High Protector 9

I decided I needed a few more women to help balance things out. I will be having Astoria join them. We will be moving rather fast through the first few years as nothing really happens until year 4. You will get a feel for what the average day looks like in this chapter and at the end I will likely jump ahead. The education will be far more practical based and less theory as theory can be studied on your own far safer than actual spell usage. The idea is that with a smaller group they will have an accelerated study period and be done by what would be their 4th year and they could move into magical masteries while they finished their non magical education. Also we won't be touching on most of the MCU movies because this isn't about what happened in them but rather how Steve effects Harry.

After the new year begins all the students gather in the living room to hear how the school day will actually work. "Alright, your school schedule is rather straightforward. We will be operating on a rotation basis. You will have half your classes each day and the goal is to be done by 5. One day will consist of unarmed combat, literature, Muggle History, Math and defensive magic. The other day will consist of unarmed combat, Science, Potions, Magical History, and Offensive Magic. Yes I know I mentioned unarmed combat on both days, we believe this is important especially this year. These classes will be more focused on practicals than on theory. Theory you can learn on your own, practical can save your life. Also the art class will be in the evenings after dinner as it is not required. I will post a list of what we will be doing in the class every monday and you can drop in and out as you desire. As you may have noticed we have another student with us please make Astoia Greengrass feel welcome. Since her sister was already starting here we thought it would be good for both of them to start together since Astoria would have started Hogwarts in the fall. Now today is yours to explore the grounds, get moved in, and find the library." With that all said Steve dismisses them all to enjoy their day.

True to Steve's word classes are done by 5 what he didn't say was that class length would vary day to day depending on what the teacher needed from the students. In unarmed combat they are learning the basics of several forms of martial arts. History covers in broad strokes everything up to the statute of secrecy. Potions is potions not much to say other than the students enjoyed themselves. Literature was a hit with all the students as they were introduced to Tolstoy, Tolkien, Dickens and Hemingway among others. In science they were taught the basics of biology and chemistry. Math covered Algebra and got everyone up to an acceptable level. Art was a huge hit and most students showed for it at least once a week with Draco and Susan going everyday. Etiquette was a class everyone hated but they saw the benefit of and so they tolerated it. At least Narcissa was a good and patient teacher. Offensive magic was most people's favorite as at the end of the month they would hold a dueling tournament. Defensive magic was everyone's least favorite class as they spent most classes learning how not to be there when the spell was.

Defensive magic

When everyone got their class schedule no one was expecting defensive magic to be outdoors. Once they all find their way to the area where the class is set to begin Jessica welcomes the class and begins explaining what the goal of the class this year is. "Most fights are won by the first blow that lands, for the rest of the year I will be teaching you how to make sure yours is that blow. While the first one rarely wins the fight it does set the tone for the fight. That said for the rest of the year we will be running dodging exercises at first standing still and later with cover and while on the move in the open. All the teachers have been instructed to shoot various things at you. These range from paintballs to stinging hexs to nerf darts and everything in between. Your uniform has a spell that will record your score. Your score will be your grade. We begin when class starts for now but as we progress this will not simply be done during class but rather at all times during your time here."

With that class begins and everyone fails horribly, most end up dodging one or two but no one dodges much more than that. While they are being shot at they are also having tips yelled at them by Jessica. By the end of the year everyone only gets tagged once or twice a day.

Offensive Magic

Remus introduces himself and outlines the course goals stating "We don't have charms transfiguration and DADA because we feel as a smaller group you can learn all them together between offensive and defensive magic. Here we will be focusing mostly on disabling a target. Theory work will be your homework as we have limited course time and it will be better spent learning magic instead of it works. After all, do we need to know how a wand works? No, we just trust it does. While usually the first year is spent learning to connect to your magic and control the output through basic charms like Lumos as well as learning about dark creatures. This class will be doing much the same only instead of Lumos we will be using spells like incarcious and stupify."

Dummies are brought out and thanks to Stark they actually react like a person when the spell hits them and due to the magic built in they actually self cancel after 30 seconds.

The children love this class as it allows them to use their magic readily and as the year goes on they are taught the basics of dueling and begin learning spells to slow down a target as well as stop them.

Wizengamot summer session

Dumbledore has been outfoxed at every turn so far but this is his chance to get Harry back under his control, for the greater good of course. He has no more political cards to play if this one falls through. He is planning on having one of his supporters raise the issue of students needing to be at Hogwarts for their education.

