Barry had quickly called Kagome and told her that she and Lisa needed to head back to the Lab quickly. He didn't want to worry her just yet and wanted to make sure first. They got to the lab and Cisco checked them for the same thermites around their necks. Lisa was okay but when they checked Kagome the computers started to beep.
"Oh boy." Cisco gasped
"What is it?" Kagome asked
"Kagome, there are traces of thermite on your skin." Caitlin said, with worryness in her tone.
"Thermite?" Kagome said
"Like an explosive?" Lisa asked
"Not like an explosive." Caitlin said tensely.
"It's a bomb." Cisco said bluntly.
Both Lisa and Caitlin looked at him with disbelief.
"When you were knocked out, Leonards' dad must have injected you with it." He said
Barry came a little while ago with his suit on and had a plan. He and Caitlin believed that they could surgically remove it but Cisco quickly stopped them.
"This is a really concentrated bomb. It's gonna combust if it's exposed to magnetic friction and an oxidant."
That made Barry and Caitlin both back away.
"What's he talking about?" Lisa asked
"Air. The bomb will explode if it comes in contact with air." Kagome explained
"Don't worry, Kagome. We're gonna find another way to get it out." Barry said
"Scientific minds. Can we confer, please." Cisco said
Barry and Caitlin followed Cisco to his lab and tried to think of ideas. Caitlin asked if the Flash could use his speed to extract the bomb but Cisco thought it was too risky. While he was trying work it out Barry knew that they also needed to keep track of Lewis so he dosen't armed the bomb. He knew that Lewis must be looking for a new tech guy and thought he could go undercover. Even Kagome thought it was a bad idea as Lewis is a fox demon, who would be able to smell his lie. Not to mention that older demons like Lewis don't normally trust humans. The human he must have worked before must have earned his trust in some way. So to help him she created an enchanted necklace that would make him smell and look like a fox demon. It was a long shot but it was the only way it seemed. When he was ready he headed out and with Cisco's help he was able to find Lewis's hideout. Leonard was cleaning his cold gun when he sensed him.
"These visits are getting old. And why do you suddenly smell like a…" He said and turned around with a brow raised. "I'm guessing this is my mate's work."
"Third time's a charm." Barry shrugged
"I told you, I don't need saving." Leonard said with his gun up and ready.
"But Kagome does. I know your dad put a bomb in Lisa." Barry said "You mate, my cousin is in danger. Your unborn child is in danger. Lewis told you he'd kill her if you didn't help him, right? Look, don't worry. My team's working on a way to remove the bomb."
"I hope you got that gun of yours ready to blast 'cause…" Lewis said as he came in.
He stopped when he was Barry and walked over as he sized him up.
"Who the hell is this?" He asked
"Um, Lenny said you needed new tech. What's up, I'm Sam, so…" Barry lied and went to shake his head.
Lewis didn't shake his hand and just let out a chuckle at the sight of Barry.
"You're telling me you think this kit can crack a Draycon keypad?" He said to Leonard.
"Well, I did help Snart steal the Kahndaq Dynasty Diamond from Central City Museum last year." Barry said "That was locked up behind an AmerTek Industries Phase Three Suppression Door with a Draycon XL-1218 keypad."
This got Lewis's attention. Leonard had to give Barry his props for saying that lie so easily.
"Couldn't have done it without him." Leonard said
"Draycon's my jam." Barry smirked
Lewis just smiled before dropping it and got close. Barry saw that he was silently smelling him. He believed to make sure that he was a demon or telling the truth.
"Okay, Sam. Let's go." He said
"Right now?" Barry asked
"You got a problem with that?" Lewis asked
"No. All good. Can't wait." Barry said
When Lewis left Barry looked over at Leonard nervously as he wasn't expecting this this early. Leonard just smiled and followed after his father with his cold gun. So they got in Lewis's van headed to the garage of the building. They had suited up and grabbed the maintenance supplies before entering the building.
"You watching the Diamonds game?" Lewis asked the security guards.
"Yeah. The Salamanders are killing 'em." Security guard one said "IDs."
The three handed them their fake IDs.
"What floor are you going to?" Security guard two asked
"27th." Lewis said
The second security guard scanned one of the badges but it wouldn't scan. He tried one more time before scanning the other ones but again nothing. Lewis noticed this and was about to grab his hidden gun. Barry saw this and stepped in to save the guards their lives.
"Hey, what's the hold up, guys?" He asked "I mean, you wanna call management and explain why the toilets are still overflowing? We're all on the clock, right?"
That got the security to just let them go and continued watching the game while the three entered the elevator. When they got to the floor Lewis heard a few voices up ahead.
"Oh, hold on. Did you hear that?"
Barry walked up ahead and used his phone to see what it was. There were two more guards guarding the door.
"It's two armed guards." He whispered
"Guessing your timing didn't work out after all." Leonard whispered as he glared at his father.
"Yeah, that's why we got a Plan B." Lewis scoffed
"Cause you always needed one." Leonard glared
"Yeah, but…" Lewis said and made a move to grab his gun. "Your sister turned out to be a disappointment also."
With his back turn Barry quickly used his speed to get the guards out of the hallway and hid them before returning.
"Hey, what do you guys say we get on with the job?" He said "Guards are gone. I don't know, must've taken a break."
"Yeah. Must've." Leonard scoffed
He grabbed his cold gun and the three of them walked towards the locked door.
"Okay, Sam. Show us what you got." Lewis said
Barry was nervous but once he got Lewis to keep a look out he was able to use his speed to try different codes. After maybe twenty or thirty codes he was able to get the right one and the metal door unlocked and slid open.
"Told you Draycon was my jam." Barry grunted
"Nice job, Sam." Lewis said
"Yeah." Barry smiled
"It's good to go out on a high note." Lewis said
He ended up shooting him in the chest. The older fox demon left without bothering to see if Barry was dead but Leonard knew before he followed his dad.
"Sorry Barry."
When the door closed Barry opened his eyes and lifted the bullet he caught.

