Ch 1

Captain America had a new mission from Nick Fury's crew: stop Georges Batroc and his mercenaries from stealing the launch codes to an abandoned SHIELD submarine. If Batroc and his mercenaries got the codes, they would be able to launch a missile from the submarine and take out the Triskelion, effectively ending the intelligence agency. In a SHIELD base in NYC, a convoy of armored jeeps drove up and the mercs blew open the door with a grenade launcher before they went in, shot down all the guards, and copied the launch codes from a computer to their USB drive. Suddenly, a merc guarding the outside of the building was knocked down by a red and white blur. Falcon had arrived. Two more mercs fired their machine guns but Cap blocked the bullets with his shield and threw it at both of them, knocking them down before the shield returned back to him.

"It's him! Captain America!" A merc said in French.

"Open fire!" Batroc ordered.

Soon all the mercs went outside the building and fired their machine guns and some of them had RPGs but Cap's shield blocked the enemy fire before he went to work, knocking them all out with punches, kicks, and shield-throws. Falcon also helped out by taking out mercs with his twin pistols and wrist rockets. The last enemy was Batroc. Batroc unleashed a flurry of kicks and punches which Cap blocked with his shield before kicking Batroc in the chest. Batroc surprisingly didn't fall down and instead did a backflip, landing on his feet.

"I thought you were more than just a shield." Batroc said in French.

"Let's see." Cap replied, also in French, and put his shield on his back.

Batroc grinned nastly before throwing a punch and a kick but Cap blocked those both before taking down Batroc with an uppercut and a kick, sending him sprawling. Cap rushed in to deliver the final blow but Batroc grabbed a grenade launcher from a fallen merc and fired. Cap blocked it with his shield but the force of the explosion blew him back. When he got up, there was no sign of Batroc or the USB drive. Batroc was gone.