Once everyone is seated the meeting begins and about halfway through the meeting one of his allies stands up and brings to the floor a bill that would require all children of age to attend Hogwarts. This gets debated around for a while until finally Lord Nott stands up. "My esteemed Lords and Ladies, we have a system that has worked for hundreds of years. Why do we need to change it now? Is it simply because Captain Rogers decided that it would be safer for his ward to be homeschooled after a troll was in the grounds of Hogwarts? Personally I pulled my son out as well as did many of us. This bill would require them to return to the very place we chose to leave because of safety concerts. Why is Beauxbatons or Durmstrang or homeschooled not enough? Are we to believe the very same headmaster who allowed a troll in the castle can now suddenly keep our children safe? If this bill is passed I will be taking my son and we will be moving our residence off the British isles and away from the nonsense that seems to be ever more frequent in the last year from our chief warlock."

With his peace said several other Lords and Ladies voice their agreement. Albus really should have done a better job of tracking who all left since several families let Minerva know their children would not be returning in the fall. His bill falls apart in front of his eyes and there is nothing he can do to stop it.

Greengrass Manor post troll

Lord Nott asked for a meeting with the Greengrasses and was granted one. When he arrives he has what appears to be a briefcase with him. This is confusing for Cyrus as Lord Nott would never carry something so muggle. When they Sit down and tea and biscuits are delivered Lord Nott begins "As you should know by now a troll was let loose in the grounds of Hogwarts and Albus sent students directly towards where it was supposed to be. Lord Malfoy and Captain Rogers went to Madame Bones for an investigation and then the chief warlock shut down the investigation before it really got any traction. A group of us headed by Captain Rogers are pulling our children out and we will be having them taught at Potter Manor. Captain Rogers is assembling a teaching staff as we speak. As your family stood with Charlus Potter and Captain Rogers against Grindelwald your family was at the top of the list as was mine. I have here the basic outline of what we will teach. Of course both your daughters are welcome. We certainly will have an interesting collection of students. We already have Muggleborn pure blood and half blood students. This will not be a dark lord training ground rather the opposite I believe." With that he leaves the paperwork and tells him to let Lord Malfoy or Lady Bones know when they decide.

Time jump

Hogwarts 2012

Albus finally got his wish: the Triwizard tournament is coming back. He doesn't really care about the tournament itself but this is an easy way to get Harry back under his sway at the castle. Of course he will have to manipulate events to ensure Potter is demonized for finding himself in this tournament. See he needs Tom to return so that he can use him once more to ensure his greater good is moved forward. He knows Tom is not dead not really, yes he may lack a body but he is far from dead.

That Halloween 4 names come out of the Goblet of fire and everyone is stunned by the 4th name as he hasn't been seen since he left Hogwarts. Harry Potter is to participate in the Triwizard tournament.

Potter Manor November 1st

Steve is sitting at the kitchen table enjoying breakfast before all the kids get up when Tony hands him the paper. "Is it time to unleash everything we have on Albus and destroy him once and for all?"

Steve reads the headline and looks at Tony "Have the goblins deliver the contracts today. Then give a press release to the Profit about the marriage contracts Albus now finds himself in. Also see about getting me an interview about the lead up to this tournament"

Tony heads off to do that while the kids all file in and begin eating breakfast before beginning their school day. At lunch that day Steve makes an announcement "As some of you know Harry here has been illegally entered into the Triwizard tournament. We believe this was either done directly by Albus or by someone he allowed to do so. As such we will be moving to Hogwarts for the rest of the year. We will be leaving after classes. The elves are packing your things as we speak. We are thinking of making an entrance. I am thinking of the Rainbow bridge, then Thor and Loki can join us. It would be nice to have the god of mischief on our side. We will take that right through the wards of Hogwarts and appear right in front of the staff table at dinner time. As far as school goes don't worry we will have something brought." With that settled the day continues as normal and after classes they all get ready on the grass in the front yard dressed in their combat uniform complete with weapons. Steve asks Heimdall to move them and he answers by activating the Bifrost and away they go.

Hogwarts

Albus is having a bad day. This morning started so well Harry was being demonized in the papers and would soon be back at Hogwarts under his watchful eye. Then lunch came and with it came an astonishing amount of mail for him. Normally he takes his mail in his office but for whatever reason these owls didn't get the memo. When he finally gets them all to his office and begins to open them his eyes go wide and he begins to tremble. Marriage contracts and not just a few seemingly all of them at least all the ones he really needed Harry to accept. 30 of them and all of them due within a month due to his age. Worse yet, all of them needed a son within a year. He suddenly begins to feel the weight of what he has done and what is coming. He can't simply undo them since he signed them though how his name got replaced with Harry's is a great question.

He has been in a right foul mood ever since but now it's dinner and he has to put on a good face for the public. Just as everyone is sitting down suddenly a light show starts and a tunnel of light is suddenly in front of the staff table in the great hall. When this clears he sees before him not just Harry Potter but several people and none look too happy to be here. A few of his staff get their wands out and pointed towards the new people.

"What madness is this? You force us to come to your home and you greet us with weapons drawn. Though I suppose I should expect nothing less from the pompous ofe Albus Dumbledore." Tony says.