Back at the lab Kagome was still on the chair with Lisa by her side to keep her calm. It was a bit hard to be calm knowing that there was a bomb inside and it could go off any moment. She was a bit hopeful when Cisco walked in, hoping he had an idea. He lifted up a strange looking gun.
"What are you going to do to me with that thing?" She asked
"Operating pressure on this is over 1,000 PSI." Cisco explained to everyone. "This will easily suck the micro-bomb out of her neck and into the barrel of this with one high-powered shot. There is one slight risk."
"Besides shooting a high-powered weapon directly against my neck?" Kagome asked with a brow raise.
"This gun does use compressed air." He said
That wasn't what she was hoping to hear and just made her more nervous. Lisa took her hand to gently squeeze it and place her other hand on Cisco's.
"I trust you, Cisco." She said

Inside the room where Lewis and Leonard were in, the vault to diamonds was guarded by motion lasers.
"Okay, son, make me proud." Lewis said
"Like I care." Leonard growled
He used his gun and was able to freeze the lasers.
"Now what?" Lewis scoffed
Rolling his eyes, Leonard put his hand and started to walk through the lasers. The frozen lasers broke into pieces when he touched them but didn't come back on.
"I told you I had a better way past the lasers." Leonard said
"Step aside. Time for another lesson." Lewis scoffed as he walked towards the vault.
"You've got 125 seconds before the system defrosts." Leonard warned
"Then what?" Lewis asked
"Sirens." Leonards said
Using his hearing Lewis was able to get the commendations right.

"How do you feel?" Cisco asked Kagome
"Like we should've put down some plastic." She joked
This made him laugh a little.
"That's not funny." He said
"Yeah." She said "But I needed to say something to end the tension."
Cisco nodded.
"Okay. Ready?" He asked
"Shoot me, Cisco." She said
He aimed the strange gun where the bomb was at. Just as he was about to pull the trigger Barry called in, nearly scaring everyone. Caitlin quickly hurried to answer it.
"Its'...Flash." She said
"Cisco, how you doing with Kagome?" Barry asked
"Uh, kind of in the middle of it right now, buddy." Cisco said
"All right. We need that bomb out. The heist is going down right now." Barry warned

