It had been a few weeks since everything had happened. Lorelai was doing well. It was around 11pm she had just gotten the baby to bed. Spencer was working on something in the office when she got a call from a number she didn't recognize.

"Hello?" She said answering it

"Hello. Is this Lorelai Reid?" The caller asked

"Yes. Who is this?" Lorelai asked

"This is officer Hart from DCPD. We have Hannah Green here. You are listed as her emergency contact in her phone." She said

"Hannah. Is she okay?" Lorelai asked

"She's okay. She was picked up. Underage drinking and fighting in a bar." The caller said

Lorelai sighed. "Okay. I'm on my way." She said she quickly got dressed and told Spencer what was going on before she left and headed to the police station.

She got there and said who she was and who she was there for. "If there is any bail I will pay it." She said

"The bar owner doesn't want to press charges just wanted them out of his bar. And they are permanently banned from said bar." The officer said

"And I take it this is going on her record?" Lorelai asked

"Yup." The officer said

"Lorelai?" She heard from behind

She looked up. "Will. Hi. I didn't know you'd be working tonight."

"Officer LaMontagne you know her?" Officer Hart asked

"Yes. She works with my wife." Will said

"Wait. Your FBI?" The officer asked

Lorelai chuckled. "Currently on maternity leave but yes." Lorelai said, "Is Hannah just being released?"

The officer nodded. "She does it again any bar she will be charged."

"Understood. Trust me. She wont. Her father is a police captain. When he finds out he will rip her a new one." Lorelai said

Hannah was being brought out at that point. "Dear god please don't tell my dad." She said

"Ha. Like I want to deal with being lectured if I don't." Lorelai said

"He doesn't need to find out." Hannah said

"Are you okay?" Lorelai asked her cousin

"Yes. I'm fine." Hannah said

"You remember Will from my baby shower right?" Lorelai asked

"Vaguely yes." Hannah said

"Well, if I remember clearly he and your father talked. And exchanged numbers. And I can guarantee if you or I don't tell your father he will." Lorelai said

"She is not wrong about that." Will said

Hannah sighed. "How do you know people from everywhere?"

Lorelai chuckled "He happens to be married to one of my co-workers."

"Urg." Hannah said

"Lets go." Lorelai said. She said bye to Will and the other officer thanking them both and leading her cousin out to her car. They both got in.

"You going to lecture me?" Hannah asked

"Nope." Lorelai said. "But what happened?"

"I was out with a couple friends. We were having a few drinks. Some guys came over and started hitting on us. Out of no where these other women came over and started yelling at us for hitting on their men. Things escalated and a fight broke out." Hannah said

"You're sure your not hurt?" Lorelai asked

"Yes. I didn't actually take any hits." Hannah said "And only really pushed someone away from hitting me."

"So, -you weren't really fighting?" Lorelai asked

"No. Not really." Hannah said

"Did you tell the police that?" She asked

"Yes. They told me they knew. The bar tender corroborated that. That I was only really being held for the underage drinking." Hannah said

"You have a fake ID?" Lorelai asked

Hannah nodded.

"Take it out." Lorelai said

Hannah did and handed it to her. Lorelai looked at it at a stop light. "You got this from Sebastian on Main Street didn't you?" Lorelai asked

"How do you know that?" Hannah asked

"It wasn't long ago I was getting busted in bars underage drinking." Lorelai said

Hannah's eyes went big.

"Why do you think I'm not lecturing? I'm going to leave it to your dad." Lorelai said.

"Did you have to tell your dad?" Hannah asked

"Yup. How do you think I knew that Will would tell your dad? He was the one who busted me. Twice. Two different bars. Well one bar one restaurant with bar. In two different states." Lorelai said

"Seriously?" Hannah asked

"Yes. Its life's little joke for me and Will." Lorelai said

"Do you like him or something?" Hannah asked

"God no. He is like a big brother to me." Lorelai said

"Okay. Sorry." Hannah said. "You're not taking me back to my dorm are you?"

"Nope. You can sleep on the pull out in our guest room. We will call your dad tomorrow." Lorelai said. "I'm not going to make you call and wake him up."

Hannah nodded.

They pulled up at Lorelai's place. And they went inside. Lorelai got her set up in the guest room with some water and a big t-shirt. She checked in on the baby before she crashed herself.

The next morning, they all got up. Lorelai made them coffee and food. Once they had eaten she went and got the baby who was just waking up. She fed her and got her ready for the day before going back out to the living room

"Its time to face the music." Lorelai told her cousin. "Video chat him."

"I cant just call him?" Hannah asked

"Nope. The looks are part of a lecture so deal with it." Lorelai said

Hannah video chatted him and Lorelai sat down next to her with the baby playing on a blanket on the floor.

Matt answered. "Hey Hannah." He said making a face before recognizing where she was. "You're at Lorelai's?"

Lorelai peaked into the frame. "Yup. She has something to tell you."

"Hannah. What did you do?" Matt asked with a sigh.

"How do you know I did something?" Hannah asked

"Because I know. Now out with it." Matt said

Hannah explained what happened and Lorelai picking her up at the police station.

"Hannah. How did you drink?" He asked

"I have… had a fake ID." Hannah said

"I have it now." Lorelai piped in.

"Where did you get it?" Matt asked

"Guy sells them here." Hannah said

"I know the guy. I will get him shut down. I actually figured my dad did…." Lorelai said

Matt raised an eyebrow at his niece.

