Tashigi wanted to bash her head against the wall. Repeatedly. Kuina had allowed her to remain in control for a few days. Mostly so that she could get used to the Straw Hats and all that. But she was honestly tempted to just give Kuina back the helm because this was a stupid situation that they'd gotten themselves into. Apparently, the folks at Whiskey Peak were all Bounty Hunters and while she herself didn't pass out, she didn't get much of a chance to help due to Zoro hogging the glory.
But that wasn't the stupid part.
The stupid part was Luffy thinking Zoro attacking them for no reason. And now they were beating on eachother.
She inhaled deeply while rubbing her temples.
This is all your fault, Kuina. You couldn't just die like a normal person.
I'm very stubborn.
I'm well aware.
"Zoro! Luffy! Stop acting like complete tools and help with the bigger problem-"
Without even stopping to acknowledge her, they defeated the two Baroque Works agents in a single blow.
"-nevermind, carry on."
She just watched numbly as they continued to beat on eachother.
I feel my IQ dropping.
I'm sure it wasn't that high to begin with.
Fuck you, Kuina.
So now they were helping Princess Vivi and had to liberate a Kingdom from Crocodile. She refused to say it out loud, but her respect for the Straw Hats went up a notch after seeing them agree to help this girl. Maybe Kuina was right about them. Maybe they were different from other pirates.
Still, would it kill that Miss All Sunday person to not be trying to break her arms right now. She was actually in a lot of pain. It was only her Marine discipline that kept her from crying out. That and Kuina's soothing presence. Turns out that they can support eachother mentally. That was good to know.
Eventually she was let go, but the pain had been too much and she blacked out. But to a certain devil child's surprise, she didn't stay down for long. She instantly rose to her feet.
Kuina glared daggers at Miss All Sunday.
"That hurt, you fucker! Not to mention, you almost took away my career as a swordswoman!"
She still felt the physical pain from the attack on her arms, but it seemed that their senses were separate. This sharing a body thing was proving to be more of a blessing than a curse.
The dark haired woman ignored her and tossed an eternal pose toward Luffy, one that Kuina slashed in two pieces with Shigure. She was sure that Tashigi would forgive her for using the blade under these circumstances.
"My Captain doesn't like taking shortcuts," she muttered darkly.
Luffy grinned. "Shishishi! That's right! No shortcuts!"
With that, the woman departed and Kuina felt pathetic. And she was sure that Tashigi felt even worse. She turned toward Zoro, who had been remarkably silent.
"We need to train."
He grunted. "I won't hold back."
She smirked. "I'd be insulted if you did."
