To the hecklers, don't like don't read.

Daenerys will appear in person, but later.

Heads up, I will be referring to Jon as his Targaryen name from time to time in this from now on. He's trying to act more like a dragon now, so his name change is needed. I will probably switch between them though in the future. Also I named him Jaeheron (Aegon was used for his brother and it makes no sense Lyanna would name her son after his half brother).

EDITED ON 10/30

Robb was sitting at his desk in Riverrun. Soon, his ... cousin would arrive and hopefully have the answers that he had been wondering about for almost a week now. The army had reached the castle hours ago. Robb was glad to be discussing things here, as there was less of a chance they could be spied upon behind closed doors rather than a flimsy tent. Plus, the army was busy settling in, so it was less likely anyone would interrupt them.

Robb was deeply troubled. His brothers weren't as he remembered. Bran... the boy seemed no longer human. Sure he looked like Bran, but he was... not. The little brother he remembered was not a cold, emotionless... well he wasn't sure what to call Bran now. He seemed to always have a far off look in his eyes. There were no feelings in most of, if not all of, his words.

Then there was Jon, or as he was now saying, Jaeheron. Apparently his Aunt Lyanna had given her son a unique name rather than a more familiar one like Aegon or Jaehaerys. Honestly, Robb hoped he could still use his old name, the one he grew up calling him. Regardless, it didn't change the truth: his brother wasn't his brother like he thought. Jaeron had told him no matter what they were brothers, but the damage was still done. There would now always be a little reminder in his mind that the boy he grew up side by side with was not sired by his father.

"I can't bare to see you like this." Talisa was sitting on their bed. Looking at his wife, Robb gave her a sad smile.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it right now."

Talisa got up and walked over, pulling him to his feet and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Your brother already told you. You will always be brothers to him. You need not worry. If you must worry, let it be about a name for a baby girl."

Robb perked up immediately. Thinking of his child always did that to him.

Names...

"Girl? You know already?!"

Talisa smiled. "No, but I already have a name for a son."

"Excuse me, should not the father have say at what to call his son?"

"Eddard."

Robb was stunned into silence for a moment. Then, forgetting who was coming, he pulled Talisa to him and kissed her hard. They stumbled back towards the bed.

A knock on the door broke their bliss.

"Serves me right for forgetting we had company."

Robb released his wife and went to the door. Opening it, he found Jaeheron and Bran.

"Your grace" his cousin said.

After letting them in, they all sat in the chairs surrounding a table. On it was a wine pitcher and glasses. After pouring them all drinks, Robb looked at his cousin. "So... its Jaeheron."

"Robb, you can call me whatever you want. We're brothers in all ways that matter."

Robb smiled before gesturing for him to continue.

Jaeheron took a deep breath and began. "Robb, all you heard about the rebellion's beginning was a lie. My parents were in love. Lyanna, she despised Robert. When she met Rhaegar, she fell hard."

"Did he not already have a wife? What about Elia Martell?"

"Their marriage was annulled" Bran said. His tone was still emotionless. "Elia was not capable of more children after the last of her babes were born. Plus, she and Rhaegar never loved each other. She saw Lyanna as a way out of a loveless marriage she never truly wanted."

"He speaks the truth" Jaeheron said. "My parents wed on the isle of faces."

"Hold on" Robb interrupted. "If that's true, then...

"Please don't" Jaeheron said. "I know the Iron throne is rightly mine. But I don't want it."

"You don't...?!"

"No Robb. It caused my family nothing but pain. Please just forget it."

Bran turned towards the rightful king. "You know the rest of Westeros won't care."

"They can go jump off a cliff! I care not for their opinion anymore! Last time, they" his cousin stopped mid sentence.

"Last time?" Talisa asked before Robb could.

"I... I'm not sure how to say this." But Bran cut his cousin off.

"Jon and I are not from this time. We came from the future."

Jaeheron cast yet another annoyed look at Bran (the latest of many).

"The WHAT?!"

"The future, your grace. As did his grace's dragon."

"Bran, your blunt tone isn't helping" Jaeheron said.

"But I can explain better." Bran traced a line with his finger on the table. "Think of time as a path. One that you can only go forward on. Jon and I came from further down it."

Robb looked at Bran like he grew a new head. "How is such a thing possible?"

"I became the three eyed raven."

Jaeheron slapped his forehead in exasperation. "Maybe we both should explain."