"Trust me I got the lecture for it at the time." Lorelai said

"I'm sure you did. I don't think your dad and I are much different in our opinions on underage drinking." Matt said. He turned his attention to his daughter.

"Do you have any idea the kind of trouble you are in young lady?" He asked

"Yes daddy." Hannah said

"Give me one reason I shouldn't make you transfer to a school here where I can keep an eye on you?" Matt said

"Dad. I'm doing so well here in school. I have friends. Please don't." Hannah said

"What made you think underage drinking would ever fly with me?" He asked

"I didn't think I would get caught." Hannah said

"Hannah Green." He said

"What? Do you want me to lie?" Hannah asked

Matt took a breathe and shook his head.

"I'm very disappointed in you." Matt said

Hannah let a tear fall. "I'm sorry daddy."

"You are coming home next weekend. And trust me this conversation is long from over young lady." Matt said

"Yes daddy." Hannah said

"You still there Lorelai?" He asked

Lorelai came back over from the floor where she had moved to with her daughter. "Yes."

"Thank you for getting her and making sure she is safe." Matt said

"Of course. She is my cousin. I will always be here for her." Lorelai said squeezing her shoulder gently.

"Hannah. Remember your mom and I love you. And while we don't like when you make bad choices we still love you." Matt said

"I know. I love you both too." Hannah said

"How is my great niece?" Matt asked

Lorelai picked her up and put her in the view of the camera. "She is good."

"She is getting so big." Matt said

"You need to come visit soon." Lorelai said

"I have vacation in a few weeks we were planning on coming to the area to spend time with Hannah of course but we want to see you all too." Matt said

"We will arrange something." Lorelai said

"Well. I have to get ready for work. Hannah you stay out of trouble. Love you all." He said before they hung up.

Hannah looked up at Lorelai.

"You okay?" Lorelai asked

"No… I hate disappointing them." Hannah said

"I feel the same way about my dad." Lorelai said

"I need someone to talk to about something. And I cant tell my parents." Hannah said

Lorelai nodded. "Nothing legal trouble?"

"No. Nothing like that." Hannah said

"You can talk to me. I wont tell your dad." Lorelai said

"I'm pregnant." Hannah said

"Oh. Wow." Lorelai said

"I know… I shouldn't have been drinking." Hannah said

"No. But that's not what we worry about right now." Lorelai said. "How far along?"

"14 weeks." Hannah said

"What are your plans?" Lorelai asked

"I'm thinking abortion." Hannah said. "I'm not ready to be a mom. And I cant put this child into the system." Hannah said

"Speaking as a foster care system survivor I understand that. But you could always pick a family before you give birth. Who will adopt the baby. If that's what you want. I support any decision you make." Lorelai said

"And you wont tell my parents?" Hannah asked

"Never." Lorelai said

"You know my parents would disown me if I had an abortion." Hannah said

"I highly doubt that." Lorelai said

"You know were religious. The bible talks about abortion being wrong." Hannah said

"I know you go to church. And I have the upmost respect for your religious beliefs. But your parents know. I had an abortion when I was younger. I was told if I didn't I would have likely not survived because of how unhealthy I was because of the abuse I went through." Lorelai said, "And they never said anything to me about being against it or anything."

"Not to your face." Hannah said

Lorelai tilted her head. "What did they say behind my back?"

"That if you had been living with us they never would have let you have the abortion." Hannah said

"Really?" Lorelai said clearly not happy

"Sorry…" Hannah said

Lorelai nodded. "Not on you Han."

After sitting in silence for a few minutes. "I will go with you if you want. But curious. Who is the dad?"

"This guy. At a party. Ended up in a room together. He doesn't need to know." Hannah said

"Of course. Your body your choice." Lorelai said

"Thanks." Hannah said

"Do you want a drive to your car?" Lorelai asked

Hannah nodded.

Lorelai left the baby with Spencer and drove her back to her car before going back home.

She sat in the living room just thinking. Spencer came in. "Hey."

She looked up. "Hi."

"You looked deep in thought." Spencer said

"Just. Finding out people you trusted have spoken about you behind your back instead of to your face." Lorelai said

"Who?" Spencer asked

"Has to stay between us." Lorelai said

"Okay. I can do that." Spencer said

"Matt and Bianca." She said

"Your uncle and aunt? What did they say?" Spencer asked

"Apparently they had different opinions than they shared with me about the fact that I had an abortion when I left the home at 15." Lorelai said

"Really?" Spencer asked

"Hannah overheard them saying that if I was living with them they never would have 'let' me get an abortion." Lorelai said

"Why did this conversation even come up?" Spencer asked

"That is why it needs to stay between us…" Lorelai said

"Hannah's pregnant?" Spencer asked

"Yes. And she is getting an abortion. I am going with her, and we are not telling her parents." Lorelai said

"Okay." Spencer said. "It will stay between us."

"It just breaks my heart that they would have preferred me to try and have the baby and die and the baby likely would have died anyways. And not say it to my face." Lorelai said in tears.

Spencer wrapped her in a hug. "I get that must hurt. But you know you have a family who supports your body your choice."

"I know." Lorelai said.

Spencer and her just sat and cuddled for a couple hours while the baby napped than they went to Aaron and Emily's for family dinner. They had a good time before coming home and getting the baby to sleep and going to bed themselves.
