Ch 2
Cap teamed up with Falcon and recovered Bucky Barnes to stop Batroc and his men from transferring the launch codes to Alexander Pierce who was still alive after the Hydra Uprising. Pierce had escaped and he was hiding in an abandoned SHIELD base near an abandoned beach in Long Island. Batroc and his men were using a radio tower to transmit the codes to Pierce using a radio tower at a harbor in NYC. Cap, Sam, and Bucky arrived in a Quinjet and went to work, knocking down the mercs with punches, kicks, shield-bashes, missiles, and machine gun fire. When the last mercenary fell, Sam went to shut down the radio tower as Cap and Bucky fought Batroc in a 2v1 fight.
"You can't stop it." Batroc said. "I'll get this mission finished one way or another."
"That's not gonna happen." Cap replied.
Then the fight began as Falcon flew toward the radio tower, taking out another squad of mercs that blocked him. Cap and Bucky attacked from both sides but Batroc ducked and dodged all their punches and kicks before unleashing a barrage of his own blows. Batroc sent Bucky flying with a roundhouse kick and punched Cap in the forehead. Cap fell but he got back up and threw his shield but Batroc grabbed it and tossed it away. Bucky rammed into Batroc and they had a fistfight. Bucky was able to push back Batroc with his metal arm's enhanced punches but Batroc managed to knock down Bucky with a sweeping kick before kicking him into a wall, knocking him out.
It was all up to Cap now.
Batroc tackled Cap and pinned him down but Cap headbutted Batroc, knocking him off before hitting him back with a kick. They threw punches and kicks before Batroc wrapped his legs around Cap's head and brought him down. Cap freed himself and elbowed Batroc in the face before he tackled Batroc and had him in a chokehold. Batroc got Cap off of him and the two continued their fistfight. Batroc landed punches onto Cap's chest and face before he sent the hero flying with a kick and threw a knife at Cap, hoping to impale him with it. Cap grabbed his shield just in time and deflected the knife, hitting Batroc in the chest and killing him but not before he got off a shot with his pistol, hitting Sam. The shutdown process stopped and the launch codes had been transferred after the bar reached 100%.
"Sam, you okay?" Cap asked as he helped his friend up.
"I'm good. Just a flesh wound." Sam said. "The codes got transferred to Pierce." "I know, but at least we know where he is." Cap replied. "We can find him and stop this before it's too late."