For the next half hour, Robb listened to a story so strange it wasn't possible to have made it up. It started with what his brothers knew as the 'red wedding,' how the Boltons and Freys betrayed him. It only got more insane as it continued. Uncle Benjen, wildlings attacking the wall (Jon sleeping with a spear wife), Joffrey and Tywin dying (Robb had laughed at Tywin's demise), and the horrors Sansa went through at the hands of Littlefinger and Ramsay. Robb was so glad when they explained they no longer needed to worry about that bastard: Rhaegal had almost gotten sick from eating the bastard a week ago.

Then came the parts Robb almost doubted. White Walkers?! His brother being murdered for letting the wildlings in the seven kingdoms?! Bran and the Reed children's journey in the far north?! DRAGONS COMING BACK?! Robb was certain his mother would faint again. He also noticed something: Jaeheron hesitated when he would talk about his aunt. He described how they met, how they came to be allies, how they fought together, but Robb could tell he was holding something back. He would have asked, but a subtle shake of the head from Bran kept him from doing so. What was going on?

"Then Bran came to me in my head. He said we had a chance to change it all from a certain point in history. I agreed with his plan, and then I was suddenly lying next to Ygritte."

Robb gave Jaeheron a look. "I had my clothes on! We came back before the cave."

"So how did you all get here?"

"I didn't just send us back" Bran said. "Remember, I also brought Rhaegal with us, though he came from further back than we did."

"What do you mean?"

"Rhaegal was dead where we came from. I had to pull him from a point he was still alive in."

"Anyway" Jaeheron for once interrupted. "When I woke up, I found Rhaegal not far from the free folk camp. Bran came to me in my head again. He told me where to find Rickon and him. I'm sure you can fill in the rest."

"But why did you choose now" Robb asked. "Why not before all this happened? Could you not have saved father?"

"Well, this is too hard to explain. To put it as simply as I can, it wasn't possible to send an adult Rhaegal back any further. Jon and I came back to our bodies in this time, but I pulled Rhaegal from another time, one where he was alive and fully grown."

"I still don't understand myself Robb" Jaeheron said. He had his head resting on his palm. Its clear this story exhausted him.

"Still, why come back at all? I'm grateful, but this..."

Bran shook his head again, stopping just short of Jaeheron raising his head to look at him.

"Things happened. Painful things that I'd rather not discuss."

Robb could tell he wouldn't get anything else.

"Robb, there is more" Jaeheron said. "As I already said, the White Walkers were after the free folk in our time. They were so in this time as well. So I..."

"You what?"

"I forced the night's watch to let Mance Rayder's army through."

"YOU WHAT?!"

"Robb, with all due respect..."

"YOU LET WILDLINGS INTO THE NORTH! DID YOU FORGET I WASN'T THERE TO DO ANYTHING?! WHO KNOWS WHAT HAVOC THEY'RE CAUSING!"

"None, Robb" Bran said. "Jon and I made it clear there would be consequences if any of the free folk attacked our countrymen. But aside from that, Jon has earned Mance and his people's respect. They may not be loyal to him, but they won't work to undermine his efforts, which we made clear means respecting your rule of the North and not causing problems."

"And you trust them?!"

"Robb" Jaeheron said. "You forget I spent time amongst them. I hunted with them. I even once slept with one! They may be free folk, but they're people! They don't deserve to be fodder for the Night's King's army."

"Do we even have to worry about them? I thought you said they only got through the wall by killing one of Daenerys' dragons."

Robb noticed Jaeheron wince at Daenerys' name.

"Robb" Bran said. "The fact we are here now has changed the future we came from. To be honest, I'm not sure if it still is around. Events will be different now. We have to prepare for the others again."

Robb once again found himself wondering why all this was even necessary if they stopped the others in their future. But sensing he wouldn't get much more, he stopped himself from asking.

"You both gave me much to think of. I hope you know I have to tell the lords something."

"I have an idea" Bran said. "Just tell them about Jon's parentage. That is all they should know."

"What about you both bullying the night's watch into letting the wildlings south of the wall?"

"It's technically not bullying if you simply imply what you will do to them" Jaeheron said, though Robb could tell he didn't see things that way.

"You're trying to justify what you did so that you feel better... brother."

Jaeron smiled sadly. "You know me too well, Robb."

"You can call on us later" Bran said. "I'm sure you'd like to get back to having sex before we interrupted."

Robb and Talisa were too embarrassed to answer.

Jaeheron once more looked exasperated as he picked the younger Stark up. "I've had to deal with this longer. Count yourselves lucky."

Bran's lack of tact strikes again.

Going through a rough time in real life. Not sure when I'll update next.

Next time, Jon goes ooc to deal with the northern lords. Bran continues to spy. TYWIN MUST SUFFER!
