Another new story with an odd idea. So I like pokemon a whole lot, and really like seeing their moves come to life in battles. So I was wondering why not put them in MHA? There are already animal-like people with emitter-type abilities like the villain from the 'Heroes Rising' movie, so I thought it was a good fit. I will treat them as people rather than animals, giving them names and such. That being said, when introduced, it will be the surname and then the given name. (Ex: Midoriya Izuku) Don't own any pokemon or MHA.

"Whoa... It's Tentacole..."

"He looks so cool!"

"Kind of scary though..."

Shoji heard these comments numerous times, whether it was whenever he was out in patrol or during his childhood. He knows his giant body can be intimidating for most people whenever he was out and about. Though he never held anything against them. He hoped that being a hero would help others reach an understanding for those with mutant-like looks and abilities.

It's been roughly 2 years since he has graduated from UA alongside his peers, and they sure have been quite busy since then.

With the League of Villains now behind bars and the defeat of All for One, a power vacuum was left unchecked, and most small-time villains tried to take their place. Now, an era of stability was trying to be reached. With heroes trying once again to try to keep the peace any way they can. At the moment, Shoji was in an area of town that was known to be highly populated with mutant-like quirks. While the number of Mutant type quirks didn't outnumber the number of emitters in this area, it still was heavy enough for it to be a noticeable difference compared to the other surrounding areas.

He heard some type of commotion up ahead and moved to see what was going on. When he got there, he saw numerous people running away from a fight between two people with animal-like quirks. One was a giant bulky blue beetle with a long horn sticking at the front of his head like a rhino, while the other was a green monkey with a bushy grass-like head of hair and the end of his tail.

Both were engaged in a sort of brawl, with the two throwing heavy punches towards each other and damaging bits of property as they shoved one another. It got particularly dangerous when the bug-like mutant was able to pick up the ape with his horn and threw him towards a herd of people.

The multi-armed hero charged toward the crowd as fast as he could, forming as many arms as he could before standing in front of them with wide arms to catch the flying primate. Even with so many arms wrapped around the enemy, he still had a struggle keeping him in check as he continued to fail and squirm his way out of his arms.

"Stay out of this Hero!", the insect-like human charge towards Shoji with a furious expression, causing Shoji's eyes to widen. While the crowd may have dissipated now that he caught the villain, he was now stuck in a bind as he couldn't move without releasing the person in his arms. His only option would have to release his prisoner a couple of meters before the other collided into him.

Just before he could enact his plan, he heard a ferocious growl like a predator come from behind him. Before a red blur seemingly jump over him before landing on his feet. Standing in front of him was a red bipedal tiger with large tufts of red fur that extend from his cheeks. He was just a big, if not bigger than Shoji. His arms, legs, and tail had red and black stripes that formed bands around them with a tuft of spiky black fur around the tip of the tail. He didn't have much clothing on besides a pair of dark jeans and a black hoodie. He also didn't have and gloves or shoes on and opted to extend his sharp white claws that seemed to glisten in the midday sun.

The sudden arrival managed to meet his opponent head-on, making them both stop in their tracks as they locked arms and struggled to overcome one another.

"I heard the ruckus and came over here as fast as I could. It was supposed to be my day off, but I get villainy never rest now do they?", the tiger growled out as he stared at his opponent with his sharp green eyes.

The unrestrained villain tsked at the arrival of another hero, annoyed that his fun has been halted before revving himself up with another charge.

The feline hero gave a sharp-toothed grin as he watched the villain charge once more. Stepping away from Shoji, he put his two hands in front of his waist before igniting his quirk so that his two paws were set ablaze as he carefully watched his opponent start to approach at a rapid pace.

"Ultimate move- Darkest Lariat"

He then spun rapidly on his heel, causing him to look like a blazing spinning top as the beetle charged ahead. The beetle, foolishly thinking that he could overpower the experienced pro, rammed headfirst into the hero. Causing one of the flaming fists to smack him directly across his face, sending him flying back towards the street unconscious.

Feeling like the threat has passed, the fire-based hero stopped spinning and checked to make sure his comrade was safe and secured.

"You alright Tentacole?"

By now Shoji's captive have stopped he struggled and resigned himself to grumbles about being caught. He was surprised that the hero recognized him, though he supposed that he shouldn't be as he's been working around the area for quite some time.

"You know, I heard about your work around here. And I must say, I'm mighty impressed with your work."

Shoji produced another arm to shake his fellow here in hand, "Thank you..."

"Hino Genki, or Incineroar if I'm out in patrol."

He nodded as the police finally arrived to take the two in custody, with the two giving their report on the situation and details. As Shoji looked on as the cops drove away, Hino looked down at his ruined hoodie and slightly singed jeans in slight frustration. "Damn, I really liked this one too..."

Shoji chuckled, with caused the other to give him a grin.

"Well thank you for the assist, Hino."

"Well, if you ever want to team up again, you can give me a call at my agency. It shouldn't be too hard to look me up."

"Thanks, I will definitely give you a call if I need to."

With that, the two pros separated once more, with Shoji going back to resume his patrol and Hino going off to presumably to find a new hoodie and jeans. Unaware of the harsh circumstances that will bring them together again.

Hino Genki

Hero Name: Incineroar

Quirk- Flaming Cat Belt

Along with having the muscular physique of a tiger, he also has a super-heated belt that can shoot fire from his waist. After extensive training with his quirk, he is now able to tolerate being encased in flames for a short while.

Genki 元気 - vitality, vigor, energy.

Hino- 火 (hi) meaning "fire" and 野 (no) meaning "wilderness".

Hope this caught your interest. Let me know if there are pokemon that you hope to see in the MHA universe. I know for sure I'm doing Greninja. If you do make a suggestion, the rule is that the pokemon has to be Bipedal in some shape or form for it to work.
