High Protector 10
Sorry it has been awhile. I have been so swamped with work I haven't had a chance to write anything for awhile. I did just go through and change a few things after some people pointed out some issues. Hopefully this helps. Updates will continue to be random for the foreseeable future though hopefully I will be able to get a chapter a month.
When the lights cleared and all the students from all the schools could see again they where startled to see a group of around 20 people mostly dressed seemingly for war. The most interesting one is the big Blonde one in the middle with the hammer. When the one with the red metal suit begins asking questions the crowd immediately realizes this is Harry Potter's group. Many of the Muggle born and a few of the Half blood recognize some of the people in front of them as the Avengers.
Professor Flitwick, one of the ones with his wand out, begins to lower it "Forgive me and my colleagues suddenly a group of people penetrated the wards on the safest place on the planet and arrive in front of the staff table unannounced. I would hope that if such a thing happened at your school you would react the same."
Tony opens his helmet "This wouldn't have happened at our school. If it did you would all have been dead before the light show ended. Safest place my ass. You may have Dumbledore but we have the man who led the great lords in the Grindelwald war defeated hydra allowed for us to stop an alien invasion."
This gets everyone's attention. Not much had gotten out internationally about Harry Potter other than he showed up and was attending Hogwarts. This clearly was not the case and hadn't been for some time.
Karkaroff looks through their group and spotting Remus begins to object "You have a man who is wanted for murder in my country as well as being a werewolf. I would see you turn him over to the authorities immediately."
Albus seeing a chance to harm Steve's standing and perhaps begin to bring Harry back to his control. "Well we can't have that. I will be contacting the head of the DMLE and we will have him detained in no time."
Thor steps forward "You have no authority to detain a vasal of Asgard. If you do it will mean war and as you saw today your wards will not stop us from sending our armies to you. This man has done more good in his life than any of you sitting up there."
This simple statement shuts everyone up. Karkaroff having heard the stories of Asgard and the might of their armies knows better than to try and interfere. Dumbledore decides he needs to gather more information given this sudden and unexpected revelation. After the interruption to dinner Harry and his group leave through the doors of the great hall.
"Where are you going? I didn't see you bring any accommodations and the Castle is more than large enough to house you." Dumbledore asks without it being a question
Steve turns and responds "Our accommodation is here don't worry. In fact its been here all day." With that the doors close and the students make their way outside only to see Nick Fury on the ground outside of a quinnjet.
"Good to see you guys again, wish under better circumstances. I have procured lodging and a training facility for you all. Its staffed by our magical division of SHIELD so don't worry about any statute breach. Also I have important information about the first task. Do you want to be briefed on it tonight or tomorrow morning." Nick asks as they board the ship.
Harry looks at him "Lets brief tonight if everyone is alright sitting in a meeting while we have dinner. Thank you for all this."
Once everyone is seated and dinner has been brought in Fury begins his briefing. "So the first task is supposed to be a task to measure the type of person you are. You are allowed one helper who is not a magical teacher or guardian. As far as we can tell you will be separated and each have to go through your own challenge. One of might and the other of character. The one of might seems to be fighting some type of class XXXXX creature, historically these have been anything from dragons to basilisks. The one of character we have more information on and can build a strategy accordingly. For it you will have two students from a different school you must either rescue or allow to die. If one of them dies you and the other one are free, if you die the other students are allowed to live. If you make it to the end and everyone is alive you get full marks. I am thinking you should either have Banner or Thor deal with the creature both should be able to withstand whatever it is and come out victorious. As for the other part you have the best minds in strategy in this room I would use them while me and my resources try and find out what exactly this path entails. I have a good lead with one who is in debt to the goblins and is in charge of this tournament. Also while I have no doubt Albus entered you into this tournament don't expect him to actually help you with it. In fact if my sources are to be believed Albus won't make the new year."
Everyone at the table nods they finish dinner and are all thinking to themselves about what is going on.
After dinner The Avengers meet up with Fury alone. "Steve, you received a few letters today, some of them appear to be from people we are marrying to Dumbledore. I would advise at least reading them and seeing what is going on." Nick explains
Steve passes the letters around and they all open them and begin reading. Once they are all finished Steve looks up "Anyone feel bad for any of these people? Anyone feel like these people should not have to marry that old coot and suffer the same humiliation they wanted to do to Harry?"
Thor responds "Perhaps mine. I will explain, she was 15 when her mother signed the contract for her, she found out today when it arrived and her mother basically told her she has no choice and that it was supposed to be Harry Potter not Dumbledore. She was told her mother had been stealing from Harry to cover expenses over the years 'since he will be your husband its not stealing' is what her mother said. She is requesting a meeting before she kills the old goat fucker and her mother. She seems like a fiery young lady, she is in law enforcement and another letter was from Ms. Bones asking us to have a meeting with her."
Everyone nods "we will take the meeting tomorrow in the same cafe me and Amelia first talked" Steve responds
With that settled they all head to their quarters to get some rest before they begin teaching again tomorrow.

Back in the castle Albus is still most upset and now finding out he has had a third housing on his grounds all day without his knowledge is most unsettling. He would have felt them through the wards right? The alternative is far worse a thought. Asgard he thinks some made up place by people long dead who don't know what real power is. His thoughts go back to this stack on contracts he has to deal with. He will just have to break them, yes thats what he will do.
That night back in his office he begins writing out letters with strong compulsion charms on them to break the contract and take the least money they can in penalty. He knows all the penalty is on his side thats why he needs them to take as little as possible he needs it for other things. If this doesn't work he can always go to Cornelius and get them destroyed but that would cost much more money and give the minister power over him, something he is loath to do. Feeling secure in his course of action he heads to bed.

Ginny Weasley was very excited her future husband was going to be here today and then be around all year. The great Harry Potter her future husband by contract will have to acknowledge her now. She had sent him letters over the years of course but all where returned unopened. Thats alright she had been told he had horrible guardians that pulled him from Hogwarts. Today though he would arrive, and arrive he did in a show of power unlike anything she had ever seen before. Those outfits they all where wearing not very lady like but they sure looked good on Harry. She can't hear everything but she hears some words like prison and asgard and armies. She sees the mean ugly headmaster get very tense when this is said and drop whatever issue was going on. Then they all turn and leave ignoring all the students.
It's alright she saw Harry and he looks every bit as good as she dreamed. When Ron had told her about Harry leaving Hogwarts she wanted to go wherever he was studying but she wasn't invited instead dark families where this just solidified in her mind that he needed to get away from his guardians and come to a loving family like hers.