Inside the vault.
Lewis had gotten all diamonds out of the vault and placed them in a bag before the alarms went off, like Leonard said.
"Time's up." Leonard said
"Let's get outta here." Lewis said
Just when they were about to leave Barry in his Flash suit came in. Out of fear for his mate Leonard aimed his gun at him.
"Only place you're going is back to Sessohmaru's prison, Lewis." Barry said "That's if he lets you live."
"Ah. You wanna bet?" Lewis smirked
"Do I wanna bet?" Barry whispered to his earpiece.
"Do not bet! Give me a minute!" Cisco said
To give Cisco more time Barry tried to stall Lewis.
"Tell me this. What kind of man puts a bomb in his sons' mate?" He asked
"A very rich man. My son was stupied to choose an enemy of ours as a mate." Lewis said
He held out the device to activate the bomb to show Leonard what he was planning.
"Shoot him, son." Lewis ordered
Leonard just aimed his gun at Barry, not sure what to do. He was truly waiting for Barry to give him some kind of signal that his friends got the bomb out of his mate. Sensing his sons' hesitation he let out a final warning.
"Kill him or you'll never see your mate alive." Lewis growled

There was so much tension in the lab right now. Knowing that they didn't have much time left, Kagome urged Cisco to do it. Cisco took a deep breath before he pulled the trigger and within seconds the bomb was out of Kagome's neck.
"I got the bomb out!" He yelled

"Kagome's safe." Barry said to Leonard.
Lewis' eyes widened in fear and turned around to attack his son but Leonard was faster. He used both his cold gun and powers to pierce to freeze his father's cold heart.
"You're working with The Flash?" Lewis gasped, his body started to turn into ice. "I thought you hated him."
"Not as much as I…hate you." Leonard glared
His fathers body turned to an ice statue before it fell over and shattered into millions of pieces. Leonard showed no guilt or remorse as he looked at his fathers death. Barry calmly and carefully walked over to Leonard and took the cold gun away. Leonard, surprisingly, didn't fight him.
"Kagome was safe." Barry said "Why did you do that?"
"It's part of the demon's code. You try to harm or kill our mates, especially one that's pregnant, the sentence is death."
Barry could understand that demon rules and laws are different from humans but he still had to put Leonard in jail. With some help from Shippo he placed a special bracelet on Leonards' wrist to keep his demon powers and strength sealed. Kagome didn't take the news well at first but understood. She wasn't too worried as she was sure Leonard would get out soon.
"Last time I was in Iron Heights, I was visiting my dad." Barry said
"Yeah, me too." Leonard said boredly
"And yet you killed him." Barry said
"He deserved it." Leonard scoffed
Barry just smiled at this and this seemed to piss Leonard off.
"Is that funny to you?" He asked
"No." Barry said "What's funny is I finally figured out your secret."
"And what secret would that be?" Leonard asked
"You'd do anything to protect Kagome and your sister." Barry said "I may not like the idea of you two as a couple but…I see you two are good together. That you truly care for her."
"Well, I know your secret too." Leonard warned "Better hope I don't talk in my sleep."
"You won't." Barry said "Today just proved what I've always known, what Kagome knew from the beginning. There's good in you, Snart."
"Barry…Do you mind? I would like to talk to him without you pissing him off even more." Kagome said
"It's okay Kagome, he doesn't have to admit it to me. But there's a part of him that knows he doesn't have to let his past define him." Barry said "A part of him that really wants to be more than just a criminal."
He got up from the chair and handed her the phone when she sat down. Then he backed away to give them some privacy and went to talk to joe.
"How's little mini us?" Leonard asked
"He or she is fine. I'm starting to crave raw meat." She smiled and placed a hand over her flat stomach. "Lisa had decided to stay to help me get ready for the baby. I have an appointment with an ultrasound next week. I'll show the picture on my next visit."
"I can't wait to see it." He smiled
She smiled at him and placed a hand on the window, wishing she could touch him. Knowing the feeling he placed his hand on the window too.
"I wish you weren't here." She whispered
"Don't worry, babe. I won't be here for that long." He winked, "Be seeing you."
Knowing what he meant she smirked and the two hung up.
