis Snart."
"Lewis Snart." Patty asked "Isn't he related to Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold?"
"Please don't call him that." Joe said
Once Barry was able to put everything together he pulled Joe aside to give him his theory.
"I think this guy is part of Snar's crew." Barry whispered
"So Snart put a bomb in him to keep him in line?" Joe asked
"No, Snart wouldn't do that, but his father would." Barry said
"So Lewis is killing people, and Snart's still working with him?" Joe said in disbelief "What happened with the deal you had?"
"Maybe he doesn't have a choice." Barry said
"So you think Lewis put a bomb in his own son to force him to pull off a heist?" Joe asked
"Snart still wouldn't do it. He's a demon. He'd dig the bomb out of his own head if he had to." Barry said
"So it must be something else that Snart cares about." Joe said
"The only ones Snart cares about are his sister and Kagome, who is carrying his baby." Barry stated.
